MGD: Life Without Direction

Praise the Lord, and a very good morning to you.

Welcome to our Morning Glory devotion, which is powered by

Harvest Chapel International. Today's devotion will be shared by Pasta

and messays a more appear. Let's share a word of prayer. Father,

will thank you this day for your goodness and your

grace do was us. Thank you for the gift of

life you've granted all of us. Thank you for the

privilege to gather around your word. We ask for your

presence even in this moment, as we look to receive

grace and truth from the Word of God. Rich as,

Oh God, and transformers in Jesus my name.

Amen.

Let's take a confession from Joshua chapter one, verse eight.

This book of the Lord shall not depart out of

my mouth, but I shall meditate in mid day and

night that I may observe to do according to all

that is written in it. For then I will make

my way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen.

Our devotion for today is titled life without Direction, Life

without Direction, and will take our scripture reading from Proverbs

chapter sixteen, verse nine. Emman's heart devised his way, but

the Lord directs his steps made the Lord bless the

reading of his word.

Life without Direction. In August of last year, my husband

and I went to visit he appearance in the Lord.

On our return trip, we decided to avoid the main

road to escape the heavy traffic caused by an ongoing

road construction. But after what felt like minutes squadally turning

into ours of driving, we realized we were completely lost.

We ended up in a location so remote that even

Google Maps couldn't re rouse us. At that point, regrets

began to set in. Then out of nowhere, a taxi

driver appeared driving toward us. We quickly flagged him down

and pleaded for help to find our way back to

the main road. All he said was follow me. After

driving behind him for close to one he pointed us

toward a rough road ahead that would lead directly to

a nearby roundabout. A return journey that should have taken

one hour ended up taken three. But the turning point

in our journey was not just realizing we were lost.

It was encountering a guide. The taxi driver's simple instruction

follow me shifted everything. We did not need a full

explanation of the road network. We did not need to

understand every turn or junction ahead. We only needed to

trust and follow the one who knew the way. Many

of us are not lost because we lack intelligence or effort,

but because we are trying to navigate life independently without direction.

We consult in emotions and personal logic, yet often neglect

the one who sees the full mouth from beginning to end.

Scripture reminds us in prover Chapter three, verse five to six,

to trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and

lay not onto thine own understanding in all thy ways.

Acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy parts. The promise

is divine guidance and direction. God has not merely points

away from a distance. He actively orders the steps of

those who yield to him. The question therefore is not

whether God is willing to guide, but whether we are

willing to follow. The taxi driver's instruction was simple, but

it required surrender in obedience by letting go of our

own assumptions and aligning ourselves behind his lead. Life without

direction leads to exhaustion, confusion, and sometimes unnecessary delays. But

life under divine guidance leads to clarity, even when the

path is unfair. The road may still be rough, and

the journey may still take time, but there is peace

and knowing you are not getting on your way because,

as we lan that day, doing life without divine guidance

and direction can be dangerous, but the safest place is

staying behind the one who knows the way. Amen, beloved,

we take our memory verse for today. Memory verse is

taken from Palm Staty two, verse eight, and I read

from the King James version. I will instruct THEE and

teach THEE in the way which thou shalt go. I

will guide THEE with my Iye, I take it again.

I will instruct THEE and teach THEE in the way

with thou shall go. I will guide THEE with mine I. Amen.

Let us pray, Father, We thank you for speaking to

us through your word this morning. They ask for grace

not only to be hears of this word, but to

actively engage ourselves in doing your word. We ask that

the truth that we have received the bare fruits in

our lives. We pray and ask that continue God to

guide us and show us the way all through our

sojourning here on the earth. In chesus Monday name. We
