  1. Salom, a wonderful family, and welcome to today's morning glory devotion.

  2. My name is Joshua from her best Chapo International Commercy,

  3. and it is a privilege to be facilitating today's morning

  4. glory devotion. Please, let's pray, Father Wei, thank you for

  5. your goodness and kindness towards us. Lord, we pray and

  6. commit our time and your word this morning into your hands.

  7. Please prodole us, refresh us, and empower us. Please cause

  8. your light to shine on our hearts and lives through

  9. your word, and transform us in the name of Jesus,

  10. with pravidence given.

  11. Amen.

  12. Please just take a conversion from Joshua, chapter one, verse eight. Joshua,

  13. Chapter one, verse eight. This book of the Law shall

  14. not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate

  15. in it to day and night, that I may observe

  16. to do according to all that is written in it. Well,

  17. then I will make my way prosperous, and then I

  18. will have good success.

  19. Amen.

  20. Today's discussion begins a three part series titled Eternal Investments.

  21. Eternal Investments, The series will be focused on how we

  22. can lay up treasures for ourselves in heaven, as admonished.

  23. By our Lord Jesus Christ.

  24. Our focurse today will be to learn about the qualifications

  25. we need in order to lay up treasures for ourselves

  26. in heaven. Our scripture reading today will be from Marthive

  27. chapter six, from verse nineteen to verse twenty one. Marthew

  28. chapter six, verse nineteen to verse twenty one, reading from

  29. the New King James version. It says, do not lay

  30. up for yourselves treasures on earth, where mouth and rust destroy,

  31. and where thieves break in and steal, But lay up

  32. for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys,

  33. and where thieves do not break in and steal. For

  34. where your treasure is there, your heart will be also.

  35. Amen, Beloved.

  36. Investments are good, There's no two ways about it. With

  37. a little bit of financial literacy, you will realize that

  38. the question isn't about whether to invest or not, but

  39. about where to invest, Because just as there are profitable investments,

  40. there are also profitless investments, and beyond that, there are

  41. investments that can eat down your capital to zero.

  42. In today's scripture.

  43. Reading, our Lord disays tells us about the two ultimate

  44. places where investments can be placed, on earth and in heaven.

  45. He goes ahead to tell us that early investments, or

  46. the treasures will lay up for ourselves on earth, will

  47. eventually be destroyed and lost, but heaven investments, or the

  48. treasures will lay up for ourselves in heaven, will be

  49. preserved and are eternal. So we, Beloved, giving these two options,

  50. where would you want to lay up your treasures? I'm

  51. sure we would all want our treasures or investments to

  52. be preserved in eternal So maybe the more relevant question

  53. is how exactly do we lay up treasuous in heaven? Well, Beloved,

  54. God has given capital to each one of us in

  55. the forms of time, treasure, and talent, and it is

  56. with this capital that you make investments or lay the

  57. treasures that our Lord Jesus refers to whether these investments

  58. are ethly investments or heavenly investments, Beloved, fortunately or unfortunately,

  59. the option of laying up treasures for yourself in heaven

  60. is a privilege you can only have if you are

  61. first and foremost a citizen of Heaven or a citizen

  62. of God's kingdom. Without being a child of God or

  63. being born again, you would have no right to lay

  64. up treasureus in heaven. Just like you cannot start investing

  65. with a financial institution without first registring and opening an

  66. account with them. You cannot have an eternal investment in

  67. heaven if you are not first born again into God's family.

  68. I was su Poor sheds light on this in his

  69. first letter to the Corinthian Church in First Corinthians, chapter fifteen,

  70. from verse forty five to fifty three, he says, the

  71. scriptures tell us the first man, Adam, became a living person,

  72. but the last Adam, that is Christ, is a life

  73. giving spirit. What comes first is the natural body, then

  74. the spiritual body comes later. Adam the first man, was

  75. made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the

  76. second man, came from heaven. Earthly people are like the

  77. earthly man, and heavenly people are like the heavenly man.

  78. Just as we are now like the eathly man, we

  79. will someday be like the heavenly man. What I am saying,

  80. dear brothers and sisters, is that our fiscal bodies cannot

  81. inherit the Kingdom of God. These dying bodies cannot inherit

  82. what will last forever. But let me reveal to you

  83. a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we

  84. will all be transformed. It will happen in a moment,

  85. in the blank of an eye, when the last trumpet

  86. is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have

  87. died will be raised to live forever, and we who

  88. are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies

  89. must be transformed into bodies that will never die. Our

  90. motal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies.

  91. Amen. So, beloved, do you.

  92. Have the qualifications to lay upgradeous in heaven the fiscal

  93. podic we have now are dying, I will pass away

  94. and therefore cannot inherit that which is internal. But do

  95. you have that guarantee that when the trumpet sounds, even

  96. if you are dead, you will be raised to life.

  97. Once again and live forever.

  98. And if you are still living, your dying body will

  99. be consummed into a body that will never die. Beloved,

  100. Praise be to God. If you have this assurance, and

  101. if you are not sure, if you have this qualification,

  102. it's not too late. Today you can make that decision

  103. to give your life to Christ, receive the pardon that

  104. it makes available, invites Him into your heart, and become

  105. a child of God. And as citizen of his kingdom.

  106. All it takes is a sin. Sincere prayer, and you

  107. will have the gift of eternal life and the qualifications

  108. to lay up treasures to yourself in heaven.

  109. Amen.

  110. Please, let's the camemory verse from Mathew, verse twenty Matthew

  111. Chapter six, verse twenty. But lit up for yourselves treasures

  112. in heaven where neither mouth nor rust destroys, and where.

  113. Thieves do not break in and steal. Amen. Please, let's pray. Father.

  114. We thank you for your word that has come to

  115. us today.

  116. We thank you for the privilege to be called your children,

  117. and for the assurance and peace that you make available

  118. to us. Because we are yours, Lord, we pray for

  119. those who are yet to come into your food, that

  120. your grace and message will find them. Lord, touch their

  121. hearts and shine the light of your understanding on them,

  122. that they may come to know the saving knowledge of

  123. your word. To this day, Lord, we pray that your

  124. holy Spirit will lead and guide each one of us

  125. as we learn to lay up treasures for ourselves in

  126. heaven in the name of Jesus Grief, thanksgiving. Amen, Thank

  127. you for listening, and stay tuned for more Spirit fueled

  128. content on Radio HCI today. Please join us at the

  129. same time as we continue on our discussion in this

  130. series by looking at some practical ways we can lay

  131. up treasures for ourselves in heaven.

  132. Do stay blessed,
