Sharon Beloved, You're welcome to today's Morning Glory Devotion. We
-
are Pastor Indiginess Kills In from the Harvest Chapel International
-
Dynami Kumasi, and we are humbled to bringing to you
-
another episode of our morning Glory devotion. Let us kindly
-
share a word of prayer, Our Healy Father, We thank
-
you for this beautiful morning and for the gift of life.
-
We canly asks that you come and lead the way
-
in Jesus' name. Amen, let us can lead. Take confession
-
for today from Joshua chapter one, the verse eight. Joshua
-
chapter one, the verse eight. This book of the Law
-
shall not depart from my mouth, but I shall meditate
-
in it day and night, that I may observe to
-
do according to all that is written in it. For
-
then I will make my way prospers, and then I
-
will have good success. Amen. Today's message is titled when
-
Faith Costs Everything, When Faith Costs Everything, written by Pastor
-
in dickeness po for our scripture. Reading shall be taken
-
from he Brews chapter six, the verse ten to fifteen.
-
He Brews six the verse ten to fifteen. I will
-
be reading from the New King James version he Brews
-
chapter six, the verst. Ten to fifteen. God is not
-
unjust to forget your work and labor of love which
-
you have shown towards His name. In that you have
-
minister to the saints, and do minister. And we desire
-
that each one of you show the same diligence to
-
the full assurance of hope until they end, that you
-
do not become sluggish. Imitate those who, through faith and
-
patience inherit the promises. For when God made a promise
-
to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he
-
swore by himself, saying, surely, blessing, I will bless you,
-
and multiplying, I will multiply you. And so after he
-
had patiently endured, he obtained the promise. The Lord add
-
his blessings to the reading and hearing of his word.
-
Thanks be to God, Amen. When faith costs everything, When
-
faith costs everything, there are days when the hardest part
-
of the Christian work is simply stay. Input You have prayed,
-
you have fasted, and you have wept behind closed doors,
-
Yet the circumstance remains completely unchanged. In those quiet hours.
-
The temptation to give up does not always arrived with
-
a loud scream. It often comes with a soft whisper,
-
asking what is the point of waiting any longer? If
-
your heart feels heavy today, you are not the first
-
to walk this dusty road. The writer of Hebrews points
-
as to a quiet truth. The promises of God are
-
never inherited by faith alone, but by faith and patience.
-
We love to celebrate faith, but we often overlook the
-
patience that holds it together in the dark. Think of
-
the saints who walked before us. They were not made
-
of stone. They were flesh and blood, just as any
-
one of us. They felt the cold edge of disappointment.
-
They knew the heartache of delayed answers on pay debts
-
and other on met expectations. Yet when giving every reason
-
to walk away and seek comfort in lesser things, they
-
chose to trust God with the outcome. They settled in
-
their hearts that God was faithful, even if the answer
-
took a lifetime to arrive. Consider those three young men
-
in Babylon Sharrak measure can abete me go, the command
-
from the Babylonian king Nipucadnesa, was bound or burned facing
-
a roaring fairness. Their answer to the king was simple
-
yet unshakable. God could deliver them, but even if he
-
did not, they would not bow. Their trust was not
-
tied to a quick escape. It was anchored in the
-
character of God himself. Such is the testimony that God
-
is seeking. The crown of life is reserved for those who,
-
in the face of all positions, still submit their wills
-
to that of God. The rewards of the Kingdom of
-
God are for those who overcome the challenges on the
-
journey of faith, not for those who give up. Beloved,
-
your trial today may not be a fiery fairnace, or
-
a lion's dead or a Roman jail, but the pressure
-
to compromise feels just as real. God is calling on
-
you to keep your footing. Do not throw away your
-
confidence in God and his promises. The God will held
-
the saints of all is holding you right now, and
-
this very are and the saints who have run the race,
-
finished the course and kept the faith at sharing you
-
on right now, eagerly waiting to welcome you at the
-
finishing line. Pressure is one. This worthy cause is very possible.
-
We can indeed make it. Keep on keeping the faith.
-
God richly bless you. Let us kind of take our
-
memory verse. For today our memory verse shall be taken
-
from he brushed of the sixth the verse twelve. He
-
bruised the sixth verse twelve. I will be reading from
-
the new King James version that you do not become sluggish,
-
but imitate those who, through faith and patience inherit the promises,
-
that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who,
-
through faith and patience, inherit the promises. Amen, let us
-
kindly share a word of prayer. Our heavely Father, we
-
are grateful for deeply encouraging our hearts today, in the
-
moment when our waiting is long and the temptation to
-
give up wispers in our years. Please grant us the
-
grace to stand firm, help us to uncoor our trust
-
in your ever favent and unchanging character. Grant us the
-
grace that we, just like the faithful Saint of old,
-
will submit our wills completely to yours and never throw
-
our way out, confidencing you in Jesus' mindy name, Amen, beloved,
-
God's promises are never inherited by faith alone, but by
-
faith combined with patience. So do not throw away your
-
confidence for the God who held the saints of old
-
is holding you right now. God wishly bless you for
-
staying all through today's morning glory devotion. Can you join
-
us a game for another episode tomorrow morning, by God's grace.
