  1. How God anointed Jesus of Nazarene with the Holy spirit

  2. and with power, who went about doing good and healing

  3. all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was

  4. with him, Salem Beloved. This is another wonderful morning by

  5. God's grace. We are grateful to God for his gifts

  6. of life. My lovely husband and I from the Harvest

  7. Shappel International Nyamiko Marsi. I'm happy to be facilitating today's

  8. episode of Morning Glory Devotion on Radio HCI. Today. Please

  9. let's pray ever faithful Father, thank you for renewed messes

  10. for today. We are glad to start our day at

  11. your free steady in your word. Teach us today and

  12. grant us understanding in the much less name of Jesus. Amen. Amen,

  13. Let's kindly take a confession from josh chapter one, verse eight.

  14. Joshua chapter one, verse eight. This book of the Law.

  15. Shall not depart from my mouth, but I shall meditate

  16. a next day and night that I may observe to

  17. do according to all that is written in it. For

  18. then I'll make my way prosperous, and then I will

  19. have good success. Amen.

  20. Our thing for study today is doing good part two,

  21. Doing Good Part two. Scripture reading shall be taken from

  22. Galicians Chapter six Ver's nine to ten. Galicians, Chapter six

  23. Ver's nine to ten. I will be reading from the

  24. New King James version. And let us not go weary

  25. while doing good, for in due season we shall reap

  26. if we do not lose heart. Therefore, as we have opportunity,

  27. let us do good to all, especially to those who

  28. are of the household of faith. The Lord add his

  29. blessings to the reading of his word. Thanks be to God, Amen, Amen.

  30. Doing Good Part two, Doing Good Part two. In our

  31. last episode, we saw that doing good willingly, passionately, and

  32. with love on thing in all circumstances does not come easy. However,

  33. by looking at Acts chapter ten the verse thirty eight,

  34. we realize that we can only be as good as

  35. Jesus if we receive the power of doing good that

  36. comes from the Father. The question next is what happens

  37. after that power or grace to do good has been

  38. made available to us by the Holy Spirit. This will

  39. be our area of focus in this second episode of

  40. doing Good. In order to appropriate the power of good

  41. deeds made available to us, we must first start by

  42. seeking opportunities to do good. All around us there are

  43. several opportunities to do good. If we go out purpose

  44. fully seeking opportunities to do good, the Holy Spirit will

  45. help us find them. They are all around us. Indeed, however,

  46. it is only those who seek them passionately that will

  47. find them. To the one who seeks them not, he

  48. hardly sees the needs in the lives of others, and

  49. even when he does, he sees no wrong with them.

  50. To him, what is wrong with an aged man standing

  51. on the bus, or a brother in worn out shoes,

  52. or a sister wearing the same clothes every Sunday. They

  53. are just but another topic for gossip or discussion with others.

  54. If we do not go seeking, we will never be

  55. prompted by the Holy Spirit of the opportunities to do good.

  56. After the Holy Spirit has made us aware of the

  57. needs in the lives of the people that surround us,

  58. the next step is to move in action as long

  59. as it brings it to our attention. Notes that he

  60. is prompting us to do something about that situation. Yes,

  61. the least we can do is to pray about it.

  62. But more often than not, when the Holy Spirit brings

  63. these promptings of our way, and it is because we and him

  64. know very well that we can do more than just

  65. pray about it. He would have provided us with the

  66. means to meet that need. Let us not go praying

  67. when we know and have what to actually give to

  68. address that need. Remember that if we always consider our

  69. needs first before that of others, we will never have

  70. enough to pass on to others. And so, being prompted

  71. of the action to do in addressing and need, let

  72. us simply obey. The power to do good is best

  73. appropriated in the confines of obedience. Without obedience, the power

  74. to do good will just be latent and inactive, lacking

  75. the evidence of its existence. Our obedience to the prompts

  76. of the Holy Spirit should be complete and wholesome. In

  77. other words, it should be done in the manner he prescribes,

  78. and at the time of his choosing. We sometimes, for

  79. various reasons, fail to completely obey these promptents, missing one

  80. or both. If he asks us to give it in secret,

  81. let us do so and make no public show of it.

  82. If it requests that we give a certain quantum, let's

  83. not change it for any reason. Also, let us not

  84. miss out on the timing of his choosing good done

  85. late is often no good at all. When we contemplate

  86. too long before doing good deeds, our intentions gradually drift

  87. from doing it all to the glory of God, to

  88. doing it based on what we will gain when it

  89. is in our power to give. Now, let us never postpone.

  90. And so as we begin our day, let us seek

  91. opportunities to do good, and by the help of the

  92. Holy Spirit, when we find them, let us act on them.

  93. And while we act on them, let us make sure

  94. we do so in the manner he prescribes and at

  95. the timing of his treason. Let us never postpone doing

  96. good when we can do it now. God richly bless you.

  97. Let us kind of take our memory verse for today.

  98. Our memory versus shall be taken from Proverbs such as

  99. three the verses twenty seven and twenty eight Proverbs three

  100. the verses twenty seven and twenty eight. I shall be

  101. reading from the New King James version. Do not withhold

  102. good from those to whom it is due, when it

  103. is in the power of your hand to do so.

  104. Do not say to your neighbor, go and come back

  105. and to morrow I will give it when you have

  106. it with you do not withhold good from those to

  107. whom it is due, when it is in the power

  108. of your hand to do so. Do not say to

  109. your neighbor, go and come back and to morrow I

  110. will give it when you have it with you. Amen.

  111. Let us candly share a word of prayer. Good Father,

  112. we are blessed because of the understanding you have given

  113. us this morning. Thank you for teaching us what it

  114. means to be good and how to appropriate the power

  115. you have given to us. Receive grace to go out

  116. seeking opportunities to do good and acting on them in

  117. complete obedience in Jesus's mighty name.

  118. Amen, Precious one, let us remember to daily sick opportunities

  119. to do good and in obedience follow it by action

  120. done in his time. Amen. Amen, thank you for staying

  121. tune to Radio ACI today. There's more to come your way.

  122. Keep your dolls right here. By godsh grace. We will

  123. come your way again with another episode of Morning Glory Devotion,

  124. same time tomorrow morning. Until then, God richly bless you

  125. and have a blessed day.

  126. Shalom.
