  16. Life of Joseph Part two Diligence Brings Promotion. Lessons from

  17. the Life of Joseph Part two Diligence Brings promotion and

  18. our scripture reading will be from Genesis chapter thirty nine,

  19. verse two to four. Genesis chapter thirty nine, verse two

  20. to four, I'll be reading from the New Living Translation.

  21. The Lord was with Joseph, so he succeeded in everything

  22. he did as he served in the home of his

  23. Egyptian master. Potiphon noticed this and realized that the Lord

  24. was with Joseph, giving him success in everything he did.

  25. This pleased Potiphar, so he soon made Joseph his personal attendant.

  26. He put him in charge of his entire household and

  27. everything he owned the word of the Lord, Thanks be

  28. to God.

  29. Lessons from the Life of Joseph Part two. Diligence brings promotion.

  30. We often imagine Joseph's journey as a quick leap straight

  31. from the pit to the palace, but between those two

  32. massive moments were years of quiet, diligence, and hard work

  33. in a place he never chose. Though he was far

  34. from home, stripped off his dreams, and working for a

  35. man who did not share his faith, Joseph did not

  36. sink into despair or laziness. Instead, he showed up every

  37. single day with diligence and integrity. His work ethic was

  38. so undeniable that his master Potifier, a pagan Egyptian officer,

  39. reached one clear conclusion. God is with this young man,

  40. precious one in a day to day marketplace, sojournings, how

  41. are we honoring God? How do we approach a daily

  42. tasks and assignment at work? Do we go out them

  43. with diligence and integrity? How are we contributing to the

  44. success of the places we work? Potifer did not promote

  45. Joseph out of sympathy. He promoted him because Joseph's faithful

  46. management made his whole household thrive in God's kingdom. Faithfulness

  47. in small things always comes before authority in bigger things.

  48. Looked after sixteen, Verse ten reminds us if you are

  49. faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones.

  50. Diligence has a way of speaking. It catches the attention

  51. of the people around you, and more importantly, it catches

  52. the attention of God. When you bloom right away you

  53. have been planted. God notices, and when God notices, he

  54. starts opening doors that no human being can close. Collusions

  55. three twenty three says work with all your heart as

  56. working for the Lord, not for human masters. So whatever

  57. assignment is in your hands today, at your job, in

  58. your home, in church, or in your community, handle it

  59. like it belongs.

  60. To God.

  61. Do it with all your heart, see it as an

  62. opportunity to save him. Work faithfully at it. Your diligence

  63. and integrity today are paving the way for your motion tomorrow. Amen,

  64. let us kindly take our memory verse from Collusions three

  65. twenty three from the Nalt. Work willingly at whatever you

  66. do as though you were working for the Lord rather

  67. than for people. Work willingly at whatever you do as

  68. though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Amen.

  69. Shall we pray a heavenly Father will thank you so

  70. much for your ware this morning. Be continue to pray

  71. for grace that everything I hands find doing will do

  72. it as though we were working for you and not

  73. for men. In Jesus might name. We pray. Amen, God,

  74. bless you, dear One, for staying through our money, glory

  75. devotion today. Join us again tomorrow same time for part

  76. three of this series Lesson from the Life of Joseph.
