-
Doctor Joseph Being, head Pastor of Harvest Chapel International Commercy.
-
And now to today's message.
-
Go to a one ver's a before we take our sis,
-
let's go let's spoke of the law shall or depart
-
out of my mouth, that I shall meditate in it.
-
To day right that I may observe to do according
-
to all that is written in it.
-
Or then I will make.
-
My way prospers, and then I am half of success
-
a man. God bless you, Oh only welcome to the
-
presence of God. And we will continue with our discourses
-
on how we can bring order to our conversation.
-
Amen, what we've been trying to do. Get a diagnosis
-
of our problem if we even admit or confess that
-
there is a problem with our conversations. Because admittedly, if
-
you don't see any problem with the way you talk,
-
the way you communicate, with your conversations with other people,
-
then there's only be a problem taking the even like
-
the pills or the bitter pills or remedies that are
-
needed to fix us. So we are asking us so
-
the first thing that we say, you should be you're
-
and is there anything wrong with my life?
-
Is there anything wrong with my conversation the way I talk? Amen?
-
The best person is God. Amen. Is sometimes the problem
-
is that.
-
When we're anytime that we men, we start doing it
-
to help and sometimes too. I mean God speaks to us, Yes,
-
through the authority of the script, but he speaks to us.
-
God can communicate to us. Do any means we said,
-
the Holy Word is there?
-
The Holy Spirit is the deep impressions of the heart,
-
spirit feel. Counselors commonly say providence, God can speak.
-
But the problem sometimes we have is that when men.
-
Come, oh you are judging me, Go and remove the
-
plank in your eyes. Just say said it, because when
-
we look at each other, we find out that when.
-
We were all like James said, he said, none of us.
-
It's perfect.
-
So we find the situation where everybody says that my
-
friends stay in your corner. Okay, no problem me, I'm
-
staying my corner. I don't have a problem by you
-
that you say you are also staying in your corner.
-
Can you approach God that one?
-
We will not do it because immediately you start approaching God,
-
you don't find it difficult crime when people rebuke it,
-
because you now understand that God could use or would use,
-
and that spirit feel counselss to speak into your life.
-
So when somebody says that, oh, your lung wag and
-
your conversation are not nice, you.
-
Will take it in good faith. After we need to
-
fix it. Amen.
-
So people come to church and say it's oh, no,
-
I've set the sinner's prayer. I'm fine, stay in your corner.
-
God says, don't judge anybody. Go and remove the plank
-
in your eyes before you come and so, and immediately
-
you do that, then we are cutting.
-
Ourselves off the grace. The grace remed is that are
-
needed to fix us. Amen.
-
So we can't help each other iron sharpnets. Everybody is
-
supposed to stay in his corner. But the thing, it
-
doesn't work that way. God uses man to correct us,
-
to speak to us, to chastise us. So we find
-
a situation where now the church the fastest, a lot
-
of pastes can review me. I review I correct because
-
I draw my authority from the world, and I'm afraid
-
not to say what God wants me to see.
-
Amen, A hallelujah. I know I must admit it now.
-
Sometimes when I I said, Hey, what did I say?
-
I just I just give myself off because I have
-
decided that I want to be the friend of God
-
number one before the friend of men.
-
Amen. Get it. That's how it w was.
-
Godface everything, God Face. If you decide that you be
-
a friend of men first the men, they will disappoint you.
-
They'll go.
-
So stay close to God, befriend God, draw the great
-
and the resources that God supplies from his present, and
-
then we go well, positioning now to dispense it towards man. Amen,
-
even the apostle Jim James James who was writing. We
-
read James chapter three hours. We were ready to see
-
the problem that we have. You know what's admitting that
-
we are not all perfect. John will also admit the
-
same thing that there's no man that sayeth not.
-
But then there is a certain.
-
Grace that the Gospel leverages to those that have come
-
and want to be fixed.
-
Amen.
-
He says that you will find your that you will
-
never be in the position where you are continually selling sin,
-
confessing confessed.
-
He says, no, you can't do that. Why the Holy
-
Spirit and his rod of correction. Amen.
-
The design for fixing us demands cooperation with the Holy Spirit.
-
That's why we say he will enroll you in the
-
school of the Spirit, because it's all going to be
-
the application of the Word of God.
-
Hallelujah. Amen.
-
So Abelle said, yes, I have a problem and cooperated
-
with God. That's how come Jesus says that he was
-
the first prophet. He was a righteous man, the first prophet. Now,
-
if you contrast him to King Kay said, no, I
-
don't have a problem. I'm a victim of myself. That's circumstances.
-
Have you heard it before? This is the way I
-
was created. I'm not responsible. It is Papa Adam. Are
-
you still blaming Adam? And for how long will you
-
be blaming him?
-
Oh?
-
As for me, I was born into this dysfunctional family.
-
That's how we hold our conversation. You take me off,
-
But as for me, I know that God has sets me.
-
It's not sentimentality. And you are not growing your experience stunted.
-
You can't bind, you can't pray, you can't worship, you
-
can't smile. That I'm talking about the joy of the Lord.
-
It's a strength. Amen. When you see a defeated believer,
-
you know when you are in change. You know we
-
see the change, the liberation, the joy is absent. Hallelujah.
-
It's all because we are not cooperating. Cocaine said, I'm blameless.
-
I'm a victim.
-
I refuse to be blamed. And we saw even you
-
saw his conversation with God. Am I my brother's keeper?
-
When God, your creator, asks you can come here?
-
Why is your brother?
-
He said, Hey, Brother, am I my brother's keeper? Leave
-
me alone? No longer, no doubt. He he made a
-
man and Apolso don't mixers understand that he made it
-
his brother because he allows Satan to take control of
-
his life. Halen louis Amen, And so the problem we
-
have been saying it that that conversation that they had,
-
and that also tells us, you know that Adam and
-
Eve had with with the serpent or Satan masquerading as
-
the serpent around the tree of the knowledge of good
-
and evil and the damage it had.
-
It also tells us the kind of people who.
-
Should be holding conversations with, Amen, the kind of conversations
-
that we.
-
Because there's a spirit behind.
-
So it's a win win situation if you just allow
-
yourself to be governed by the principles of the web
-
of God, that's how we're going to be fixed.
-
Amen, harlen Lujah. Now, so let's go on.
-
So if yes, now I want to assume that all
-
of us, yeah, we are not towing the line of
-
k We are agreeing that there's a problem with our conversation. Amen,
-
So let's go on. If then we are admitting that
-
there's work to do to correct it. And then the
-
first point that I want to make that nobody can
-
do it for you. You must take frontline position.
-
Amen.
-
Those of us will still blame Adam. The Bible says
-
that they shall not be that word the Father shall
-
eat sad grapes. And then the children's teeth be set on.
-
Each man shall be worth responsible or you won't say Amen.
-
And all these are in the word. So Adam will
-
be judged differently as an individual. Yes, we have we
-
hit the.
-
Majority of the blame on him. But now God has
-
put in the remedies. What are we doing about it?
-
Amen?
-
So we must take frontline position. You and I must
-
be active and look for the remedy. Number three must
-
recognize that you can't fix it on your own. But
-
we are agreeing that God can't fix it. And it
-
all starts. We once again the bone again, experience it
-
lays the groundwag for the remedies to be applied. The
-
bone again, the bone again, Harlen Louia.
-
Amen.
-
In mar Ju chapter seven, when Jesus was speaking to
-
or on the in the Salmon on the Mound, can
-
we quickly look at it? Semon on the Mound seven
-
seventeen to twenty, look at it? Even so, every good
-
tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit.
-
Healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can the disease.
-
Tree bear good fruit.
-
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut
-
down and thrown into the fire.
-
Thus, you will recognize them buy their fruits. Amen. I
-
hope you are getting it. So you can't now get this.
-
You can be born again for a long time and
-
never you Now you have decided that ask for me
-
the new Man project, I will never embark on it.
-
You die. Amen.
-
The fruit God Jesus is saying that we must fix
-
the tree so that now the tree can bear good fruit.
-
So God goes to the root of the problem. Amen.
-
So if we don't cooperate with him so that we
-
can fix the root of the problem, the tree has
-
to be fixed so that the fruits Amen. And then
-
the one in is there. He says that every tree
-
that does not bear good fruit is cut down and
-
thrown into the fire. Once upon a time some of
-
us who were born again, but how many years ago.
-
You can't do the one and not do the other
-
and refuse to do the other. You can't get born
-
again and not sign up for the new Man projects.
-
Say a big Amen. We need to get some of
-
these truths well. Else if in your born again, that's
-
what Jesus is saying that for how long he will
-
cut you down because he has said it you are
-
not cooperating.
-
And there has not.
-
You're not seeing any fruiting. How long are you going
-
to get born again? As you lie there and you
-
are not. You're refusing to get rooted, you are refusing
-
to be watered, you are refusing to grow up.
-
You are us into mature.
-
When you are lying down idle, it will decay and
-
you're rot and the farmer has every right to cut
-
you off.
-
Amen. He says, a healthy three.
-
Cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a disease to ree
-
bad good fruit. So Jesus wants us to tackle the
-
tree itself, the foundation all the lawyer, Amen, so that
-
we can pick it up from there.
-
So we are saying, the born again and then the
-
new Man. You can't pick one and.
-
Leave the other one follows after the other, or else
-
should I use the word you're born again becomes nal
-
and void because at the point in time it will
-
have to be cut off.
-
Amen.
-
But once you are born again, then invariably, as we
-
are saying, you don't even get to decide whether it's
-
you sign up for the new Man project.
-
He will do that, Amen. But the bonne again is so.
-
Key, get it because it is you that assesses that
-
I need God and God exists.
-
It's always on It's not just emotional thing. It's based
-
on a setting.
-
If you like understanding knowledge and understanding God exists. Day
-
that come must believe that God is and He s
-
a rewarder of them that diligently seeking. I assess my life,
-
I am under conviction. I realize that I don't like
-
my life. I want my life to be fixed. And
-
that is why I march to the cross and then
-
respond to the invitation to come for a fixing.
-
Amen. Amen.
-
And so now that I've come, and then the one
-
who is going to fix me says that we are
-
going to go through a certain process. Number one, I'm
-
going to seal you with my Holy Spirit. And when
-
my Holy Spirit comes, it's going to bring you to
-
you into your life to burn your life, all resources,
-
every resource that you need. So we can't do that fixing.
-
It is never the case that God will fix you,
-
and it will fix passive you.
-
Amen.
-
That's why we say you must take frontline position. God
-
can't fix passive you. He needs your will and your
-
engagement with your will, your cooperation.
-
Amen.
-
When he fixes every part, like we always say theory
-
and practice, he will bring the practice to make sure
-
that the thing is well, has been fixed, and then
-
we'll move on to the next place that needs fix it.
-
Amen.
-
So this one we are fixing our or bringing order
-
to our conversations with God. And we are trusted. Amen
-
that hopefully, if we took the lessons that God taught us,
-
our prayer life is on course.
-
We have fixed that. Amen.
-
And one of the key ones that I remember very
-
well God saying to emphasize was the last this about
-
we ain't recognizing that God is not a man.
-
God is a holy God, our creator.
-
It's not or equal and the need to approach him
-
as always with reverence, Amen, with reverence.
-
Knowing that He's a holy God.
-
So the more we are approaching with ten garments, the
-
more our prayers and our conversations with Him are hindered.
-
Amen.
-
And if we took our lessons, then we are doing
-
something about it. God fixed my thought life, fix my words,
-
fix my actions. I need to fix it because now
-
I've learned that You're a holy God. Sometimes my thought
-
life I know they are in limica to you and
-
the disgrace to your pet.
-
Can you fix me? So you find out that as
-
you can not not the convention, that's prayer.
-
So you are so for course, and you are praying,
-
and you are studying the Word and all those things,
-
and you just you are hungry and testy for it
-
is there a blessed know that hunger and thirst for righteousness.
-
You want to be doing right, to be seen to
-
be doing right, so that God can fix you, and
-
then your prayers and intercessions can be had so that
-
we can have tangible results improves in our prayer discourses
-
with God. Then now he says, turn, that's what he's
-
telling all of us, my daughter, Can we now look
-
at our relationship with me, our conversation now that we
-
have fixed me, our conversation between us, can we look
-
at our conversations and discourses with our fellow brothers and sisters, which.
-
Is what we are doing.
-
Amen, And he are taking us to the rule that
-
we need to admit that there's something wrong with us
-
and the damage is bad. It needs a lots and
-
lot of concentrating wanted to be fixed.
-
Amen.
-
The cut was deep, is deep. It's not super official,
-
and it cannot be brushed aside.
-
He says. The entire law and the it's all about
-
loving God and loving man. And then that's it. So
-
we can love God if we don't do the other one.
-
Like I always say, there say a mispraits con join
-
together love God. You have to love man.
-
We fix our conversations we've got. We must fix our
-
conversations with our fellow men.
-
Amen.
-
And what are the steps? Like we said, we are
-
braising our minds that you know we have gone. We've
-
done the first the kids, the bonnegae.
-
Number two. It's not you who does it. Number two
-
is the Holy Spirit who will do it? Amen.
-
God brings the church. We respond to the child. Now
-
it says, okay, I agree. Then the Holy Spirit comes
-
in brings all the resources. And then, like we say,
-
he enrolls you in school. I'm going to fix you.
-
But I'm going to fix you with the authority of
-
my word. So you you will need to come every
-
day to the word.
-
Ah. And we have too old to be doing quiet time?
-
Is it our problem? Best Corinthians, Chapter we one, Best
-
twenty two. Poor saying the problem that he had, he said,
-
the Greek and then the Jew the Greek, he said.
-
They are looking for knowledge.
-
Quiet time, radio, Bible pray every day. Now it's for children.
-
It's for children. It's for children. The simplicity of it,
-
the Lord, we'll know, we'll know, Papa. We are past
-
that place of we want rather lesson. So now that's
-
the Jew, so both Greek and Jew, Greek, Jew, the
-
simplicity of the gods.
-
No, no, no, no, it's too simple. Quiet time. But
-
that's how we grew. That's why we grow. That's how
-
we grow. Church going on. No, No, once in a while,
-
I'll go to church.
-
No, you're not serious. They are simple rules. So no,
-
we want something, we want something. Amen, I'm sure.
-
I'm sure if God had said that. You know, guys,
-
you know something.
-
I'm going to say a hundred day first, and then
-
you are completely Oh, people will do it. But a
-
simplicity of wake up every morning and come and talk
-
to me, Come and talk to me, it says yes.
-
For Jews demands science and Greek sik wisdom twenty three. Listen,
-
but we preach Christ crucify a stumbling block to Jews
-
and folly to gentiles.
-
So two twenty two.
-
Thirst Corinthians one twenty two tells us about that the
-
Greeks amongst us demands for more knowledge. Whiet time is
-
too simplistic read your Bible every day. It's not so
-
important because you have all come to the point where yes,
-
that's another problem. We all have the first certain broad
-
panoramic view of what the Bible talks about.
-
It's a summary. So that's it. No, that's not why
-
God wants us to come every day.
-
It builds friendship, and like we say, it helps you
-
descend the voice of God. Remember what we learned last
-
there are three voices, three voices in the world. It's
-
a very complex and complicated well that we find ourselves.
-
It's not as simplicitic and well that's is intermixed or
-
interlaced and interconnected with the spiritual world.
-
Where Paul wants us that look, guys, we are not
-
fighting against.
-
Flesh and black, but against principalities and powers and spiritual
-
forces of darkness hold up in the heaveny places. Daniel
-
less us understand that he will and the Angel of God.
-
In chapter ten, he prayed and then he was doing
-
a passial first for twenty one days, and then somewhere
-
somehow at the twenty first day, that is when the
-
Angel of God appeared and told him that on the
-
first day, when you decided to seek the face of God.
-
God gave me an answer to send to you.
-
But on my way in delivering that answer, I was
-
opposed by the Prince of Passia, who said, no, So
-
you are wrapping your mind around all these things, and
-
then you know that, look, we have a problem, and
-
the problem is that this thing is not just cannot
-
be just fixed by humor. And I thought, you need
-
a partnership with the Holy Spirit of God to understand.
-
And I appreciate some of the dynamics.
-
Of living in a world full of evil and good angels,
-
wicked men and wicked and wicked women and good men, and.
-
And all these pictures they are carefully laid out in
-
the scriptures.
-
For so that you the Son of God, you and
-
I the children of God, that are enrolled in the
-
school of the Spirit.
-
We are reading our Bible every day. The Holy Spirit
-
guests to educate us. Amen, hallelujah.
-
Because whilst we are, when we finish, and you read
-
your quiet time, and then you go out there and
-
then go and intermeddle or interact with falling man. You
-
sometimes you come back again. And anything that ah there
-
is the Word of God, is it through is it
-
going to be.
-
Powerful to me. Maybe you didn't even plan it, buy
-
in that trutual or whatever.
-
You are sitting they are playing and there's this radio
-
celebrity who are discussing marriage, and then they are telling
-
you how you should treat your husband.
-
And everybody in.
-
That they say yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, just
-
to nullify what you have read from the Word of God.
-
And they seem so voicy, fai us, So you say
-
the whole thing. You must come back to the Word
-
of God again. So radio Bible every day is so important,
-
as I said, so because we sometimes have that panoramic view,
-
we think that going every day, going every day, it
-
is a waste of time.
-
Noon, going every day helps you. God teams and trains
-
some saying your year. But the spirit of your soul
-
you can hear him and saying his boy in the
-
midst of all the other voices. Whose voice, who is
-
speaking to me.
-
That on trained here cannot descend the voice of God.
-
You will be confused because Satan always appears as an
-
angel of light. And when during the temptations of Jesus
-
we see that what did he do? He applied the
-
way he tried to confuse it. If you are the
-
son of God, turned these stones into loaves of bread,
-
and he said, no, it is written.
-
It is written. Then he came again and said, oh,
-
he has.
-
Said that if you are the sern of God, just
-
throw yourself nor on and down, and he set his
-
angels to bear you down. He says, no, shall not
-
tell the Lord our God. Hallnlujah a maen.
-
So that is what reading the Bible every day is
-
going to help you. Amen, Very very important. It's going
-
to help you.
-
And then once again, after we have read it, we
-
must go out there and do it and validate it.
-
Hallelujah Amen. We must go out there and validate the
-
word of God. We do it little by little, hallelujah Amen.
-
Now the next key step after we quiet time, the
-
Holy Spirit will take you to school. One another very
-
simple thing that through that we have learned over the years,
-
we are just reactuating.
-
Just go to church.
-
When God saves us, he plants us in church among
-
fellow believers. Ion sharpen at ion. You can't do it
-
on your own. The Christian life is not meant to
-
be lived out in isolation. We thrive this in the
-
company of other believers.
-
Amen, hallelujah. Amen.
-
You know so sometimes we think that oh, no, I
-
mean too much church life you had it before? Or
-
sometimes cry you cry, you.
-
Agree this too. Amen. There are days say I did,
-
are we not doing too much church and all that? No,
-
I don't. I don't.
-
As tough as it is, it helps us grow. It
-
has its critical rule in helping us grow.
-
Amen. Because you are out there once again.
-
In the world, out there where, sometimes maybe even in
-
the office place or where you work in the marketplace, you.
-
May find out that you may be the only believer.
-
And as the other voices rise up, you know and
-
all you are hearing all that, you can be confused.
-
But when you come amongst believers and like, let me
-
use the word spirit field believers.
-
Amen.
-
We are all embarking on the new band project. We
-
are all desires of seeing cheap, of getting ourselves fixed.
-
Amen. Then we are going to be able to help
-
each other.
