  1. Sharalon. Beloved, you are welcome to today's Morning Glory Devotion. We

  2. are Pastor and Dickiness Kilsen from the Harvest Chapel International

  3. Danie Michul Massey, and we are humbled to be bringing

  4. you another episode of our Morning Glory Devotion. Let us

  5. kind of share a word of prayer. Dear Father, thank

  6. you for the blessing of today. As we study your word,

  7. Please transform our lives with the truth that only comes

  8. from you in Jesus his name. Amen, let us kind

  9. of take a confession for today from Joshua chatter one

  10. the verse eight. Joshua chatter one the verse eight. This

  11. book of the Law shall not depart from my mouth,

  12. but I shall meditate in it day and night, that

  13. I may observe to do according to all that is

  14. written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous,

  15. and then I will have good success. Amen, beloved. Today's

  16. message is titled My Father's Business. My Father's Business, written

  17. by Miss Amanda Baden. Our scripture reading shall be taken

  18. from Luke Chapter two, from the verse thirty six to

  19. thirty eight, and then we will continue with the verses

  20. forty six to forty nine. Look chapter two from the

  21. verse thirty six to thirty eight, and then the verses

  22. forty six to forty nine. I will be reading from

  23. the new King James version. Look chapter two, the verse

  24. thirty six to thirty eight. Now there was one honor

  25. a prophetess, the daughter of Funua, of the tribe of Asher.

  26. She was of a great age and had lived with

  27. her husband seven years from her virginity. And this woman

  28. was a widow of about eighty four years, who did

  29. not depart from the temple, but saved God with fastings

  30. and prayers ninth and day, and coming in that instant,

  31. she gave thanks to the lawd and spoke of him

  32. to all those who looked for redemption in Jerusalem, continuing

  33. with the verse forty six to forty nine. Now, so

  34. it was that after three days they found him in

  35. the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both

  36. listening to them and asking them questions. And all who

  37. had him were astonished at his understanding and answers. So

  38. when they saw him, they were amazed, and his mother

  39. said to him, son, why have you done this to us? Look,

  40. your father and I have sought you anxiously, and he

  41. said to them, why did you seek me? Did you

  42. not know that I must be about my father's business. Amen.

  43. The Lord add his blessings to the reading and hearing

  44. author's word, Thanks being to God. Amen, my father's business,

  45. my father's business. Beloved, we are saved and sanctified to

  46. live for an audience of one God, our Father, our

  47. master and Savior. We are no longer our own as believers,

  48. left to live for our own dreams and aspirations. We

  49. are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works

  50. which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them

  51. ephicients too the verse ten. And as such we must

  52. live every day prioritizing and being preoccupied with the Lord's agenda.

  53. When we are saved, we are saved to live for God,

  54. to give our time, time, talent, and treasures for the

  55. sake of God's will. But it is easy to get

  56. carried away by personal ambition or chasing after money, especially

  57. in our days of social media. Social media has a

  58. way of making us desire to become great, to leave

  59. a legacy, to build a name, compete with others for

  60. the spread of mammon. But beloved that is not the

  61. blueprint Christ came to demonstrate. Though he had power, Jesus

  62. didn't seek personal ambition, political power, fame and riches. Rather,

  63. he spent a lot of time fellowshiping with God so

  64. that he would know and do the will of his Father.

  65. The apostles carried on this legacy, working tirelessly to preach

  66. the Gospel to all nations until their last breath. And Beloved,

  67. we also have been saved to do the same. Beloved,

  68. we are the workers in the field, soldiers of Christ, stewards,

  69. and ambassadors of the Gospel, And so every day we

  70. are given breath, we must have Kingdom priority on our minds.

  71. We must ask God for his agenda and for our

  72. specific roles in that grand agenda. Obeying the Word, abiding

  73. in Christ, preaching the Gospel, edify the Body of Christ

  74. with our gifts, and bearing the fruit of the spirits

  75. are key mandates for every believer, be him young or old,

  76. and you must do your part and fulfilling these by

  77. the help of the Holy Spirit. We must ponder these

  78. questions every day. Who am I living for? Am I

  79. about my Father's business? Are you working tirelessly to fulfill

  80. a personal or worthy ambition or is the Father's will

  81. your priority while you still have breath? Are you brutally

  82. focused on what God has called you to do? Or

  83. are you distracted by the blueprints of the world Beloved,

  84. Let us live every day like Jesus, being busy about

  85. our own father's business. Amen, God rishly bless you. Let

  86. us kind of shall our memory verse for today. Our

  87. memory verse is taken from John chapter fourteen, the verse

  88. thirty one. John fourteen, verse thirty one, and I read

  89. from the New King James version. But I would do

  90. what the Father requires of me so that the world

  91. would know that I love the Father. Come, let's be

  92. going that I would do what the Father requires of

  93. me so that the world would know that I love

  94. the Father. Come, let's be gone. Amen, let us kindly

  95. share a word of prayer. Our gracious, heavily Father, We

  96. say thank you for the gift of your word. Thank

  97. you for this understanding and this clarion call to return

  98. to the Father's business. Help us and grace us to

  99. be busy about our father's business, to be found doing

  100. like you we're doing. Let's not seek our own ambition,

  101. but seek the agenda and the mandate that God has

  102. left for our lives in the mndy name of Jesus,

  103. with prayer, with thanksgiving. Amen, Beloved, gorgeously bless you for

  104. staying all through today's Morning Glow Devotion. Candly join us

  105. again on Monday for another episode of our Morning Glory
