  6. word of prayer. Dear Lord Jesus, thank you so much

  7. for today. As we look into your word, we pray

  8. that you review yourself to us and transform us by

  9. your word in Jesus Mighty name. Amen, Yet us take

  10. a confession from Joshua chapter one, verse eight. This book

  11. of the Law shall not depart out of my mouth,

  12. but I shall meditate in it day and night, that

  13. I may observe to do according to all that is

  14. written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous,

  15. and then I will have good success in May. The

  16. theme for this morning's devotion is Lessons from the Life

  17. of Joseph, Part one, Silent Trust, Certain Testimony, Lessons from

  18. the Life of Joseph Part one Silent Trust, Certain Testimony,

  19. and our scripture reading will be from Genesis chapter thirty nine,

  20. verse one and two. Genesis Chapter thirty nine, Verse one

  21. and two pleaser be reading from the New Living Translation.

  22. When Joseph was taken to Egypt by the Ishmaelite treaties,

  23. he was purchased by Potiphar, an Egyptian officer. Potiphar was

  24. captain of the God of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt.

  25. The Lord was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything

  26. he did as he served in the home of his

  27. Egyptian master, A man.

  28. Lessons from the life of Joseph at one Silent trust,

  29. certain testimony. Joseph was just seventeen years old when his

  30. world collapsed. Out of no fault of his own. His

  31. brothers threw him into a pit and then sowed him

  32. into slavery. There was no trial, no explanation. One day

  33. he was the favored son. The next day he was

  34. property in chains, headed to a foreign land he did

  35. not choose. He had just been shown into a season

  36. of intense tests, trials, and tribulations. The dreams God gave

  37. him back home suddenly looked completely dead. Yet right in

  38. the middle of that pain. Genesis thirty nine. The verse

  39. two highlighted the one thing that changed everything. The Lord

  40. was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything he did

  41. as he served in the home of his Egyptian master.

  42. That was what made the difference. It's important to note

  43. that scripture records no complaints from Joseph. He didn't cares

  44. his brothers, he didn't argue with ptifier. He surrendered to

  45. God's sovereignty and simply stepped into the assignments right in

  46. front of him. He chose to silently trust God over

  47. defending himself. Usually, when we are overwhelmed by challenges, we

  48. attempted to demand answers. We want to scream why. But

  49. Joseph teaches us that sometimes faith sounds like quiet trust.

  50. It says God, I don't understand why all this is happening,

  51. but I know you are with me, precious one. You

  52. may find yourself certainly going through a season of loss, betrayal,

  53. or circumstances entirely beyond your control. You might not be

  54. able to wrap your mind around the why. But we

  55. know the God in home we can put our trust.

  56. He promised that in Isaiah forty three Rivers two, that

  57. when you pass through the waters, the rivers, and the fires,

  58. he will be with you. They will not overwhelm me.

  59. So please don't lose your grip on God. Hold onto

  60. his presence more tightly than you hold onto your questions.

  61. And while you are waiting, don't let your circumstances paralyze you.

  62. Keep saving God faithfully with your time, your talents, and

  63. your treasures. Rite where you are. When the Lord is

  64. with you, strength comes for today and success comes for tomorrow.

  65. Your silent trust and your faithful service today would definitely

  66. pay off. It is the seed of your testimony tomorrow.

  67. Amen that us can you take our memory verse from

  68. Genesis chapter thirty nine, that's true. Genesis chapter thirty nine.

  69. That's true. The Lord was with Joseph, so he succeeded

  70. in everything he did as he said in the home

  71. of his Egyptian master. Amen, shall we pray I have

  72. any Father? We thank you so much for your word

  73. this morning. We pray that in moments when we do

  74. not understand what may be happening around us, that your

  75. presence will be with us, and your presence will be

  76. enough for us to keep us going. In Jesus might

  77. name pray. Amen, God bless you dear one for staying

  78. through our morning glory devotion Today join us again, same

  79. time tomorrow morning for part two of this series, Lessons

  80. from the Life of Joseph. Until then, stay tuned and
