MGD: Trusting God in the Waiting

The Lord, our God. He is good and his messes

and jurious forever. Good morning, lovely one, and you're welcome

to today's morning glory devotion. Facilitating today's morning glory devotion

as Jessica a ho let's take aread of prayer. Lord,

he says, we thank you for today. We thank you

for another opportunity to hear your word re acts us.

You hope us to understand. And Jesus name amen, Yes,

can you take our confession? Joshua Chapter one, ver's eight,

Joshu one, that's eight. This book of the Law shall

not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate

in it day and night, that I may observe to

do according to all that is written in it. For

then I will make my reprosperous, and then I will

have good success. A man trusting God in the waiting.

Our first scripture, will you not be taken from gen

asisted seventh, verse five to eleven, and it says, one

night Joseph had a dream, and when he told his

brothers about it, they hated him more than ever. Listen

to this dream, he said, we were out in the

field tying up bundles of grain, Suddenly my bundle stood up,

and your bundles all gathered around and bowed go before mine.

His brothers responded, so you think you will.

Be our king? Do you do?

You actually think you'll reign over us?

And they hated.

Him all the more because of all his dreams and

the way he talked about them. Soon, Joseph had another dream,

and again he told his brothers about it. Listen, I

have had another dream, he said, The sun, moon, and

elevenstars bowed glow before me. This time he told the

dream to his father as well as his brothers, But

his father scolded him. What kind of dream is that?

He asked, Will your mother and I and your brothers

actually come and bow to the ground before you? But

while his brothers were jealous of Joseph, his father wondered

what the dreams meant.

In men our second scripture?

Will you not be taken from Genesis forty one Verstirty nine.

To forty three.

Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, since God has revealed the

meaning of the dreams to you, clearly, no one else

is as intelligent or as wise as you are. You

will be in charge of my coats, and all my

people will take others from me. Only I, sitting on

my tomb, will have a round higher than yours. Pharaoh

said to Joseph, I hear by put you in charge

of the entire land of Egypt. Then Pharaoh removed his

signet to ring from his hand and placed it on

Joseph's finger. He dressed him in fine link clothing and

hung a gold.

Chain around his neck.

Then he had Joseph right in the child with save

for his second in command, And wherever Joseph went, the

command was shouted. Kneel down to Pharaoh. Put Joseph in

charge of all of Egypt. In men, trusting God and

the waiting, there is a specific kind of weariness that

sets in when you are waiting on a promise from God.

It is a quiet ache of watching the days ten

onto mans, and the mans into years while nothing.

Seems to change you.

Pray you first, you hold onto the word spoken over

your life. Yet the silence from heaven feels incredibly heavy

in those long seasons. The enemy laughs to whispered a

devastating light into your ear.

God has forgotten you.

Joseph experienced along with as a young man, God gave

him dreams that one day he would be in the

position of prominence. Instead of immediately seeing those dreams fulfilled,

Joseph was betrayed by his brother, soaked into slavery, is

falsely accused and imprisoned for about thirteen years. His circumstances

appear on tracted God's promise, Yet God was working behind

the scenes in God's appointed time, Joseph was lifted from

prison to the palace and became governor of Egypt. Maybe

you are waiting for God to fulfill a word or

promise read over your life, but things aren't going exactly

how He's supposed to go. Maybe you are staying faithful

to remarriage that feels cold. You are praying for every

what child that seems to be drifting feather away. You

are holding onto a vision for your ministry or career,

but every door remains family shot. You are trusting God

for an academic opportunity or a good job, but it

feels that God is not working towards your promise and

everything seems slow. Do not mistake God's silence for his absence.

He is not being slow. He is being intentional. He's

working behind the scenes, preparing the ground and preparing you

for what is ahead. The obstacles in your path do

not mean the promise has expire. If the visioning gets today,

do not throw away your confidence.

Keep your eyes on God.

What he has written concerning your life will come to

pass exactly when it matters.

Most amen.

Our memory verse for today is taken from Hypacook two,

verse three. Though it's linger waits for it, it will

settling come and will not delay.

A man.

Let's take awad of prayer. Lord, she says, thank you

for your word that has come. We pray that you

will give us the grace and the strength to be

able to trust you and be able to wait on

you and believe that every word is spoken upon our

lives will come to pass in Jesus' mintaining a man.
