  9. the Word of Truth.

  10. God richly loves you.

  11. Welcome to the logo streamer are with God savant Reverend

  12. Doctor Joseph bar Being, head Pastor of Harvest Chapel International Commercy.

  13. And now to today's message.

  14. Amen, let's take our gold fashion from Joshua one verse eight.

  15. The spoke of the Law shall now depart out of

  16. my mouth, but I shall meditate in it today at night,

  17. that I may observe to do according to all that

  18. is written in it. But then I will make my

  19. way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen,

  20. God richly bless you. Why don't you take your seats?

  21. So let's see how best we can round up a

  22. month of other in prayer, hallelujah. And our text has

  23. been from looked Chapter eleven, verse one. Now it came

  24. to pass as he was praying in a certain place

  25. when he seized that one of his disciples said to him, Lord,

  26. teach us to pray as John also taught his disciples, Amen,

  27. and some of the viter lessons. Let's see how we can.

  28. There's going to be our last discuss on it. So

  29. let's see how sometimes it is when the month is

  30. ending that you realize that so much a lot more

  31. to say on prayer. But I think the days ahead,

  32. every day we get opportunity to talk about prayer. So

  33. we just see how best we can wrap it up,

  34. and then trust God that in the succeeding days and weeks,

  35. when the subject matter of prayer comes up, either through

  36. exhortations or whatever, or former teaching services, we can continue

  37. to look at the subject of prayer because it's so

  38. necessary that as we see and there don't name disciples

  39. coming to Jesus and making a petition that he ought

  40. to teach them the rudiments of prayer, just as John

  41. the Baptist had taught his disciples, meaning that they recognize

  42. a certain deficiency in our prayers. And the iron is

  43. that you will never be satisfied with your prayer efforts

  44. because there will always be some gaps, and those guys

  45. can only be filed by God who answers prayer. Because

  46. the desired goal or outcome for everyone who praises that

  47. you have certain positive outcome or results according to what

  48. you are thinking. Once again, we are reminding ourselves that

  49. this world is not our world, and so our thoughts

  50. are not his thoughts. If our thoughts are in sync

  51. with his thoughts and with his timing, with his planning

  52. and everything, then most of him we know that He

  53. is going to answer those prays. And even when God

  54. is so desirous of answering those prayers, there is always

  55. op position that Neil chapter ten makes it very clear

  56. that on the day that you set forth your heart

  57. to seek the face of God in prayer and in

  58. first and he says an answer was given, and then

  59. an says, we're being communicated in the realms of the spirit.

  60. But it faced the position, and the Angel of God

  61. who brought the answers to Daniels seemed to say that

  62. I have now, after twenty one days on your knees.

  63. I have now seen many had a break to bring

  64. you the answers. That's what the answers they won, they

  65. were ready. But he says that the Prince of Persia,

  66. Satanic Hos, hindered my delivery of the answers to our prayer.

  67. So prayers even when God says yes, then Satan and

  68. his good say no, and sometimes battles man beforet And

  69. this brings us to the point where that without understanding,

  70. like I said, the rudiments of prayer and all the

  71. other things, sometimes we get frustrated, Harley Lawyer. So it's

  72. not simply that you just go to God your petition

  73. in and hey press to He just answers them no.

  74. And that is why we keep on saying that your

  75. prayer life is never going to be able to take

  76. off if you're not a man and a student of

  77. the Word of God. You need it. We need to

  78. understand all these nuances that are behind the scenes, all

  79. the things that are playing behind the scenes in our

  80. prayer efforts and enterprises. Lots of things are ongoing, and

  81. the Word of God is going to give us insights

  82. into all these things before the final outcome. A lot

  83. of us live off praying because or have been yes.

  84. But a lot of people are no praying because they

  85. said God will not answer them hardly, Louia, But you

  86. and I we must live and thrive on prayer, say

  87. big a man, we have to praise one of the

  88. lessons that we keep on saying. I don't know if

  89. I'm permitted to say that. Jesus was a praying machine.

  90. Lou hear, he was a praying machine. He lived on prayer.

  91. He thrived on prayer. He flourished by prayer, having those

  92. intercourses with God. And so sometimes the Bible says, early

  93. in the morning, before everybody would rise up, he will

  94. look for a place of solitude, and there and there

  95. he prayed. Sometimes after a tire day's work, the Bible says,

  96. he will go out into the mountains, and there alone

  97. he will pray to God and seek the face of God. Hallelujah.

  98. And what that did to his life and ministry is

  99. what we are seeing in the gospels. Hallelujah. In shorts.

  100. It enabled God to stay near to him all the

  101. days of his sojourny here on earth, and even in

  102. death and on the cross, he was still talking with

  103. God through all his pain and orgonizing moments before his

  104. successful departure out of this where he was praying. I

  105. wanted to take that again, Halene Louiah Amen, Amen. I

  106. said he lived and thrived on prayer. And what prayer,

  107. consistent prayer did to his life and ministry is that

  108. it enabled God to stay near to him all the

  109. days of his life. Oh he so journey here on earth,

  110. and even in death on the cross, he was still

  111. talking to God through his pain, through the agonizing and

  112. find out moments, he was in touch with God in prayer, hallelujah.

  113. Before he departed successfully when he said it is finished,

  114. when he knew that he had had a very successful

  115. so janney here on earth, Haley Louiah Amen. That was

  116. Jesus Christ. How much less we the son of God

  117. made prayer very very important on his daily schedule. Halleluia.

  118. So prayer is simply no negotiable for every child of God.

  119. He's our big brother, hallelujah. Even though he's our creator,

  120. he has consented to be a big brother. And he

  121. says that we should just imitate him, imitate him. So

  122. we look at his life and he said, no, no,

  123. why do is Jesus was a prayer machine, then I

  124. need to be a terrible prayer, terrible machine. Hallelujah. Amen.

  125. We have to pray, We have to pray, We have

  126. to pray, Hallnelujah. Amen. Amen. So you're saying that prayer

  127. is non negotiable for every child of God, and Jesus

  128. lived it out, demonstrated it all through the Gospel narrative

  129. to leave us with that legacy of the sex City

  130. of prayer in our lives as believers and in our

  131. work with God. Here on hallelujah. We see him praying

  132. in the morning, praying in the afternoon, praying in the evening,

  133. praying at night, praying, drule ministry hours, praying your midstyle,

  134. and every suitable occasion he offered prayer sometimes some like

  135. like like calling lives rose out of the through multiplying

  136. the loaves of bread. He just found it necessary to

  137. just demonstrate what you all to all that look miracles,

  138. they don't just happy. Somebody must be willing to under

  139. get it with prayer. And you and I know that

  140. that's why we can't. We we can't stop praying then

  141. to stop. We are not going to stop praying, and

  142. we are not going to stop fasting because the two

  143. go together. Can you add that for me? Hallelujah? Amen. Amen,

  144. you know it's all. Prayer ultimately demonstrates dependence on God

  145. because in prayer we are telling God, I can't make

  146. it on my own. I need your guidance, I need

  147. your direction and I need most of all your grace

  148. supplies to do your will. Doing the will of God

  149. is tough, can be tough. I believe that was why

  150. Jesus was always so when he comes back, he said, guys,

  151. you know something. I'm just here to do whatever I

  152. see my father do it. He just gives me pictures

  153. day by day of what if six and bobs that

  154. are accomplished on his behalf. We are not here on

  155. our own. We are here to do God's will. Amen.

  156. That's why we say we go to God in prayer

  157. every morning so we can get we can get our

  158. marching orders for the day. He's a commander in chief

  159. and we receive the directions from him. Hallelujah. And we

  160. must in every way possible demonstrate our reliance and our

  161. dependence on him, if not anything at all, because he

  162. is God and he sees everywhere. Hallelia he knows everything, omnipotent, omnissi.

  163. It's all powerful, all knowing, and ever pressent everywhere. Hallelujah.

  164. So once again you see the connection your word life,

  165. You understanding of this God who has called us into

  166. a covenant relationship and work with him, and how it's

  167. invariably tail us into our prayer enterprises more knowledge, more understanding,

  168. more wisdom about God. The more effective you are in

  169. your prayer, the more willing you even be able. Will

  170. you will be willing to engage Him in prayer because

  171. he has the tools, he has the power, he has

  172. a resource, She has the angels to effect the things

  173. that we want to see down on our behalf Halene

  174. Lujah Amen. So in prayer, we are demonstrating dependence on God.

  175. We are telling God, I can't make it on my ode.

  176. I need your guidance, I need your direction, I need

  177. the great supplies needed to do your will. And all

  178. we are saying, just help me out. That's all prayer

  179. I say, just help me out, Just help me out.

  180. It doesn't mean you're stupid, it doesn't mean you don't

  181. know what you are Haleelijah and the place where prayer

  182. becomes everybody. God is when we are convinced that as

  183. for this one, I know what I want. This is

  184. what my heart is saying, this is what my mind

  185. is saying. Those are the difficult times. Oh, let's pray

  186. for God before adventures. Oh, I thought, this one is

  187. for God's domain, So they will pray. Can we pray

  188. for our beloved? No? No, no, that's for the man.

  189. The kind of why if I want to marry I

  190. know God doesn't know. And then we'll come and say, oh,

  191. ask God said that. You said, you give me the

  192. desires of our heart. And this is the desire of

  193. my heart. And Betty has showed up its close. Harry,

  194. do here Amen. So most of them, when it comes

  195. to the things that concerns are heart, we are reluctant.

  196. We say God this and no, Grea, I already know

  197. what I want to do. This is the desire, this

  198. is what my heart is saying, this is what my

  199. mind is saying. But the other things that last will gay,

  200. kingdom advancement. Now I'm God, you said, okay, we should pray,

  201. pray Lord and sending more laborers harvest is right, But

  202. the laborers are feel very easy to pray Hallly, look

  203. here he may where to live, where to stay, who

  204. to get married to those personal things that we say, No,

  205. this is a noble area for God. This one I

  206. must decide. And yes, no, it is these areas that

  207. trip us and cause us to fall and to backslide

  208. and to turn our way. Harlene Louis. Amen. Now the

  209. next point that we are making, we are arounding up.

  210. We've said most of this prayer is a learned at

  211. and scale is the fact that for effective communication and

  212. conversation with God, we need to be taught. That's why

  213. he asked that teach us. So we are making that

  214. point again. God should teach us. We need to be

  215. taught and we should open ourselves up. And God has

  216. given us his Holy Spirit to undertake that assignment on

  217. his behalf. The Holy Spirit will teach us how to pray.

  218. And what he's going to do is that it's going

  219. to take us to the way and you apply the

  220. truths of the Word of God on our heart and

  221. on our mind. He'll bring wisdom, knowledge understanding of the

  222. ways of God. And I don't know, I still feel

  223. that you know, at the top of all our setting

  224. of the scriptures, one of the key things that I

  225. believe helps a lot in understanding or in our engagements

  226. with God in prayer is to know about God himself.

  227. Knowing God, knowing God. It's very, very, very important if

  228. you be able to engage, because, like we always say,

  229. at the tail end of all our prayer enterprises is

  230. the Almighty God. It is up to him to say yes,

  231. no weight, hallelujah amen. So if you don't know him,

  232. and that is why the Holy Spirit is given to

  233. help us to get to know God. Theoretically and experientially.

  234. There are some prayers as you grow in Christ. At

  235. the point in that you pray again, you stop asking

  236. about topics you know, and you begin to know that

  237. now at your growth and your stage in Christ, you

  238. must be asking for guns. Say a big amen, amen,

  239. because the topics when you ask for guns, when you

  240. will bring it, hallelujah Amen. Remember he says that the

  241. blessings of the Lord it makes rich. He has to

  242. do so, so give you good topics. But the battle's first,

  243. the victory first, and then the booty will be shared.

  244. It's never the case when when we are at war,

  245. we are dividing the spots of war. How come, No,

  246. he must conquer. First look through the Old Testament, look

  247. through Joshua's conquest of Cana, and you see in all cases,

  248. even the first one that was the one that Jericho

  249. one he said, the spoils are mine, they have to

  250. be dedicated to me. And then the next one Ai

  251. he said, you can't have it. Amen. So there's never

  252. the case where we get to, if you like, share

  253. the booty. When we have not prevailed in prayer, and

  254. the fact that we won't be blessed won't be reward

  255. in our prayer enterprises, either individually or collectively, it should

  256. energize us to do that. And all that we need

  257. to do is to say, God, we are depending on

  258. you and to stay on our knees. Harlene Loujah. Amen.

  259. So God is the one who is going to teach,

  260. and I'm saying that at the top of our list

  261. should be how best can I know God for myself?

  262. Knowledge theoretically, experientially one of the key things as you approach,

  263. as we try to get to know God. Remember, God

  264. is not a man. Amen. God is not a man.

  265. God is not He is not like us, He's not

  266. in our leak. Harlene Louis. God is God, our creator

  267. and our maker, because he said sometimes most of him

  268. that Look, if you don't learn how to reverence God,

  269. we are still we are still talking that we are

  270. coming to our Father. I think that's that's where were ended.

  271. If you don't reference you understand that God, it's a

  272. holy God. Maybe that's where I'm going. It's not just

  273. a deity like the other deities, and the idols and

  274. of this were created by human hands by his God.

  275. He's not a man. He's not our coal equal, so

  276. that we will reference him in our heart, in our attitude.

  277. You say, when all these enterprises, praere enterprises and the

  278. rewards they are linked to serving God on the front lines,

  279. and I see a believer that you you don't want

  280. to save God, but you wonder the words. It will happen.

  281. You will be frustrated, You'll be beating up. You will

  282. be beating up, You'll be challenged by satter. God said

  283. if you anna you and he says, I'm a holy God.

  284. So you watch your life. You watch your life. Yeah,

  285. people are praying in Churu, but you look at their

  286. life and you know the immediately say it didn't notify

  287. they are not praying and will call forward for the

  288. first that prayer no camel. But afterwards then like I said, no,

  289. where did you learn that from? It's a waste of effort.

  290. So you'll be frustrated. God is a holy God and

  291. you want to stay and you are saying, we are

  292. depending on you. We are coming to have conversation with

  293. a holy God, and all our garnments are hallelujah. Next

  294. month we are let me talking about next month. Order

  295. in our conversations has that that's going to be very interesting. Hallelujah. Amen,

  296. Oh God, God have mercy on us. Hallelijah. We pray,

  297. and then after the prayer will not but the things

  298. that God has in like you want us to be doing,

  299. we just do it. We end up and big gossip

  300. and all kinds of things, and then we nanify all

  301. our prayer efforts forgetting that God is like holy God

  302. and the Holy Spirit who energizes us. That's for me.

  303. For me, Amen, it's not that you don't see things.

  304. So it's not that people don't hurt you who come

  305. to that. It's not that you don't see all the

  306. things that are going on. Part when you look at

  307. the presence of God. You have to go to God,

  308. and you don't want your prayer turn us and lines

  309. to be clock. You will follow God. You imitate God

  310. in holiness because you know now when you are coming

  311. with to God with staying garments. The angels protocol demands

  312. that you behindered protocol demands that the angel says, care off.

  313. He said, Holy God, you can't. You can't approach. If

  314. you dare you, you die. He'll kill you. The brightness

  315. of his countenance will try to kill you. So better

  316. go cleanse your art camp and hold those conversations. He's

  317. not a man. It's not a usual confidant and gossip confidant.

  318. So you check yourself. You check your relationships because he

  319. has said that our relationship is not just we and

  320. him Halenluiah. So you need grace, you need you need resources, Haleneluiah.

  321. God is a Deity's not like us. We are falling

  322. off on holy beans and I'm saying yeah, mouth and

  323. I not. This aspect of his being is the ignored.

  324. And when we ignore it, we fumble and stumble in

  325. our approach to him. We famble and stop you. He said,

  326. shut up, shut up, clean up, your art. Forgive go

  327. and say sorry, Harry Louyer. You look this prayer thing,

  328. and the police man will wrestle with you, will wrestle

  329. with you until you yield to his persuasion. And then

  330. the peace of God that pans up all understanding, he

  331. says it to mount up to form a world and

  332. a garassing around your minds. So long as you say me,

  333. as for this Christian life, I will leave it according

  334. to my terms. Forget about prayer. There's no order in

  335. your prayer life. You'll be there that. That's why we say,

  336. is there there two blessings? For it's meant for all

  337. the children of God. So long as God has said,

  338. oh this this my son, this my daughter she has

  339. she's genuine andsince here in a bonnet, gain confession, and

  340. so gay grant him entrance into the Kingdom of God.

  341. Then Holy Spirit, who seal you. But when we grieve him,

  342. when we live a life that grieves him, and then

  343. he falls up. So the grace supplies that we need.

  344. We don't. We can't hear what he wants us to do.

  345. And that's why we come to tear three blessings where

  346. our blessings are tied to the specific assignment for which

  347. He created us and redeemed us in due time. That

  348. is where the reors is. It's attached to executing the

  349. will of God for your life. David is well known

  350. by everyone because that was it. He executed God's will

  351. for his life, cooperated with God, and became the greatest

  352. king that God. He was a man of God's own heart.

  353. So when you don't and you are just loitering around

  354. in the kingdom, like we say, Kingdom, Lloydsy, You're just

  355. There're just there? Why should they bless you? Why should

  356. he even annoint you to do what? Because the anointing

  357. goes with the identification and execution of that assignment that

  358. He has on your life, the reason why He created you,

  359. and the holy space is just red and waiting, Harlene Louiah.

  360. And remember he say, the weapons of our warfarevy are

  361. not carnal weapons, My Mighty through God, to the pulling

  362. down of strongholds in our life. You think canality can

  363. pull down strongholds? Insult or insult and the things that

  364. sometimes mushrooms and then flourishes in church, gossiping, backbiting, envy, jealousy.

  365. This one said this, this one said that, this one,

  366. I will talk to you again. You think that is

  367. going to get you? There no no doubt that when

  368. the magician appears in church, we all run to him. Hallnlujah.

  369. You know what I'm talking about, because no, why you

  370. don't need any conditionalities for holiness. And then we get

  371. duped and then we think that we say, it is God,

  372. God who sent the magician. Pastor he told me everything

  373. in my life, or he even mentioned my phone number.

  374. I said, what do you mean by that? You think

  375. the devil is She said, the devil doesn't know your

  376. phone number, your house number. God this more interested in football,

  377. us saying, look, guys, a war to be fought should

  378. stop the entertainment in the house of God, Halen loujah

  379. your telephone number. And then the churches there's heleing and

  380. claiming that read look, read a word, and let us

  381. let's open ourselves and let the Holy Spirit teach us.

  382. And you know, look, look, hey, God, God is serious

  383. about this war. That's why he sent Jesus Christ to

  384. come and die. It's not a time for entertainment. We

  385. put our food aside for three days, three nights. We

  386. are not eating, and you come in to entertain. Halenelujah, Amen, Halenelujah.
