MGD: When the Promise Takes Time

Shall long beloved and welcome to today's morning glary devotion

facilitating today's Moninglory devotion. As Jessica a holy Let's pray,

Father Lord, we thank you for another opportunity to study

your word. Help us to understand your word and be

tew us of your word in Jesus name. Amen, Let's

kindly take our confession Joshor Chapter one, vers eight. This

book of the Law shall not depart out of my mouth,

but I shall meditate in its day and night, that

I may observe to do according to all that to

shorten in it. For then I will make my reprospose,

and then I will have good success a man when

the promise takes time. When the promise takes time, our

first scripture will not be taken. From Genesis eighteen, verse

nine to eleven, and he says, where is Sarah, your wife?

The visitors asked, she's inside the tent. Ibraham replied the

one of them said, I will return to you about

this time next year, and your wife, Sarah will have

a son. Sarah was listening to this conversation from the tent.

Abraham and Sarah were both very bored by this time,

and Sarah was long past the age of having children.

Our second scripture will not be taken from Genesis twenty one.

First one to do. The Lord kept his word and

did for Sarah exactly what he had promised. She became pregnant,

and she gave bed to a son for Abraham and

his old age. This happened at just the time God

has said the truth, and Abraham named their son Isaac Amen.

When the promise takes time. As believers, delays are a

normal part of our journey. No matter what God has

spoken over your life, it will only manifest at the

right time. God's promises are never late, They arrive according

to his perfect timing. When God gives us a dream,

challenges will come. Difficulties, disappointments, dead ends, and moments that

seemed hopeless are all part of life. The presence of

obstacles does not mean God has forgotten his promise. Sometimes

the greatest test is not whether we believe God can

do it, but whether we can wait for him to

do it. The story of Abraham reminds us that whatever

God's tays over our lives will surely come to pass. Abraham,

most seventy five years old, when God promised that he

would become the father of many nations. Yet he did

not hold Isaac the promised sir, and so he was

one hundred years old for twenty five years. Abraham had

to trust God even when the promise seemed impossible. As

you grew older and Sarah remained barren, every natural circumstance

suggested that the promise would never happen. Yet God remain faithful.

The life of Abraham teaches us that God's promises often

requires patience. The waiting season is not prove that God

has forgotten us. Sometimes God uses the waiting period to

build our faith, character, and dependence on Him. Perhaps you

are in a season of waiting right now. Maybe you

were discouraged because the promise has not yet materialized. Maybe

you are tempted to quit because the process is taken

longer than you expected. Do not give up. God is

stolen control. What he has spoken concern in your life

will surely come to pass. Abraham waited twenty five years,

and God kept his promise. Just as God fulfilled his

word to Abraham, he will surely fulfill his words to you.

Just keep saving, reading the word, praying fellowship, and at

the right time, the promise will be fulfilled. Amen. Our

memory first for today is taken from Habakerck two the three,

and he says, don't it's linger, wait for it. It

will certainly come and will not delay. Ammen. Let's pray,

Lord Jesus, thank you for today. Thank you for your

word that has come into our hearts. Lord, we pray

and ask for grace to be able to wait on

you and trust that whatever it is that you have

said concerning our lives to come to pass and will

come to pass at the rise time. Give us a

grace to wait patiently and trust you in Jesus' name. Amen. God,
