  11. Welcome to the logo streamer are with God savant Reverend

  12. Doctor Joseph Being, head Pastor of Harvest Chapel International Commercy.

  13. And now to today's message.

  14. Harlem heah. Amen, Let's take a confession from Joshua one.

  15. That's eight. Let's look over a shallow depart out of

  16. my mind, and I shall meditate in it to day

  17. and night, that I may observe to do according to

  18. all that is written in it. For then I will

  19. make my way prospross and then I will have good success. Amen,

  20. God bless you. Why don't you take your seats express things.

  21. We will continue with our discourses on how best we

  22. can bring order to her prayer life. Charlie Louis. Amen,

  23. and we said her uncle. Scripture is taken from Luke,

  24. chapter eleven, Verse one, Look eleven. And he said, now

  25. it came to pass as he was praying in a

  26. certain place when he ceased, and one of his disciples

  27. said to him, Lord teachers, to pray as John also

  28. taught his disciples. Amen. Now let's move on to look

  29. at the verses. Let's break them down by best. Let's

  30. pick up some of the lessons to back some of

  31. the observations that we've just made. So this one he says,

  32. now it came to pass as he was praying in

  33. a certain place when he ceased, that one of his

  34. disciples said to him, Lord teachers, to pray as John

  35. also to his disciples. So teaching lesson. So let me

  36. make the key points that we will talk about in

  37. these invest one. Key point number one, Jesus made time

  38. to pray, and you and I we must make time

  39. to pray. Say a big a man, halleluiash point number

  40. two for personal prayer. He often as against congregational prayer.

  41. When we call for the prayer meeting, you have no

  42. choice but to be here, and we're all going to

  43. do it. If we decide that we will do it.

  44. In the guardians, you have no choice. You have to

  45. do it, and therefore it is open. Amen. But for

  46. personal prayer, Jesus often sought an advocated for privacy or

  47. solitude so we could be alone with God. Can I

  48. take that a day? And the second point we can

  49. learn from vers one for personal prayer, Jesus often sought

  50. and therefore by so doing, he's teaching us how to

  51. pray advocated for privacy or solitude so we could be

  52. alone with God. And we could. He wants us to

  53. be alone with God so that we can do our

  54. way with distractions. Amen. These things abound in life and

  55. can dumping the focus and effectiveness of our prayer enterprise.

  56. We are bringing order. And with this point, the first

  57. point that we are learning from Verse one, as seen

  58. in the life of Jesus, is that he often sought

  59. advocated for privacy or solitude so he could be alone

  60. with God. Distractions. If you ignore it every time you

  61. want to pray, you don't have any place of seclusion

  62. or whatever privacy know find one. The Bible says that

  63. Jesus went out and he's sought. That's what the Bible

  64. said that day he was in the day they made

  65. this comment, he was sleeping, or if you like, he

  66. spent the time with Peter and his mother in law

  67. and his wife. So he was in Peter's household with

  68. the disciples. Bible commentators will tell us that that place

  69. and then John and his brother James, or the appearance.

  70. He used to spend a lot of time with them,

  71. Helene Lujah. But the Bible says while they were sleeping,

  72. he left the place and sought, looked for a solitary

  73. place so that he could be alone with God. And

  74. there he prayed, Amen, bringing order. You must have the

  75. place where you can be alone with God, Helene Lujiah,

  76. because distractions abound in life, and they can dumping the

  77. focus and effectiveness of her prayer. Enterprise. And let's look

  78. at Matthew's six vess vicis. He teaches it, he practices,

  79. he teaches it. Remember what look vulnerable to your fellows, Hallelujah.

  80. In asks chapter one, he said, what in the former traitors,

  81. I've told you what Jesus was began to do and

  82. to teach, began to do and to teach. So that

  83. was his prayer life or enterprise. Listen to him teaching

  84. it on the salmon on the Man. He said, And

  85. when you pray, you shall not be like the hipocrist.

  86. For they love to pray standing in the sinner box

  87. and on the corners of the streets, that they may

  88. be seen by men. Assure readily, I say to you,

  89. they have their world. Now listen to the instruction in

  90. verse six. But you, when you pray, go into your room,

  91. and when you have shut your door, prayer to your father,

  92. who is in the secret place. And your father, who

  93. sees in secret, will reward you openly. Amen, Halene Loujah.

  94. So look for for effectiveness in prayer, bringing honor into

  95. a prayer, congregational prayer. You have nothing to do about it.

  96. When we come here and we say pray, none say, oh, persage,

  97. you know something their day Dad he was teaching, and

  98. he says, I need privacy. So and then you live

  99. as I'm going to look for a place. We come

  100. looking for you. You're going to one of the past's office.

  101. You have shut it. No, Halen Loujah, you have nothing

  102. to do but to stay here. But the one that

  103. sometimes when that's why sometimes when we are praying there

  104. in the in the gardens and I say, come, let's

  105. come together, and I know some of you you want it.

  106. When we are praying, you want alone, you know. And

  107. then you tell us that you are able to pray

  108. better when you go on the grass and you go

  109. and then meander away and then know that's congressional prayer.

  110. When you alone, you set your time. Not why you

  111. can't do that. But when there's a congregational meeting and

  112. we are holding hands, we are in a in a

  113. circle pray, don't say that me. I don't like that

  114. the circle. I don't like holding hands with other people.

  115. So let me go. And then you know there's a

  116. big place. Let me go behind where the Logos temple

  117. is praying. I'm sure that when I go there, I'll

  118. get alone place. No, yeah, let's get these troops very

  119. very very well. Congregational prayer. That one is different. But

  120. you alone, if we come here and then maybe we

  121. are doing something, or you come, you come early, and

  122. then you say, I want a private place to pray.

  123. The Logos them some of the rooms that they are finished.

  124. You can go there with your bible, go and take

  125. a seat, take a chair, go there, sit down, and

  126. then cut off the distractions and then pray and engage God.

  127. You don't have any place. Days now we have service.

  128. Come early Sunday, Morney. You can come early before the

  129. prayer at time the days that maybe it's a joint said,

  130. come early six o'clock. You are here. You can just

  131. go out there, take a seat with the Bible one

  132. hour and God will always hanner you with expression. The

  133. Holy Spirit will energize you soon at that time that

  134. you are made for Him. It won't be an exercise

  135. that is wasted. That's how it comes. That's how it happens.

  136. When you come, God will help. You can't do it alone.

  137. Halenluyer Amen. So this Jesus teaching about it. He advocated

  138. for privacy solitudes so that we can cut off these

  139. tractions and be able to engage God in a much

  140. more effective way. Hallelujer. You are selling best one. Prayer

  141. is a land discipline or enterprise in our work with God.

  142. It has to be taught and has to be lent

  143. all the days of our lives. It is a land

  144. discipline again or enterp right in our work with God.

  145. It has to be taught. Jesus taught it. We see

  146. it on the semon and the mouth. We see the

  147. disciples coming in here and asking Jesus teach us how

  148. to pray. So it has to talk. If somebody is

  149. teaching their means, somebody must be learning it and for

  150. you and I will learn it all the days of

  151. our lives. Amen. So there's never The point is that

  152. there's never going to be a time and season where

  153. you say that may have graduated from the school of prayer.

  154. Now I know how to pray. No, you don't. You

  155. don't in as much as you don't know the challenges

  156. that lie ahead of your life. You know, look at

  157. Jesus Christ, even on the cross, we learned it, isn't

  158. it say seven statements of Jesus on the Cross of Christ.

  159. Most of it was all prayer. And his last prayer

  160. was toward God that it is finished, Thank you God.

  161. And then we say a lawyer and lawy the man

  162. Sabbath and me. He was talking to God. Even in

  163. his death. He was praying a lifetime of prayer. We

  164. saw him in se many before going to the cross.

  165. So all our lives will be prayed, don't forget to

  166. pray when on your sake bed, when you and I

  167. we are about to exit, like Jesus is showing us. Hallelujah. Amen.

  168. We see the pounds of death coming, and the Bible says,

  169. the gloom and all that, and he cries out, why

  170. God have you forsaken me? The darkness and then the triumph?

  171. It is finished, hallelujah. And the Bible says, he breathed

  172. his last and gave up. So prayer is a land,

  173. discipline or enterprise that you and I are children of

  174. God will have to learn it for life. Hallelujah. Amen.

  175. And for you and I, the Holy Spirit of God

  176. is giving to the believer to be the teacher. We

  177. must be willing and humble enough to learn from him. Hallelujah.

  178. Amy my God, alahah, we gave you, Thanks Lord in

  179. the name of Jesus. So those are the lessons that

  180. I believe the best one will help us. Let's just

  181. look at it a little bit, say, look, took his

  182. time to research the life and ministry of Jesus, and

  183. so we're find in this narrative he tells us the

  184. circumstances that's the best one, that's the long best one

  185. and that we Jesus gave this very simple prayer outline

  186. to guide us in our prayer discoursest with God, hallelujah.

  187. And in this outline, Jesus presents to the interceding believer

  188. principles and guidelines concerning prayer that could make it more effective, enjoyable,

  189. and satisfying. To the Prince Saint the one we ready

  190. look one to thirteen, We're ready to That's what I'm

  191. talking about. Jesus gives us the principles and guidelines concerning

  192. prayer that could make prayer and much more effective, enjoyable,

  193. and satisfying life for you and I, Harlene loujash Amen.

  194. And then point number two, Jesus qualifies himself to be

  195. a teacher in prayer as in most things that has

  196. to do is our work with God, because he lived

  197. the truths out, he validated them all and now he

  198. can encourage us in our prayer lives because he simply

  199. lived the prayer for life Yeah on earth. The point

  200. is this that Jesus came in as man. Remember, he

  201. came to live the Christian outline and life out for

  202. you and I, so we will learn the where God

  203. wants us to live as believer. As all our complain

  204. over the years, He's us complain is that we don't

  205. have any living example to guide us how to be

  206. able to live pleasing lives to God. So I'm myself

  207. in man well God without himself, to live the life

  208. that where God expects us to live his life. And

  209. we are seeing and we are learning. God has called

  210. you and I to also partner and work with him.

  211. So how best are we going to be able to

  212. do that successfully? We look at the life of Jesus Christ.

  213. We are bringing order to our prayer life. So if

  214. we find out that Jesus the son of God, remember

  215. in the Book of Philippians, Paul tells us that he

  216. divested himself of every godly attribute and made himself a

  217. servant of God, and came to live with us, and

  218. even consented to die like a criminal for us. And

  219. that is why God has now exerted him and giving

  220. him a name, my bad every other name that the

  221. mention of the name of Jesus. Every niche abar and

  222. confess that Jesus is Lord. Hallelujah Amen. So he lived

  223. just like you and I. He put away the marble

  224. says he disrobed himself or the attributes that made him God.

  225. So Jesus didn't use short cuts if he had to pray,

  226. prayed even though he was God. He didn't count on

  227. those attributes. He connected with God and did only what

  228. God wanted him to do. That's how Peter would say,

  229. how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy spaid

  230. and with power. The Holy spraid was his guide, his shoot.

  231. Hallelujah Amen. He's a nebulae in the place of prayer. Yeah,

  232. in getsemon and we saw it. The Bible says he

  233. was orgonizing, even though the dogs didn't. They don't mention it.

  234. I'm sure he said that he was prayed in tongks,

  235. energized by the Holy girls, signs, drownings. Matthew Ate tells. Sorry,

  236. Apostle Paul tells hers, in the place of prayer, sometimes

  237. we don't know how to pray by the Holy Spirit

  238. giving through signs and groanings. So as them looking records,

  239. he said he gets the many he was orgonizing. The

  240. Bible says, I think there's a commentary that he cried

  241. to he who would God? If it is possible to

  242. take this away and agonizing fact that the sweat was

  243. like blood and angels were strengthening him. And after he

  244. had heard from God and said, I can't revise the script.

  245. It's too late. You have to die for all your

  246. brothers and sister. Now we have year mat and call

  247. since the foundations of the world, Son, you can do it.

  248. Do it.

  249. He was strengthy when he came up, when he rose

  250. up from day, he said, now I can go to

  251. the cross, and he was now even inviting it. Halenelujah amen.

  252. So that is God, the Son of God in human flesh,

  253. and you and I his brothers and sisters. He says,

  254. imitate me, Paul Wall say us, I imitate Christ. He

  255. came to set this fund that for us, the way

  256. God wants us to walk and partner with Him so

  257. that we can do and work the works of God

  258. once it is day, because now I come out when

  259. no man can work. You realize that the more and

  260. more you postpone to do what God you see the

  261. God to bypass you, God to raise another generation, God

  262. to raise another one who say, yes, Lord, use me

  263. the thing that God whispered that you didn't do it.

  264. And now we have been able to locate somebody and

  265. then that person will be doing it and doing it

  266. with style, halen. It doesn't know anything about you. My

  267. God has prepared him or hair, and the person is

  268. doing the thing. And then you see that the the

  269. other thing that the sad thing is that when you

  270. were doing it, you are accumulating some blessings and blessings

  271. that when you finish it to be given to you.

  272. Now you go to seventy five percent, then you quit,

  273. so this person will come and come and do the

  274. twenty five percent. That's why you get empyr ah. This

  275. person you see Jimmy Shira, yeah, Shimpa, hallelujah. You did

  276. that thing. Now you are about to reap and you

  277. said me my breath. Then the remark son a man go,

  278. oh God, I'm tired. This meet will know and then

  279. God said, angels, can we locate another person? And then

  280. the person rises up hallelujah, and then doing that, he

  281. doesn't know anything about you, and the struggles struggles with you,

  282. but he comes and then he's doing you with start with,

  283. you know, and the angels are applauding the us applauding

  284. you see you see you say you don't do it?

  285. Have you seen? And then the blessings before you realize,

  286. and then because you didn't do it, now you be

  287. filled with envy and jealousy and all that thing. And

  288. God will mind you. Halled Loujah, Amen, Amen, Hallelujah Amen.

  289. So Jesus qualifies himself to be a teacher prayer as

  290. in most of the things that has to do is

  291. our work with God, because he lived the truth out

  292. and there's the key point here. He validated them all

  293. and now he can encourage us in our prayer lives

  294. because he simply lived the prayer full life whilst he

  295. was on earth. He has gone through get this, He

  296. has gone through all the challenges and the hindrances, the

  297. frustrations associated with prayer. Say a big ay, may you

  298. think he says Sometimes when you read some of the

  299. miraculous you know narratives, you think that jes says his

  300. prayer was Yet every time he said, oh Lars Russ

  301. come out of the tone, and then then you know,

  302. and then so I wish no, no, no, no no,

  303. it was not like at least we have one example

  304. is in it he gets seveny hall do here a

  305. may he prayed. Yeah, God said no, so he knows

  306. about the frustration of being denied and answering. That's why

  307. he looked eighteen. Remember he also had another prayer to

  308. you in service and says, well, and then get to

  309. us and come men and women ought to pray and

  310. never gave up. And then he gave that illustration of

  311. the woman and the lawyer that went to the unjust

  312. charge and started badgering. Hair started badgering him. That gave me,

  313. vindicate me, vindicate me, vindicate me, vindicate me. And he says,

  314. one day the man was so tired from the woman's

  315. coming and then badgering, he said, even though I don't

  316. fear God, I just rise up so that this woman

  317. will stop me harassing me. And he said, listen to

  318. the unjud charge. Listen to him. How much more God

  319. harly lawyer. But then, remember the preamble was that man

  320. and women must learn how to pray and not give up.

  321. So the illustration is to tell us the one nothing happened.

  322. That's what we've been doing over the years. Oh my God,

  323. God is the prayer answering God, hallelujah. The things that

  324. we are in praying with prayer before we realize them. Boom.

  325. God has done it, and that's why we are always praying.

  326. We keep on praying. Hallelujah. Amen, we do I P

  327. I P one and the answers don't come. And then

  328. we go to two, then three, and just from nowhere, God,

  329. we say, these people, they are worrying me. That's why

  330. we want. We want to worry God, worry and worry him,

  331. and says, come and take your blessing and google every

  332. time I P I P I P I P I

  333. P I P hallelujah, say mega man, hallelujah. So answered prayer.

  334. He has the example. He has a lot to share

  335. with us. Partnering with the Holy spray. We see the

  336. same thing and it gives so many hallelujah. Let's look

  337. at that vest. Look is in look twenty two verst.

  338. Forty four. Quickly, so look at look twenty two, Verse

  339. forty four says, and being in egony, he prayed more endestly.

  340. Then his sweat became like great drops of black falling

  341. to the ground. Handelujah, he meant. So we see that

  342. he went through just he learned as a man the

  343. discipline of prayer. And now this is the key thing

  344. and total dependence on God. That's what prayer is all about.

  345. Even as man with all the skills, the competencies and

  346. things that God has given us, we choose to pray

  347. to tell God that we are depending on You without prayer,

  348. Like I would say, look at around most of the

  349. achievers on our landscape, Man of the Year, woman of

  350. the year. This is that that who are they do?

  351. They pray, They don't want to touch and that's why

  352. sometimes they didn't books and tell us that in our

  353. face that we are wasting our time because they don't

  354. understand it. They don't understand we are not here to

  355. win Man of the Year awards. I thought our year

  356. big Amen, so that you not be enchanted by that.

  357. Halene Luia Amen. We were made and created for a

  358. specific purpose, designed to enhance the frontiers of the Kingdom

  359. of God, not the kingdom of men to seek for accoholics.

  360. If they don't elect you, so what, let them take

  361. the honest, but the one that earner from God. Make

  362. sure that we don't miss it. Halle Lujiah. That is purpose.

  363. When you understand purpose, you don't go chasing for these things,

  364. even if you think you deserve it and don't give

  365. you to you I mean the will of God. I

  366. mean the will of God. Maybe you if they made

  367. you the woman of the year for gander the place

  368. that we will find you in next So you have

  369. wake up. Yeah. Every time when they rich or death,

  370. then they jump non protest. Hallelujah Amen. God has something

  371. better for you, say amen, and a better reward that

  372. is waiting for you. Harled Louyer Amen. In prayer, total

  373. dependence on God. That's all we are saying. God, we

  374. can achieve a lot on our own because you have

  375. given a skill. You created us in your image handed

  376. Luyer Amen. We can create things, we can think, we

  377. are imaginative. We can't be innovative and can do a

  378. lot of things. But no, we understand that we are

  379. servants of God and God wants absolute dependence on him

  380. all the days of our lives. That's why we pray.

  381. In prayer, we take it all to God, hal they

  382. Louyer Amen. And Jesus Christ, we are look when look

  383. in the scriptures, we realize that he got tangible results

  384. to his prayers and petitions. And the other thing that

  385. you take notice that he prays most of his prayers

  386. were based on knowledge, wisdom, and understanding of the principles

  387. and protocols of the Word of God. Very very important,

  388. and that is what qualifies him to be a teacher

  389. in the discipline of prayer. It's very very important. Remember,

  390. like I said, ask one one, he said, what Amen,

  391. honorable with you. I've told you what Jesays began to

  392. do or teach and do cheach and do. He qualifies

  393. to teach because he did it, halleluia, and he got

  394. their answers. But they were all in the principles of

  395. the Word of God. Very very important point. You want

  396. to be an effective prayer, or you are praying and

  397. you are not steadying your way, you will go off track.

  398. Loujah Amen, Hallelujah Amen. We let's go ras Setlahia. Lord,

  399. you are dependable, my Sandakabaya. That is why we choose

  400. to depend on you, my sunda Hia Lord. We call

  401. on you Ima row soka lahaia, not our wheels, but

  402. your will be done in our individual life, in our
