Shaloon and a blessed day to you, beloved God, bless
-
you for connecting for today's episode of our morning glory devotion.
-
Here and have a chapel international mercy. This is Pasta
-
and Missus Smison facilitating today's episode. Let us pray further.
-
We thank you, bless you. We'll give you glory for
-
this opportunity to hear your word. We pray you open
-
our hearts that we may be able to receive your
-
word in faith and go out and practice it in
-
Jesus name a man, beloved. Let's take our confession together
-
from Jusua chapter one, the verse eight. This book of
-
the Law shall not depart out of my mouth, but
-
I shall edit it in it day and night, that
-
I may observe to do according to all that is
-
written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous,
-
and then I will have good success a man. Our
-
topic for today is pray for someone to day. Pray
-
for someone to day, beloved. Our scripture readings for today
-
will be from Ezekiel twenty two the verse thirty, James
-
chapter five, the Then's sixteen, and First Timothy chapter two
-
the verse one to four. Ezekiel twenty two, the verse thirty.
-
So I sought for a man among them who would
-
make a war and stand in the gap before me
-
on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it.
-
But I found no one. James chapter five, the verse sixteen.
-
Confess your trespass to one another, and pray for one another,
-
that you may be healed. The effective favoring prayer of
-
a righteous man avails match first Timothy chapter two, the
-
best one to four. Therefore, I exhort first that supplications, prayers, intercessions,
-
and giving of thanks be made for all men, for
-
kings and all who are in authority, that they may
-
lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
-
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of
-
God as Savior, who desires that all men be saved
-
and come to the knowledge of the truth. May the
-
Lord add his blessing to their reading and the hearing
-
of his word. A man a man pray for someone
-
to die. Intercession is a vital part of our Christian faith,
-
exemplified by figures like Abraham, Moses, Joke, and Jesus. Believers
-
are encouraged to pray for the lost oppressed and needed
-
participating in God's work of love and compassion. Abraham, a
-
notable intercessor, pray for Sodom when it was on the
-
rank of destruction. He had previously led his strong men
-
to liberate them from bondage, and later stood in the
-
guard to represent them before God ultimately broken a deal
-
on their behalf. Moses, another intercessor, led a stubborn generation
-
who continually forestraated God's plan. Many times we read of
-
his intercession, which held back the deserved wrath of God
-
from consuming the nation of Israel. Joe was a devoted intercessor.
-
He constantly prayed for his children. Through his offering and prayers,
-
he presented them before God for their safety and security.
-
Beloved somewhere, Daniel, Nehemiah, Amos as a Chair are all
-
biable characters who carried a bedding and interceded at crucial
-
times for their nation Israel. God heard their prayers and
-
God earned them. The story of Queen Esther is famous
-
for the phrase if I perish, I perish. She gathered
-
the courage to prioritize her nation survival over her own
-
comfort and intervened during a time of imminent annihilation Jesus
-
and the Holy Spirit are intercesses. All believers must also
-
be intercesses. The hallmark of Jesus' earthly ministry was one
-
of persistence, self sacrifice, and standing in the gard for others.
-
His ministry was rooted in empathy and a desire to
-
offer grace and hell onto others. He prayed for Peter,
-
he prayed for his disciples, and he prayed for all believes.
-
Even on the cross, he kept on interceding. He was
-
a prayer warrior and a true intercessor. As a high priest,
-
he continues to intercede for us, mediating our cads before
-
God daily and representing as well. He pushes aside the
-
accuser and the devour for our sake. Belived, every believer
-
called by God must rise up in intercession as we
-
carry God's bed in daily. The Holy Spirit within us
-
enables us to share in God's heart beat for lost
-
man kind. God wants us to rise up and pray
-
for the lost. He doesn't want anyone to live in
-
darkness and away from Him. Many are lost, lost to
-
sin and the perssions of this world. Intercession is a
-
vital part of the work in the field of souls.
-
Whilst some are preaching the word in distant lands, others
-
doing it on the streets, There must also be minimal
-
on their needs. Praying for souls night and day. God
-
wants us to rise up to pray for those who
-
are bound, harassed, bullies, and under the influence of the devil.
-
We don't have to look far to find people like
-
this in our homes, our children, spouses, siblings, close friends, neighbors, colleagues,
-
and even random strangers we meet. Intercession allows us to
-
participate in this great ministry of helping, loving, and caring
-
for others. It produces results because God hears and answers prayers.
-
Intercession moves us to put love into action. When we
-
intercede for people, we are motivated to take a step
-
to offer them help through sharing the Gospel, sharing a meal,
-
and offering hospitality to them. Beloved, pray for someone today
-
beyond your own needs. Present others before God, wish them
-
well before him, empathize and seek for their breakthrough and wellness.
-
In constant prayers, ask the Bible and encourages us to
-
pray without season. We must also intercede without season. Amen, God,
-
bless you. Let's take our memory. Theirs for today from
-
first Timothy two. There's one. Therefore, I exhort first of
-
all that supplication, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be
-
made for all men. Therefore I exhort first of all
-
that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and given of thanks be made
-
for all men. A man, Let's pray further. We thank
-
you for this word today. We pray that you will
-
help us to pray for others, to think about others
-
as we go down on our knees, help us and
-
bearing us to consider the needs of others before you
-
in Jesus name a man. God bless you for listening
-
and being a part of today's episode. We encourage you
-
to continue to connect again for more spiritualed episodes of
-
our morning glory devotion. Beloved sharllon and have a bleasure. Amen.
