Praise the Lord, Oh my soul, Praise the Lord beloved.
-
Thank you for tuning in to today's morning glory devotion.
-
My name is Amanda Baidu from Harvest Shapelin International, Dyamico Marsi,
-
and I'll be facilitating today's session. Kindly, let's pray. Father,
-
We thank you so much for today. We thank you
-
for such a beautiful morning, and we thank you for
-
the opportunity to gather as your children to hear your word.
-
We ask, o Lord, that you help us to understand
-
this word and grant us the grace to apply its
-
truth to our lives. In Jesus' name, Amen beloved. Let's
-
take our confession from the Book of Joshua, chapter one,
-
verse eight. This book of the Law shall not depart
-
out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in it
-
day and night, that I may observe to do according
-
to all that is written in it. For then I
-
will make my way prosperous, and then I will have
-
good success, Amen beloved. Our topic for today is titled
-
Thou shalt not fear, Thou shalt not fear, and our
-
scripture reading is taken from Second Timothy chapter one, verse seven.
-
For God has not given us a spirit of fear,
-
but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. Amen.
-
Our second scripture is taken from Psalm twenty three years four.
-
Yet though I walk through the valley of the Shadow
-
of Death, I will fear no evil, for you are
-
with me. Your word and your staff they comforts me. Amen,
-
Thou shalt not fear. Beloved, we have not been given
-
the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind.
-
As believe us. We are expected to live bold and
-
courageous lives to the glory of God, not to be
-
crippled by the spirit of fear. It is often said
-
that faith and fear are like opposite ends of a spectrum.
-
Just like faith, fear is also like a force that
-
moves things accept and moves them in the negative direction.
-
Fear can gripe your mind, your thoughts, your actions, and
-
your whole life as a whole, making sure that you
-
never fulfill the assignments God has set for you. Throughout
-
the scriptures, we see how mighty men of God like
-
David moved with courage and battle, knowing that God was
-
on their side. Beloved, the battle of life requires that
-
we move with power and boldness, and the spirit of
-
fear is designed to cripple us from achieving this. Fear
-
played out in the story of Moses, who almost missed
-
the call of God on him because of perceived disability.
-
In Exodus chapter four, in numbers chapter thirteen, the ten
-
Israelite spies, we're so crippled in fear that they missed
-
the Promised Land, with the exception of calib and Joshua,
-
who rather shows courage in the Lord. There are many
-
more stories like this in scripture which demonstrate to us
-
that fear will never produce victory. Beloved, timidity is not
-
a desirable trait in the Kingdom of God. It is
-
not from God, so you must not accept it. Do
-
not allow fear to make you paranoid and unable to
-
live out God's purpose. Fear is a currency. It's a
-
currency of consent to the devil. So the more you
-
meditate on the lies and tricks of the enemy instead
-
of the word of God, the more you become enslaved
-
with the spirit of fear. Refuse to live in fear,
-
standing the power of God, and walk in victory. Beloved,
-
Fear enterst through the mind, through our eye and ear gates.
-
So we must block the access to the world and
-
allow the word of God to set the confines of
-
our thoughts life, and always constantly be on the prayer watch.
-
Let us not expect, anticipate, and receive the things fear brings,
-
but rather live in the spirit of power, love and
-
sound mind, working as blood boats and redeemed children of God. Beloved,
-
Thou shalt not fear, shalloon our memory Versus taken from
-
Psalm twenty seven, verse one. The Lord is my light
-
and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is
-
the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid? Amen? Please,
-
let's pray Father, We thank you so much for this
-
reminder that timidity and fear is not what you have
-
given us in the Kingdom. We pray Father that you
-
help us to be able to block all the channels
-
of fear and the portals that we have allowed into
-
our minds through our thoughts, the things we watch, the
-
things we hear, the common decisions we have. Father, help
-
us to block all those access points of fear and
-
rather meditate on the word of God. Rather, let your
-
word be the filter for our perspective and do just
-
the confines of our thoughts that will be emboldened with
-
power to work this walk of faith in victory in
-
Jesus' name. Amen, beloved bease stay tuned for more spirit
-
filled content, and have a wonderful day. Shaloon.
