  2. this opportunity to share in fellowship in the Word, and

  3. welcome to our morning glory devotion. This is pasta Jeffrey

  4. and Wassa, and I'll be facilitating this episode. Let's pray

  5. Father will bless you and give you praise for this

  6. time in your word. We pray that you open our

  7. hearts in faith and grant as grace to go out

  8. there and respond to your word. In Sheeez nineteen, name

  9. a man. Let's take our confession today from Joshua one

  10. the verse eight. This book of the Law shall not

  11. depart out of my mouth, but I shall meditate in

  12. it day and night, that I may observe to do

  13. according to all that is written in it. For then

  14. I will make my way prosperous, and then I will

  15. have good success. Amen, beloved. The topic four today is

  16. Rest for the Weary Soul Part one, Rest for the

  17. Weary Soul Part one, or take our scripture reading from

  18. Matthew chapter eleven, the first twenty eight to thirty. Come

  19. to me, all you who labor and are heavy leading,

  20. and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon

  21. you and leave from me, for I am gentle and

  22. lonely in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

  23. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light,

  24. a man rest for the weary soul. Part one. Have

  25. you ever reached a point where your soul felt deeply tired?

  26. Not just physical exhaustion from a long stay's work, but

  27. a wariness that touches your heart, your thoughts and emotions,

  28. a kind of tiredness that even sleep cannot fix. This

  29. is how wariness of the soul is. It shows up

  30. as confusion in the mind and heaviness in the heart,

  31. and many people carry this silently. Outwardly, we may seem okay,

  32. but on the inside we are struggling to keep going

  33. the course. Yes for this soul wariness are many. For some,

  34. it is financial pressure. For others, it is family responsibilities

  35. and other workplace and business pressures. Many others are walking

  36. through seasons of affliction and crisis. Often these burdens do

  37. not come one at a time. Life has a way

  38. of stacking pressures and responsibilities together on you. You may

  39. be dealing with financial stress while facing family tension, all

  40. in the midst of emotional exhaustion. And the weight and

  41. stress multiplies. In the state of weariness, warry persists, and

  42. this keeps the mind restless. You lie down, but your

  43. thoughts do not rest. You try to relax, but your

  44. heart remains anxious. The soul becomes heavy another weights of

  45. the mini what ifs. In these moments we begin to

  46. feel alone. Sometimes we will draw, will become quiet. We

  47. question whether anyone truly understands, and sometimes we even wonder

  48. does Jesus care about what I am going through? Beloved?

  49. The answer is a resounding yes. Jesus himself recognized this

  50. condition of the human soul. That is why he spoke

  51. these powerful words in Matthew eleventh, verse twenty eight. Come

  52. to me, all ye who labor and are heavy laden,

  53. and I will give you rest. Jesus's great invitation is

  54. for all who libor. The invitation is not limited. It

  55. is not for a special class of people. It is

  56. for everyone who is tired, burdened, and overwhelmed. It is

  57. for the one who is barely holding it together, for

  58. the one who has reached their limit, for the one

  59. who is silently crying on the inside. Jesus sees he

  60. understands the pressure, the pain, the confusion and the exhaustion.

  61. He does not ignore your struggles. He acknowledges them, and

  62. he is ready to respond with divine compassion. The beautiful

  63. truth is that Jesus does not just diagnose the problem,

  64. but he also offers a solution. He does not say

  65. try harder, He does not say go fix yourself. He

  66. simply says, come beloved. This is the starting point of rest.

  67. Rest does not begin when life becomes easy. Begins when

  68. we respond to the invitation of Jesus. That is why

  69. before anything changes around you, something begins to change inside

  70. of you when you tend to him, beloved. The first

  71. step to finding rest for your weary soul as a

  72. recognizing your deep need and accepting this great invitation of Jesus.

  73. You don't have to carry it all alone. Jesus is

  74. calling you into a relationship where you will find rest

  75. for your soul beloved in him. Through rest for the

  76. weary soul begins a man. Let's take our memory Verse

  77. for Matthew, chapter eleven, the verse twenty eight. Come to me,

  78. all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I

  79. will give you rest. Come to me, all you who

  80. labor and are heavy leaden, and I will give you

  81. rest a man. Let's pray. Father, we thank you for

  82. this great invitation. We thank you that all of us

  83. who are tired, weary, and exhausted, have the opportunity to come.

  84. That we come to you today. We submit to you.

  85. We pray that you will grant rest for our tired souls,

  86. lift the heavy burdens, and help us walk in true

  87. divine rest that only you can give a man. Be loved. God,

  88. bless you for connecting and being a part of this episode.

  89. We know that you have been blessed. We want to

  90. encourage you to continue to connect with us from more
