to be coming away with yet another episode of our

Morning Glory devotion. Let us kindly share a word of

prayer our having you, Father, thank you for another opportunity

at life as we spend time with you in this devotion.

Transform our lives by your way and Jesus.

My mea amen. Amen, let us kindly.

Take a confession for today from Juha chapter one, verse eight,

Chatter one, verse eight, they spoke of the law.

Shall not be pad from my mouth, but I shall

meditate day and night that I may observe to do

according to all that is written in it. For then

I'll make my way prosperous, and then I will have

good success.

In Amen. Today we bring you the final part of

the message Know your Place Part three, Stay humbled before

God's word. Know your Place Part three, Stay humbled before

God's Word. Our scripture reading shall be taken from Second

Kings chapter seven, verse one to eleven, and then from

the assisteing to to second King Stapture seven, verse one

to eleven, and then from sixteen to twenty I will

be reading from the new International version. Elisha replied, hear

the word of the Lord. This is what the Lord

says about this time tomorrow, a seer of the finest

flower will sell for a shekel, and two seers of

ballet for a sherkele. At the gates of Samaria, the

officer on whose arm the King was leaning said to

the manocole, Look, even if the Lord should open the

flat gates of heavens, for this happened, you will say

it with your own eyes, answered Elisha, But you will

attack us. So they got up and fled in the

dusk and abandoned their tents and their horses and donkeys.

They left the camp as it was and ran for

their lives. The men who had leprosy reached the edge

of the camp, enter one of the tents and ate

and drank. Then they took silver, gold and clothes and

went off and hit them. They returned and entered another

tent and took some things from it and hid them also.

Then they said to each other what we are doing

is not right. This is a day of good news,

and we are keeping it to ourselves. If we wait

until daylight, punishment will overtake us. Let's go at once

and report this to the royal palace. So they went

and called out the city gatekeepers and told them we

went into the Arabian camp and no one was there,

not a sound of anyone, only turted horses and donkeys,

and the tents left chase as they were. The gatekeepers

shouted the news, and it was reported within the palace

the verse sixteen to twenty. When the people went out

and plundered the camp of the Ramians, so a seer

of the finest flower sold for a shirtle, and two

seers of ballet sued for a sheircle, as the Lord

had said. Now the King had put the officer on

whose arm he leaned, in charge of the gates, and

the people trampled him in the gateway, and he died

just as the man of God had fortilled. When the

king came down to his house. It happened as a

man of God had said to the King, about this

time tomorrow, a seer of the finest flower will sell

for a sheirkele, and two seers of ballet for a

shakele at the gates of Samaria. The officer had said

to the man of God, Look, even if the Lord

The man of God had replied, you will see it

with your own eyes, but she will not eat any

of it. And that is exactly what happened to him,

he died. The Lord add his blessings to the reading

and hearing of his word.

Fancy God, Amen, know your place Part three, stay humbled

before God's word, beloved. In the pat two of Know

Your Place, we lend that one of the quickest ways

to lose what God has given us is to begin

acting as though we gave it to ourselves. Vasty for

God who placed the crown upon her head, but esther

never did. And we saw how humility preserved what pride forfeited.

Today we arrive and perhaps the greatest test of humility

our response to the word of God. From our opening scriptures,

we saw that the city of Samaria was in the

gripe of one of the worst famines in its history.

Food had become almost impossible to find, Desperation failled every home.

Then into that hopeless situation, the prophet Elijah spoke an

astonishing promise. Tomorrow about this time, a measure of fine

flowers shall be sold for a shekel. It sounded impossible.

Standing beside the king was one of his chief officers,

a man of influence and authority. The scriptures describe him

as the officer upon whose hand the king leaned. He

was no ordinary man, Yet instead of receiving the word

with humility, he answered, look, if the Lord would make

windows in heaven, could this thing be Notice what happened.

He was not speaking to another officer. He was responding

to the word of God spoken through God's prophet. He

forgot where he stood. His reasoning quietly rose above God's revelation.

Elijah answered solemnly, in fact, you shall see it with

your eyes, but you shall not eat of it. And

exactly as God had spoken, the farming ended. Overnight, food

became super abundant. The officer witnessed the miracle, yet died

at the city gate before he could partake of it. Beloved,

this account is not preserved merely to warn us against unbelief.

It teaches us something deeper. There is a posture the

heart must maintain whenever God speaks. We may not fully

understand his ways. We may not see how his promises

will come to pass. We may wrestle with questions, but

we must never place our reasoning above his word. The

safest place for every believer is beneath the authority of scripture.

I take it again, The safest place for every believer

is beneath the authority of Scripture. This same temptation still

confronts us today. God says, forgive our emotions, say hold

on to the offense. God says, give our calculations. Say

wait until there is more. God says, do not fear

our circumstances, say panic. Every day we are deciding which

voys will occupy the highest place in our hearts. Beloved,

Knowing our place means allowing God's word to have the

final say. It means approaching scripture not as its editor,

but as its students, not as its judge, but as

It's sevant. For whenever God's word and our opinions stand

or post, one of them has bow. May it never

be God's word, precious one, Let us know our place.

Let us remain humble before his word. Let us trust

even when we cannot trace him. For heaven and earth

may pass away, but his word shall never fail. God,

richly bless you, Let us kindly take our memory verse

for today. Our memory verse is taken from Anxiet chapter

fifty five, from the verse aide to nine, ASI chapter

thoughts than your thoughts. Aimen, Please let us share a

word of prayer. Our heavely Father, We thank you for

the blessing of this word. Please give us a heart

that always trembles at your word. Please deliver us from

pride on belief, and every tendency to place our reasoning,

no matter how sound, above your world. Teach us to

trust you even when we cannot understand your ways. Please

let your word always have the highest authority in our lives.
