Welcome to today's episode of the Morning Glory Devotion. This is sorry,

a privilege to be facilitating today's edition. Please let us

share a word of prayer.

Fat I thank you for the wonderful privilege to gather

together at your feet to listen to your word. Please

open our eyes and let us see one gross things

out of word in Jesus' might name. Amen.

Amen. Now let us take our confession from Josh chapter one,

verse eight. This book of the Laws shall not depart

out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in it

day and night, that I may observe to do according

to all that is written in it. Well, then I'll

make my way prosperous, and then I'll have good success. Amen.

Amen.

Our Bible reading texts for today shall be taken from

Roman's chapter eight, verse thirty two and Esther chapter five, vers.

Thirty three.

Romans eight thirty two. He who did not spare his

own son, but gave him up for us all, how

will he not also with him graciously give us all

things five to three. Then the King asked, what is

bothering you? Queen Esther? What do you want to ask me?

I will give you anything you ask for, even half

my kingdom. Amen.

Amen. Today's episode of the Morning Glory Devotion has been

titled Comfort and Encouragement Part two. Comfort and Encouragement Part two.

The subtitle is Oh how he loves me, Oh How

he loves me? Have you ever fantasized about what it

would be like for a powerful and wealthy and good

willing benefactor to grant you a blank check of favors.

Maybe you'll make a donation to your church. You could

get out of debt and retire your aging parents. Your

business could use a fresh injection of fans. Your fees

would now be paid, and you could finally afford to

set down with your beloved. Maybe the strain on your

family would finally be lifted and family life would be

pleasant again. Perhaps you'll do some good in a community,

help rehabilitate delinquents, sponsor a needy students, and bring solace

to widows. But could realistically expect even remotely to live

out this fantasy? Where would one find such a benefactor

and how compelling will be his reasons to be so

graciously disposed towards us. Throughout human history, people have expressed

their goodwill, affection, and devotion to others by an eager

willingness to be store favors and to part with something vulnerable.

There have been many benefactors like this, like the one

we fantasize about. What may seem like fantasy is stilled

in real human experience. Some people have lived it both

in our days and in ancient times, and there is

an invitation hoping for us to join in. In the Bible,

for instance, a story is told about a Jewish orphan

named Rdassa in the capital of the ancient Passian Empire

during the reign of Jess the First. She rose from

obscurity to become the queen of the entire empire, and

Dasa became queen esther. She enjoyed so much goodwill, devotion,

and affection in her life, particularly from the king. On

three different occasions, the king pledged to willfully pat with

up to half of his domain if a scawed to

ask for it. It is no wonder that she could

freely ask for the heads of the enemies of her people.

The king by a decree empowered the Jews, who had

been marked for death, to defend themselves and to do

with their enemies what they pleased, And so in a

matter of days they have total victory over their enemies.

If the king would freely part with half of his kingdom,

would he not permit the troubling of the enemies of

his queen. Now let us for a moment look away

from the citadel in Susa towards the Hill of Calvary

in Israel. There, an infinitely greater king demonstrated his compelling

love and favorable disposition towards his servants by giving up

the life of his only son for the years. God

the Father gave up Jesus, who was holy without sin

and imperfect submission to his will, to die shamefully and

painfully on a cross in the place of corrupt, sinful,

and natterally rebellious subjects. He did this just so that

he may reconcile them to himself. It is in the

light of this that they are possible caused us to

reason with him, this God will give up his son

is uniquely begotten son, the heir of all things, and

the express image of his glory for us will he

not also freely give us all things pattern with his

son was the loftiest expression of goodwill and devotion to us. Oh,

what love he has for us. Nothing, not death, life, principalities,

or powers in this world or the world to come,

in the deep below or the heavens above, can separate

us from it. And so, brothers and sisters in Christ.

None that we like Esther are no longer Offhans. None

that we are his bride. None that the king has

held out his scepter to us and has given up

the very sense of his kingdom for our sake. None

that we know that his soul loves us. Let each

one of us come boldly before he's thrown and ask

ask for help, Ask for mercy, for strength, and for wisdom.

Ask for the battle to be tenned in your favor,

and ask for total victory. He will graciously do it

for you. He will be this gracious to you because

of how much he loves you. Amen. Amen, Let us

Amen, let us pray thank you Father for your word

to us today. We are glad that since you have

already given up your sun for us, we can expect

to receive from you everything we are petitioning you for today.

Here our hearts and do to us according to your

word in Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Amen, beloved, thank you
