MGD: What Is in Your Hands Today?

Let's kindly share a word of prayer. Heavenly Father, we

give you all the glory. We worship you with blushe.

We adore you as we humble ourselves this morning to

listen to your word open. I had a mind to

receive your wisdom. In Jesus's name, we pray a man

will take a confession from Joshua one eight. This book

of the law shall not depart out of my mouth.

But I shall meditate in the day and night that

I may observe to do according to all that is

written in me. For then I shall make my way prosperous,

and then I shall have good success. Amen, beloved. The

topic for today's devotion is what is in your hands today?

Taking from Marthe twenty five forteen to thirty, and I

read from the King James version for the Kingdom of

Heaven is as a man traveling into a fur country,

who called his own servants and delivered unto them his

gools and onto one he gave five talents, and to

another two to another one to every man according to

his several appilities, and straightway took his journey. Then he

that had received five talents went and traded weather say,

and made them other five talents. But he that had

received one went and dick in the heat and hid

his lord's money. After a long time, the lord of

those sevents come meth and reconnected with them. And so

he that had received five talents came and brought other

five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliverst onto me five talents. Behold,

I have gained beside them five talents more. His Lord

set on him, well done, thou, good and faithful. Seven

thou had been faithful over a few things. I will

make thee rule out over many things enter down into

the joy of the Lord. And also he that have

received two talents came and said, Lord, thou delivererst onto

me two talents. Behold, I have gained towarder talent beside them.

His Lord set on him, well done, good and faithful,

seven thou have been faithful over a few things. I

will make thee reel over many things entered down into

the joy of the Lord. Then he always had received

the one talent, came and said, Lord, I know thee

thou at an hard man, ripping where that had not soon,

and gathering where thou had no straw. And so I

was afraid, and I went and hit the talent in

the head. Law there thou hast that is dying. His

Lord answered and said, unto that wicked and slot for seven,

thou knowest that I reap where I sould not, gathered

where I have no stroud. Thou ought therefore to have

put my money to the exchanges, and then at my

coming I should have reached my own way. Usury onto

everyone that has shall be given, and he shall have

abandance from him that had not shall be taken away,

even that which he had and cast hid the unprofitable

servant into outer that list there shall be weeping and

nashing of it.

Amen, what is in your hand today, beloved? Ask Christians.

It is very easy to look at our lives on

an ordinary morning and feel that we simply do not

have enough to make a difference. We look at our

modest savings a limited time or are quiet talent, and

compare ourselves to those who seem to possess boundless ability

and influence. We slip into the habit of waiting until

we have more money, more strength, monolage, or a better position,

before we finally decide to be useful to go. But

what if the Lord were to speak to your how

today and acts? What have we done with what I

have already given him? What will your honest answer be?

This very question lies at the heart of the power

of the talent Marthew twenty five. Before going on our

long journey, the Master entrusted his wealth to three seven

to only gave five talents to another, two than to another,

one each according to his ability. When the Master returned,

he did not compare the servants when one another. He

did not ask the sevant with two talent why he

had not produced it. His concent was much simpler. Were

you faithful with what I entrusted to you? Both the

servant who received five talent and the one who received

two talents put their gifts to work, and both received

the same commendation, Well done, their good and faithful servant.

The third seventh, however, allowed fear to paralyze him. He

did not lose their talent, nor did he waste it. Recklessly. Instead,

he buried it in the ground and did nothing with it.

Many believers live exactly like that, Ted Sevant. We bury

our gift because we think they are too small to matter.

We convince ourselves that our contribution is insignificant. If you

are young, you may feel you need to wait until

you are older before God can use you. If you

are raising a family, you may feel that daily responsibilities

leave little room for meaningful service. Others may believe they

need more resources, more opportunities, or better circumstances before they

can make an impact. Yet God never access us for

what we do not have. He access us to be

faithful stewards of what is already in our hands at time.

Our abilities are resources, are words of encouragement, and even

the small opportunity places before us each day. One day,

every one of us will stand before the Lord take

give an account. On that day, he will not ask

how much we wish to be had. He will not

measure us to gain someone else's gift or opportunities. Instead,

he will look at a portion he entrusted to us

and asks what we did with it? What is in

your hand today? Whatever it is, do not bury it,

use it for God's glory, Be faithful with what he

has given him, and trust him with the result. Amen,

we'll take our memory raised from Matthew twenty five, verse

twenty one. And I read his Lord said unto him,

well done, that gold and faithful servant that has been

faithful over a few things. I'll make the ruler over

many things. A then, believerless, kindly share a word of prayer. Father,

in the mighty name of Jesus, Thank you for your

word that has come today. Thank you that you don't

measure us by what others have, but by our faithfulness

with what you've already placed in our hands. Open our

eyes to see they gives time and opportunities we have

been overlooking. Give us courage to use them today they

seem small. Help us not to bear what you've entrusted

to us out of fear or comparison. Help us to

live that one day we will hear well done, good

and faithful servants in Jesus name. Amen, Thank you, beloved

and God wishly bless you for staying through with us.
