  1. The Lord, our God. He is good and his messes

  2. and jurious forever. Good morning, lovely one, and you're welcome

  3. to today's morning glory devotion. Facilitating today's morning glory devotion

  4. as Jessica a ho let's take aread of prayer. Lord,

  5. he says, we thank you for today. We thank you

  6. for another opportunity to hear your word re acts us.

  7. You hope us to understand. And Jesus name amen, Yes,

  8. can you take our confession? Joshua Chapter one, ver's eight,

  9. Joshu one, that's eight. This book of the Law shall

  10. not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate

  11. in it day and night, that I may observe to

  12. do according to all that is written in it. For

  13. then I will make my reprosperous, and then I will

  14. have good success. A man trusting God in the waiting.

  15. Our first scripture, will you not be taken from gen

  16. asisted seventh, verse five to eleven, and it says, one

  17. night Joseph had a dream, and when he told his

  18. brothers about it, they hated him more than ever. Listen

  19. to this dream, he said, we were out in the

  20. field tying up bundles of grain, Suddenly my bundle stood up,

  21. and your bundles all gathered around and bowed go before mine.

  22. His brothers responded, so you think you will.

  23. Be our king? Do you do?

  24. You actually think you'll reign over us?

  25. And they hated.

  26. Him all the more because of all his dreams and

  27. the way he talked about them. Soon, Joseph had another dream,

  28. and again he told his brothers about it. Listen, I

  29. have had another dream, he said, The sun, moon, and

  30. elevenstars bowed glow before me. This time he told the

  31. dream to his father as well as his brothers, But

  32. his father scolded him. What kind of dream is that?

  33. He asked, Will your mother and I and your brothers

  34. actually come and bow to the ground before you? But

  35. while his brothers were jealous of Joseph, his father wondered

  36. what the dreams meant.

  37. In men our second scripture?

  38. Will you not be taken from Genesis forty one Verstirty nine.

  39. To forty three.

  40. Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, since God has revealed the

  41. meaning of the dreams to you, clearly, no one else

  42. is as intelligent or as wise as you are. You

  43. will be in charge of my coats, and all my

  44. people will take others from me. Only I, sitting on

  45. my tomb, will have a round higher than yours. Pharaoh

  46. said to Joseph, I hear by put you in charge

  47. of the entire land of Egypt. Then Pharaoh removed his

  48. signet to ring from his hand and placed it on

  49. Joseph's finger. He dressed him in fine link clothing and

  50. hung a gold.

  51. Chain around his neck.

  52. Then he had Joseph right in the child with save

  53. for his second in command, And wherever Joseph went, the

  54. command was shouted. Kneel down to Pharaoh. Put Joseph in

  55. charge of all of Egypt. In men, trusting God and

  56. the waiting, there is a specific kind of weariness that

  57. sets in when you are waiting on a promise from God.

  58. It is a quiet ache of watching the days ten

  59. onto mans, and the mans into years while nothing.

  60. Seems to change you.

  61. Pray you first, you hold onto the word spoken over

  62. your life. Yet the silence from heaven feels incredibly heavy

  63. in those long seasons. The enemy laughs to whispered a

  64. devastating light into your ear.

  65. God has forgotten you.

  66. Joseph experienced along with as a young man, God gave

  67. him dreams that one day he would be in the

  68. position of prominence. Instead of immediately seeing those dreams fulfilled,

  69. Joseph was betrayed by his brother, soaked into slavery, is

  70. falsely accused and imprisoned for about thirteen years. His circumstances

  71. appear on tracted God's promise, Yet God was working behind

  72. the scenes in God's appointed time, Joseph was lifted from

  73. prison to the palace and became governor of Egypt. Maybe

  74. you are waiting for God to fulfill a word or

  75. promise read over your life, but things aren't going exactly

  76. how He's supposed to go. Maybe you are staying faithful

  77. to remarriage that feels cold. You are praying for every

  78. what child that seems to be drifting feather away. You

  79. are holding onto a vision for your ministry or career,

  80. but every door remains family shot. You are trusting God

  81. for an academic opportunity or a good job, but it

  82. feels that God is not working towards your promise and

  83. everything seems slow. Do not mistake God's silence for his absence.

  84. He is not being slow. He is being intentional. He's

  85. working behind the scenes, preparing the ground and preparing you

  86. for what is ahead. The obstacles in your path do

  87. not mean the promise has expire. If the visioning gets today,

  88. do not throw away your confidence.

  89. Keep your eyes on God.

  90. What he has written concerning your life will come to

  91. pass exactly when it matters.

  92. Most amen.

  93. Our memory verse for today is taken from Hypacook two,

  94. verse three. Though it's linger waits for it, it will

  95. settling come and will not delay.

  96. A man.

  97. Let's take awad of prayer. Lord, she says, thank you

  98. for your word that has come. We pray that you

  99. will give us the grace and the strength to be

  100. able to trust you and be able to wait on

  101. you and believe that every word is spoken upon our

  102. lives will come to pass in Jesus' mintaining a man.

  103. Thank you so much for joining in today's morning glory devotion.

  104. I hope you've been blessed. See you same time tomorrow

  105. for another edifying episode.
