-
And with me is my wife Dickness Felicia. We are
-
glad to facilitating today's devotion. We pray that even as
-
we look into the word of God, our minds will
-
be opened and transformed to seek and to do the
-
will of God. In Jesus mighty name. Amen, Amen, be love,
-
and let's share a word of prayer. Father, we thank
-
you and we give you praise for this morning. Even
-
as we have come together to hear your word, to
-
look into your word, we pray that our minds will
-
be liberated in the name of Jesus. Help us to
-
understand your word and to work in your ways now
-
and forever. In Jesus' mighty name, we have prayed. Amen, Amen, beloved.
-
Let's take our confession together from Joshua Chapter one. This aid,
-
this book of the Law shall not depart out of
-
my mouth, but I shall meditate in it day and night,
-
that I may observe to do according to all that
-
is written in it. For then I will make my
-
way prosperous, and then I will have good success. Amen, God,
-
rigely bless you beloved. Today's theme for consideration is lend
-
a hand. Lend a hand, and our text, which is
-
also the memory verse, is from Galicians chapter six. The
-
best two are we reading from the translation for translators.
-
It is.
-
When there are ones who have problems, you should help
-
each other. By doing that, you will complete what Christ requires.
-
I take it again, Galicians, chapter six, the first two
-
translation for translators. When there are ones who have problems,
-
you should help each other. By doing that, you will
-
complete what Christ requires. Belaved. Here ends the reading of
-
the Word of the Lord. Turns be to God.
-
Learned a hand, dear one, Imagine going to the market
-
or supermarket and buying quite a lot of items. Whilst
-
walking home, carrying all these items all by yourself, and
-
sweating under the weight of it. From nowhere, a good
-
Samaritan approaches to help you carry them. How would you feel.
-
I can't imagine. It will be nothing by relief and joy.
-
Particularly in our world today, a lot of people are
-
carrying heavy burdens, and a good Samaritan approaching to help
-
them will be like a glass of cold water on
-
a sunny afternoon. People are facing troubled times with their finances, marriages,
-
raising of children, job precious on met expectations, driving them
-
to nuts, wars, and many more. Many people are crying
-
for help from God Lord and in desperation from any
-
other source they may feel relief can come from. They
-
need at least someone to come alongside with them, to
-
bear their burdens with them and to lighten the weight
-
of the burden so they can continue with life. In
-
Firs the Slonians, Chapter five is fourteen, the apostle Paul
-
was inspired to edge the church in Theassalonica to comfort
-
their discourage, help the weak, be patient towards all beloved.
-
Will you be that good Samaritan God can count on
-
at least to help others and especially fellowsns to cope
-
with the hardships of the time. All God requires of
-
you is to say some words of encouragement to someone
-
who feels like giving up, To hold someone else's hand
-
and share a word of prayer so that they are strengthened.
-
To provide a physcal service in one way or the other.
-
To give some godly counsel to someone to know the
-
way to go to give out some of the money
-
God has blessed you with so someone can at least
-
afford a meal or meet a certain dy need. In Ephicients,
-
chapter four, verse twenty eight, we are admonished as Christians
-
to work hard with our hands so that we may
-
have something to share with the ones who has needed. Beloved,
-
there are a thousand and one little things we can
-
do to lessen the burdens people are carrying, or strengthen
-
them so they do not give up on life, but
-
strive to the end. As you go through life day
-
by day, ask the Holy Spirit to open your heart
-
and eyes to the needs of people. Ask him to
-
give you insight as to what to do with each situation.
-
He opens your heart and eyes so that through you
-
relieve and encouragement will come to others. Beloved, you may
-
be equally carrying a burden and wondering why you should
-
help someone else to bear histe or his But as
-
the Lord Jesus said, it is more blessed to give
-
than to receive asks Chapter twenty, verse thirty five, So
-
you need not wait to get every where one of
-
your issues resolved before helping others. The principle of sowing
-
and reaping is worth many repraises. As it is written
-
in Proverbs chapter eleven, verse twenty five, a generous person
-
will be enriched, and the one who provides water for
-
others will himself be satisfied. Dear one, as you help others,
-
God will also send other people to help you. It
-
is in helping others that sometimes we get our burdens
-
rolled away. We all may have one trouble or the other,
-
but we cannot use that as an excuse not extend
-
a helping hand to another. Particularly even in our troubles.
-
We can't make much more impact and mean in sharing
-
our own experiences and how we are coping. Precious One,
-
God created us for each other's benefit. There's a common
-
good for which you were fashioned. So do not turn
-
a blind eye to the sufferings of others, or a
-
death fear to their cry for help. Do not compound
-
their troubles for them either. Rather learn the helping hand
-
in the way you can. For the Bible says in
-
bearing one another's burden we fulfill the law of Christ,
-
that is the law of love. For us. The Lord
-
has said in John chapter thirteen, Versus thirty four and
-
thirty five. I give you a new commandment to love
-
one another. Just as I have loved you. You are
-
also to love one another. Everyone will know by this
-
that you are my disciples.
-
If you have.
-
Love for one another, dear one, go out there and
-
learn a helping hand to the one who needs it. Amen. Please,
-
let's take our memory verse from Galicians chapter six, verse two,
-
from the translation for translators. When there are ones who
-
have problems, you should help each other. By doing that,
-
you will complete what Christ requires. When there are ones
-
who have problems, you should help each other. By doing that,
-
you will complete what Christ requires. Please, let's share a
-
way of prayer. We thank you Father for reminding us
-
of your command to us to lend a hand to
-
those who are hard pressed and carrying heavy burdens. It
-
is a prayer God that as we journey through day
-
by day, you open our hearts and our eyes to
-
see the burdens, and you give us wisdom and the
-
resource to be able to lend a hand and help.
-
We thank you, We bless you in Jesus' name. Amen.
-
Amen, pressure is one I believe you have learned a
-
lot today and It's worth noting that no one is
-
an island one way or the other. Everyone needs someone
-
else at one time or another. There is a common
-
good for which you were fashioned, So do not turn
-
a blind eye to the sufferings of others or a death.
-
Ear to their cry for help. I believe even as
-
you yield helping others, God will also send others to
-
help you. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen and Amen, Beloved God,
-
richly bless you for joining us today, so we come
-
your way again, same time tomorrow. Please keep your focus
-
right here on Radio ACI today so you can maintain
-
a spirit feeld day. We also wish you can recommend
-
this to your friends and families so they can also
-
be spiritually nourished. Please have a blessed day.
