  1. Look chapter 15, the prodigal son ended up in the pig pen and says he came to himself.

  2. No man comes to God until he first appears to himself and life becomes a reflective mirror

  3. that only shows the image of the one looking into it and the consequences of your own selfish

  4. actions that have brought you to such a place. And it is there that many will then turn to Christ

  5. and be saved. Welcome to the City Light Church podcast. Thanks for joining us today.

  6. As we look into God's word and discover the hope and truth that he has for us.

  7. If you want to connect with City Light Church, feel free to visit us at citylightnyc.com.

  8. That's citylightnyc.com. Pastor Boyan Jansik and his team believe that the power of the

  9. Holy Spirit is already working in our hearts and minds. As you listen to today's teaching,

  10. remember that you are deeply loved by God, that you are surrounded by his grace,

  11. and that he has a real hope and a future for you.

  12. The Lord is good, amen. Happy Mother's Day, mommy's.

  13. So I didn't know it was going to be here today, you know, so I'm like, you know,

  14. I got my run-and-suit on, but I don't run. So, you know, obviously I'm a fat guy.

  15. But, you know, man, I met Jesus here 51 years ago when I wasn't looking for him.

  16. And he was looking for me. And he called me to preach. I was saved at 19 or deemed at 21.

  17. And don't do that unless the Lord is definitely called you because you have to be out of your mind

  18. to be a pastor or cold of God. I'm dead serious. That's crazy. I've been pastor in Elvis 40 years,

  19. you know, New York and, you know, Florida. So I didn't know it was preaching today.

  20. And, you know, my son and my wife, mother and my children, died here 20 some years ago,

  21. and that kind of broke me, you know, so I needed a sabbatical and would have it so long stirring.

  22. So I went to Florida and the Lord was good, you know, and I, after years of being alone,

  23. the Lord sent me a woman. And my only prayer was Lord, give me someone that will love me,

  24. that will love you more than she loves me. And God gave me Bella. And Bella has been the love of my,

  25. my life. And good, the Lord is good, amen. And so I thought that the sword had not pierced my soul

  26. anymore with death and then last week my daughter was killed here. She was struck by a motorcycle.

  27. And so the Lord, come here, listen a little boy, look at this little face. Look at this little face.

  28. He said, some face. Turn around so they can see you. What's your name? Look at that face on Calvin.

  29. You know, look at that. You know, angels, angels are very big, but they have the face of children.

  30. That's correct. Calvin, you're going to bring Jesus to people when you get older like Pastor Tommy here.

  31. Do you know that? You knew that already, didn't you? So you don't have to work with that. The Lord

  32. is going to put his hand upon you and he'll give you words and you'll speak effortlessly

  33. to people about the Lord. So I'm going to do what I did for your pastor's son when he went to

  34. wherever they were last time building houses. Where were you guys in the cargo? Guatemala.

  35. And I sowed what's in his pastor's son, little boys over there, minister. So I said, I cash

  36. after some bucks. Victor, yeah, I'm sown into his ministry. So I'm sown that into your ministry.

  37. So my daughter is in heaven, amen. And my son's in heaven and the mother and my children in heaven.

  38. And I'm here praising Jesus. I'm not in denial. I'm in grace. The supernatural presence of Almighty God

  39. that is more than a match for any situation, but you have to stay very close to Jesus.

  40. When I'm following the man, when I'm following the religion, we have met Jesus. And he is alive,

  41. my friends. I know he is because I talked to him this morning and he answered me, amen. We live in

  42. a society right now. We are witnessing the meltdown of a Western civilization. We are seeing the

  43. rise of something that I don't want to talk about this time past. I have to bring me back for

  44. that another time. But I want to say this to you, my friends, we need to be community.

  45. This is we are living in a go to society. We go to the movies. We go to the, you know, we go to work,

  46. right? We go to 7-11. We go here. We go there. You know, we go to a bowl game and we go to church.

  47. It's a go to society. Church is never meant to be a go to. Church is your community.

  48. It's a community. And if you want to know what a real church looks like, Paul draws a biological sketch

  49. in Ephesians 4 and he tells us we're bone and marrow and we're joints that are supplying each

  50. other with love and I'm about you. I need love. I need love, my friends. And I'm witness I'm here

  51. right now standing before you having very two children and I'm healthy mentally while my wife

  52. would question that. But I may be nuts but I'm screwed on the right bowl. Amen. But here I am

  53. emotionally, viscerally healthy. You know, I'm severely, you know, I'm like happy. I'm like,

  54. Lord, should be falling apart. But I'm sustained by the grace of God and by the comfort of my people,

  55. my people, the church of Jesus Christ. If I didn't have brother George and the community of the

  56. church around me, thousands and thousands on Long Island that are my family. When my wife passed

  57. away, there was little over 2,000 people at the funeral. My son massed thousands of people.

  58. This is my family. New York is my family. That's not something I go to. This is we're not day

  59. tripping here. We go to church and we want to go out on our way. It's good to know this is our life.

  60. Become integrated into this church. Integrate into this. You have to integrate into the church.

  61. The church is your family. You know, we see you, but I love God, but I don't like people.

  62. You hear me hear that? I like people. You don't want to go to heaven. There's going to be some folks

  63. there. You know, you know, I mean, it's crazy. You know, because you're the church of church. I'm

  64. here right now. Church is like cereal, fruit, loobs and nuts. We got them all. And some people sitting

  65. right now, they're like, you know, they've given me that look like I've been kidnapped and dragged

  66. here. What time does this thing get over? But I can assure you, man, this is real. This is real. What

  67. we're talking about is real, I need to get to my message, but it's real. But the problem is we have

  68. to learn. Jesus only gave us one commandment. I got a news flash. One. He gave the years of

  69. Israelites 10. They couldn't keep any of them. So he said, let me redefine this for you in John 1334

  70. and 35, a new commandment. I give to you. Here it is. Cut and dry. Love one another as I have loved

  71. you. By this, you'll all might know you're my disciples. If you have a gopeh love, if you love

  72. one another, careful one another, love one one cries. The other takes salt. Love one another. That's

  73. the only command he gave. That's the, on his hands, every other teaching. In fact, the Apostle said

  74. everything is summed up in the Bible in these words. Have a fervent love for one another.

  75. Jesus said, you're all mental, you're my disciples. Up because you're speaking tons, raised the dead,

  76. healed the sick. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Yeah. No. That's not how, listen, I've been all over the

  77. world. I've studied shintoism, towers and Confucianism deeply into the occult. So, I'm along

  78. shan, the third eye, Eckertopold, Swinchule. I've been heavily into the Koran, the Kabbalah, the

  79. Baba Vegeta. I've lectured and spoken all over this world. People have met people of every kind

  80. of faith and I'm going to tell you the greatest most distinctive thing wherever I've been around the

  81. world. I know Christians, true Christians, because they love one another. I've been in Russia,

  82. preaching all over the world. I mean, people, I don't even know. I'm in a meeting. I can't

  83. love you. I love you too. But it's people who have known me. We're in love. You know, it's

  84. crazy. But that's how you know that you're a Christian. Of course, in the days that are coming,

  85. and listen to me, the great and terrible day of the Lord is around the corner. I'm telling you

  86. this, if you may never see me again, things are changing very quickly and will continue to change

  87. because everything in the Bible that said is going to happen is going to happen.

  88. And so I'm not going to get into it right now. We're going to need one another.

  89. Okay, I didn't get a standing ovation. I'm going to say this again. You're going to need one

  90. another in a certain manner. And I'm not talking about getting into little groups, you know,

  91. with, you know, after this. If I go to a church, it's all white people. I don't want to go there.

  92. Something's wrong. I so I'm not telling you, I preach a thousand church all over the world.

  93. And if I go there, it's all one after the church. Listen, it's in China. It's something,

  94. you know, they're going to all change folks, whatever. But in America, if you come here and you

  95. got one ethnicity, you got a problem. Now, give me just give me a little sign of life here this morning.

  96. You got a problem if it's all white folks, black folks, but something's wrong, people. Like

  97. Daenerys, that something's wrong over here. Something is wrong. In heaven, you're going to have

  98. everybody's going to be there. All kinds of people. I was witnessing to a dude this morning in one

  99. of these bodegas. I said, Jesus loves you. He goes, yeah, I know what man. He said, but you know,

  100. Jesus is black. I said, let me tell you something, son. I said, he may be. I don't know me. You know,

  101. maybe as much as black. I said, I'll tell you one thing. God is not white. He's not black. He's a

  102. spirit. Come on. God is a spirit. And those that worship him, much worship him in spirit. You

  103. are in the right church because what I see out here is all different ethnicities. Well, when God

  104. looks on the earth, he doesn't see black, white, red, yellow, green, he's saved and unsafe. That's it.

  105. That's it. So let me tell you this. Can I preach for a second? Okay. Let me just give this to say,

  106. this ain't my message in passage. I'm just saying, hola hand, you better wrap this up. And remember,

  107. sermons do not have to be eternal to be immortal. So I'll make this as quick as possible.

  108. There was an argument one day in the carpenter's shop. And the latter said to the ruler, he said,

  109. I don't like you. So the ruler said, what's your problem, Mr. Hay and Mighty?

  110. The ruler said, you know, you're always judging people by your own standards.

  111. To which the hammer said, you know, both you need to be quiet. And you know, the ruler said,

  112. you always making noise, having to bang everything. The sandpaper said, you know, you all awaken me up.

  113. Oh, yeah, Mr. Sandpaper, you're always rubbing people the wrong way.

  114. To which jumped in the level. And the level said, I can't stand any of you.

  115. So, yeah, you missed a balance on everything.

  116. At which point, you know, in walk to carpenter.

  117. And the sore got involved, right? The carpenter's walking in the source and you guys,

  118. I can't stand any of you. And I said, what you shut up? You're always cutting people off.

  119. How many sores do we have? You know, New Yorkers, we're sored. You know what I'm talking about?

  120. Try to have a conversation in New York. Forget about it. It ain't going to happen.

  121. Yeah, how are you doing? You start telling somebody, you know, I'm going through this.

  122. Yeah, anyway, hey, look at the bird over there. Where am I going? Look at the bird.

  123. So, you know, my ear fell off less. I don't worry about it. Here's some soup of gold.

  124. Get it. I don't worry about it. Let's go. Let's catch this up when New Yorkers,

  125. New Yorkers, we're crazy here, bro. I've been all over the world, man. Nobody in New York is going

  126. to have a special section in heaven. Forget about it. Forget about it. I told the church this morning,

  127. I mean, I'm preaching over in Russia after perestroika the war walls have come down to communism.

  128. And I said to my son who was alive at the time, I said, dude, I can find a New Yorker anywhere.

  129. He's like, daddy, it's been 70 years of bullshivism here. And there's New Yorkers. I said,

  130. hang loose. About a 15-hour-lady guy comes walking down the road. I said, guys,

  131. New Yorkers, pop, come on. I walked, I said, excuse me, so wait for him. He goes to Bronx,

  132. wait for him. I said, I'm from Brooklyn, New York. Yeah, I'll, bro,

  133. forget about. I'll forgive you for that. I'm from New York. And so my son walks away,

  134. he's like, daddy, how did you know the guy was from the Bronx? I said, we walk around like me

  135. on the place. Now, what do you do? What do you do? What am I doing? Let's go. Get that thing over

  136. you. Let's move that age. Come on, I'm going down. We're like traffic cops, although we're

  137. running the world. It's crazy. So New Yorkers are some New Yorkers, my God, man. We're, you know,

  138. New York is something else. Mark Twain said, he said, New York is not a place that's a state of

  139. mind and that's the truth. He also said the only people that like change or what babies.

  140. Mark Twain was smart. So in, you see, it took you a delay, right?

  141. Some of you're going to get there when you go home, you go, I get it. Change it. What, baby?

  142. I got it now. That's okay. That was bad acid you took years ago. It's going to pick in with,

  143. you know, stay with me. So what happens is, you know, into the carpentry shop, it works the

  144. carpentry, right? The, you know, the tools arrive when they're fighting. In walks the carpentry.

  145. He picks up the sword and he begins to cut with it. And he cuts some boards with it. He picks

  146. up the hammer and he begins to nail with it. He picks up the sandpaper and begins to smooth it.

  147. He takes the level. He makes sure everything is balanced. He uses the ruler to cut it up.

  148. And the carpenter builds out of all the tools in the shop. He builds a pulpit from which the gospel

  149. of Jesus Christ is preached around the world. God needs every one of you to get the gospel out of

  150. this place to a world that needs good news. Bring this up. Bring this up. God needs the

  151. sores. He needs the hammers. He needs the sandpaper. We're all different, man. Some allowed,

  152. some acquired, some are introverted, some are extroverted. It doesn't matter. It's whatever you

  153. are. You are important. You are valuable. Are you listening to me? You are valuable. You are

  154. very, very important to this place. This place, if God puts you here, you've got to love the sandpaper

  155. people. I'm telling you right now, do I know some sandpaper people? You know, especially

  156. New York, I got to tell you something, brother, but I got to tell you this in love. That's when you

  157. know you're about to get. When a Christian says brother, you know I love you, right? I'm like no,

  158. you know what, go to a store to somebody else. I got, you know, you know, it's like, you know,

  159. but we need everybody. You need me, whether you like me or not, because I got something you don't

  160. have. And you've got something I don't have. Right now I'm going through the most difficult times

  161. of my life with the loss of my second child, but you know how I'm being sustained by the body of

  162. Christ. People calling me loving me, Tommy, I love you, Tommy, you know, this, that, picking me up

  163. the air for George driving me here today. My wife and my grandson raised my grandson since he's

  164. as big now. He's like this, you know, and so, you know, man, but I'm not being sustained because I'm

  165. a great man of God. There are no great men of God. They're just men who belong to a great God.

  166. And I will tell you something. Don't think you're going to make this on your own. You're not all

  167. that. The bag of chips, man. You're not big enough. You're not tough enough. You're not intellectual.

  168. Listen, I've got my PhD. I'm not smart enough. You're not bright enough strong enough to make

  169. it through this world without Jesus Christ. Are they personal? I'm not talking about a religion.

  170. How, honey, I like the characters of religion. I'm not talking about a religion. I'm talking

  171. about a relationship of knowing him. You are not. You will end up bitter. You will end up with some

  172. type of weird preclivity in your life. You'll end up just going to something that nobody knows

  173. about your stress. You'll end up a prisoner of something that's going to imprison you, which

  174. you'll hit yourself for while at the same time showing the whole world of the side.

  175. You need Jesus Christ. A real relationship. He wants to take the anger out of you. He wants

  176. to take the self-loving or the grandiose to us where you think you're all that. God wants to

  177. deliver. He wants to set you free. So I wanted to say that to you. That's my introduction.

  178. But that's not really my message. I just love every one of you. I was loved past her if he's

  179. watching wherever he is. I don't know where he is. But he's hurting. I'll tell you right now,

  180. he's not telling you the truth. I'll tell you that right now. He's a lot worse than he's telling you

  181. because he is in severe pain and he needs a miracle. He's not going to go into it either,

  182. but he's really in a lot of pain right now. He really needs us to believe God for a real

  183. touch in his life or else he'd be here, right? Okay. Give the Lord some praise in the house. Would

  184. you please? I want to talk to you this morning about the importance of short prayers. Everybody say

  185. short prayers. Short prayers? Just short prayers. You know, I'm not going to come and say, God wants

  186. you to pray alongside. God wants to talk about the power of just the effectiveness of short,

  187. watch this. Minful prayers. Minful short prayers. There's many kinds of prayers in the Bible. In

  188. fact, in the book of Ephesians chapter six, I love how many love the book of Ephesians? Oh my God.

  189. Read the book of Ephesians. I mean, man, it's crazy. And if you don't want to read the Bible,

  190. ask God to give you a love for his work. Just say, well, I don't really want to read this book.

  191. Ask God to give you a love. I'm also going to be like, I want to read the Bible. Such give me a

  192. hunger for it. And, you know, I used to have a library bigger than this, this bigger. She was

  193. super bigger. You ready for this now? Is my library? What do you do? I have brother Google.

  194. I love brother Google. Hey, Google, give me the transliteration of the Hebrew word Joshua. Show it

  195. to me in the coin a Greek. How was it actually used in Greek literature? Brother Google. He knows

  196. that would have taken me an hour to pluck all of that out. But now, brother Google, who can be used

  197. for better good, right? You can also say brother Google is a holy shimole enough. But I use technology.

  198. I love technology because I use it for God's glory. So I'm getting off the track here. But to say to

  199. you, where was I? I don't know. So, man, you know, he took a book of Ephesians. What a book? What a book?

  200. But he says put on the armor of God. Chapter one, two and three is sit, how to sit in rest in Christ.

  201. Chapter four and five is how to walk with Christ. Chapter six is how to stand for Christ. So when

  202. chapter six, he says put on the full armor of God that you may be able to stand up against all

  203. of these strategies of the devil. I have met God, my friends, and I've also met Satan. I've met him

  204. twice. And I tell you, he's alive. It's not a concept. He's real. He's real. The devil is real.

  205. And the Bible says put on the armor of God that you may be able to stand up against all the tricks

  206. and strategies of the devil. I don't have time to get into all that. But he ends by saying put on

  207. the last piece of armor, you know, whatever the shoes they helmet. But he says, and then he knows

  208. right into praying with all kinds of prayers. What? All kinds of prayers. How many go this? Many

  209. different kinds of prayers, right? Amen. But here's what God is trying to get across to us. God

  210. is desiring that we learn how to communicate with them. And I don't want to get into too much detail.

  211. But there's the prayer of intercession. What is that? That's when you God said in Zechal,

  212. I looked for a man or a woman that would stand in the gap and make up the space and build a wall

  213. for Israel. But I couldn't find any. Israel, excuse me, intercession is when you get between God

  214. and somebody else between God and a situation and you come and you begin to pray and you pull

  215. the two of them together. Give me a vital sign of life, say, man, nod your head, shake your toes,

  216. something here. Let me know you're alive. All right. So listen, man. I mean, you know, that's

  217. intercession. That's God. My aunt right now is going through so much where my husband,

  218. Lord, he's being besieged at work. Oh, my God, he's getting weak. Oh, God, I, you know,

  219. what happened to father. I begin to pray for him. Jesus touched him, draw him, pull him in,

  220. or you pray, you're between God. Here's, here's them. Here's God. Here's the situation. Here's

  221. you. God is seeking for you right now to make up the gap. And for sometimes you have to build a

  222. wall of protection around people when you pray. You got to learn how to build a wall. I wish I had

  223. time to get into maybe pastel. Have me back. And I'll teach you about how to build a wall around

  224. people. You see, well, you know, I just didn't work for you. You lost two children. Uh-huh.

  225. Let me say something to my good friend. God did not take my daughter from me. He took her from her

  226. pain. And I am glad she is with my master right now. Give the Lord some praise in the sight.

  227. How many of you glad you hear this morning?

  228. Are you really glad? Let your face know about it over here. You know what I got to look at it

  229. right now. This is difficult. I thank God that the older I get, the more near-sighted I am. I'm

  230. like they must be all smile. Hey, listen, man. I'm telling you God is so good. Amen.

  231. It's crazy. So intercession, but I've got to move on. Um, you pray for people. Then there's

  232. supplication. You plead for people. Oh, God, please touch my husband, my wife, whatever. You're

  233. pleading as supplementary. Uh, then there's communion with the Holy Ghost. That's just, you know,

  234. you're in the car. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Lord has his prayer. I love you, Jesus. I praise you,

  235. Father. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Oh, you're so good today. That's just what's called the

  236. communion of the Holy Ghost, right? And let me say something. Paul didn't, Paul prayed long,

  237. but he mostly prayed very sure prayers. I mean, he actually said things were like, I says,

  238. you know, how you guys doing? I make mention of you in my prayers. You think Paul, I must pray

  239. nine hours a day. I'm going to show you something. They didn't. They did not. I'm going to show you

  240. this. It's going to blow your mind. Are you ready for this? We also need to learn how to pray the

  241. prayer of repentance. What? Yep, the prayer of repentance. What is that all about? Tell you what

  242. it's all about. God says, Jonah, yes, Lord, go to the river. They're whacked out,

  243. fall asleep and go tell them to repent. Jonah says, ah, yeah, get somebody else.

  244. He's, I'm not going there. He turns around and goes to what? Tarsha. He's, I'm not going to

  245. the river. They're crazy. So it's like going to New York City and preach and somebody goes, I

  246. ain't going to. I'm going to the Virgin Islands. He turns around and tends to Tarsha's, which is

  247. basically the club met of those days. He's going to, he's going to wolf down a few magaritas.

  248. He's, I'm not going to dinner. Get somebody else. God says, oh, really? He gets on a boat. You

  249. know the story. Big hurricane comes. They throw the dude overboard. A whale swells in and it says,

  250. in the belly of hell. He called it hell. He said, I cried out to the Lord and I ask God's forgiveness.

  251. For every one of you that run from God, there is a whale situation that will swallow you and you

  252. will not come out until you turn to God. You ain't big enough. You're not smart enough. You're not

  253. good looking enough. You're not talented enough. You will be brought to a place where there's a

  254. place where you're not getting out until you, until you humble yourself and say, Lord, I need

  255. you real bad. For me, I had to end up in prison. I was a drug runner of the things I don't want to

  256. talk about and get into. But I was a tough guy, a trained fighter, running things. I don't even want

  257. to talk about what I was into many, many years ago. I was also a designer and it's a crazy story

  258. that they make movies out of it. I'm not proud of it. I don't want to glory in my shame. But I thought

  259. I was better than everybody else because I was 19 years old. My girlfriend was a runner for Rolling

  260. Stone magazine. I'm partying with the Jetset. I had, I don't even want to get into everything I

  261. had in life. But when the music stopped, I was miserable because there was a God-shaped hole in

  262. my heart that no amount of women, no amount of dope, no amount of party, no amount of success

  263. could fill that up in my life. Nothing. And I got into the shintoism, Taoism, Confucianism,

  264. Ramalangshan, the Koran, the Kabbalah, the Bavavigir. I went through every religion there was

  265. until one day. I said, God, if you're up there, I'm tired of reading what people think about you.

  266. Tell me if you're up there what you who you are. And it was the next day that somebody told me,

  267. Jesus Christ is alive, not a religion, not a church, the Son of God. That's for another day,

  268. amen? So, you know, man, so, you know, there's different kinds of prayers people. And I got to

  269. stay with my prayer, this is prayers of repentance. It's got to get before the Lord and admit where

  270. you're wrong. He said, well, I'm not wrong about anything. Oh, really? Ask the Lord where he

  271. thinks about that. David said, search me and test me and try me, Lord, to see if there's any

  272. wicked way in me. I worry about people that never do anything wrong. It freaks me out, man,

  273. when it's like, you know, they get crazy, like, I didn't do anything. I'm like, oh,

  274. some holy, what are you going to do for this person? The Holy Spirit will bring you to a place

  275. where you see yourself and you cannot come to God until you come to yourself. Look, chapter 15,

  276. the prodigal son ended up in the pig pen and says he came to himself. No man comes to God

  277. until he first appears to himself and life becomes a reflective mirror that only shows the image

  278. of the one looking into it and the consequences of your own selfish actions that have brought you

  279. to such a place. And it is there that many will then turn to Christ and be saved, but we must

  280. be humble and pray prayers of repentance. Amen, amen, prayers of repentance. So if you've sinned

  281. and minute here, I got you ready for my big theological twist on this. If you've sinned,

  282. are you ready? Yes, yes, yes. And minute, quit it and forget it.

  283. That's my message. I'll see you guys next time.

  284. There's also the layaway prayer. What the heck is that layaway prayer?

  285. As when you buy something like a house, you know, you buy 30-year mortgage boom,

  286. you're given $2,000 a month, $2,000 a month for 30 years. You forget about it. It's like

  287. totally, then one day 30 years has gone, get a nose and mouth. By the way, you own your house. What?

  288. No more mortgage payments. That prayer happened in Acts chapter 10. There was an Italian guy.

    Acts 10 chapter mention

  289. His name was Cornelius. The guy wasn't even a Christian. He didn't have any pay. He didn't have a

  290. pastor. He didn't have brother James. He didn't have a church to go to. He didn't have a Christian

  291. book story. Couldn't order from Amazon. Let me see. Couldn't go to his phone. Okay, so give me the

  292. word for today. I need an app on prayer with Mark Wahlberg. None of this stuff. Nobody. Nobody

  293. to help him. Nobody. The guy was just by himself. He's an Italian dude. His name was Cornelius.

  294. Read it in the book. Don't trust me. Read your Bible. And so one day, you know, he's just,

  295. man, he's used probably eating some pasta. He's hanging out with the family. Boom, man,

  296. an angel shows up. He falls down stocks, works for an angel. Don't do that, man. I'm just an angel.

  297. He said, well, what's up? The angel says, God, your prayers, your prayers. He's looking up. What?

  298. Me? Yeah. Cornelius, your prayers, my what? Everybody say prayers. Are you getting anything out of

  299. this? Yeah. And some of you have that. I've been kidnapped and dragged here. Look, are you getting

  300. anything out of this at all? Cornelius look. Cornelius looks up. God says, angels say, I've come,

  301. your prayers have made a memorial in heaven. You guys got these statues when I walked down. I've

  302. never seen an naked woman. So I walked in this church. I said, what the heck is this?

  303. He said, this woman, there's two things out there. What is that? It looks like Persian. Anyway,

  304. so I said, so I say, I'm trying to put a bra on that thing out there. So anyway, I know some

  305. you can't laugh at the mazes, man. I worry about people that can't laugh, man. You go home,

  306. we put stuff on, you know, on YouTube, you know, stuff is so violent. Come to Jersey, you know,

  307. we put the mask on and chill. Don't do that, man. Don't do it. I put this in my book. Be careful

  308. of the masks you wear. They soon begin to fit. Where was I? I don't know. The heck knows. At this point,

  309. best of all, you guys probably haven't a breakdown. Cornelius is in the past over here.

  310. So anyway, yeah, man. So he's, you know, he's, no, seriously. Cornelius, we didn't

  311. accident. Don't believe me. He's an accident. An angel shows up. Then the angel says,

  312. a Cornelius, yes, your prayers and your giving have come up as a memorial before God. And I've

  313. been sent to tell you, you're going to be used to open up the doors to the whole world for the

  314. Gentiles to get saved. This dude's prayers went up every day. How did he know how to pray? The guy

  315. wasn't even a Jew. He sure was like, wasn't a Christian. He was a Roman centurion. These dudes were

  316. bad. They were into all kinds of polytheism. It was crazy in those days. And I don't know what

  317. happened. Maybe he had a little slave girl, Jewish slave girl that used to pray and he heard it and

  318. was like, ah, maybe God's name is, you know, Yahweh. I don't know. Maybe when he walked past the temple

  319. where the Ark of the Covenant was, he could feel the presence of God. He's, oh, I feel this. I don't

  320. feel this with ash trot or day God or any of the Persian or with the Samaritan gods when I

  321. worshiped those statues. But when I passed the temple, ooh, I can feel joy. Talk to me, somebody.

  322. Talk to me. I don't know how that man began to pray. He didn't have a pastor boy on the same

  323. brother. James says, there's quite a lovely brother. We haven't seen the church. He didn't have

  324. any of that nonsense. He didn't have no Bible. He didn't have the word of the Lord. He didn't have

  325. no prophecy. He didn't have nothing that you got. But the Bible says he prayed. He met with God

  326. and he prayed. And one day the angels showed up and said, son, your prayers have built a memorial.

  327. You've been praying and praying and praying. And now the time has come. You're about to get an

  328. answer. Some of your prayers are going to go up for years, days, months. You'll get no answer

  329. than all of a sudden. Suddenly God brings the blessing. Suddenly that addicted daughter shows up.

  330. Suddenly that sun comes home. Suddenly your breakthrough comes financially. But it's the layaway

  331. prayer. Jump to your feet and give God some praise. I feel a preaching spirit.

  332. I had somebody come to my church one day. He said, every time I let's down,

  333. when you made all this noise, when you make it all this noise, I said, you know, it's interesting.

  334. You go to a football game. They got the fat people there. No shirts on. They get painted green

  335. red horns. Jumping up and down, people screaming for their side. People go to the football game. They

  336. scream like insane Indians come to church and sit like wooden Indians. Hey, listen, man, I got a

  337. news flash for you. That football is made of cow hide. It's injected with air. It goes over a

  338. a goal post. Not one of those footballs has ever brought a marriage together. Not one footballs

  339. ever delivered a child from addiction. Not one of those footballs has ever brought a lunatic

  340. into his right mind. Not one of those footballs has ever taken racism and hatred out of a man's heart

  341. and put loving. But Jesus Christ is in this building. And brother, he has set me free and he

  342. can set you free. Do you want to be on your feet given God the free? I feel a preaching spirit.

  343. Come on on me right now. Jesus name. You see teaching will get you a miracle.

  344. Preaching will show you how to keep and give God praise. Hug somebody before you see that.

  345. Tell somebody before you see that I'm sharp guy. I didn't miss service this morning.

  346. Did you hear me out there? Did you hear me? If you heard me again,

  347. give me a vital sign of life. Get God some praise. We just checked something out here.

  348. Let me lift my foot. How are we doing devil?

  349. Jesus said, don't tread on him. I just have my church stand him up under

  350. the sun in one thousand. See, write a scripture in your foot. This way the devil can read him.

  351. Tell you right now, man.

  352. I love you. I'm almost done. Somebody said, thank God.

  353. Hey, how about Acts 27, the Euroclodon, me just storm hits.

  354. Bone, Paul. I mean, the guy's on a boat. He's ticked off enough because he already told him.

  355. Don't leave. He said, don't sail. He said, that's a good idea. They had a hurricane.

  356. They're out there at sea. It's a mess. Paul disappears. Look at his Paul. Where's that little Jew?

  357. Nobody can find a little guy. What happened there? He's old Jew. He's gone.

  358. What happened to the Jew? I don't love the guy's crazy because he's a Jew talking about the Messiah,

  359. dead, rising. I don't know. Who knows? Maybe he jumped off the ship.

  360. Paul stands up a couple of James ladies. Oh, here he is. Paul, what have you been? Don't worry about it.

  361. I've been in the belly of the ship down below. I've been meeting with God. We have to learn how to meet with God in our storm.

  362. Otherwise, you're going to meet with medication. You're going to meet with the booze again.

  363. We're getting quiet here. So we meet. I know. I've been down the road. I've got a degree in all that

  364. sipping, saying stuff. But hear me out. So you don't want to have it.

  365. Man, listen, you have got to have me back.

  366. Yeah, let's boy on. I passed the boy on.

  367. Listen, man, I am so serious. God sent me free, not long ago, from contamination.

  368. And I mean, I'm one of the fathers here in New York. We call them fathers as fibers, like the mob,

  369. you know. And I went through a burnout, say, passes burnout. And the Lord had to bring me back.

  370. Amen. Restore me. But I was so bound with condemnation, which is self-hatred and not liking to say,

  371. yeah, I'm going to walk around like I want to come myself. But do you know that according to clinical

  372. psychologists, 82% of people live with what's called by the clinical psychologist, it's called

  373. the demon at noon day. And they're not even Christians. That's a coin of phrase, they coined,

  374. which is a phraseology used to describe people who self-load themselves. And we walk around almost

  375. every one of us with the great cloud of self-denunciation. We really don't like ourselves, you say.

  376. And so even if you're raised in almost a perfect environment sociologically, in every way,

  377. they found out through studies that people can be raised in almost a perfect environment and

  378. still grow up thinking their loses, or still grow up not forgiving themselves or walking around,

  379. oh my God, if everybody knew who I really was. And we go through this thing, I don't

  380. have time to really do any justice. But as Christians, we do things we shouldn't do as Christians,

  381. you are all going to do them. And then we carry that load with us for the rest of our life,

  382. faking it till we make it because we are condemned. God gave me a word called freedom from all

  383. condemnation. Oh my Lord, when you hear what God has given me on how to be absolutely free

  384. of all condemnation, no matter what you've done, you are going, I'm telling you right now,

  385. you're going to run straight up this building into a wall. You're going to run straight

  386. this building into a store where you will there get me a cup of coffee in a big alley, all right?

  387. So, so anyway, man, you know that the Southern is down there, they don't know nothing about,

  388. you know, bagels and stuff. These people like, you know, my wife is a Southern, right? I'm

  389. married to Southern Italian girl. She knows nothing about us. I brought up here to New York,

  390. you know, to meet my friends the first time. And when I walk in, how are you? I knew you're

  391. up where he's teasing each other, right? So I walk in my friend's and he said, okay, tell me,

  392. what the heck happened? You blew up like a tick because I got, I got heavy. She's talking to me,

  393. I said, dude, you're wider than you are tall. I said, you've got to be kidding, you're calling me

  394. naked. So we're going, and my wife just says, there's, oh my Bella, where are you? Where's my wife?

  395. I go downstairs, she's crying in the basement. I said, Bella, what are you doing? She says,

  396. y'all, y'all, y'all. She said, you know, when I was fixing to come, I said, Bella, don't use

  397. this fixing stuff. I said, listen, in New York, we fix things, right? Like washing machines and

  398. cars, we don't go fixing to go places. I said, these people think you're nuts. You know, she'll say,

  399. well, golly, you know, golly, macro, golly. I said, what do we got? The Beverly Hill Bellies

  400. over here, golly. You know what I'm talking about? So son, I so she didn't get us, you know,

  401. like, took a long time to induct her into our way over here. Now she kind of gets us.

  402. I don't even know what's going with that. What's going with that story? I better stay with this man.

  403. I got a close out of you. I'm telling you, point New York is something else. I'm telling you.

  404. Closing it right now. You ready? Are you ready? Short prayers produce great results.

  405. My objective is not to get you to pray a long time here for hours. That day may come,

  406. if God calls you to be an insassessor, because the more time you spend with Jesus, the more time

  407. you want to be with them. My subject is the essence of brief prayers. Elijah the prophet prayed

  408. a 64 word prayer, fire fell from heaven and killed 450 prophets of bell, 64 where it was brief

  409. into the point. You don't have to pray a long prayer to be heard, but you have to pray to be heard.

  410. Peter prayed a one sentence prayer, the Apostle Peter prayed a one sentence prayer,

  411. and a man sitting there that couldn't walk, he was born crippled, jumped off and ran to city life

  412. church, leaping and praising God. One sentence. Are you all not hearing me? I'm going to the

  413. Catholic church right now to preach them if you guys want to do something.

  414. Peter prayed a one sentence prayer, still don't go up and down since it's not going to have to give

  415. on till you rise up and walk us. Boom, get healed. There you go, Thou mighty as God,

  416. their dwellest in the heavens. All Thou mighty as God, He says in the Greek the aromatic,

  417. it says in the Hebrew, if thou shalt come with thy mighty power and touch us this mighty man

  418. who is crippleist, thou willest do a great favor for us all this Lord. Just say get out and

  419. Jesus name. Boom, power God, hit the guy and he starts rung around. Hallelujah. That's what it takes.

  420. Paul the Apostle was having a fortune teller following him all over Asia. She's crying out,

  421. crazy woman and Paul turns around and just says a 14 word prayer. The demon comes out of her

  422. and she gets set free and revival breaks out in Asia. Somebody talk to me, please.

  423. And Isaiah 38 has a chia prayed a 29 word prayer. He's on his deathbed dying. It's over for the guy.

  424. He's got his everything's laid. He's gone. The prophet walks in and says get your house in order

  425. and you're going to die. And the prophet walks out as a chia rolls over and faces the wall, says

  426. God, please remember me. I've been pretty good Lord. Please help me. I don't want to die. God

  427. stops the promises. Go tell them. I just give them 15 more years. Somebody needs to praise God.

  428. It was a 29 word prayer. 20 now. Don't let the devil deceive you. You don't pray enough. Shut up devil.

  429. You can't pray at all. Paul said, I make mention of you in my prayers. Amen. He said,

  430. I make mention of you. Say what? He made mention of the Lord. God touched you. This father,

  431. I pray that you would touch Timothy. Father, fill him up today. Thank you, Master. Lord, I pray that

  432. you touch a little sister over here that we left in the revival. Just father, lift her up,

  433. bring her husband, a heart again. Father, he said, I have simply made mention. Can I make this

  434. any easier for you? Can I make this any easier? This is simple. All you have to do is pray and

  435. stick with it long enough, what you'll be like. It's something's happening here. This is

  436. answering my prayers. You know my son, I haven't heard from him in 20 years. He calls me.

  437. Oh yeah, you wait, you wait. Jesus, I'm closing with this right here. Okay, I'm closing right.

  438. No closing means right? It means nothing. Man, I'd love to call NBC and tell them to close down

  439. the football game is going too long. That isn't happening. When they asked Jesus, they said,

  440. John's disciples said, Lord, would you teach us how to pray? John the Baptist is disciples

  441. who are making us look bad. Jesus said, okay, and Jesus gave them, are you ready for this?

  442. A 68 word prayer and said, if you're going to pray, pray like this, our father would have.

  443. 68 words. He made it simple. There is no reason, no reason for any one of us

  444. by the Holy Spirit strength if you'll ask him to begin to make prayer your life.

  445. You can touch him in the morning on the subway. You better be trained on the subway.

  446. My people won't even let me in. You see, I got people that I got people in New York.

  447. The most a lot of them are from the mob. The Gambino family, right? You know the Gambino family.

  448. You know what the Gambino family is, right? One of the five families, right? One of my best friends

  449. full of the Holy Ghost on Fire of God, Andrew Gambino. He said, I'm kidding. He was there last night

  450. in the funeral. He walked up to his head and passed out. You know, something good, bro. How do you

  451. do? You know anything? Let me know. You understand? He said, okay, let's know.

  452. Dead serious, man. Somebody mobsters got saved in my church in the 80s and 90s. Forget about.

  453. It was crazy. You know, they stabbed my secretary 22 times in her bed because they hated us

  454. because we bought the blacks and whites of Spaniards together in the 70s. She might have been one

  455. of the stabs. I don't know. They told me, Mrs. Hollerhand, you're not going to live to be 30 years old

  456. and you keep this stuff up. I said, really? And so they stopped us from putting up a building.

  457. It would go nuts because we brought everybody together. You understand? We brought everybody together.

  458. And my secretary got stabbed 22 times with a butcher knife, ripped her, what you call it?

  459. The comforter she was in completely off her body, caught in all over the wall with a guy stabbing her.

  460. And the miracle is she was released from the hospital that night because only two times

  461. they'd penetrate her body about a cent of me to that was it was the cops that we'd never seen

  462. like in our life. It was crazy. Crazy. I got to stand on my point on this and end it. But we prayed

  463. for her. So crazy things started happening and they're going nuts, nuts trying to stop us from

  464. building. These people are full of hatred, full of hatred for ethnicity, man. And what we said,

  465. you know what, we're going to what God tells us to do. So what happened was man, they just went nuts,

  466. they dragged us to court and they wouldn't let us put up the building. They try to get a lot of

  467. nonsense in there. But it was all about the black white issue and it's about it and what it's all

  468. together. It's the devil. The devil divides, God adds, right? So what happened was I'm like, you

  469. know what, Lord, you got to do something. I get a phone call from the Caroleo family.

  470. He says, Pastor, who do you know in the mob? I know some lot of people in the mob.

  471. You have a, who do you really know? I started to tell you, I know why. It's just because

  472. a limo pulls up yesterday to the board. You know, and you have to have a board of provey for

  473. you can build anything. He said, this big guy gets out of there. Should I tell this?

  474. Yes. You know what? I shouldn't tell this story because some of you are just only

  475. going to remember it. Some of you guys say, what are you pleased about? I don't know. He's talking

  476. about the mob, you know? Did he talk about prayer? I don't know. I just like the story about the mob,

  477. you know what I'm saying? Yeah, I hope that guy comes back. Why? Because I like this story

  478. is about the mob, you know? Even he doesn't preach to tell mob stories. So no, this crazy stuff,

  479. so the, so this guy gets out of his car, guys in the mob. That guy was in Lichese family.

  480. He knocks on the door of one of the guys that's a board member that's got to give me approval.

  481. I didn't send a guy. He knocks on the door. The guy opens up the door. He says, are you so and so?

  482. Guy says, yeah. He says, Joey says, now who he was talking about was Joey Masaro. He owned all

  483. the strip clubs along on. He's now doing life. He says, Joey says, leave Hollahan alone. That's

  484. me. He says, or you're going to end up in a box. You understand? That's serious, bro. This is in the

  485. 80s. So Vic tells me, this is past. I said, look, I ain't seen nothing, brother. I have given

  486. done nothing for the mob. You need to do something for the mob. You want them for the rest of your

  487. life. You know, I'm not so forget about it. So anyway, I don't know how I got that story, but

  488. the next, we've got approval in two weeks. How many of God uses the mob? God uses the mob.

  489. When my son was killed, right? My daughter calls me to daddy and blah, blah, blah, blah. It's

  490. 20 years ago. The next call, I'm in Florida. They're here. The next call I did is from Rosanne.

  491. And she said, that's it. We're so sorry, you son. We heard about it. We're, I said, how did you,

  492. how did you know we got it? How did you know what happened to him? She says, Joey, Joey. I said,

  493. Joey, Joey's doing life in Marion State Prison in Illinois. Next to the ice man from Bergen county

  494. in Noriega. I said, how did he? She says, Tommy, he knows everything. He knows more what's going on

  495. there than you guys know here. Forget about it. The mob, crazy people. All right, I got to close.

  496. Joey comes to me and the guy to the guys in doing life knows the past. He says, you know, I killed

  497. the guy. I said, okay, you know, I said, he's out of feds or honor to feds, understand, understand.

  498. He says, you think I'm a Christian now? I'm thinking, I hope he is. He had his buddy got saved

  499. with him and somebody hit his motorcycle. There's a pagan. You know the pagans, all right,

  500. motorcycle again, those angels guys. Somebody knocked his bike over. Dude, you might

  501. still hang yourself if you're not going to their bike. You're dead. It's all over. So I get a

  502. phone call because the member of my congregation, that his bike got knocked over, picked up a garbage can

  503. and threw it to the guys living in a window while he's watching TV. So the guy calls me and says,

  504. you passed the hall. I said, you got a guy in your church and so I said, he said, he's supposed

  505. to be a Christian. He said, he's supposed to be a Christian. He said, yeah, he is a Christian.

  506. He says, he's a Christian. He says, I hit his motorcycle and put my garbage can through the

  507. living room window. How is he a Christian? I don't know what I was going to say. All right, I know.

  508. He says to me, you call him a Christian. I said, yes, he is. I said, now think about this.

  509. If you left his bike down and he wasn't a Christian, you would have been in the garbage can with it.

  510. Am I right? You don't get motorcycling. Listen, you don't do it. You don't hit their bikes.

  511. So I said, imagine if he did this to us a Christian, what do you think he would have done if he

  512. wasn't a Christian? Sharp you up, put you in the garbage can over here. Am I right or wrong? Am I

  513. right or wrong? Next time I come here, I'm coming to the Baptist church, they give her

  514. biggest shout out. Anyway, how many words did Jesus tell you to pray when you pray?

  515. 68. Our father wasn't having it. I prayed every morning. I do. Do I pray sometimes? I

  516. meet with Jesus in the morning. Never. I own a very big company in Florida. I can never have

  517. enough time with the Lord. I love being in prayer. There's times I can't believe it.

  518. Jesus, three hours has gone and I'm just Lord. I can't wait. I'm with you reading the word

  519. worship in Jesus. Hallelujah. In reading the word, not because I'm a great man of God. There

  520. are no great men of God. They were just men up along to a great God. And I'm not a minister.

  521. First, I follow Jesus and I'm doing what I did when I got saved at 19. I'm just following Jesus.

  522. I'm still dependent on him. I'm still in love with him. He's my joy. I need to stay close to him

  523. because I feel so much joy when I'm close to Jesus. I need Jesus. I need his peace. I love him.

  524. If I stay in love in here, I can love this shmigil that's driving me around all over the place.

  525. You know, so I got to say that I love brother to it. You know, if I don't stay close to Jesus,

  526. I'm not going to love you. I'm going to judge you. Now, let me try to say after the room over here.

  527. If I don't stay close to Jesus, I'll be looking at your faults. You see, Adam and Eve never knew

  528. they were naked until they sinned. You will never see your brother's nakedness when you're in sin.

  529. When you're in for God, you don't see the nakedness. It's only when you're sinned,

  530. do you see other people sin? So you got to stay close to Jesus. The Bible says, as in water,

  531. face the answer to face, so the heart of man to man, what you see in each other is reflection

  532. of what's looking now. You have to stay full of Jesus so you can love people. Love covers a multitude

  533. of sinned. It covers sinned. Did you hear that about sister so-and-so? Yes, I did. This is the

  534. bucket mouth. What else do you want to tell me? I'm just going to my church. She's like, you know,

  535. when you're deacon smog, she knows she smogs. I said, Jesus, once in my neighborhood,

  536. when she smogs, I said, okay, you know, what is what we know? There's no description of the Bible

  537. so she shouldn't smoke. We shouldn't smoke. I mean, I said, it's killing, right? I said, she said,

  538. I said, but there's a lot of talk in that Bible about the tongue. I'd rather have a deacon

  539. smog in a cigar over here than a mouth that won't stop gossiping. Holy schmoling.

  540. I mean, I'd rather have them don't smoke and don't gossip, but yeah, that's what we get up there.

  541. How many glad you hear this one? If this wasn't a great message,

  542. I wasn't prepared. I just came to send my daughter to heaven. I don't know it's preaching to

  543. I had to put this together real quick, but do you think it was from the Lord? Are you sure?

  544. Then I have to say I think I'm done. All right. Remember, that's it. So the heartfelt prayer,

  545. James 5-6 tell about you, bro. Are we having a good time tonight? Are you learning something

  546. over here? I'm walking over here. Are you learning something? Are you learning something?

  547. Somebody do this. I think the person next to you might have gone home to heaven and you don't

  548. even know it. Make sure not. Now let's go. Jesus have mercy. Sometimes some of you look like

  549. you've been baptized and pickled juice. Listen to me now.

  550. So is Paschal. I'll let it stop. So anyway,

  551. I'll make this quick. James 5-16, the heartfelt prayer of a Christian,

  552. has much power in the Greek coin A. Greek says it has it's wonderful, brings wonderful results.

  553. It just has to come from the heart. It has to come from the heart. One day it's a car broken

  554. down on the side of the road. The guy couldn't fix it. It's kids, his wife's in the car. It's hard.

  555. Well, a machine pulls up. True story. I'm done. I'm actually done yet.

  556. And because I'm getting hungry.

  557. Jesus helped me.

  558. So anyway, car, let me see. It pulls. It's got to get out. It's a guy. Guys covered with grease,

  559. so the car won't start. He said, sir, can I look at change? Guys, let's go ahead.

  560. We get stuff all over. Guys, don't worry about it. Rolls up his sleeves, begins to work on the engine.

  561. Five minutes. Boom. It's fixed. Just get in there. God turns it on. Boom. Cars.

  562. God says, okay, he starts walking back to him. He said, sir, why would you stop and do this?

  563. He said, you know, who are you? He says, my name is Henry Ford. That's one of my cars.

  564. I don't like to see my cars on the side of the road broken. I want them fixed. God is

  565. your fixer. God doesn't want your marriage broken. I need somebody to help me. He doesn't want you

  566. broken in your addiction. He doesn't want to leave you and that mess you in. When he comes by,

  567. he sees a broken heart. He sees who's left you, who's walked out on you. He sees who's promised

  568. you this, but gave you nothing. He knows your heart is hurt. He knows you need fixing. But the

  569. Lord will do it. He'll fix you. How many know he's a fixer? Sometimes, sometimes, he will put

  570. you in a fix. See, God will fix a fix to fix you. But if you fix to fix God, put you into

  571. fix you. He'll fix another fix to fix you. So when God puts you in a fix, let God do the fixer

  572. in you. Because God knows in the closest people know you need fixing over here.

  573. God pulls up. He don't want to see your life broken down. He's going to fix it. He stands

  574. in your feet with you. Bower of your head in every eye closed. I'm calling you to Jesus right now.

  575. You may have walked in this building. You said, Mr. Hall of Hand, Tommy, I believe in God, but

  576. so does the devil. The longest journey is now from here to China. It's the 18 inches from the head

  577. to the heart, whose service shall believe from their heart on the Lord Jesus. So every head bow

  578. please every eye closed. 2,000 years ago on a bloody cross that became an altar. The son of God

  579. was nailed to that cross. Several hours prior, they took his back off with a cat and nine tails.

  580. Put a bonnet of thorns one inch on his skull and then beat it into his head with a read. A bat

  581. spit in his face blindfolded him and tore his beard out. And every moment of that would happen to him.

  582. I should have gone through that. Jesus Christ died as me, not just for me, but as me. He died on

  583. that cross because of my sins and your sins. Yes, sir. Yes, ma'am, I said our sins. You see,

  584. something unites every one of us under the sound of my voice. And I preached this in meetings

  585. right all over America to mass thousand. Sometimes the hundreds, but every day to a few, I bring this

  586. same message. We all have a similarity. We all have a common disease. It's called sin. We're born

  587. with it. It's what makes us angry when we shouldn't be selfish when we should be selfless. It makes

  588. us hate it. It makes us just do the things that we shouldn't do. My God, what is wrong with me? It's

  589. sin. It's in our nature. A dog has boxed by nature. A cat me owls by nature. And we, my good friends,

  590. we sin by nature. When my children were little, nobody never saw mommy and daddy fighting over

  591. anything or saying, give me that. Give me, give me. But here they were just one and two years old

  592. fighting over a little toy. Give me now mine, mine, mine. Hitting each other where they get

  593. that's not taught, that's their nature. What can cleanse your soul from sin? Nothing but the blood

  594. of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus. Oh, precious, is that flow

  595. that makes me clean? I know. No other felt I know. Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

  596. While every head is bowed and every eye is closed, I'm asking you to come to Jesus. I may never see

  597. you again. And if you forget me, you have forgotten nobody important. But if you walk out of this

  598. building and leave your heart empty, trying to fill it over and over again with things that are

  599. temporary, you see, friend, there's a God-shaped hole in your heart and only Christ can fill it.

  600. All religions reach up for God. Christianity reaches down for man. Would you come to Jesus today?

  601. Would you come to Jesus? I'm not here to get you to join a church or religion. There are

  602. several people here that used to really walk with Jesus, but you drifted away, you drifted away.

  603. And you're not happy. Come back to my Jesus now. I'm going to count to three. And at the count of

  604. three, I want to simply ask those of you that say, Pastor Tommy, I want to give my life to Jesus.

  605. I want you to put your hand up and I'm going to pray for you right now that I'm going to leave.

  606. Just let me pray for you. He dragged you across up the hill of Calvary. You can surely raise

  607. your hands and mean business. You're coming to Jesus right now. It's time. There's no more time

  608. left. It's the midnight hour, friend. You have no time left. You'll take you as you are and change

  609. your heart in mind. You'll have a miracle where you'll say, oh my God, I feel His presence and power.

  610. It's really real. You must be born again. Yes, yes, you must be born again. Jesus said that.

  611. I'm going to count to three. At the count of three, I'm going to pray for you. Put your hand up.

  612. You want Jesus. Get ready. One, Father, touch every heart in this building. You touch

  613. yourself every heart, every mind, every life. Get ready. He's speaking to you. Two, there's an angel

  614. on one shoulder saying, give your life to Jesus. There's a devil on the other saying, don't do it.

  615. Don't do it. It's time for you to come. My friends at Christ and ask His forgiveness and invite

  616. Him in to be your Lord. Get ready with your hands. You're not here to talk to man. You're here to

  617. talk to God. Those of you that want to receive Jesus as your own personal Lord and Savior right now.

  618. Every head, battle be I close. One, two, three. Put your hand up right now so I can pray for you. I see

  619. that hand. I see that hand. There's others here. There you go. God bless you. God bless you for

  620. that hand. There's others here right now. Come on. Come on. Don't let the enemies. Don't let pride

  621. keep you where you're where your sin has brought you. You're coming to Jesus. You'll walk out of

  622. this building. If you meet it, you'll say, oh my God. Oh my God. I feel the presence and the power

  623. of Jesus Christ. Not a religion or relationship. Every one of you raise your hand. Don't be ashamed.

  624. Don't be ashamed. Don't be ashamed. Get them up there. Don't be ashamed. Keep them up. You're not

  625. ashamed of Christ. Now pray this prayer with me. Those of you. There's three more right now.

  626. Three more of you that need to surrender. That's all I'm asking you. There's surrender to Jesus.

  627. Stop fighting the one that loves you most. Put your hand up. You're surrendering to Jesus right now.

  628. Yes, I heard what the Lord just taught me. I don't hear voices, but I heard what the Lord told me.

  629. I'm going for souls right now. I don't need anybody's approval. I'm going for souls right now.

  630. This decision you're about to make will be the difference whether you go to heaven or hell.

  631. In 1959 a woman driving down the road 63 years old driving her car when a truck got on her bumper

  632. began to blow her horn every head bow. He blew the horn over and over. She looked in the rear

  633. of your mirror and this man was screaming in his truck. So she brought it up to 65 69. He followed

  634. a bumper on her bumper on her bumper up to 80 90. He's still with this tractor trailer on her

  635. bumper blowing and screaming at her. In a frenzy she found an exit and drove off the highway

  636. into a garage and put her head on her stealing wheel out of gas station crying and next to her

  637. pulled the truck out of the truck. Jumped this maniac trucker with a wrench in his hand.

  638. He ran over to her. She looked as he raised the wrench. She fell on the seat but he opened up the

  639. back door and he struck on the head a man with a knife that had been hidden in the back seat.

  640. He had been trying to warn her you have a lunatic in the back seat of your car that's going to kill you.

  641. The one that she thought was going to hurt her was the one that had come to save her and the

  642. maniac in the back seat my friend is you. You're destroying your life without Jesus Christ.

  643. Christ has come to get the maniac out of your life and to change your life. Are you ready?

  644. Are you ready for that? Pray this for Jesus. Come on Jesus. I need you to forgive me for all of my

  645. sins. Wash me in your blood. Save my soul now. I believe, Lord, 2000 years ago you died on

  646. a cross and rose from the grave. You took my judgment. You took what I deserve. Now save my soul.

  647. Come into my heart. Feel me with your spirit. Change my life. I want to belong to you now.

  648. Save me from myself and my sins. Thank you Jesus for coming into my heart. One more thing, Lord,

  649. should I die before you return? Remember me when I stand before you. Say by grace alone,

  650. through faith alone, in Christ alone. Amen and amen. God bless.
