HCI today. I believe, I know that through this channel

God is touching your life. This is Harvest Chapel International

Commercy and coming to you live with our morning glory

devotion His pastor and Missus Bau. We believe, I know

that even as we keep spending this time together, God

would definitely keep blessing and touching our lives day after day,

and we will grow into that desirable image even of

the stature of the fullness of Christ. Please, let's share

what a prayer together our heavenly Father will thank you

for this morning, for this new and beautiful day that

you have blessed us with. We thank you for this

opportunity that you have created for us to look into

your wed again. We know that even as we do that,

even as by Your spirit or God, we will be changed.

In the name of Jesus, Speak wisdom to us and

help us to work by it all the days of

our lives. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray, Amen and Amen, Beloved.

We want to take our confession from Joshua chapter one,

verse eight. Joshua chapter one, verse eight this book of

the Law shall not depart out of my mouth, but

I shall meditate in it to day and night, that

I may observe to do according to all that is

written in it. For then I will make my word prosperous,

and then I will have good success. Amen and Amen, God,

bless you belove it. The theme for today's devotion is

let your life matter. Let your life matter. And our

texts will be taken from Acts chapter nine, the verse

thirty six through forty three. Acts Chapter nine, the verse

thirty six through forty three. I'm reading from the New

English translation. Now. In Jopa there was a disciple named Tabitha,

which in translation means Dockers. She was continually doing good

deeds and acts of charity. At that time, she became

sick and died. When they had watched her body, they

placed it in an upstairs room because Leader was near Jopah.

When the disciples heard that Peter was there, they sent

two men to him and urged him come to us

without delay. So Peter got up and went with them,

And when he had arrived, they brought him to the

upper room. All the widows stood beside him, crying and

Let your life matter, Let your life matter. I attended

a funeral a few weeks ago. At the burial service,

there was a thick crowd that there was no place

to sit them. Probably after a thousand people people from

all over the country to mourn, they departed. He wasn't

an mp, nor was he a celebrity. He was an

ordinary born again believer who was on fire for God

and diligently worked in the vineyard of God. Wherever he

found himself. He made himself useful to every church he

had the opportunity to fellowship with in his social circles.

He loved people as commanded by God, his colleagues awake,

old schoolmates, neighbors, and his townfolk. Though he was not

a clergyman or a pastor, there were about thirty priests

and pastors in attendance at the buyer service. The crowd

was full of people whose lives had been impacted by

the man who laid in the casket. He was very

energetic and full of life, but suddenly puff he was gone,

only at fifty five years of age. Tribunes upon tributes

were read of how impactful the man lying the coffin

had been. It was indeed attaching and emotional service. As

I sat there, I asked myself whether at my person

I would guess such beautiful testimonies that I had imparted

lives far and wide for the glory of God Beloved.

This morning, I want you to ask yourself same question.

What testimonies would be gin of you? Looking at the

trajectory of your life? Now? Will you be described as loving, kind, patient, faithful, joyful,

peace loving, full of goodness, gentle, self controlled, earnest, full

of integrity, and so on? When your work here on

earth is done. Will your life have counted in making

the lives of others better? Would your life have contributed

to advancing the Kingdom of God? And most importantly, will

our Father in Heaven say to you, good and faithful servant,

you have represented me well. The story is also told

of Damien di Vesta, who saved as a priest on

an island for outcast lepers in Molokai. He read his

life to live with these leopers when no one would

dare to go to the island. He ministered the word

of God to them and cared for their needs. In

the course of his ministry, he also contracted leprosy later

in life. When he died on the island, his country

and family wanted his remains flown back home, while the

Lepez wanted him buried on the island. After a loss

of dialog, the lepers requested one thing. They asked that

if his body had to be flown back to his family,

at least his right hand should be cut and buried

on the island. Their explanation was that it was with

the hand that he touched them and ministered to them.

Wow Similarly, their one dockers, as we read in the

opening touch lives when she had the opportunity. We are

told that she was constantly full of good works and

spent her life in doing kind and charitable acts. Her

person away attracted many tearful people, some of whom busily

display tokens of her goodness towards them. Peter was brought

in to raise her back to life, as the people

whose life she had impacted did not want her good

days to end. They wanted her a life so she

will continue to make feather impact. Beloved, time is not

on her side. We won't always be around. Please, Let

your hand be God's hand that touches others with healing

and gave to meet the needs of others. Let your

eyes Begaure's eye that look at others with so much

passion that if you loved and cared for. Let your

mouth be the mouth of God that consistently speaks blessings

and edifying words to encourage, inspire, and comfort others. Dear one,

kindly take a moment and assess it for yourself. Are

you a good representative of God? Are you positively impacting

the lives of others as He has mandated for all

his children, or on the contrary, you are bringing shame

by your life. Are you representing Jesus well? Can we

also live our lives being so relevant to our generation

such that our lives would have counted on a personal

level with those we were in close proximity with. Jesus

never ceased to make impact on the people who came

into contact with him. It did not matter whether it

was their first meeting or they were close acquaintances. They

all had their lives impacted by Jesus. He is an

ultimate example of impact. He lived a short thirty three

years on earth, but his impact has transcended generations and

will forever count The ultimate Being laid his life down

so we can have intern our life. Reading the Gospels

the life he lived as documented, this has a glimpse

of how our lives must be in order to make

huge impact and make our lives count to the glory

of God while here on earth. The qualities that he

demonstrated were wow, excellent, mind blowing out of the ordinary,

and worse if you feel to truely describe but mix

up what the Bible terms as the fruit of the

Holy Spirit there one. How then, do we wear Jesus

well or live a life that is full of impact,

just like that of Jesus and these men and women

we are talking about today. We must lose our lives

to the will of God and give ourselves to cultivating

that the fruit of the Holy Spirit. We cultivate because

this fruit will not just come to play without our

conscious and deliberate effort to bet In that regard, we

first and foremost need a relationship with the Holy Spirit.

We need to acknowledge His presence with us as a teacher, advocate, help,

and under who's tutelage and leadership this fruit will come

to play. We will then have to listen and obey

his promptens moment by moment, day by day, and we

will marvel how these foods will play out in our

lives and consequently impact others. It is li liken to

a professional cook teaching an amateur cook to prepare a

very delicate dish. All the amateur needs to do is

to trust and rely on the leadership of the experienced

cook who knows it all, and do things exactly as instructed,

and the dish will come out very well like a

professional cook, regardless how she might feel about some of

the steps. Sticking to the professional advice will be prudent

to bring out the best food one day at a time,

moment by moment, being obedience to the leading of the

Holy Spirit, your life will count at the end. There

one starts. Now, do not wait till death. Minute in,

minute out, the clock is taken, and your life undergo

assessment when your clock expires. Beloved by all means, make

your life count in Jesus name. Amen, please let's take
