Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all that is
-
within me. Bless His holy name, Sharon, delove it, and
-
thank you for joining today's morning glory devotion. I am
-
Amanda Baidu from Harvest Chapel International Dayamico Mercy, and I'll
-
be taking today's session. Please let's share our confession from
-
the Book of Joshua, Chapter one, verse eight. This book
-
of the Law shall not repass out of our mouth,
-
but I shall meditate in it day and night, that
-
I may observe to do according to all that is
-
written in it. For then I will make my way
-
prosper and then I will have good success. Amen. Please,
-
let's pray. Father. We thank you so much for today,
-
and we ask that even as we are about to
-
hear your word, that you shall prepare our hearts to
-
receive this word in Jesus name, Amen beloved. Our topic
-
for today is titled be anxious for Nothing, and our
-
scripture reading is taken from Philippian's Chapters for overse thirteen.
-
Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and
-
supplication with thanksgiving. Let your requests be known to God
-
and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will
-
guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Amen, be
-
anxious for nothing, brethren. God does not desire for us
-
to live in a constant state of anxiety and worry,
-
but rather learn to trust Him in everything with gratitude
-
in our hearts. Anxiety from a biblical lens can be
-
defined as a restless, fearful, or uneasy state of mind
-
regarding future uncertainties or currents burdens of things, stemming from
-
a failure to trust in God's provision. It is common
-
to man, but if left unchecked, anxiety can easily become
-
second nature. Have you ever come across people who were
-
constantly on age, always worrying about everything, second guessing themselves
-
about every decision, anticipating the worst events, and being suspicious
-
about everyone around them. Such people aren't pleasant to hung around,
-
as they worry so much they turn into permanent complainers
-
instead of truly enjoying life. Beloved, God created us to
-
be fruitful and multiplied, and to have life and have
-
it more abundantly. But worry and anxiety will rob us
-
of the joy of the present if we allow it.
-
Instead of being graceful for what we do have, we
-
imagine the worst possible scenario and meditate on it so
-
much until it robs us of the present joy and rest.
-
And God considers this to be an undesirable state. He says,
-
don't be anxious. Rather cast those cares and beddings before Him, Beloved,
-
we must make it a habit of casting our cares
-
through prayer. Every time we feel anxious. Name the beddens
-
in prayer, blest them and presents them to God, and
-
pray through them until you sense a release in your spirit.
-
God gives us peace for our anxious thoughts. But this
-
is available for those who choose to exchange it in prayer.
-
Until you learn by practice to cast that anxiety, Brethren,
-
you will constantly slip feather into fear, desperation, and despair.
-
There is peace available for your heart and mind, the
-
kind of peace that surpasses all understanding. So stop holding
-
onto that anxiety. Come to the place of prayer, cast
-
their care, and receive the peace of God. Shalom. Our
-
memory verse is taken from Psalm ninety four Others nineteen.
-
In the multitude of my anxieties within me, your comforts
-
delight my soul. Amen. Thank you so much, Father, for today,
-
for this reminder that whenever we feel anxious, there is
-
an exchange waiting for us in the place of prayer. Peace.
-
Teach us not to trust in our own hand or
-
our own thoughts, but to present everything, every burden, every
-
care before you and release it unto you that you
-
may give us your peace. We thank you Father for
-
this wonderful promise that whenever we cast our cares before you,
-
you will give us peace. Thank you so much for
-
being such a good God, and we bless your holy name.
-
In Jesus' name. We prayed with thanksgiving, Amen, Belaved. Thank
-
you so much for tuning into today's morning glory devotion.
-
Lis have a spirit field day and be anxious for
-
nothing Shalam.
