Welcome to the logo streamer are with God savant Reverend
-
Doctor Joseph bar Being, head Pastor of Harvest Chapel International Commercy.
-
And now to today's message.
-
Let's take our confession Joshua one verse eight. This book
-
of the Law shallow, depart out of my mouth, and
-
I shall meditate in it today at night, that I
-
may observe to do according to all that is written
-
in it. So then I will make my way prosperous,
-
and then I will have good success. Amen, why don't
-
you take your seats. We started the discourses for the
-
man's halleluis, and this month we are seeing our best
-
we can bring order into our giving life. Amen, Order
-
in giving and we very very profound texts to wrap
-
our discourses around. And that is taken from Marthy.
-
That's six.
-
That's twenty four, Marthy six twenty four. Can we go
-
there and look at the text for the month around
-
which we are going to base all the discourses, all
-
the truths, all the things that we want to know
-
and to understand concerning our giving lives. And this is
-
Jesus speaking, and the occasion on which he makes this
-
profound and then very bold statement has been described as
-
the Salmon on the mount.
-
Hallelujah. Amen.
-
And last Wednesday I was saying that the same one
-
on the mound passes through Marth fu chapter five, chapter six,
-
and then Matthew chapter seven, very very long discourse on
-
setting values that Jesus Christ was hoping that the citizens
-
of the kingdom, those of us that God.
-
Has called as a privilege.
-
It's all right, he says in his word that Jacoby loved,
-
but so have I hated. Just to tell us that
-
God discriminates. Amen, It's an amazing and wonderful privilege to
-
be called a child of God.
-
It's not everybody who can come. Amen.
-
God extends and to setting the coolier people and says you,
-
I love you, you, I want you to come into
-
a relationship with me you. I want to be your dad.
-
You. I want to bless you.
-
And when God determines that I'm going to save you
-
so I can bless you, no power on earth is
-
able to frustrate him all then.
-
Louisa, even you yourself.
-
We know about the story of a Paul, Saul Paul,
-
so we know that this was someone who was going
-
around chasing Christians, beating them up, locking them and supervising
-
their killing. God says you, I just love you. I'll
-
save you. Amen, And once on another mission to go
-
and do that executives diabolic plan, God.
-
Accosted him and saved him. Amen.
-
You know so the Bible is very clear. You know
-
that there are certain categories of people. God, by his
-
own act of will and grace, we just save you.
-
We just hand pick you and save you. Harry Me.
-
I mean, I know I'm one Haed Louiah, and I'm
-
so glad he did. Hallelujah. He says that I'm found
-
by those who are not seeking for me. But then, yes,
-
so the invitation host whosoever believes will not perish but
-
have everlasted their life. So, in a sense, even though
-
we are saying God discriminates, it doesn't discriminate. The invitation
-
is open to all humankind. God so loved the world,
-
and that includes you, whether a clear God so loved
-
as that he gave He's only begotten son, that whoso
-
ever believes should not perish, but have ever last in life.
-
Amy. So the invitation stands.
-
For or who will hear the invitation, mistake a decision
-
and respond.
-
And I'm saying that there's a certain critic.
-
Cammas of people that God, in his own judgment and
-
wisdom and grace, despite your protestations, he will save you
-
because you and I were designed and created for accepting
-
particular peoples of His Amen, Hale Louier. And so if
-
you find yourself in church is an amazing privilege.
-
Amen.
-
And so on this occasion, as we are saying the
-
Salmon of the Mound, Jesus Christ had gathered all the
-
people that had gathered around him were the disciples, the people,
-
the men and the women, all categories of people.
-
Who are signed up and had embraced his teachings.
-
His if you like philosophy or way and manner of
-
life that he came to teach human kind.
-
Remember, Jesus was no ordinary person.
-
The Gospel writers and all the New Testament let us
-
understand that Jesus was the son of God, of God incarnate.
-
Halleluiah.
-
God took on the form of a human being and
-
entered his creation so that he could instruct them about
-
the ways of the Lord.
-
Hallelujah.
-
A man, God has a way, a man that he
-
wants and expects the entire creation to behave a kind
-
of attitude that he wants us to display number one
-
towards him and then number two towards our fellow men.
-
Amen, very very important.
-
We can all understand and I appreciate what is born
-
again experience. It's all about what it means to handle
-
over your life. He says, what it means to be
-
going to church regularly, hallelujah, so that we don't.
-
Reduce it to a routine.
-
God wants to save us, and God wants to save everybody.
-
Every talk back and hurry that he has the invitation.
-
God wants to save us, halleluia. And he has paid
-
the price. And sometimes we don't understand this. There's a
-
lot of contention over your life, every one of us,
-
even the young people. You look through the scriptures and
-
you will see it. Hallelujah. When the enemy attacks, it
-
doesn't just attack adults. He attacks us and our children
-
and everybody.
-
Halleluiah. Amen.
-
That is why during the age of innocence, they are
-
dependent on their parents, what we do and what we
-
refuse to do.
-
Halleluia. Amen. Now they are innocence.
-
So God, if you like, put us or puts them
-
in our child and that is why you must be
-
tough and you must be strong to cover them him.
-
It's coming on grace and message to power them with
-
your prayers. And so you'd rather use the word your
-
attitude towards God will affect the security, safety, protext ship
-
of your children, Helen Louiah.
-
Amen.
-
If your attitude towards God and the things of God
-
are safe, anything goes Anyhow. When we say pray, you
-
won't pray your children, and the enemy are opening the
-
doors for the enemy to attack your children, and one
-
day they'll blame you.
-
They don't know. Amen. One of the things that.
-
The devil dislikes is for us to instruct our children
-
in the in the in the world of God. So
-
you are not doing your pietype How what are you
-
going to instact the children in the ways of the
-
law with what Helen Louis. You can't give what you
-
don't have.
-
Amen.
-
So when letters my man or my sword, and you
-
think that what God is saying about you in heaven,
-
Helen Louiah, any time God be God by me baying
-
me bay you are soon, mam. That's reading. That's the
-
same charge that you are giving your children. They used
-
to are complaining they have done everything to save you.
-
You are they're not saving you. Quiet time home ber
-
halle Luier, prayer, start that no show. Launch our no show,
-
Halen Louiah. Midweek Friday prayers, no show. So who is
-
covering your children for you? Past us? Okay, we'll do
-
our best, but there's a certain limitating that we can do.
-
They are your responsibility, Halen Luier. It is not the
-
Sunday school teachers. They are your responsibility when they come home,
-
to cover them with your prayers and your word prayer,
-
and the word is counseling.
-
That is how God responds to our prayers.
-
So prayer, prayer, prayer alone without talking to the children,
-
and don't it won't work. Talk to them. Take the
-
word of God, talk to them, read the word of
-
God to them. Say this is what the word of
-
God's saying. And you and me, we are all going.
-
To do it.
-
That's how the children lay. When Daddy is doing Mamy
-
is doing it, they'll.
-
Also do it.
-
Say amen, halenelujah, you will say you will with the
-
air passed, so no, when you are coming, then you
-
put them in your pocket.
-
And then you come. Halenluiah. Amen, they will come.
-
They don't have any they don't have any any choice, Halenluiah.
-
That's how it is done. Amen.
-
And then as we cover them with our Christ, with
-
our prayers, with our petitions to to to a loving
-
and a kind and merciful God. God, God, God is merciful. Amen,
-
God is merciful for me.
-
For me. I just know that these children here because.
-
Of our prayers and our intercessions and Christ, God will
-
save them. Say amen, may I believe, halln lujah. God
-
will save them. Because we'll talk them praying fast over
-
the man.
-
One day they're coming say my break, my pay hallelujah.
-
We've seen it.
-
All over the years, people from other places who.
-
Came, Why not our children? We first and pray for.
-
Other people's children to be delivered. They came, and then
-
they come and say, past my pidion, my pay my breath,
-
and we see what God has done in our life,
-
and then our own children.
-
No, hallelujah Amen Amen. So we are so on the salmon.
-
On the mountain, our attitude to us for bringing all
-
that in our giving.
-
Hallelujah Amen.
-
And as I said, this is the Salmon on the mound,
-
Jesus Christ at all the disciples had gathered around him,
-
you know, so that they could listen to him. Halenelujah.
-
And then we just invest one and say that. Yes,
-
he said. One day, as he saw the crowds gathering,
-
Jesus went up on the mountain side and sat down,
-
and his disciples gothered around it. I think we have
-
been saying something when we keep on going over the
-
same truths and peerless and the foundations of the faith.
-
Now when you grasp it, when you grasp it, you
-
will live for God and God will ana you when
-
you and not God God will ana you.
-
God will bless you. God will bless you and your children.
-
God it's a generational blessing.
-
There's too much blessing in heaven and waiting to be
-
dispatched to the people of this head.
-
Say Amen to that. And God is so resourceful.
-
God is so blessing owns everything that the blessings they
-
are stripped the people.
-
Hallelujah. Amen.
-
God created a very vast and wealthy universe. Hallelujah. And
-
so there is enough as far as God is consent,
-
there is enough in heaven for all the children of God.
-
And God is just waiting hallelujah. So that we begin
-
to anna him. He says, ana you, hallelujah. And then
-
it means that going to bless their life. The things
-
that we're going to. We keep on saying, he will
-
show us grace and messes and pardon. When we're singing
-
and we confess, he will forgive us. He will lift
-
us up, and he will strengthen us. Hallelujah. He will protect,
-
he will preserve us, and he will provide for every
-
legitimate needs.
-
In our lives. Haley Lujiah. It will help us in
-
our education. Amen.
-
He will pay the children's school fees. Say amen, Harlene Louia.
-
They will all become big people. Say amen, and by
-
big people, I mean blessed people. Helene, just market on
-
the world. But for now they are working in innocence.
-
We are the ones who must boldly and courageously take
-
the place we know about Hannah. Look at what Anna
-
did in the life of his sons. Somewhere at the
-
age and the Bible's CALLEDSS. Believe that someone was taken
-
to Ellen in Shiloh when he was about five years old.
-
He said, win, well, I mean I'm out. Were your
-
babies when you win them? Hallelujah? I when we are
-
winning earlier, isn't it three two three by two? Some
-
some are doing one year because of carrier and all
-
those things by the old days, maybe three five years,
-
you know, yes, And before and then Anna took him
-
to go and say God Hallnelujah, a man and spoke
-
was able to persuade him to behave in south in Shiloh. Now,
-
what's well Hophni and Phinnish horse were doing plying their trade.
-
Halle you're very very too bad boys, two bad priests, hallelujah.
-
And the young boy someone was there and yes, because
-
of the worst that Mamahannah spoken into his life. And
-
every year when they came for the sacrifices, and the
-
first season, he will just conner him some way. She
-
will connor him and speak into his life. Don't copy
-
me and finas, Amen, don't copy and speak that to
-
their children before they go to school.
-
Every day.
-
You know you look at there are people out there
-
or setance against they are there.
-
They are speaking to your children. You are not speaking
-
to them.
-
So somebody else is speaking to them, hallelujah and giving
-
them all the wrong attitudes and things. So it is
-
because of this that Jesus was addressed. We see if
-
the samon on the one, Jesus opens up so that
-
he can teach us, if you like, some counter values
-
that the well, the well, the culture that is in
-
the world, the values that people have embraced, the values
-
that you and I lived in before we met Jesus Christ.
-
As we have been saying, there is the need for
-
a deconstruction.
-
Amen.
-
The old man must go. Hallelujah. He said, if any
-
man being Christ second Cat. Five seventeen, beold, the old
-
is gone, all things are new. How is the all
-
going to go and never spring up? Be able to
-
spring up again? The word of God hallelujah, amen, because
-
we need that attitude not change. And what does the
-
trick is the word, the word Jesus said, the weather
-
that I speak.
-
They are spirit, they are life. Amen.
-
They have the power to be able to break down
-
strongholds of the mind. Speak the word to the everyone
-
you and then do the piet type doing the devorce
-
inal life. Speak to them. You look, children, you need
-
to speak to them. If adults we need over and
-
over and over, how much more the children hallelujah Amen,
-
over and over and over and over and over. One
-
day they will sit up there and says, this is
-
what mammy has been saying. I would do it so
-
that you should stop worrying me. Amen, hallelujah Amen. Our
-
children they will tell you. And they were going to
-
school from from when we're seeing at plus two, that's
-
right to read it. By the time they every day
-
they were hearing the semon Haley loujah, and they would
-
do all tar called before they get to school every morning, hallnlujah.
-
So later they preferred Daddy taking them to school to
-
go ask.
-
Me that he will play music.
-
My mommy will give them their salmon for the day
-
and then we'll leave them and then they pray their
-
singer's prayer.
-
And they did it. Tell it registered Halen Louiah. Amen.
-
Amen, you have to adopt all kinds of tricks, the
-
tricks of of tactics and things that that's so they
-
will get it and in some way somehow, because we
-
save a very merciful God got to help us, because
-
God wants to save them. Remember what he told Abraham
-
when he was going. He says, I know, I know
-
that Abraham will instract his children in the ways of
-
the Lord.
-
I know.
-
That is why he whispered to him what he was
-
about to do in Sodom and Gomora.
-
I know, Halleluia Inmen.
-
So the samee on the mount, as I'm saying, was
-
an opportunity for Jesus Christ to speak into the life
-
of his disciple. Number one, to reverse the damage that
-
has been done, the wrong attitudes, the wrong perceptions from
-
our living in an environment that Satan has taken control of,
-
halle Luier, the values of the world, the godless values.
-
Halle Luier. They needed to hear. Amen.
-
And then number two, some of the things that you know,
-
save Dan is very very clever.
-
Amen.
-
If we go back to the garden of eating. How
-
did he make our first experience? For he took the
-
word and twisted the word. Amen, has God said you
-
shall not eat? And then Mama even said, oh yeah,
-
I said that we shall eat it. He said, which
-
would need to be touch it? So he himself, he said,
-
God himself knows that when you eat it, you won't
-
die by Rather, you're going to be wiser, Amen, and
-
be able to take if you like, independent actions, and'll
-
be like God. So the word that God had given,
-
that is what sais. And you had a ride up.
-
So Jesus comes in and the samon on the mound.
-
Number two was also to re educators because over the years,
-
passing over the years, a lot of people are given
-
their own spain and their own interpretation to the word
-
of God, and so the misconceptions surrounding most of the things.
-
There are a lot of people out here that.
-
Like you, always say I like you, always using type
-
ask what type of dear?
-
Don't pay your time?
-
So sometimes there are people in church they sten, oh
-
type a trump, May I say, I don't like if
-
you say you want to be legalistic?
-
Okay a truth? Can we go to the new testament.
-
Can you hear poor telling us so generously and you
-
shall read generously, Amen, giving above yourself and your ability
-
to give.
-
So all the teachings are there, but you will never
-
be able to understand all these things.
-
Well if the first key foundational is to of being
-
a disciple of Jesus, is not there?
-
Amen?
-
And that is when you give your life to Jesus,
-
you vacate the throne of your life. Jesus comes in
-
not just a savior but also that's amen.
-
So these were the people that were guarded.
-
There no doubt that at the end of it, the
-
xclamation is that, wow, Wow, what a word. He teaches
-
us with authority and with power Halem Louiah.
-
Amen. And so he is the person it is it
-
is on this occasion that he gives us. There. Can
-
we come back to the best one?
-
Can we quickly go to the six twenty four, the
-
theme for the month. Let's take a look at it.
-
Halvi says, no one can save two masters?
-
Who are these masters?
-
Or you will hate one and love the other, Amen,
-
mutually exclusive. It says you can't, Amen, you will be
-
devoted to.
-
One and despise the other.
-
What is he talking about you cannot say both God
-
and money say huge statement, that is earth moving money.
-
Money is a defense, Money is an answer.
-
To all things. Money, we say, is power. So how
-
can God says the more sorry, and which one offering?
-
And let's stay here, We'll go anywhere?
-
Yeah, may yeah, yeah, yes you can, yeah, yes, you can.
-
Hear the yeah.
-
He said you can't save God and money. How are
-
we going to be able to do all these things? Oh, media,
-
I don't think fast. I don't think that Jesus meant it.
-
God is speaking, mean that Jesus is a liar?
-
Oh they did. I think that.
-
There's a certain meaning that we are not getting. And
-
then we say, let's go and pray about it. Everything,
-
let's pack it and go and pray about it. But
-
to say that we cannot save both God and money,
-
making the two things mutually exclusive either you are here
-
or there, then Jesus could not have meant what he
-
was saying. Amen, hallelujah. But the Jesus meaning. So, that's
-
why I'm saying that. And to be able to appreciate this,
-
we need to go back. That's why we're going back.
-
We are picking all the truths once again from the
-
whole salmon, and so that we can put all in context,
-
trying to see how best he can correct the attitudes
-
that we are formed growing up in the communities, seeing
-
if you like life being modeled, and the Bible life
-
tries to tell us that the life that we are
-
seeing it is not the life that God had in
-
mind when he created the world.
-
Hallelujah.
-
God had a certain blueprint that he wanted all his
-
creation and all his creatures, especially man, that he created
-
in his imail and in his likeness and attitude that
-
he needed to behave towards him number one and towards
-
his fellow men.
-
Hallelujah. And like Jesus said.
-
The whole summary of all the commandments that God has
-
given in this work, they just come back to two
-
two conjoined with thou shalt love the Lord thy God
-
with all thy heart, all thy soul, all thy mind,
-
and all thy strength. So you can understand when he
-
says you cannot save God and man. He said the
-
number one rule is to love God. It didn't say
-
and then you can love money. Now look at the
-
second one, and you shall love your neighbor as yourself.
-
Amen.
-
So the salmon on the mountain. Let's go to this one. Now,
-
chapter five, we went over. Let's quickly wake up. It's
-
very helpful, he says. So he sees the crowds, and
-
then he well goes up on the mountains. And then
-
when he sat down, his disciples came to him. Alleluiah.
-
The disciples gathered around him so that he could instruct
-
them with the power of his word. Amen, he said,
-
being transformed by the renewing of the mind, if we
-
are going to be able to be the men and
-
the women that God created us to be, we are said,
-
we are deconstructing the old man. We are demolishing the
-
old man with its ideas, Harlene Louiah. And these ideas
-
has been shaped by culture and the way of the.
-
Environment that we grew up in.
-
All those years that we were not attending church, all
-
those years and seasons that we were not reading the Word,
-
all those years that we didn't understand the Word, and
-
therefore we were not applying the rules of God, the
-
principles of God in our daily living. Then certain hat
-
swear over our hearts, and the damn made was just
-
increasing and deepning. That's why we say that the damage
-
is quite substantial. So when you come to God, it
-
is not automatic. Yes, he says that all things are new.
-
There is a need for renew You are of the mind.
-
Attitudes has to be reformed. The old man has to
-
be demolished and the new man constructed by the power
-
and agency of the Word of God.
-
Amen, hallelujah. Amen.
-
So the disciples, and the disciples we define it are
-
the lenders, those who have given their lives to Jesus,
-
and they are positioning well to hear him now instructing
-
because of the Holy Spirit. If you don't get born
-
again and you don't have the Holy Spirit what we
-
are doing in church, you will never be able to
-
understand it. You always criticize the word of God, but
-
ultimately you are wonder the one going to be the loser.
-
People are making headway in the Kingdom of God.
-
Amen.
-
Sometimes we deceive ourselves, and so everybody does in believe God.
-
No or nobody believes it's not true. There are always
-
people who believe. Say a big Amen, elike. I thought
-
that all the people who had resulted in his day
-
had gone in all is rather God worshiping bath.
-
But God told him said.
-
No, no, no, no, no, no, and.
-
What did God say? He said, I.
-
He didn't say some people who on their own, He said,
-
I have preserved for myself seven thousand people that have
-
not dared to bow to the gods of Bath. You
-
think everybody likes money and worshiping money.
-
No, there are some people.
-
Who are not bowing to the gods of God, so
-
they can't save God. When you have the spirit of God,
-
you know you understand you own debate that God doesn't
-
want us to have money. After all, money is the
-
creation of God inmen. Remember, he says that Survi is
-
mine and the God is mind.
-
So he created this.
-
A who says that God doesn't want us to be rich,
-
it's not true.
-
God wants us. He created it for man.
-
But he said, well, sick he first the Kingdom of
-
God and is righteousness, and all these other things, including
-
the wealth. It shall be added on to you that
-
what we are saying we are bringing order. We are
-
not saying that money is not good. Money is bad. No,
-
we need it and God will give it to us.
-
Say Amen, hallelujah. All the projects that we listed, we've
-
been enable to do it because God gave us the money.
-
And then we also gave it to God, hallelujah, and
-
the check to do the things that we've been able
-
to do.
-
Amen.
-
So we can't What the text is saying is not
-
saying that money is bad, money is good. Say Amen,
-
but the order, Order, Order, God faced, Order, God faced hallelujah.
-
Amen.
-
