MGD: What Has it Cost You So Far?

this morning to our morning glory devotion. This is Harvest

Chapel International, Dnamko Mersey. It's a it's a pleasure to

have you join us for our morning devotions and our

time and fellowship with the Holy Spirit and the Word

of God. Lord, we come in all sincerity, in all humility.

We come knowing that you are the Lord of the Harvest.

We come knowing that you are the one who can

cause this word to come alive. Lord, let it come

alive in our lives, even as we hear it. In

the name of Jesus, let it come life. Or that

brother and that sister, in the name of Jesus who

is connecting this morning, reveal your personal to us that

will be able to appreciate and understand. Speak to us

in a way that we'll be able to understand. O.

God in she Cusaly, we bless you. We give you praise. Amen,

God bless you. This morning. We want to look into

the Word of God and take our confession from the

Book of Joshua, chapter one, verse eight. The Book of Joshua,

chapter one, verse eight. This book of the Law shall

not depart out of my mouth, that I shall meditate

therein day and night, that I may observe to do

according to all that is written in it for them.

Now I would make my way prospers, and then we

will have good success a man for a morning glory devotion.

We want to look at the top pick what has

it cost you so far? What has it cost you

so far? We want to take our scripture reading. We'll

take our reading from the Gospel according to Matthew chapter nineteen,

or away from the twenty three to verse thirty Matthew

nineteen twenty three to verse thirty. I'll be reading from

the New King James version. Then Jesus said to his

disciples assuredly, I say to you that it is hard

for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

And again I say to you, it is easier for

a camel to go through the eye of a needle

than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of God.

When the disciples head this, they were greatly astonished, saying,

who then can be saved? But Jesus look at the men,

said to them, with men, this is impossible, But with

God all things are possible. Then Peter An said and

said to him, see, we have left all and followed you.

Therefore what shall we have? Jesus said to them assuredly,

I say to you that in their ay generation, when

the Son of Man sits on the throne of his glory,

you who have followed me will sit also on the

twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel. And everyone

who has left houses or brothers or sisters, father or

mother or wife, or children or lands for my namesake

shall receive one hundredfold and inherit etern our life. But

many who are first will be last in the last

fast hall loo yah amen, with thank God for his suppression.

Word in men our topic again, what has it cost

you so far? This morning? We want to start our

day by asking ourselves a very important, year, very simple,

sincere question, and the question is this, has your Christian

life so far, your work of faith in Christ Jesus,

has it cost you anything? Yet? Just like Peter said

in the verse twenty seven of the chapter twenty nine

of Matthew that we read, he said, sincerely, let's see,

we have left all and followed you. So this morning

we ask ourselves what have we left since we started

to follow Jesus Christ. Because in the scenario and the

examples with the disciples, they were confidence that they had

left their careers, their boats. Some of them were comfortable

sitting at the tax collector's table. They left them. Some

had left family, mothers, friends, children, just to follow the

Lord Jesus, Beloved, would you say that way you have

come now and the person that you are now in

the Lord, have we yet paid a price or have

you given up anything at all? Yet? Yes, of a certainty,

we have been freely given all things as a new

creation of God. But Beloved, it would definitely cost us

everything to be able to walk in the realities of

the things that we have been freely given. If it

cost God, then, Beloved, it will cost us. If it

cost God to have you and I, then it will

cost us also to be truly His Matthew. Chapter thirteen

is a chapter that the Lord Jesus Christ dedicates to

telling his disciples, and in fact telling all of us,

about the nature of the Kingdom of Heaven that we

are in, and he shares two parables somewhere in the

latter end of that chapter, the verses forty four through

to forty five, teaching that the dynamics and the realities

of the Kingdom of Heaven can only be accessed with

a price or at a cost. The parable maybe tells

us the extent that one must go to even be

able to have a fair share of the inheritance that

is ours in the Kingdom of Heaven. So the Lord

Jesus Christ said that again, the Kingdom of Heaven is

like a treasure hidden in a field, which a man

found in Hiad, and for the joy over it, he

goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

And then again the Kingdom of Heaven is like a

marge and seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found

one pail of great price, went and sold all that

he had and bought it. This imagery that the Lord uses,

indeed truly teaches us that there's no true genie of

faith in this kingdom without paying a price. Beloved, this morning,

want to remind ourselves that there's a price to pay

for our spiritual maturity and growth, a prize to pay

for our spiritual nourishment, a price to pay to remain

stable in this kingdom. There's a price to pay for

the anointing, a price to pay even to be able

to have access and to be able to hear the

voice of God Beloved. There is a great price to

pay for spiritual revival, as a price to pay for rest,

and as surprise to pay, amongst many other things, for

the ultimate prize when all is said and done. Like

our pastor teaches us, there's always a t before the z,

the surprise, before the price. You can measure how far

you have come as a believer not by the number

of years you have spent in the Lord, but rather

for the amount of price that you have paid over

a period since you came to the Lord. Because when

all is said and done, very few things would matter.

And you need to assess yourself and ask yourself if

you do your best to live for truth, if you

do your best to live and to pay the price

for the reward that belongs to believers. When we are

done with this life, let's remind ourselves again that there

is absolutely nothing that lasts in this kingdom that comes

cheap or that is automatic. What is a stake for us,

believers is not some kind of super official Christianity. Once

in a while, submarine occasional church attendance kind of Christian

life Sunday alone working with God. But their deeper things,

their higher heights that are stake for us. What is

a state beloved is true intimacy with God, being able

to go beyond the veil and being able to handle

weightier mattice. In this kingdom, it is said that God

does not have favorites, or rather he has intimate Are

you ready to pay the price to become intimate with God?

Because anything that does not cost you and this kingdom

pursuit will slip out of your hands as easily as

it may have come into your hands. And nobody, absolutely

nobody can take your place when it comes to paying

the price for your own destiny and for your own

relig relationship with God. A man of God unfortunately cannot

lay hands on you for you to receive these things.

No amount of oil can be poured upon you for

you to receive these things. But Beloved, when we have

paid the price, then maybe we can receive it by impartition.

That is how it works. This is the principle in

the Kingdom of God. This morning, you want to examine

yourself man of God, woman of God, servant of God,

and whatever capacity that you are in as a husband,

as a wife, so long as you were true son

of God in this kingdom. You want to examine yourself

and find out whether some of these signs are evident

in your life. Are you flipping between cannality and spirituality?

Are you flipping and continuously backsliding? Are you living as

a life full of excuses, always given excuses? Have you

realized any kind of stagnation about your life? You can

tell whether you are growing, you are making progress or not.

You take one step forward and maybe you find yourself

taking three steps backwards. Are you bearing fruit at home?

Are you realizing that maybe in your life there's very

little fruit? Then? Maybe, Beloved, you have not yet decided

to pay the price for what is a stick a rise?

Are beloved? You must pay a price to live that

righteous life. You must give up something. You must give

up friends. You must give up that time that you

dedicate to movies and to sensual things or pleasure. You

must give up something to be able to become stable,

mature and strong as a believer for your kingdom assignment.

You must pay that price for prayer, the grace of

prayer to be maintained over your life. You must pay

that price for the steadying of the web. Even having

devotions like this and looking into the Word for yourself,

you must pay a price for it. You must sacrifice

something for it. You must give up something for something

else to be given to you from a bath. You

must pay the price for the anointing that comes for

your ministry and the place where God has called you

to serve, and God has called all of us to save,

and all of us are very critical rules to play

in the Kingdom's work. And you must pay a price

to carry that anointing of God, that fresh anointing of

God over your life. And we are comforted, beloved, knowing

that the scriptures assures us that indeed the glory that

shall be revealed in us is worth the price that

we have to pay today in Jesus nineteen eight. Amen, Lord,

you have set us out on this gene you have

called us, and you are the one who has placed

this demand on us. You have said that we should

pick up our cross daily and follow you. Lord. We

pray for grace that Lord will be able to stand

the test of time and to be able to pay

the price for the ministry and for our own salvation

that will be able to realize and be able to

live out and live in the realities of this kingdom.

In Jesus name, a man, beloved, God bless you want

to take our memory. This from Second Timothy chapter four,

there's seven. Second Timothy chapter four, there's seven. He says,

I have fought a good fight. I have finished the race.

I have kept the faith. I have fought a good fight.

I have finished the race. I have kept the faith.

All lawyer, may you fight the good fight. May you

finish this race, and may you keep the faith. God

bless you so much beloved, even as we go at them,

and the Lord be with you. May bless your day.

May you be encouraged as a believer, as you are
