  1. Sharon be loved. Thank you for tuning into today's morning

  2. glory devotion. I am Amanda Baidu from Harvest Chapel International

  3. Dayamicel Mercy. I'll be facilitating today's session. Please let's pray. Father.

  4. We thank you so much for today. We thank you

  5. for this great privilege to hear your word. We ask

  6. that you prepare our hearts to receive this word and

  7. grant us the ability to abide by it in Jesus' name,

  8. Amen beloved. Let's take a confession from the Book of Josha,

  9. chapter one, verse eight. This book of the Law shall

  10. not depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate

  11. in it day and night, that I may observe to

  12. do according to all that is written in it. For

  13. then I will make my way prosperous, and then I

  14. will have good success. Amen, love it. Our topic for

  15. today is titled sin dependent, Sin Dependent, and our scripture

  16. reading is taken from Genesis chapter three, vers. Forty six.

  17. Then the serpent said to the woman, you will not

  18. surely die, for God knows that in the day that

  19. you eat of it, your eyes will be opened, and

  20. you will be like God, knowing good and evil. So

  21. When the woman saw that the tree was good for food,

  22. that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree

  23. desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit

  24. and ate. She also gave to her husband with her,

  25. and he ate. Amen, love it. Our second scripture is

  26. taken from Jeremiah chapter seven, in verse twenty three to

  27. twenty four. But this is what I commanded them, saying,

  28. obey my voice, and I will be your God. And

  29. you shall be my people, and work in all the

  30. ways that I have commanded you, that it may be

  31. well with you. Yet they did not obey or incline

  32. their ear, but followed the counsels and the dictates of

  33. their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward. Amen.

  34. Sin dependence beloved. Seeking independence from God and his instructions

  35. is the beginning of a pathway of sin and destruction,

  36. like the ocean is to the fish. Man was created

  37. to dwell in the presence of God. In the beginning,

  38. God created man in his own image for the purpose

  39. of serving him. God breathed into Man and he became

  40. a living being. Therefore, our entire existence is in God.

  41. Because of the deception of the devil, Eve was leo

  42. into refusing to obey God and rather leaning into her

  43. own understanding. She listened to the lie, looked at the fruits,

  44. and thought about it, choosing her understanding over God's word. Brethren,

  45. wor we seek to be independent from God. In our

  46. thoughts are words, and our actions we become dependent on sin.

  47. The last instructions are there for our good. He knows

  48. what is good for us, and we must be humble

  49. enough to stay under his authority, under his word, obeying

  50. him even when we don't understand or when it is

  51. too hard for us. Jesus demonstrated this in the wilderness belaved.

  52. Unlike Eve, who was in a garden with access to

  53. all the fruits she could have had, Jesus had been

  54. fasting forty days and forty nights in the face of

  55. a legitimate need of hunger. He still didn't bow to

  56. the devil's deception, but he stood under the instruction of God.

  57. Despite his need, he obeyed. Beloved, we must not lean

  58. on ourselves for how to live this life. We will

  59. fail and feel miserably into sin and distraction. God's word

  60. is our lifeline, our guide, and our safety. Independence from prayer,

  61. from the word, from fellowship and from the instructions of

  62. the Holy Spirit are as sure path. Today, let us

  63. keep the word in our hearts and ask for grace

  64. to obey it even when it is hard or when

  65. we don't understand. Because God's way is the way of life. Beloved,

  66. don't be sin dependent. Obey the word Shalon our memory

  67. verse is taken from someone one nine verse eleven. Your

  68. word have I hidden in my heart that I might

  69. not sin against you? Amen? Please let's pray Father, We

  70. thank you so much for today, for this reminder that

  71. when we choose to be independent from you, we are

  72. working on a pathway of sin. We pray for their

  73. grace to stand under your word, stand obeying your word

  74. even when we don't understand it all when this is

  75. difficult for us, Help us to always choose your word

  76. over our thoughts, over our understanding, over our independence and

  77. Jesus Amen love. Thank you so much for tuning into

  78. today's morning glory devotion. Please stay tuned for more spirit

  79. filled content and have a wonderful day. Shalom.
