  1. Charlon beloved, you are welcome to today's Morning Glory Devotion.

  2. We have pastor in teaching as KOs from the Harvest

  3. Shapon International Dnamiko Mercy, and we are humbled to be

  4. bringing you another episode of our Morning Glory Devotion. Let

  5. us Candy share a word of prayer. Your Father, thank

  6. you for the blessing of today. As you're studying your word,

  7. please transform our lives with the truth that comes only

  8. from you in Jesus Mighty name. Amen, Amen, let us

  9. kind of take our confession for today from Jewsha chapter

  10. one 's aid Josh Chapter one vest aid.

  11. This book of the Law shall not depart from my mouth,

  12. but I shall meditate the next day and night that

  13. I may observe to do according to all that is

  14. written in it. For then I'll make my way cross cross,

  15. and then I will have good success. Amen.

  16. Today's message is titled Finding God Part one. He is

  17. closer than you think. Finding God Part one, He is

  18. closer than you think. Our scripture reading shall be taken

  19. from at chapter seventeen, verse twenty two to Tunity eight.

  20. At chapter seventeen, vers twenty two to Trinity eight. I'll

  21. be reading from their New International version. Paul then stood

  22. up in the meeting of the aneal Pagos, I said,

  23. people of Athens, I see that in every way you

  24. are very religious. For as I walked around and looked

  25. carefully at the objects of worship, I have found an

  26. altar with this inscription to one unknown God. So you

  27. are ignorant of the very thing in worship. And this

  28. is what I am going to proclaim to you. The

  29. God who made the world and everything in it, is

  30. the Lord of heaven and hearth, and does not live

  31. in the temples guilt by human hands, and he is

  32. not saved by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather,

  33. he himself gives everyone life and breadth and everything else

  34. from one man. He made all the nations that they

  35. should inhabit the whole health, and he marked out their

  36. appointed times in history and the boundaries of their glance.

  37. God did they so that they would seek him and

  38. perhaps reach out for him and find him. Though he

  39. is not far from any one of us, for in

  40. him we live and move and have our being. As

  41. some of your own poets have said, we are his offspral.

  42. The Lord add his blessings to.

  43. The reading and hearing of his word, Thanks God, Amen.

  44. Finding God Part one. He is closer than you think.

  45. When the apostle Paul stood on mass heel before the

  46. philosopher's of Haurvents, he noticed an altar bearing a curious

  47. inscription to the unknown God. It was a confession of

  48. humanity's old as such, deep within every heart is a

  49. longing for something greater than ourselves, a desire to find God,

  50. to know him, and to understand why we are here.

  51. Yet many imagining him to a distance, hidden somewhere beyond reach.

  52. Paul gently corrected that notion. Speaking of God, he said

  53. that He determined the times and places where we would live,

  54. so that we would seek him and perhaps reach out

  55. for him and find him. Though he is not far

  56. from any one of us. At seventeen the rest tub seven.

  57. What a comforting truth. God is not hiding from us,

  58. is drawing near to us. We see this beautifully in

  59. the Christmas story. When God wanted to lead the wise

  60. men to Christ, he used the star. These were men

  61. who spent their nine steadying the heavens, so God spoke

  62. to them throw something familiar a star. Likewise, when the

  63. angels announce the bed of Jesus to shepherds, They pointed

  64. them to a baby lying in a manger. To many,

  65. a manger was an ordinary feeding trough, but to shepherds

  66. it was part of their daily world. God used something

  67. they immediately recognize and could relate to. The lesson is simple.

  68. God often reveals himself through the ordinary details of life.

  69. For some, it may be a conversation that lingers in

  70. the mind long after it ends. For another, it may

  71. be a scripture that keeps resurfacing. For someone else, there

  72. may be a burden in prayer that refuses to go away.

  73. Sometimes his fingerprints appearing on exp provision, an open door,

  74. a timing word of encouragement, or even a season of

  75. difficulty that quietly draws us back to him. The tragedy

  76. is not that God is absent. The tragedy is that

  77. we are often looking for him in the spectacular, while

  78. he's right there in the familiar. Beloved God is closer

  79. than you think. He is present in your workplace, in

  80. your classroom, in your home, in your moments of joy,

  81. and even in your seasons of uncertainty. Long before you

  82. ever started searching for him, he had already begun drawing

  83. new to himself. So today slow down, look again, listen carefully,

  84. open your heart to His gentle workings around you. You

  85. may discover that the goal you have been sessioned four

  86. has been walking beside you all along or way sleepless.

  87. Let us kind of take our memory verse for today.

  88. Our memory verse shall be taken from Acts Chatter seventeen

  89. the verse twenty seven, Acts seventeen the verse twenty seven,

  90. and I will be reading from the new International version.

  91. God did this so that they will seek him and

  92. perhaps reach out for him and find him though he

  93. is not far from any one of us. God did

  94. this that it will seek him and perhaps reach out

  95. for him and find him though he is not far

  96. from anyone of us. And let us kind of share

  97. a wad of prayer. Father, open our eyes to recognize

  98. your presence in the ordinary moments of our lives. Help

  99. us not to overlook your hand at work around us.

  100. Give us hearts that seek you and eyes that recognize

  101. your nearness. In Jesus his name and.
