  16. I may observe to do according to all that is

  19. for today's devotionists, Have you prayed today? Part three? Have

  20. you prayed today? Part three, and will be taking our

  21. scripture readings from Mark chapter one, verse thirty five, and

  22. first the Salonians chapter five, verse seventeen, Mark one thirty five,

  23. and first Thesalonius five seventeen reading from the new International version,

  24. Mark one thirty five. Very early in the morning, while

  25. it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house

  26. and went off to a solitary place where he prayed

  27. first the Salony chapter five seventeen. Pray continually, Pray continually.

  28. May the Lord add his blessings to the reading and

  29. hearing of his word, and Lord shall respond, Thanks be

  30. to God. Have you prayed today? Part three. In our

  31. previous reflections, we discussed how important it is for believers

  32. to return to the place of prayer. We saw how

  33. the systems of this world, if not carefully managed, can

  34. gradually relegate our prayer lives down the priority list. We

  35. also learned that God has not left us alone to

  36. rebuild our prayer orders. He lends a helping hand to

  37. all who are ready to work the path of making

  38. prayer a daily necessity. Finally, we touched on how maintaining

  39. a living relationship with God and developing a consistent or

  40. boastword steady life can contribute to making us mighty men

  41. and women of prayer. We conclude our series by examining

  42. three more ways to help build and maintain a consistent

  43. prayer life. In Mark, chapter one thirty five reviews a

  44. secret of our Lord Jesus rising A great while before day,

  45. he went out to a solitary place and prayed. Jesus

  46. had a skined He does not leave prayer to chance

  47. or convenience. If the Son of God carved out a

  48. specific time and place, how much more do we need

  49. a plan to protect your prayer life. You must have

  50. a plan. If you do not schedule a time for God,

  51. the demands of the day will schedule you out. Decide

  52. on a specific hor set an alarm, pick a quiet corner.

  53. Treat this appointment with the creator of the universe as

  54. completely non negotiable. Secondly, we must look for accountability partners. Ecclesias,

  55. chapter four, verse nine reminds us that two are better

  56. than one because they have a good reward for their labor.

  57. When your personal prayer altar feels cold, you need a

  58. trusted brother or sister in Christ who will ask you

  59. the hard questions. Find a prayer partner, someone who will

  60. text or call you at dawn, stand in the gap

  61. with you and gently pull you back when you begin

  62. to drift. True spiritual growth thrives in holy community. Finally,

  63. we must actively participate in corporate prayer meetings. There is

  64. a distinct authority that breaks forth when believers gather in

  65. one accord. In the early Church, when Peter was locked

  66. in prison, Acts Chapter twelve, vers five records that constant

  67. prayer was offered to God for him by the church.

  68. Corporate prayer provides an environment that catches you when you're

  69. personal strength fails. Iron sharpness Ion Provab Chapter twenty seven,

  70. verse seventeen. The collective fire of the congregation warms your

  71. cold heart, carries your burdens, and lifts your spirit back

  72. into alignment with Heaven. Beloved, do not let your altar

  73. become a heap of ashes again. If others have made it,

  74. you too, can pray every day a man our memory.

  75. Verse for today will be taken from Daniels, Chapter six,

  76. first ten. Daniels Chapter six, first ten, reading from the

  77. New King James version. Now, when Daniel knew that the

  78. writing was signed, he went home and in his upper room,

  79. with his windows open toward Jerusalem. He knelt down on

  80. his knees three times that day and prayed and gave

  81. thanks before his God, as was his custom since any days. Amen,

  82. let us kindly share a way of prayer. Father, in

  83. the name of Jesus, We thank you for teaching us

  84. about the importance and relevance of prayer. Even as we

  85. come before you trust Him. We pray that you help

  86. us revive our prayer Alts. Let prayer not be abedded

  87. but a delightful affair in Jesus Name. Amen. God, richly

  88. bless you beloved for stay input throughout our devotion. We

  89. know that as the Word of God has come, it

  90. has come to equip us, and you and I will

  91. have lovely prayer times with God. In Jesus name. Shallum

  92. and have a blessed and fruitful day, Amen,
