MGD: Know Your Place - 2

Charalam, beloved, you are welcome to today's Morning Glory Devotion.

We are past that in taking as Kielsen from the

Harvard Shappel International Dynamicol Marsin, and we are grateful to

God to be coming away with another episode from Morning

Glory Devotion. Let's us kindly share a word of prayer.

Dear Father, thank you for blessing us with you today

and for giving us another opportunity to hear your way.

Kindly lead the way in Jesus mighty men.

Amen.

Amen, let us kindly take a confession for today from

Jee Church chapter one, Ver's eight. Gelle Church, chapter one,

Ver's eight.

They spoke of the law shall not depart from my mouth,

but I shall meditate and net day and night that

I may observe to do according to all that is

written in it.

For then I will make my way prospers, and then

I will have good success. Amen. Today's message is titled

know your Place, Part two, Do not forget who puts

you there? Know your Place Part two, Do not forget

who puts you there. Our scripture reading shall be taken

from Esther chapter one, westend to twenty two. Esther chapter one,

westend to twenty two, I will be reading from the

new International version. On the seventh day, when King Jesus

was in high spirits from wine, he commanded the serving

Knochs who served him, Mehumman, best Harbona, bigth Abachtha, zither

and Caracas to bring before him Queen Versiti, wearing her

royal crown, in order to display her beauty to the

people and nobles, for she was lovely to look at.

But when the attendants delivered the king's command, Queen Versiti

refused to come. Then the king became furious and burned

with anger. Since it was customary for the king to

consult experts in matters of law and justice, he spoke

with the wise man who understood the times and were

closest to the king, kashner Shea, Admatha, Tashush, Mary's Marsna

and Memuchan, the seven nobles of Persia and Media, who

had special access to the king and were highest in

the kingdom according to the law. What must be done

to Queen Vasiti, he asked, she has not obeyed the

the King, but also against all the nobles and the

if it pleases the King, let him issue a royal degree,

and let it be written in the laws of Persia

and media which cannot be repealed, that Queen Versiti is

never again to enter the presence of King jesses. Also,

let the King give her a royal position to someone

else who is better than she. Then, when the King's

edit is proclaimed throughout all his vist realm, all the

women will respect their husbands from the least to their greatest.

The King and his nobles were pleased with this advice,

so the King did. As Memochan proposed, He sends dispatches

to all per of the kingdom, to each province in

its own scripts, and to each people in their own language,

proclaiming that every man should be ruler over his own

household using his native tongue. The Lord add his blessings

to reading and hearing of his word.

Do not forget who put you there. Yesterday we lends

that Anna has an order. David understood that all those

Saul had failed, removing him from the throne was God's responsibility,

not his. Knowing our place means recognizing the boundaries God

has established and working humbly within them. Today we consider

another danger that quietly robs many people of God's blessings.

It is the danger of forgetting who put us where

we are. One of the greatest tests of character is

not adversity that success. Hardship often drives us to our knees,

But success has a subtle way of lifting our eyes

from God and fixing them upon ourselves. The blessing that

once made us grateful can slowly make us proud. Before long,

we begin to act as though what God graciously gave

us was something we end entirely by ourselves. Queen Varsity

teaches us this lesson. King Jesus had guarded the nobles

and princes of his empire for a magnificent feast. While

Queen Versiti hosted a banquet for the woman in the

royal palace. It desired that Vasity be brought before the

gathering to display her beauty, for she was beautiful to behold.

To everyone's surprise, she refused. Scripture does not tell us

everything that shaped her decision, but it leaves us with

an unforgettable outcome. Somewhere between receiving the crown and wearing it,

she forgot where it came from. The throne had been

entrusted to her by the king, yet she now carried

herself as door, the position belonged to her by rights.

In one proud decision, she lost what years of favor

had placed upon her life. The quickest way to lose

what God has given you is to begin acting as dough.

You gave it to yourself. Not long afterwards, another young

woman entered the story. Esther arrived with none of Vasti's privileges.

She was an oftened Jewish girl. Living in exile, she

had neither royal blood nor influence. Yet, when God's favor

lifted her to the throne, humility remained her greatest honorment.

Even as queen, she continued to honor Mordecai's counsel. When

Christis came, she did not trust her position, beauty or intelligence.

She called God's people to fasten and prayer, recognizing that

the throne could never accomplish what only God could do.

Esther never forgot who had placed her there. The same

lesson appears again in the life of King nebook at Neser.

Standing upon the roof of his palace, he admired Babylon

and declared, is not this great Babylon that I have

built by my mighty power and for the honor of

my majesty Daniel, Chapter four, the verse thirty. Before the

words had finished leaving his mouth, Heaven answered him. The

kingdom departed from him, and the mighty king was humbled

until he learns that the most high rules in the

kingdom of men. The difference between Esther and the book

at Neser was not the greatness of their position, It

was the posture of their hearts. Beloved, Perhaps God has

entrusted you with a flourishing business, academic excellence and ministry

influence happy family or opportunities others only dream about. Rejoice

in his blessings, but God your hearts carefully. Never allow

God's gifts to become substitutes for God himself. Always remember

who opened that door. Always remember who sustained you. Always

remember who gave you favor when others overlooked you. For

the quickest way to lose what God gave to you

is to begin living as though you obtain it without him.

Let us always remain small in our own eyes, so

that Christ may always remain great in ours. God richly

bless you. Let us kindly take our memory verse for today.

us kindly share a word of prayer. Heavenly Father, thank

you for every blessing of place in our lives. Keep

our hearts from pride and self reliance. Let us never

forget that every good and perfect gifts comes from you.

Teach us to walk humbly and to depend on you continually,

and to use every blessing for your glory in Jesus's name.

Amen, God richly bless you for being a part of
