  3. richly bless you for tuning into Radio ACAI today for

  4. our morning Glory devotion. Privilege to be facilitating today's episode

  5. our pastor and missus Brucemith from Harvard Shapel International Commercy.

  6. Let us kind of share a word of prayer. Gracious Father,

  7. we thank you for the privilege of life. We thank

  8. you for your word that is coming to us. We

  9. pray then you open up our hearts to receive faith

  10. in Jesus name. Amen. Let's can you take a conversion

  11. from Josh chapter one, verse eight. This book of the

  12. Law shall not depart out of my mouth, but I

  13. shall meditate in a day and night that I may

  14. observe to do according to all that is thretten in it.

  15. For then I will make my way prosperous, and then

  16. I will have good success. Amen. The thing for today's

  17. devotion is have you prayed today? Have you prayed today?

  18. Part one and our scripture readings will be taken from

  19. Mark chapter one, verse thirty five and first the Salonius

  20. chapter five, verse seventeen. Mark chapter one, verse thirty five,

  21. and first Thessalonians chapter five, verse seventeen. I'll be reading

  22. from the New King James version Mark, chapter one, verse

  23. thirty five. Now in the morning, having raised a long

  24. while before daylight, he went out and departed to a

  25. solitary place, and there he prayed Amen. First the Salonian

  26. shotter five seventeen. Pray without season, beloved. Here ends the

  27. reading of the Word of the Lord, and all shall respond.

  28. Towns be to God. Have you prayed today? Part? One?

  29. In today's first world, the rush to leave home early

  30. to be traffic, the pressure of getting the children ready

  31. for school on time, the demand to meet deadlines at work,

  32. et cetera. It has become a common phenomenon for the

  33. twenty first century believer to trade his or her prayer

  34. life to meet with the increasing expectations. Prayer has lost

  35. its relevance in those Christian homes, and many believers have

  36. their prayer orters broken, despite the command to keep the

  37. altar burning day and night. The irony, however, as rightly

  38. said by M. E. Andrews, as that there is no

  39. other activity in life so important as that of prayer.

  40. Every other activity depends upon prayer for its best efficiency.

  41. Men ought to pray and not fain look Chapter eighteen,

  42. verse one. Pray always first. Thessalonians five seventeen continue in

  43. prayer Collosians chapter four, verse two. These instructions from the

  44. Lord are as relevant in our day as when they

  45. were first spoken to the hearers. Now more than ever,

  46. we need to return to the place of prayer. When

  47. the world is doing everything possible with the amazing innovations

  48. and scientific breakthroughs, to make it look like we do

  49. not need God to run our lives and the affairs

  50. of this world, the believer needs to run back into

  51. the arms of the Father again and again. What better

  52. way to do this than through prayer. Prayer offers us

  53. the opportunity not to lose sight of the relevance of

  54. God in our lives, no matter what is happening around us.

  55. Some one twenty seven, Verse one says, unless the Lord

  56. builds the house, the labor in vain, who build it.

  57. Unless the Lord gods the city, the watchman stays awake

  58. in vain. Prayer brings us into the acknowledgment we cannot

  59. do life on our own, that we need the help

  60. and guidance of the Holy Spirit. To successfully navigate the

  61. journey of life Acts Chapter seventeen, verse twenty eight. Take

  62. prayer out of your life, and you'll become an easy

  63. target for the enemy powers behind the scenes orchestrating happenings

  64. in our world from the unseen realm Efficient Chapter six,

  65. verse ten to eighteen. How then, can we ensure that

  66. prayer becomes a man's day in our lives? Episodes two

  67. and three of this series answers these questions. Amen, Our

  68. memory verse for today will be taken from Psalm fifty five,

  69. verse sixteen and seventeen, reading from the New King James

  70. version Psalm fifty five, sixteen and seventeen. As for me,

  71. I will call upon God and the Lord shall save

  72. me evening and morning and afternoon. I will pray and

  73. cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice. Amen, God,

  74. Richly blessed you beloved for being a part of today's devotion.

  75. We know that your life has been blessed, and as

  76. we have been encouraged, you want to return to the

  77. place of prayer in Jesus Mighty name, Do not change

  78. your doll as we have carefully selected content for your

  79. edification and for your growth. Shallo and have a blessed

  80. and fruitful day. Amen.
