Shalom, beloved. You are welcome to today's Morning Glory Devotion.
-
We are Pastor and Deaconess Kilsin from the Harvest Chapel International,
-
Diname Kumasi, and we are grateful to God to be
-
bringing to you another episode of our Morning Glory Devotions.
-
Let us kindly share a word of prayer. Ever-faithful Father,
-
we thank you for the blessing of a new day.
-
As we prepare to hear your word, we ask that
-
you open our hearts and transform our lives by your
-
unfailing word. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Amen. Let us
-
kindly take our confession for today from Joshua 1.8. Joshua 1.8
-
This book of the law shall not depart from my mouth,
-
but I shall meditate in it day and night, that
-
I may observe to do according to all that is
-
written in it. For then I will make my way prosperous,
-
and then I will have good success. Amen. Today's message
-
is titled, Book of Life. Book of Life. Written by Ms.
-
Amanda Beidou. Our scripture reading shall be taken from Revelation
-
20 11-15. Revelation 20 11-15. I will be reading from
-
the New King James Version. Then I saw a great
-
white throne. and him who sat on it, from whose
-
face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there
-
was found no place for them. And I saw the dead,
-
small and great, standing before God, and books were opened.
-
And another book was opened, which is the book of life.
-
And the dead were judged according to their works, by
-
the things which were written in the books. The sea
-
gave up the dead who were in it, and death
-
and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them.
-
And they were judged, each one according to his works.
-
Then death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire.
-
This is the second death, and anyone not found written
-
in the book of life was cast into the lake
-
of fire. The Lord add his blessings to the reading
-
and hearing of this word. Thanks be to God. Amen.
-
Book of Life Book of Life Beloved, Jesus is coming soon.
-
Are you saved? And is your name in the Book
-
of Life? Scriptures tell us that God loved the world
-
so much that he gave his only begotten son, that
-
whosoever believes in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
-
The gospel is hinged on the death and resurrection of
-
Jesus Christ for the sole purpose of saving mankind from
-
eternal damnation by reconciling us with God. Beloved, the core
-
of the gospel is to save us from hell, and
-
hell is real. We must constantly examine our lives and
-
ask if our names are in the book of life.
-
Are we living lives worthy of the calling of God?
-
Are we burning with passion for the lost souls in
-
our families, communities, workplaces, and friendships? Beloved, Jesus came to
-
save mankind. And if we have had the privilege of
-
hearing the gospel today, then we must not hesitate to
-
accept this offer of pardon. On our own, we can
-
never fulfill the righteous requirements of God, for all have
-
sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. But
-
the good news is, In Christ Jesus, we are saved
-
through faith, and this belief qualifies our names to be
-
written in the Lamb's Book of Life. Hell is a
-
terrible place of eternal suffering. The lake of fire is
-
reserved for all who reject Jesus, and we must do
-
everything in our power to avoid it. Beloved, is your
-
name in the Book of Life? When Jesus returns, will
-
your hearts be filled with joy or tremble in fear?
-
If you are not sure, then accept Jesus as your
-
Lord and personal Savior and become part of the family
-
of God today. Amen. Let us kindly take our memory
-
verse for today. Our memory verse is taken from Revelation 20,
-
verse 15. Revelation chapter 20, the verse 15. And I'll
Revelation 20 chapter mention
-
be reading from the New King James Version. And anyone
-
not found written in the book of life was cast
-
into the lake of fire. And anyone not found written
-
in the book of life was cast into the lake
-
of fire. Amen. Let us kindly share a word of prayer.
-
Our Heavenly Father, we thank you for the ultimate sacrifice
-
of Jesus Christ and the free gift of salvation. We
-
pray that our faith will remain steadfast so that our
-
names may be permanently secured in the Lamb's Book of Life.
-
Please ignite in our hearts a deep burning passion for
-
the lost souls in our families and our workplaces and
-
even in our communities. Grant us the boldness to share
-
the gospel. And for anyone listening today who is unsure
-
of their eternity, we pray they will confidently accept you
-
as Lord and Savior. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen. Precious one,
-
the core of the gospel is to reconcile us with
-
God and save us from eternal separation. Please ensure that
-
your name is written in the book of life by
-
accepting Jesus Christ today. Amen. Thank you for listening to
-
today's Morning Glory Devotion. I hope you have been blessed.
-
