Pleas the Lord, oh my soul and all that is
-
within me, bless his holy name, Sharon Beloved, thank you
-
for tuning in to today's morning glory devotion. Facilitating the session.
-
Zamanda Baidu from Harvist Chapelain International, Dyamko Marci. Please let's pray. Father.
-
We thank you so much for today. We ask that
-
even as we're about to hear your word, that you
-
prepare our hearts. Please make them a fertile ground to
-
receive this word in Jesus' name, Amen, beloved, Let's take
-
our confession from the Book just Short, chapter one, verse eight.
-
This book of the Law shall not depart out of
-
my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night,
-
that I may observe to do according to all that
-
is written in it. For then I will make my
-
way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen,
-
we laveed. Our topic for today is titled num by
-
Your Days, and our scripture reading is taken from Collusions
-
chapter three, verse one to four. If ye then be
-
risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where
-
Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your
-
affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
-
For ye are did and your life is hid with
-
Christ in God. When Christ, too is our life shall appear,
-
then ye shall also appear with Him in glory. Amen.
-
Our second scripture is taken from First Corinthians, Chapter fifteen,
-
verse nineteen. If in this life only we have hope
-
in Christ of all men most miserable, Amen, number your days, beloved.
-
Death is an inevitable consequence of sin, woven into the
-
fabric of our existence, and we must apply to ourselves
-
the wisdom of God while we have breath. Scripture tells
-
us in Hebrews Chapter I, verse twenty seven that it
-
is appointed for man to die once and after death judgment.
-
It acknowledges and often reminds us that we will not
-
be on earth forever. But more importantly, there is a
-
second place awaiting us after death, a place of judgment. Beloved.
-
It is easy to live your life only focused on
-
your needs, responsibilities, aspirations, and dreams. The world bids us
-
to often follow the ladder of success, pushing to toil
-
day and night to achieve its matrice of success riches fame, security, power, pleasure,
-
and popularity can become your oh focus. If you are
-
not cognizance of the fact that this life is not
-
all there is. Death is a strange phenomenon which often
-
causes us to painfully ponder about our live decisions when
-
it happens to those close to us. But as beloved,
-
we must not wait for a funerals before we think
-
about eternity. When we become born again, the Holy Spirit
-
lives inside of us as a seal and testimony of
-
the life of God in us, and he begins to
-
transform our hearts and minds in sanctification all towards eternity.
-
As a believer, you must be conscious of the life
-
hereafter and then ask for wisdom and guidance as to
-
how to live your life here on earth. Others may
-
chase after fame and fortune, but you have to chase
-
after God, numbering your days by seeking his face for
-
his purpose and specific assignment for your life. Because you
-
have eternity in mind. As painful as death is, we rejoice,
-
as believe us, in knowing that it is not the
-
end and we will live again. So let us number
-
our days and apply our hearts to the Lord. Let
-
us live with eternity in focus, and do everything according
-
to the wisdom and guidance of God. Shaloon. Our memory
-
verse is taken from Psalm ninety, verse twelve. So teach
-
us to number our days that we may apply our
-
hearts onto wisdom. Amen, Please let's bring year. Lord. We
-
thank you for this reminder that we muster number our
-
days because there's judgments after death. We pray in the
-
name of Jesus, that you help us, our God, to
-
turn our focus away from living on earth only and
-
to think about eternity. Please help us to seek your
-
face for your purpose and specific assignments for our lives,
-
and help us, Old Lord to be able to live
-
with eternity in focus. We thank you for an answered
-
prayer in Jesus' name. Amen, Beloved, thank you for tuning
-
in to today's morning glory devotion. Kindly stay tuned for
-
more spirit filled content and have a blizzard day. Amens.
