  12. after you in Jesus Mighty name you pray. Amen.

  13. Amen.

  14. Please let's take our confession from jewsha chapter one, verse eight.

  15. Jewshah chapter one, verse eight.

  16. This book of the Law shall not depart from my mouth,

  17. but I shall meditate in it day and night, that

  18. I may observe to do according to all that is

  19. written in it. For them, I will make my way prosstprous,

  20. and then I'll have good success. Amen.

  21. Our thing for today's devotion is pass it forward. Pass

  22. it forward. We take our scripture reading from Tewod Timothy,

  23. Chapter one, verse one to seven. I'm reading from the

  24. New King James's version Paul an apostle of Jesus Christ,

  25. by the will of God according to the promise of

  26. life which is in Christ, Jesus to Timothy, a beloved son, Grace,

  27. mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ, Jesus

  28. our Lord. I thank God whom myself with appear conscience,

  29. as my forefathers did, as without ceasing. I remember you

  30. in my prayers night and day, greatly desiring to see you,

  31. being mindful of your tears, that I may be filled

  32. with joy when I call to remembrance the genuine faith

  33. that is in you. We dwelt first in your grandmother

  34. Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded seeing

  35. you also. Therefore I remind you to stare up the

  36. guilt of God which is in you through the lane

  37. on my hands. For God has not given us a

  38. spirit of fear, but of power and of love and

  39. of a sound mind. This is the word of the Lord.

  40. Fast be to God, Pass it forward, Pass it forward.

  41. We all do love to watch athletes compete in really racing.

  42. We see how a relay team of usually false printers

  43. run a preset distance, carrying a button and passing it

  44. forward to the next runner. Usually, the team that wins

  45. is the one that is disciplined enough to run with

  46. all endurance, making sure they never at any points drop

  47. the button, each time passing it forward. In the scripture

  48. we read today, we are told of how Timothy was

  49. grace to have genuine faith passed on to him from

  50. his mother, units who also received same from his grandmother

  51. Lois like a baton. This genuine faith was, with all endurance,

  52. passed on down to him. How blessed was he to

  53. have been part of such a family. We all do

  54. know that our calling to the faith was no family affair,

  55. as no family member received the Lord on our behalf,

  56. neither did we receive it as an inheritance. We had

  57. to willingly and personally accept the Lord Jesus as our

  58. personal savior. However, when we cast our minds back, may

  59. be able to confirm for many of us how being

  60. brought up in a Christian setting, or having some close

  61. Christian associate helped bring us to the point of our salvation.

  62. We may have seen the power of Christ exemplified through

  63. their lives and desired to witness saying in our lives.

  64. For many of us, that could have been the background

  65. that firsted our adoption in Christianity. From Martinew chapter one,

  66. we see how the genealogy of Jesus greatly benefits from

  67. disgrace of passonate forward preparing the way of the Lord.

  68. We see how for forty two long generations, the faith

  69. was passed forward from Abraham, the father of faith, all

  70. the way down to Joseph, the husband of Mary, of

  71. whom was born Jesus Christ. This act of passing down

  72. the faith called for discipline and endurance from key members

  73. in these generations. These members played significant roles and made

  74. vuluable psych grifices in passing this mantle of faith forward.

  75. It called for Abraham's obedience of moving from his comfort

  76. Haron to unknown Canaan. It called for Isaac faithfully walking

  77. in the steps of his father Abraham, believing in the

  78. word of the Lord and dwelling in the land of

  79. Ghera de Spies the Farmine. It's called for rehab to

  80. believe in the saving grace of the God of Israel

  81. and receiving the spies in peace. It called for Ruth

  82. swearing allegiance to Naomi, even when she had lost it

  83. all and had no hope of gaining sight. Time will

  84. not permit us to talk of Jacob, Obed and David,

  85. as well as the many gallants, men and women of faith,

  86. who through sacrifices, paved the way for the coming of

  87. our Messiah. For all these men and women of faith,

  88. they were convinced that the sufferings and pleasures of this

  89. present world were not worthy to be compared to the

  90. glory that had to be revealed in their families and

  91. their generations. Yet on born, they simply saw themselves as

  92. instruments through which God would bring his people so great

  93. a salvation. Had any of them failed as passing it forward,

  94. we would have never benefited of this great salvation that

  95. came through our Lord Jesus Christ. Looking at this example

  96. of how the faith was passed on in the genealogy

  97. of Jesus, we should be more convinced that there is

  98. a bigger picture and a better reason for our lives

  99. here on earth. The successes and salvation of nations and

  100. generations yet on born are tied to our simple acts

  101. of obedience to the faith and passing it forward. It

  102. calls for us to make selfless sacrifices and let go

  103. of the sin that easily besets us, running with all endurance.

  104. The race that is set before us, just as we

  105. are told in Hebrews Chapter twelve.

  106. Is one.

  107. We should have at the back of our minds. That

  108. our primary goal on planet Earth goes far beyond just

  109. making a living for us and our nuclear families. Our

  110. primary objective is to faithfully endure at running the race

  111. and passing the baton of faith forward. Our simple act

  112. of obedience to this call will pave the way for

  113. the salvation of many members of our families and chain

  114. the path of many others, bringing them from the path

  115. of darkness to light. It calls for us to, at

  116. all costs, overcome the pleasures of sin, step out from

  117. our comfort zone, and evangelize while intentionally making investments of

  118. prayer for the salvation of others. Jesus Christ and our

  119. fathers and mothers of old, for the joy set before them,

  120. have faithfully endured their cross, despicing the shame, and have

  121. handed over the battle of faith to us. Would we

  122. pass it forward? God wishly bless you. Let us kindly

  123. take our memory Verse our memory. Verse for today is

  124. taken from he Brewshops at twelve, verse one. He bruis

  125. chopped at twelve the verse one, and it reads, Therefore

  126. we also, since we are surrounded by so great a

  127. cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every week and

  128. the sand which so easily ensnares us, and let us

  129. run with endurance the rags that they set before us. Us. Therefore,

  130. we also, since we are surrounded by so great a

  131. cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and

  132. the same which so easily ensnares us, and let us

  133. run with endurance the race that is set before us. Amen,

  134. Please let us share word of prayer. Our heavely Father,

  135. we thank you for enduring the cross, despice, and the shame,

  136. and passing forward this great mantle of faith to us.

  137. We receive grace to do the same and pass it

  138. forward to the benefit of genuation yet on born in

  139. Jesus's mighty name. Amen.

  140. Amen. Person on the faith means to lay aside every

  141. pleasures of the flesh and intentionally investing efforts into the

  142. salvation of others. Amen.

  143. Amen.

  144. God, bless you for being a part of today's devotion.

  145. Keep your doll right here for more so nourishing content.

  146. Please don't forget to share this platform with your family

  147. and friends. God be with you shalom.
