  10. God richly loves you.

  11. Welcome to the logo streamer are with God savant Reverend

  12. Doctor Joseph Being, head Pastor of Harvest Chapel International Commercy.

  13. And now to today's message.

  14. Let's take our conversion before we take our seats from

  15. Joshua one verse eight spoke of the Law shall on

  16. depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in

  17. it today at night, that I may observe to do

  18. according to all that is written in it.

  19. But then I will make my way prosperous, and then

  20. I will have good success in Jesus' name. Amen, why

  21. don't you take your seats, open your bibles with me

  22. to the Gospel of Luke turn the eleven where we

  23. find our uncle Scripture for the Man and were going

  24. to examine or in our prayer lives handed low here

  25. as I said earlier, and a lot of us are

  26. not praying, and we are not praying.

  27. We are just reciting our prayers. Why simply because the

  28. connection is not there. The connection is not there. When

  29. the connection is not there, you can't you will recite

  30. your prayers because when you come before God, you're based

  31. on what's the authority in which you must be granted

  32. the hearing in the course of Eavy. You are not

  33. the child that's no seal of the only Spirit in you.

  34. I'm sure the angels crowd will ask you how did

  35. you get here? And they will work you out how

  36. they do it and say, my friend, you bring a

  37. Bay protocol. The only way is reasoning why we allow

  38. and carry your prayers before the throne of the only,

  39. potent and omnission God, is that you we must see

  40. and recognize the seal of God in your life, the

  41. Holy Spirit. Else you'll just be contented with, you know,

  42. just reciting your prayer. But God doesn't just want he say,

  43. God is so merciful, that is why we must bring

  44. order or that is that get born again. First, get

  45. the seal of the Holy Spirit, and then we are God.

  46. We are ready to go in conversation. But if he's

  47. not there, who are you to demand the audience with

  48. the King of glory? Who are you? Hallelujah? Amen? The

  49. connection is often is not there on No, Ma two,

  50. we are disconnected from God. That's when we are back sliding.

  51. And then with this, I don't have time. Who told

  52. you don't have time? You have time twenty four good hours.

  53. You have a lot of time to appushing a secting

  54. segment five minutes, ten minutes, fifteen minutes, twenty ten minutes

  55. to God in prayer. You're busy all day? No that

  56. lunch break, hallelujah Amen, not washroom break that time you

  57. say that so you realize that is when you understand

  58. these things. Yes, everybody's busy life is, but you redeem

  59. the type. You even get there. You even get there

  60. in the morning. You rise up in the morning, Ellen

  61. in the money, in the money, I will rise and

  62. praise the Lord. Oh my God, the only sprain will

  63. just deposit the song in you. That's why it's so

  64. important to the believer's life, and wherever there is saying,

  65. the only spirit cannot dwelt there. That's why I'm saying

  66. that most of us are disconnected with God. We are

  67. not admitting it. Is it a thing about God, this

  68. Christian life. Those of us who stand here, all of us,

  69. all of us who.

  70. Ultimately will make it.

  71. It is not because we will never stand but will

  72. never will never say no. But we have learned that

  73. from the secret about the nature of God, the mercifulness

  74. of God, the messes of God. There by day says

  75. there I knew every morning, and we tap into that resource.

  76. And you know he picks us up from the marrycle

  77. He's a righteous man, shall fall seven times, but God

  78. is always present with the helping her. I said, son,

  79. you can't meet it. You have mandy to yourself. Rise up,

  80. I'm going to help you. You think I've never seen before.

  81. Not that is what will disqualify me from standing here.

  82. But it's because I've received and tasted of the messes

  83. of God in stumbling and falling and being lifted out

  84. of the merry clay and set upon the rock. That

  85. is why I can come here and I can tell

  86. you and instruct you. Now we save a messyful God

  87. who will help us. The Bible says, it's not on consent,

  88. but our frailities and our imperfections. No, but why I

  89. will learn to if you like, access that grace of

  90. God so that we don't backslide. That is the difference

  91. between those who are making it in humility and those

  92. who in prideful things that I don't need God, You

  93. don't need God. Halln Lujah. Lots of believers are not pray, loss,

  94. are not pre They are just reciting some prayers. As

  95. I said, wrong connections or the nation is not dead

  96. or it was once upon a time day disconnected, wrong

  97. or non existent foundations. That's what I talked about the

  98. covenant relationship. God is not your dat He doesn't know them.

  99. And that's that. It's not you saying that you know

  100. God because you are rest something know the encounters the

  101. personal revelation. God is a spirit, he says, and he

  102. desired to be known. He says there that worship him

  103. must worship him.

  104. In spirit and in truth.

  105. In truth. If you don't know him, you get the

  106. information and you do what the Word of God says.

  107. The APCs renouncaying be genuine and sayce here cry out.

  108. He said, whatsoever a call upon the name of the

  109. Lord shall be saved.

  110. You hear the.

  111. Claims of God upon your life, and you know that

  112. there is an offer of pardon, remission, cleansing, and then strengthening.

  113. You take advantage of it and say, God, Yeah, I

  114. am I'm a sinner. I am a candidate for your grace.

  115. I need your help. I've just been wandering around this way.

  116. I don't know my purpose. I am lost. I am lost.

  117. The certain thing is to be in church that you

  118. are lost.

  119. And because most of us are coming from religious background,

  120. that's it. And since I was telling me and he says,

  121. it's it. And as we're having a I said, now

  122. you tell me what is the problem. What is the problem?

  123. He said, I don't know God. I don't know God.

  124. I don't know God because my knowledge of Him is

  125. all about supply, supply supplies. And I look at my

  126. family and he's not supplying. Why does my parents have

  127. to work hard? Heart hat I've seen them following God.

  128. I've said.

  129. Every morning we are waking up, we are doing money devotion,

  130. and then when we come home there's nothing in the house,

  131. So where is the God? So in my heart he said,

  132. I'm disconnected because God is supprised, supposed to be a supply.

  133. He's no supply, no shoe, no bread on the table.

  134. So a lot of us have drifted away. There's no

  135. relationship with God. We are not recognized in the heavens

  136. as children of God or citizens of the Kingdom. And

  137. I believe that one of the things that we need

  138. to learn is that look, anytime that you're examine your

  139. faith walk with God and you find that they are cracks,

  140. they are imperfection, never ever blame. But God is blameless

  141. God never since It's a very, very very important that

  142. you and I we have to it's going to bring

  143. a lot of grace and humanity to us when we

  144. recognize that God doesn't any time that we find out

  145. that our Christian life is not working, the prayers are

  146. not being answered all all of them. I will engage

  147. some students, a group of students and were we're talking,

  148. and there's this I'm sure it was new and then

  149. so I threw out them and should I see an equation?

  150. I said, and can we maybe we maybe we can

  151. also do that exercise can we look at our prayer

  152. lives since you were born again? You know, it's just

  153. a rough something. All the prayers and Christ remember what

  154. I just said. I said, the prayers they are answered.

  155. There's a shelf or answer prayers or unanswered prayers or

  156. wait and answer. So I said, can we all roughly

  157. just can of mine since you got born again? All

  158. the prayers that you have pray, what proportion would you

  159. say have been answered? You know? Yes? And then on

  160. answered prayers? You know. So we're a group, we're doing

  161. the Bible steady, and so as we're going around, and

  162. then some we say, thirty percent of all my prayer discourses,

  163. God answered prayer thirty In fact, the maximum that we

  164. had was fifty, if I remember. So we came to

  165. this brother and then he just look, I said, past zero.

  166. And then.

  167. It's a zero percent. Then we go we all couldn't

  168. help laugh, and then we say that you know, I'm

  169. saying you're zero percent. It is not because God is

  170. no show God. It is because of you. And then

  171. he admitted it. You're not born again. The connection is

  172. not dead, so God is not bound to answer your prayer.

  173. I'm sure he was near. I was still find it,

  174. and he admitted that the foundation was non existing. Hallelujah Amen.

  175. So that the highest we had I'm sure I don't

  176. know about you me and me too. Maybe I'll do

  177. fifty percent or a tetive or whatever.

  178. Hallelujah.

  179. But we're still pressing on. We are not stopping praying.

  180. Hallelujah Amen. So it all means once again, the Word

  181. of God, Hallelujah. In the Word of God, once we

  182. have that balance that we need, that critical balance that

  183. we need. And it's very, very important that the greatest

  184. need in the church today and just like every age else,

  185. will not find God telling us in the Word of

  186. God that my people prayerish for lack of knowledge. Halleluier.

  187. So that in this man as we pursue to bring

  188. order into our prayer lives, I just want to urge

  189. and I just want to encourage that we bring order

  190. as well in our word life, because they go hand

  191. in hand. Halleluiah. Because in the Word of God, we're

  192. going to be able to and again not just information,

  193. but also knowledge, wisdom inside understanding. In the Word of God,

  194. we will meet God giving a personal revelation of myself

  195. as the Lord, the Boss and the governor of the

  196. entire universe. Alleluyer amen. And when you get it, understand

  197. and grabs this thing that God is in charge not

  198. just of the nations. God is in charge of the

  199. peoples of this earth, and God is in charge of

  200. my own life. You won't stop praying. You not have

  201. any motive whatsoever to stop praying. Halleluyer Amen. And then

  202. you're also going to going to understand for those of

  203. us who if you like, as I said, I don't

  204. know your proportion, you know, fifty percent answert prayer fifty percent,

  205. or for the brother who says zero percent you know,

  206. answers prayer and waiting and then no answers and the

  207. large chank of it what we need to also understand

  208. that will also help us in delayed prayers that God

  209. works or God has an agenda as part of his

  210. if you like, global or universal governance of his universe.

  211. He has timelines attached to it a man very very important.

  212. And that's and it is that purpose, Amen. Ultimately, it

  213. says purpose, that is what's unfolding in your life. If

  214. there is anything that is on ansert prayer, maybe maybe

  215. on God's timetable. The timeline has not come. That is

  216. why the prayer has not been answert in some ways

  217. somehow you would understand if you ask me, does God

  218. all our midweek services? Is it the will of God

  219. that this place will be filled with the people of

  220. God so that we will all participate in our midweek

  221. services and learn from the word of God. I would

  222. say yes, anytime that we come to for the midweek services,

  223. that this place get filled up. I was saying, no, amen,

  224. should we stop praying? Therefore, no, Amen. We will continue

  225. to pray that anytime that we gather for the midweek services,

  226. people will come so that we can be taught the

  227. Word of God and learn and grow and mature. Hallelujah.

  228. Doesn't nullify the fact that God is a prayer answering

  229. go no, amen, Why because we know in this word

  230. what do we expect? Many are called, few are chosen. Hallelujah.

  231. Amen.

  232. Very very important that so we will learn that it

  233. is His purpose that is unfolding in the entire universe,

  234. including that of all creation, including you yourself. Hallelujah. In

  235. asks chapter seventeen, in verse twenty five to twenty eight,

  236. look at that and Paul tells the Athenians about the

  237. same purpose of God. Listen. He says that in Vestuativer

  238. talking about God, the unknown God, as he was making

  239. his discourses to the Athenians, they are real pagus. He says,

  240. what NOI is? He worshiped with men's hands, as though

  241. he needed anything. We are coming from a month of worship.

  242. Now listen to a God to say. He says, he's

  243. no worship with men's hands as though he needed anything. Hallelujah.

  244. If nobody will come and come and play this aak

  245. or instruments on the drums, you have a talent, you

  246. have a gift. You say you don't come when it's Sunday.

  247. If you don't come and pay me, I won't come

  248. like happens in many of our churches and all those things.

  249. And then if.

  250. I'll come to your church, I'll come for two hours

  251. time God for our instrumental it's less celebrate than Halenelujah.

  252. God doesn't need instruments, hallelujah. If you won't play God,

  253. no God, God will just be laughing at you.

  254. Let me use the word that there is some.

  255. Same copapa by Dad is playing for him in heavens,

  256. and you your own that women with they find the

  257. key when I bring my co coachi vose, you won't

  258. be able to get the key for me.

  259. And the way you finish and said we should pay

  260. you isn't No?

  261. Is he worshiped with men's as though he needed anything.

  262. Since listen to that he gives to all life, breath,

  263. and all things, and that he has made from one

  264. blood every nation of men to dwell on all the

  265. surface of the earth, and he has determined their pray,

  266. appointed times and the boundaries of the earth. See just

  267. just just follow, follow the narrative that police said. He's

  268. trying to tell us that, look, God is the governor

  269. of the universe, including your own life. Hallelujah. And now

  270. what is it? Now?

  271. It gives us the reason verse twenty seven. He said

  272. that he does.

  273. He says so that they should seek the Lord, and

  274. underline it so that they will seek the Lord in

  275. the hope that they might grop for him and find him.

  276. Though he is not far from each one of us,

  277. for in him will live and move and have our being,

  278. as also some of your own poets have said, for

  279. we are also his off spring. Verse twenty seven says

  280. that we are here on this ef to seek him

  281. and to find him. Amen. God sends us into the kingdom,

  282. translates us out of Satan's domain of darkness into the

  283. kingdom of his beloved son, so that we will seek

  284. him and find him, and then acknowledge with a certain

  285. measure of humility that we own our being and existent

  286. to him. That is what he means by in him

  287. will live and move another our bee.

  288. That is why we pray.

  289. We are harmal enough to pray and ano that God,

  290. you are the giver of life. You created us, and

  291. you determine the tide and the season that we should

  292. be here on this planet Earth. So, as a believer,

  293. as a child of God who reads the sword, you

  294. have read the scripture, or you haven't taught, you come

  295. to a session like this and we are teaching. It

  296. means that when you go back home, you take your child,

  297. you flip through the Bible on your own and allow

  298. the Holy Spirit to teach you so that the truth

  299. and the lessons will be esched on your mind. That's

  300. why we take notes when we are when we are

  301. children of God, when we come to church. Up to now,

  302. it doesn't matter. We is teaching have big time right

  303. from when I got But you understand that when you

  304. go to school and your lecturer is teaching you, you

  305. take notes. I'm not talking about mean lecturing. By the

  306. Holy Spirit. Hallelujah Amen. So you INVERI amblifying yourself that

  307. you are taking and when you go you weren't revised.

  308. So now you can grow. We are not growing in church.

  309. We are still baby. Christians were a serlling mature and

  310. that is why we are. Our prayers are not working

  311. and that's why a lot of us have fit praying.

  312. There's no way you be a mature believer. And you

  313. stop praying. You can't stop why in Him will live

  314. and move and have our be You get rich, you

  315. stop praying. You know you weren't. That's why something you

  316. know said you were never saved. You were never saying

  317. you were never born again. Because you are rich, you

  318. stop churched, you stop worshiping God, you stop serving.

  319. No, you were not born again. You dare not.

  320. You are afraid because in your search and in your

  321. walk with God, this truth, this truth would have been

  322. etched on your heart and on your mind. Now you

  323. are not here on now, Oh it took God to

  324. invent us. It took God to create us. It took

  325. God to give us the breath of life in him,

  326. will live and move and have our being. How damn

  327. you stop worshiping it and calling on it. None of

  328. us here is guaranteed the next five minutes in life, hallelujah. None.

  329. The other day it was on the news they said

  330. that church, a building collaps, that the people were in

  331. church and it was rainy. Can you understand? Can you

  332. explain it?

  333. I can't.

  334. I mean trying to find wrap your mind. So and

  335. when they heard the building coming, why didn't they dash

  336. out and escape? And rather, God trapped in him will

  337. leave and move and have some died some So so

  338. vibe anything now twenty six let me read it over again,

  339. know you? They said that, and he has made from

  340. one blood, from Adam. That's what it means, from Adam,

  341. every nation of men, the God that we are praying to,

  342. the God that you and I are worshiping, and a

  343. coming to covenant with relationship with him, the Father of

  344. our Lord.

  345. And savior, Jesus Christ.

  346. He says he made from one blood every nation of

  347. men to dwell on all the surface of the earth

  348. and was and he has God. The ten means they

  349. are pray appointed types. The ten means they are pray

  350. appointed type. So if you and I are in year

  351. twenty twenty sixth and it is because of both prein determination,

  352. he decided that you and I will be in church

  353. this day, will be alive in a time like this.

  354. That's what it means. And then he said, oh there

  355. are times and the boundaries of the add God is

  356. God that decided that you you you will be a

  357. black man, you be a Ghanian. Amen.

  358. And then he said, twenty seven gifts us.

  359. The reason he said so that they should seek the Lord,

  360. So that they should seek the Lord. Are we seeking him?

  361. How do we seek the Lord in the world and

  362. in the conversations?

  363. Are we finding him?

  364. Because he said that you're not just seek him in futility,

  365. so that they will find him. I found him, I

  366. know my redhim and Leader.

  367. I found him. I search for him and I found him.

  368. So when I stand in the place of prayer, I'm

  369. not just reciting prayer. I am speaking to a living

  370. being lives in my heart. That's the seal of the

  371. Holy Story brings reality of heaven to us. It tells

  372. us that God is. They that come to him must

  373. believe number one, that God exists, and that is a

  374. rewarder of them that diligently seeking. I found him. Where

  375. is the evidence in my heart? He lives in my heart?

  376. So when I'm talking, when I'm pray, it's not an

  377. exercise in futility.

  378. I am speaking to a.

  379. Living being, the God of heaven and earth. That's that's

  380. that's why the prayer we see Sometimes when we come

  381. to the prayer, we are all title, but you need

  382. that that moment. Sometimes it will be just five minutes, two,

  383. three minutes, don't win on a link, when the connection

  384. will be established and you know now you have been

  385. talking to God and just that five minutes alone, the

  386. beddings will be rolled away. He just need one encounters

  387. and encounters we talk about in prayer, the beldings will

  388. be rolled away. You may come in down hated and

  389. then weeping, but something happens in that moment, that momentary

  390. moment of connection, and you know that. Ah, I'm glad

  391. I came for the prayer service. I'm glad I came

  392. for the church service. I'm glad I came for the

  393. meeting because God was there. I'm glad this morning I

  394. went to God in prayer. As soon as I woke up,

  395. my man say, I take a bye from my bed.

  396. All that I found out that I went on my

  397. knees beside my bed and God, all that I could say, Oh, Father,

  398. have mercy on me. The Bible says that sometimes we

  399. don't know in the place of prayer. We don't know

  400. what to say and what to say. All that we

  401. can do is to sigh and grow and say, Papa.

  402. Sometimes you can just kneel before beside your bed.

  403. Not a single way I've done all everything is down. Ah,

  404. You're just morning and groaning and sighing, and you are

  405. there just five ten fifty minutes. The thing is just

  406. glueing your knees to the to the front, and you

  407. are just there.

  408. Maybe like Anna of Old.

  409. The Bible says that on that day we know the

  410. Bible said it was her lifts that was moving, and

  411. she was there, But she little one tells us exactly

  412. was the discouse that she said she was there. She said,

  413. I pulled out my soul to God. That's one of

  414. my favorite definitions of prayer, pouring out your soul to God.

  415. So Annah said, I poured out my soul to God

  416. that auspicious day. And Elie Papa Eli thought that I

  417. was drunk. And he said, no, no, no, I'm not drunk.

  418. It's any morning. I'm not taking any wine.

  419. Bye from the beddings of my heart.

  420. And I pulled out my soul to God. And the

  421. priest of God was smoothed and goes the prayer. God said,

  422. can you speak a word of encouragement to her? I

  423. have hurt her. I will answer her. And when she

  424. said it, the Bible says that her countenance was no

  425. longer sad.

  426. Something shifted.

  427. She knew that God has hit me. It was worth

  428. coming to Shiloh that day. It was worth living. The

  429. food the Bible's alter they were eating. They we're eating

  430. o our party. Something moved on said I'm going once

  431. again one more time. Who knows tonight or this morning

  432. he will hear me. And the Bible says she came

  433. wheeping out of egony and pain. And the Bible says

  434. she stood before the presence of God, started plaining and negotiating.

  435. Even only you give me a man child. He's going

  436. to be your son, and I'm going to bring it

  437. ensure that he's a nurse right all the days of

  438. his life prayer, I was seeking him, and I think

  439. I mentioned this. Then he said, ironically, let me, when

  440. you seek for God in prayer and in searching the

  441. scriptures and you find him, instead of captaining your church,

  442. it rather taps you into a never ending cycle of

  443. searching for him. Let me take it again.

  444. I've posed the question we seeking him?

  445. That's twenty seven says that to seek him and to

  446. find him hallelujah. And then were acknowledge with the measure

  447. of humility, that we owe our being and existence to him.

  448. That's what it means. But in him we live and

  449. move and have our being. When ironic, and when we

  450. seek for God in prayer and searching for him in

  451. the scriptures and you find him, instead of telling your search,

  452. it rather takes you into a never ending cycle of

  453. searching for him. Whenever you find him, then you recognize

  454. that you know very little, and you find a certain

  455. desire to know him. More so that al who say

  456. that these days I don't have I don't find time

  457. to pray, Hey, are you really serious? You have to

  458. admit that you are back sleading one. That's where the

  459. humility comes in. You should admit it. Less prayer or

  460. no prayer, it's because of the connection, instead of humbling

  461. ourselves and say, Papa, I missed you, I lost you.

  462. I don't know where God. And then someoneted tonight says,

  463. search me, o God, no, my heart, try me, you know,

  464. my aunt, just to see if that be in a

  465. wicked way in me and leave me in perhaps ever lasted.

  466. Get me back on track, Get me back on track,

  467. get me back on the church. And a lot of

  468. us need to come back on track. We lost God,

  469. or God lost that somewhere along the line. We are

  470. not too sure. We walked away, we drifted away. We

  471. allowed the cares of this life to check the life

  472. of God down of us, and we stop praying. We

  473. drifted off the prayer. Autists you find him, You found him,

  474. and he brought you into great well. He brought you

  475. into great BOSSI. He blessed your life. No, you can't live,

  476. you can't live. You won't live. Now, listen to Paul

  477. last week. Maybe you will. And then philippianstraight and what

  478. did he say that I may know him and the

  479. power of his resurrection. After all the night and after

  480. finding him he was the one preaching in Athens. He said,

  481. in him, we'll live and move and habad b he

  482. said that we will set for him and find him

  483. and cleave to him. Now after he has done that

  484. and all the knowledge and all that. And that's not

  485. the point I'm making now. Look, it won't let you

  486. drift away. There's rather an appetite. And for racial's appetite

  487. is arousing you. When you find God, he said, Wow,

  488. then I can see more of him. I want more

  489. of your power, I want more of your grace. I

  490. want more to see more of you more since after

  491. all that you saw in Egypt and then in the

  492. wilderness journey and experience. He comes to God and says, God,

  493. you have sent me and I soon don't know you

  494. that I'm annoying, that I'm annoying that I want to

  495. see thy glory. I want to see thy glory and God.

  496. That's when God told me that you can't see my face.

  497. All the day you see my face, you die, and

  498. God will blind him say I'm going to no more.

  499. I like your aggressiveness. I'm going to do something for you.

  500. I'm going to put you in, hide you in this

  501. rock and this cleft of a rock, and I'm going

  502. to pass by. When I pass back, I will allow

  503. you to see my hind passed, because my face when

  504. you see you die, and God did it, the people

  505. who encountered God. When you encounter God, there's more. There's

  506. there's an appetite. It's rather ironically stared up in you.

  507. So you quit the praying in I can't understand it.

  508. You quit praying, and you're telling me that you don't

  509. have more.

  510. You don't have time to pray because these.

  511. Days you are busy. Per says that I may know

  512. him and the power of his rerection and the fellowship

  513. of his sufferings being confirmed to his death. That's mogue.

  514. That's the party.

  515. More knowledge taps you into more and more search.

  516. More answered prayer will tip you more and more for prayer,

  517. desires and searching for him. That's how it works. More prayers,

  518. more answers to prayer. Why cad can you imagine it?

  519. We start that with I pip one. Now why have

  520. we got to why amen? That one experience we confind

  521. him we can't find him. God as glacious God is

  522. The prayers in God, we want more of you. Every

  523. time when I live in one of them, people come

  524. saying that when are we going to do it again?

  525. When are we going to because.

  526. It's an experience that unforgettable, Because why we encounter God?

  527. Do we see raining off?

  528. You know? But there's something, there's something now you live away,

  529. you live the present mind. I found him, I found him.

  530. I want to cleave to him. I want to continue

  531. my search for him. I want to know more and

  532. more of him and this man we are trying. We

  533. are trusting God that as we go along, God will

  534. show himself. He said, I will be found when you

  535. search for me with all your heart, and that He

  536. is going to bring all that into our prayer lives,

  537. those of us who have who still don't know Him,

  538. who have been on repentant. It's a prayer that as

  539. we go through these discourses we will get sincere leborn again.

  540. Those of us who are backslading, and I've left our

  541. prayer utest in a state of disrepair, we will rise up.

  542. We'll repair them so that together we can bring order

  543. in our prayer lives. Rise up on your feet.
