  6. Please, let's share a word of prayer.

  7. Father, We thank you for another opportunity that we have

  8. to look into your word. We pray that even as

  9. you teach us, our hearts will imbibe your word and

  10. work with it all the days of our lives. That

  11. your name alone will be praised throughout all the years.

  12. Now I am forever in Jesus Mighty name. Amen, and Amen.

  13. Beloved.

  14. Let's take our confession together from Joshua chapter one, the

  15. verse eight. This book of the Law shall not depart

  16. out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in it

  17. day and night, that I may observe to do according

  18. to all that is written in it. For then I

  19. will make my way prosperous, and then I will have

  20. good success, Amen.

  21. Beloved.

  22. Today's episode is titled pay Attention to Instructions, Part one,

  23. and our text will be taken from Genesis chapter six,

  24. the verse nine through twenty two. I'll be reading from

  25. the New English translation Genesis six the Best nine. This

  26. is the account of Noah. Noah was a godly man.

  27. He was blameless. Among his contemporaries, he worked with God.

  28. Noah had three sons, shame, Ham and Japid. The earth

  29. was ruined in the sight of God. The earth was

  30. filled with violence. God saw the earth, and indeed it

  31. was ruined, for all living creatures on the earth were simple.

  32. So God said to Noah, I.

  33. Have decided that all living creatures must die, for the

  34. earth is filled with violence because of them. Now I'm

  35. about to destroy them and the earth. Make for yourself

  36. an act of cypress wood. Make rooms in the act

  37. and cover it with pitch inside and out.

  38. This is how you should make it.

  39. The act is to be four hundred and fifty feet long,

  40. seventy five feet wide, and forty five feet high. Make

  41. a roof for the act and finish it live in

  42. eighteen inches from the top. Put a door in the

  43. side of the act, and make lower, middle and appadex.

  44. I'm about to bring flat waters on the earth to

  45. destroy from under the sky all the living creatures that

  46. have the breath of life.

  47. In them. Everything that is on the earth will die.

  48. But I will confirm my covenant with you. You will

  49. enter the act, you, your sons, your wife, and your

  50. son's wives.

  51. With you.

  52. You must bring into the act two of every kind

  53. of living creature, from all flesh, male and female, to

  54. keep them alive with you. Of the bears after their kinds,

  55. and of the cattle after their kinds, and of every

  56. creeping thing of the ground after its kind. Two of

  57. every kind will come to you so you can keep

  58. them alive. And you must take for yourself every kind

  59. of food that is eaten and gather it together. It

  60. will be food for you and for them. And no

  61. one did all that God commanded him. He did, indeed

  62. beloved the word of the Lord cans be to God.

  63. Pay attention to instructions, pressures one. What you do when

  64. you are praying for a miracle, but God sends you

  65. an instruction instead. Many of us may be waiting for

  66. God to move in a spectacular flash of lightning and

  67. suddenly sweep our problems away in a well wind wander

  68. breakthrough when we wanted to arrive fully formed. But if

  69. you look closely at scripture, you will find that God

  70. rarely drops a miracle out of the sky without requiring

  71. a human hand to move. More often than not, your

  72. miracle is wrapped up in an instruction. Think about Noah

  73. for a moment. The year was heavy with sin and wickedness,

  74. and God determined to cleanse it.

  75. God chose to wipe out all.

  76. Of mankind and animals from the face of the earth

  77. through a great global flight. It was only Noah, a

  78. godly and blameless man, who found favor in God's and

  79. God decided to spare him and his family from the

  80. planned distraction.

  81. But how was this going to happen.

  82. God could have easily protected Noah by a supernatural shield,

  83. or caught him up into the heavens until the waters receded.

  84. That would have been very spectaclar. Instead, God handed him

  85. a tool pointed to the cypress wood and gave him

  86. a massive, an exhausting chore. Make for yourself and act

  87. as in Genesis chapter six, the verse fourteen. Imagine the

  88. days and years that followed. There was no dark cloud

  89. in the sky, no sign of rain. Yet Noah had

  90. to wake up every single morning, pick up his two

  91. and built according to God's instructions. God specified every detail

  92. including the height the rooms, the coating of pitch inside

  93. and out. It was a tedious and repetitive task. It

  94. invited the mockery of his neighbors. Yet Scripture tells us

  95. in Genesis sevn the verse five, that Noah did all

  96. that God commanded him. When the flat gates finally opened

  97. and the deep fountains burst, it wasn't a Sadden magic

  98. trick that saved Noah and his family. It was the

  99. hark he had spent years based taking the building in obedience,

  100. the watchers raised the very thing his hands had labored over.

  101. There one, what instruction are you sitting on today? What

  102. has godman you to do in his word or through

  103. the quiet whisper of His spirit, that you have cast

  104. aside because it feels too small, too tedios, or too difficult.

  105. Perhaps you are praying for a financial breakthrough, but ignoring

  106. the instruction to be fitful with your tithes and offense.

  107. Perhaps you are praying for a restored home.

  108. But ignoring the instruction to speak with kindness. Maybe you

  109. are waiting for a career breakthrough a promotion, but ignoring

  110. the instruction to refine your attitude towards work and be

  111. humbled towards people around you. Pressures one. Do not wait

  112. in idleness for dramatic sign. Your deliverance is hidden in

  113. your obedience. When you do your path with the cypress,

  114. wood and the pitch today, God will surely send the

  115. waters to lift you above the storm.

  116. God richly bless you. But let's take our memory.

  117. Raise from Genesis chapter seven, the best five from the

  118. New King James version. He says, and no one date

  119. according to all that the Lord commanded him, and to

  120. no one date according to all that the Lord commanded him. Please,

  121. let's share a word of prayer, Our heavenly Father. We

  122. thank you for bringing our minds back to pay attention

  123. to your instructions in our daily living. We are sorry

  124. for any way that we have ignored your instructions all

  125. these days and all these years. We pray for the

  126. graves over us, the same grades that was upon Noah,

  127. to obey your instruction and build an act for even

  128. about a century, just for your promise to come to pass.

  129. We pray that every instruction you give us we'll be

  130. able to execute in all diligence and alter the praise

  131. of your glory. We thank you in Jesus Might, nay

  132. amen and Amen belived. God bless you for joining us

  133. for today's morning glory devotion. We're coming away again tomorrow

  134. with a Part two of this series. Stay blessed in

  135. Jesus Might, in nay Amen,
