>> good morning And happy Sabbath Sunday.

Today is Sabbath Sunday. It's the Sunday

in between Christmas and New Year's

where every year we take in-person

[music]

service off. And we do this online to be

able to look back at what God has done

and look ahead to what he is doing. And

it helps to give our team a break as

well. This is why we call it Sabbath

Sunday because after six days of

creation, what did God do? God took the

seventh day and he rested. It's one of

the most important commands that we see

in the Old and the New Testament to be

intentional about resting. And so this

is what we're doing for our team, for

our church, and for you. So, let's take

this time to look back, look at who God

has called us to be, and look ahead to

where he's taking us.

>> The first thing that we want to look

back on is our three key mission

pillars. I hope that you know what they

are. We say them every Sunday. The first

one is real connection with God. And

[music] we do that through our services,

our Sunday morning services, our prayer

services. [music] There's something

about coming together to pray, to

worship, to hear the word. You can do

the same things at home, but it's not

the same as seeing other people lift

their hands, as having somebody put

their hand on you to pray. Um, there's

something about it that is different

when you're in the room.

>> Did you know that we saw 100 salvations

this year and rededications?

>> Wow.

>> That is incredible. Our biggest year

yet.

>> Yes. Our second key mission pillar is

real relationship with others. This past

season, over the past few months, I have

had an opportunity to have a group in

our home with nine other ladies, and

it's just been a beautiful time of

fellowship, of eating, of going through

the word. Right now, we're going through

Ephesians and talking through scripture.

And there's something about having a

group of people that you are accountable

to [music] that can spur you on in your

relationship with Christ. Um there is

something amazing that takes place when

you get in a group. That's what this

pillar is all about. Being a part of a

group and growing in community. We have

seen a 20% increase of people in groups

over this past year. We went from 30% of

our church being in groups to 50%.

Which is

>> amazing.

>> Yeah.

>> Our third mission pillar is real impact

in our world. [music]

>> We want to take what we have learned and

how we're growing out into the world. We

want to be a light everywhere that we

go. That's part of having impact. We

also want to serve within the body of

Christ. We want to be opening doors for

people. We want to set up church. We

want to lead people into worship. All

serving is is a part of helping somebody

else take the next step in their faith

journey. And it also does something in

us where we grow by serving somebody

else. So, we've seen our team grow by

11% this year, which is awesome. It

takes a village. Yes.

>> To be the church, to be the body of

Christ. So, it's awesome to see that

grow. We're also seeing impact around

the world. We gave 35,000

>> in our faith offering.

>> Our little church did that. That is the

biggest offering that we've ever taken

>> and we hit our goal. So, uh we are

seeing foster families impacted through

that. We are seeing missionaries. I want

you to think about this. We have the

opportunity

>> to say the name of Jesus

all the time. Every day we're saying his

name. There are people on the other side

of the world that has never heard the

name of Jesus.

>> Can you imagine that? That have never

held a Bible in their hands. And yet we

probably have 10 Bibles in our home,

[music] right?

>> It's just wild to think. And we are able

>> to make impact across the world by

giving financially um to these

organizations that are taking the gospel

to these places. And we were also able

to give $5,000 to Project Rescue [music]

to rescue women and children who are

being trafficked.

>> Yeah,

>> that is incredible. [music]

>> Yes,

>> that is insane. just so worth

celebrating that we're seeing real

connection with God, real relationships

with others, and real impact in our

world through everything that's

happening at collective. [music]

In fact, this last year for 2025, what

we talked about is our theme is hungry.

>> Yeah.

>> To be hungry for more. Mhm.

>> And to be hungry, we said more prayer,

more growth,

>> and more fruit. And we wanted to

increase this hunger that we have for

the Lord. And to as the deer pants for

the water, so my soul longs for you, oh

Lord. And uh in the same way, we said,

"How are we going to increase our hunger

for prayer?" And guess what? This year,

our prayer services grew by 37%.

Which is incredible. Getting to see the

when the church comes together to see

prayer and to seek the Lord and to

worship together and to pray over each

other. Guys, we've seen healings. We've

seen words. We've seen people open up in

faith and break out in in what God is

doing in their life because of the

prayer that precedes any action and any

fruit that is worth having. And then we

also saw more [music] we were hungry for

more growth. And uh this is similar to

what we talked to when Morgan just

talked about with groups that we saw and

we see people growing in our disciplehip

uh in in our disciplehip pathways as

well as we have developed two new

pathways a disciplehip pathway and a

leadership pathway that now people are

getting brought into in having

one-on-one disciplehip to be able to

grow in their spiritual walk and be able

to grow in their leadership, their

spiritual leadership.

And it has been incredible seeing I've

been able to lead some people through

some of these and uh it's amazing seeing

what these little sources, these little

resources are actually doing to bring

about transformation

no matter how long you've been following

the Lord. And then lastly, we were

hungry for more fruit. And guys, we have

seen fruit here at Collective. It has

been incredible seeing our church grow

by over 17%.

We saw 38 baptisms in in just like our

salvations, we're seeing a greater

increase in baptisms than we've ever

seen. And here's something crazy. One of

the one of the stats that I like to

track here at Collective Church uh is

actually I call it new conversion uh

percentage. And what this is is it's

taking how many baptisms have we had

reflecting according to our size. And

there's this actually is a stat that I

didn't know this but turns out other

churches track this. And the national

average is about five%.

That if you have what's your what's your

average attendance and that about take

5% of the average attendance and that

should be about the number of baptisms

that you have in a year. Guys, we are

not at 5%. We're not at 10%. We're not

at 20%. We are at 22%.

>> How cool

>> of seeing this this new believer

conversion. It is absolutely crazy what

God is doing in this church.

>> And I am incredibly grateful because

Jesus says, "Apart from me, you can do

nothing." Mhm.

>> And so anything of value that collective

church has seen is because of Jesus and

through the faithful obedience of every

single person here.

>> Yeah. The amazing [music] thing about

the church is that it's because of the

church, [music] you guys, of the work

that we do. But it's not because of us.

>> Yes. It's because of Christ and the work

that he has done in us allows us to um

for him to do work through us. I'm

reading in Ephesians and it talks about

the role of the church [music] and how

Jesus is the head and he is

orchestrating

>> so much of his global church through the

people in the church. And so it's part

of his design for us to just be a light,

a body [music]

working together to make impact in the

world. It's all because of the obedience

represented in our church, the lifting

of hands, the prayers that are prayed up

for people in the church and for the

church. Um, all of it is to change our

world. So, pretty cool.

>> So cool. Yes. You made an impact. You

made this happen. seeing every single

conversation that was had, every single

prayer that was prayed, every single

hand that was raised during worship,

every single decision that was made at

the altar or people that came up to

respond. Every every person that jumped

into a group, every person that jumped

in and served on a team, every person

that has taken that has attended and

brought faith and fire into the place or

has received that. Any person that has

grown on their own and has humbly

received the gospel, this is all part of

what God is doing.

>> Yeah. It opens the door to people's

hearts when they see you and your

hunger.

>> Yeah.

>> They're like, I want that. I want to be

hungry like them. I want to have purpose

like that. Is there a hope that [music]

they have? cuz I don't have hope, but I

want that hope. I want that faith. And

that breaks down walls and that open ups

opens up doors for people to [music]

receive the Lord.

And really what [music] when I think

about what God is doing here at

Collective, there's no stat that really

summarizes it up as much as the stories.

Every single person has a story of what

God is doing in their hearts that has

been amplified or brought about because

of the church. Uh when I think of these

stories, I think of people like uh Adina

who came to collective church,

not even because she was looking for a

church, but because she was we were

hiring her as a babysitter for our setup

tearown team and who can watch and she

was willing to help out. And not only

did she then babysat, but then she

started staying for service and then she

started getting to know some people. And

then she started seeing God move in her

life.

>> And then she really truly, she says she

took hold of her faith on her own. She

says she grew up in her in a in a

Christian home but kind of just did it

to do it right. And it never was hers.

But now

>> she says through collective, through the

faithfulness, through the team and

through just getting hired to come and

help with set up tear down child care,

she now carries this faith that that

interrupts her life that changes the way

that she holds her friendships and her

workplace and her and and gives her

purpose. She says without before this

time there was she had no hope that she

was living in. She knew church but she

didn't know Jesus.

>> And through the faithfulness of the team

through the faithfulness of serving

through the fact that this church even

exists

she gets to live in a light and in a

hope that she had never seen before

this. [music] And that's those are the

types of wins I celebrate.

>> Yeah. I also think of Ben and Ila Rippy

who come from abuse. They come from a

background of drugs and violence. And I

know that Leila was a foster care child

herself. And so they just come from

brokenness. [music]

And Ben is somebody who walked away from

faith. He was he experienced [music]

church in a way that wasn't good and he

was like I don't want anything to do

with organized religion

>> and walked into collective uh I want to

say 3 years ago and their lives over the

past 3 years or so have just been

completely transformed.

>> God is moving in their family. Uh Ben

just got baptized a couple months ago

and it was just so cool to hear his

story of like [music]

>> I now think differently. I don't think

the same about the church because

somebody welcomed me in. There was a

church collective that welcomed him in

where he felt safe and where he felt

seen. And then I think about Ila and the

vital part that she played in the foster

care Christmas outreach. The fact that

we could get 300 gifts for foster care

kids is in large part due to her and her

uh just faithfulness to see every kid

receive a gift. She knew what it felt

like because she was one of those kids

at one point in her journey. And so she

worked really hard to to get those gifts

in. So I just they are a vital part of

our church and it's just really cool to

see. Those are just two stories. Um but

there are hundreds of stories of what

God is doing in and through [music]

people that collective.

>> Yeah. And we want to hear your story. I

want to know what God is doing. Cuz it's

so easy to show up and then disappear

and and you get to tell your friends or

your spouse or your loved ones about the

amazing things that God is doing in your

heart. But if you have a story that you

want to share, we got a link here that

you can follow to be able to share what

God your testimony about what God is

doing in your heart and your life.

Because ultimately, we can't we there's

no stats to be able to track this. We

want to see the stories and the

transformation going on in your heart

through this church and just through the

Holy Spirit and how he is working in

your life.

>> Yeah. [music]

Pastor Drew asked some of our leaders

over the past few months, what are some

words that you are believing God for for

2026?

We know that vision comes from the lead

pastors, but it's also comes from the

body being the body. We are one body.

And so we didn't want vision to just

come from us. We wanted it to come from

the church. And so we received words

over the last couple of months um to

pray through and to [music] think, God,

what of these words are you saying to

us? And so Pastor Drew is going to share

what our word is for 2026.

>> [music]

[music]

>> So, I want to take a second and share a

little bit about our word for 2026.

And just like when you're driving a car,

you got your rear view and side view

mirrors. And it's important to know

what's going on behind you. So in the

same way we have celebrated what God has

done through collective but

as when you're driving a car your main

focus needs to be forward. Where is God

taking us? And this is why here at

collective we we try to listen and

discern and fast and pray and say God

what are you speaking to us right now

about where you are taking us? What

direction do we need to go? How hard do

we need to be pressing down on that gas

pedal? What how do we need to approach

this next season? And the way I find

that uh that that how we approach God

often times changes how he responds to

us. The posture that I take toward him

determines a lot of times how much he

will give and speak to me. Jesus says

you have not because you ask not. And so

in the same way, we are going to seek

the Lord and we are going to posture

ourselves in a way that causes us to be

focused on him and to be able to hear

from him and for us to be able to

respond. Well,

see our word after hearing a after our

leaders fasting and praying, after

taking time to listen and I created a

list of probably 40 different words and

themes and messages and I I believe that

what God is speaking not just to me but

to our team for where he is taking us is

for us to carry the posture

to lean in.

Lean in. That is our phrase. These are

our words for 2026.

He is calling us to lean in. Proverbs

35-6 says it this way. Says, "Trust in

the Lord with all of your heart.

Do not lean on your own understandings,

but in all your ways acknowledge him and

he will make your path straight. So if

we're looking for what is this path

[music] he's taking us on, it's going to

be built on trust and the posture of

leaning in. What are you leaning on?

What are you leaning in towards? And I

believe that this word lean in

highlights two specific things. We're

going to hit on this more over the next

couple weeks as we introduce this

concept and we're going to hear this

kind of just be a foundation throughout

and and echoing throughout the entire

year of what God is speaking to

collective church and how he is calling

us to lean in. But what I find in that

leaning in does it does a couple

different things. Number one is

highlighted in this passage. It is. It

calls us to trust.

Whenever I'm leaning on something, if I

have a cane or if I'm leaning on it, I'm

I'm trusting in that thing. If it gives

way, I fall down and I am without hope

without him. In the same way, I want to

trust in him. I want to lean into him so

that my weight is pressed into him. so

that my trust is in him. So that I

position and I posture myself in a way

where if he doesn't show up,

it's utter failure.

I am totally lost without him.

That's the reality.

But often times, if I'm honest, don't

always feel that. We don't always

practice that. and we certainly don't

live like it.

And so this is where I believe leaning

in first looks like trust. But also

leaning in, it is similar to how the

disciple John who calls himself in his

book the disciple whom Jesus loved. And

as they are sitting down and reclining

on the floor on a bunch of pillows as

they are finishing up the Lord's supper

and it says that John is leaning in and

leaning onto

the chest the shoulder area of Jesus and

and this is where they didn't have

seatbacks and so they would they'd lean

on each other in order to it just as

they're in conversation and as they're

having time and it's this close place of

of knowing someone, of intimacy, of

closeness, and just a comfortability

that we can have. And so that second

part is not just trusting in God, but is

intimacy with him.

See, the people that I lean in towards

the most are the people that I trust,

the people that trust me, the people

that I'm getting closest to.

I find some of the most powerful things

that are ever said are not shouted

but are whispered.

And I believe God's whispering to all of

us all the time.

How will you

lean in to the whispers of God in 2026?

How will we trust him?

How will we lean in in intimacy, getting

closer to him? We got a lot of different

ways that we're going to highlight this

and we're going to talk about this all

year long, but I want to encourage you

guys to come next Sunday as we begin to

build out what does it look, how can I

practice leaning in, and how is

collective going to lean in to what God

is doing, to who he is, and to having

closeness and trust with him. I cannot

wait to see what God is going to do.

Just like Hungry for More in 2025, we

had no clue how he was going to bring

this into fruition and actually make

something of it that I could not have

predicted. And I know that he's going to

be doing the same thing. And I feel in

my spirit, it's going to be even bigger,

even greater. So I cannot wait to see

what he has. Would you come and would

you bring this same faith and same

anticipation with me? I want to pray

into this idea and kind of declare what

God's heart is for collective over each

and every one of us and over where he's

taking us. [gasps]

Father [snorts] God,

mighty one,

we know,

we know that you came first to us.

You loved us first.

You have chased us first.

And then you call us and you say, "Draw

near to me

and I will draw near to you."

So Lord, for 2026,

we commit

to lean in.

We commit to draw near to you.

Father God, would you so bless this

church with a blessing and each person

inside of it with a blessing of being

dependent on you

and where we posture ourselves and we

position ourselves in a place where if

you if if if you don't show up, we fall

flat on our face. that we prepare

ourselves

to run after you,

Lord. I pray,

would you hold up this church?

And I declare that as we lean on you

that God, I believe we are going to see

more of your spirit moving than we've

ever seen. We are going to see a new

heart, a new mind, a restoration of old

things that that the enemy has tried to

steal and kill and destroy. That as we

lean into you, as we trust you, as we go

allin with you, Lord, that we will see

your spirit move in ways that we never

thought possible.

Lord, I believe

that Collective Church is going to be a

church

that knows your voice better than ever.

I believe that your voice will become

clearer,

that all the other noises of this world

will fall away,

will hear your whispers,

will know your voice.

And through the listening

and the obedience

of leaning in and trusting in you,

Lord, would you do

even greater?

Would you do more

than we could ever ask,

think, or imagine?

It's all on you.

We just get the blessing

to follow and to obey and say yes.

Thank you, God,

for this incredible church

and the incredible fruit that we are

seeing through the moving of your

spirit. Thank you that though there's so

much uncertainty in this world, we are

positive that as we show up together,

you are and will be there.

Your spirit is always moving. Thank you

for the blessing that you've given to

this church. Thank you for the

transformation that you've brought. And

thank you that you are only going to

increase the disciplehip, the

leadership, the transformation, and the

impact that you are bringing about to

this world through this church. We trust

you.

We lean into you.

We listen for you.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray.

Amen.

I am so [music] excited about this word

lean in. Why am I excited? Because it

means that we have an opportunity to

grow and we know that with growth comes

transformation. So, I feel really

expectant for the new year for us as a

church and I feel expectant for us as

individuals.

I want you over the next couple of days,

we've got a couple days till the year

ends. I want you to take out a notebook

at some point over these next few days

and I want you to write down a couple

questions and I want you to think about

it and reflect [music] on 2026. The

first question that I want you to think

about is what [music] did you do this

past year that you are proud of?

What do you look back on the disciplines

that you wrote down in January of 2025

and you look back and you're like I am

proud that I did this.

And then the second thing is I want you

to write down

what in 2026, how are you going to lean

in? What does that look like for you

[music] in your walk with the Lord, with

your family, with your church family?

How do you want to lean in? And just

write it down. And then take some time

to pray. Pray into it. things that we

have intention with

are vastly we have a way bigger chance

of actually doing them when we take time

to write it down and then to seal it in

prayer. So I know I'm going to do that

over the next couple days. I hope you do

as well and let's start 2026 off right

next week we are going to be back in

person. We're starting a new year

together. So I I in September, we made

this commitment that we were going to

come to church every week in person. And

maybe you haven't been able to do that

in 2025, but let's make it a new habit

in 2026. Let's all be in the room on

this first Sunday to gather together, to

pray, to worship, to hear the word, and

to be edified by the whole body of

Christ. A couple things that we have

coming up that we want to be sure to

tell you about in advance is Sunday,

January 4th, we are starting an all

church fast. [music] Why are we doing a

fast? Well, we always want to start our

year off right. We want to start it in a

posture of surrender where we are saying

God we are giving up these things for

these first two weeks of the year as a

sign of surrender as a sign of saying

God we want you more. And so we are

doing a media and food fast. You can

pick any type of media that you want to

give up. Could be gaming, could be

social media, Netflix, YouTube. And then

on top of that, we are doing a food

fast. Picking a food that you are going

to give up for those two weeks. [music]

It could be sweets. It could be sugar.

It could be I'm only going to eat this

certain type of way for the next two

[music] weeks. So, alongside that, we

are doing a reading plan. You'll see a

QR code where you can click that and

it's going to sign you up for text.

you're going to get a daily reading text

along with a little excerpt of

about that specific thing that we are

reading that day. So, we are really

really excited about that. Please join

in on this and then we'll break the fast

together January 18th with a lunch.

Another thing that we have coming up

Tuesday, January 6th is [music] our

first prayer service of the year. We

want everybody to be a part of this

service. It is [music] so important to

us that we are a praying church. So,

let's start the year right together

where we come and just pray and worship

and hear a message from Pastor Drew. So,

6:30 p.m. we have child care for ages 0

to 5 and that's going to be at Kingsway

Church.
