So what is our response as children of God? What is our response as the people of God?
-
Because I mean if you take that thought to its logical end that the robots with AI brains are coming,
-
people right now are predicting 80% of all white-collar jobs just evaporating overnight.
-
What does that mean for the child of God? Definitely start with not being afraid, amen.
-
Knowing that the Lord is sovereign and nothing takes him by surprise.
-

Welcome to everybody joining us online.
-
I bet when you made that decision to stay home, you thought it'd be about two feet of snow by now.
-
And right here, I can actually see the outside and I can't even tell if it's snowing or raining.
-
It's like slushing with no stickage.
-
Before I begin ministering to you, I'd just like to minister to you.
-
Mark chapter 16.
Mark 16 chapter mention
-
Starting in verse 15.
-
I just had a quick conversation.
-
Real quick about the topic of healing right before worship began.
-
And I've said this what I'm about to say here and there in the midst of a sermon,
-
but I want to really just take some time and share with you my experience when it comes to healing
-
and something that I firmly believe.
-
Mark 16.15 after the resurrection, Jesus's final words to His disciples,
-
He said to them, go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
-
That's for us by the way, right? Not just the 12, but that's for us.
-
And we find ourselves in Queens where there's 161 nations in the borough of Queens.
-
So we don't even need a passport, we can go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
-
And when we go to Guatemala, like you heard last Sunday,
-
but that's just because it's so fun to go to.
-
I'm just chuckling because, you know, I've been going for 17 years now.
-
So I asked Pastor Mike, Mike McComb, I said, you know, in that village,
-
we're all the little kids that I got saved.
-
And he said, well, I know a bunch of them are putting up drywall in New York City.
-
Okay. All right. Got that. They could come by and say, thank you.
-
Visit, you know. Amen.
-
But he who believes in his baptized will be saved, but he who does not believe will be condemned.
-
And these signs will follow those who believe.
-
In my name, they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues.
-
Isn't that awesome that Jesus, he prophesied and spoke forth that his followers will be speaking in tongues.
-
And that's just important to note, because sometimes the way tongues is presented
-
or the way tongues is understood by other Christians from other denominations,
-
it's like this weird esoteric thing that certain fringe groups do.
-
And it's not. It's all throughout the book of Acts.
-
Paul, he gave a good lesson on speaking in tongues and he finished it,
-
capped it off by saying, don't forbid people to speak in tongues.
-
And then even Jesus, I mean, he's talking about all miraculous stuff, right?
-
Because tongues means languages, just in case somebody thinks, well,
-
he was talking about, you know, missionaries studying and learning five, six, seven, eight languages.
-
No, that was happening back then.
-
There's nothing supernatural about hitting the books and learning other languages.
-
The supernatural is that when you supernaturally speak in other tongues,
-
they will take up serpents and if they drink anything deadly,
-
it will by no means hurt them.
-
And this is what I just wanted to share with you on healing.
-
It says, they will lay hands on the sick and they will, they will.
-
Recover.
-
Now, recover means grow well.
-
Grow well over time.
-
Now, this is what I've experienced personally, what I've experienced,
-
praying for people and seeing people some receive healing,
-
some don't receive healing.
-
And I just think it's important for us to acknowledge this.
-
I believe that like 85% plus of healings that happen
-
is under this category of grow well, recover over time.
-
As opposed to an instant miracle.
-
Now, why is that important just to talk about?
-
And a lot of preachers, they don't like talking about it,
-
because oftentimes it's just not as spectacular when it happens over time.
-
And I'm not talking about over natural time,
-
like if you got the 72 hour flu and it goes away in 72 hours,
-
it's not supernatural.
-
If you grow well and recover within six hours, now we're cooking, amen.
-
And oftentimes, the healings that are highlighted
-
are with the giant choir behind the preacher singing near my God to thee,
-
the spotlights, the lasers, and you came in, you couldn't walk, boom,
-
now you can walk, and everybody feels then subconsciously,
-
that's the only way healing comes.
-
That it has to be instantaneous, it has to be miraculous,
-
it has to happen right away, or when they don't receive it right away,
-
they feel, oh, I guess I just didn't receive.
-
And then they shut their faith off.
-
Yet every time God has healed me, and years ago,
-
I was in constant pain, for hernated discs, non-stop pain.
-
And the Lord healed me over, over, over a course of,
-
I'd say a couple of months, and it was by me clinging in faith
-
and just speaking healing out of my mouth.
-
And you got to get to this place where you start getting good
-
at using your faith.
-
You say, how do I get to a place where I'm good at using my faith?
-
Practice.
-
Practice makes perfect.
-
You know, in the beginning, you really don't know what you're doing,
-
and you're trying to believe, and it's awkward and it's clumsy.
-
That's all right.
-
You start off awkward, clumsy, just like I started off,
-
learning to ride a bike, and you're trying to believe.
-
We even have a scriptural precedent for that, the one guy who said,
-
believe, help me with my unbelief.
-
It's trying to believe.
-
But you move from trying to believe to where there's a settling
-
in your spirit.
-
And the word of God is yes and amen, and it's real to you,
-
and you've merged with it, and now you know that you know
-
that you are healed, even though nothing may have changed
-
in your body, but you have received that truth,
-
and you are firm in standing on that truth, and then you persist in that.
-
Now, you're believing that you're healed, yet pain comes
-
with a very loud speaker, comes with a megaphone in your ear,
-
and you're going to have blaring pain, or blaring doctors report,
-
and that'll mess with your faith.
-
And you learn how to overcome that.
-
You cling to the word more than you do the doctors report.
-
You cling to the truth of God's word more than you do the incest and pain.
-
And you will see that then supernaturally,
-
yet in the course of time, you grow well.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Now, most of Jesus' healings were instant miracles,
-
because he's awesome like that.
-
But there were also times, like with the ten lepers,
-
where it says, as they went, they were cleansed.
-
Over the course of time, amen.
-
So, I just want to just say this also real quick to the woman
-
that I spoke to before service.
-
Acts 15, I believe it is.
-
15 or 14?
-
14.
-
A woman I never met before, and I feel like the Lord wants you to know this,
-
and in Lister a certain man without strength and his feet was sitting,
-
a cripple from his mother's womb and had never walked.
-
This man heard Paul speaking.
-
Now, Paul, cripple man, Paul observing him,
-
the sick man, and seeing that he had faith to be healed.
-
When you've been around the block a few times,
-
you can see faith on people.
-
And you can see who has faith to be healed.
-
And to that woman, I just want you to know,
-
we only spoke for like 20 seconds,
-
but I walked away.
-
You were radiating faith?
-
Come on.
-
I know that I know that you will be well.
-
Hallelujah.
-
I think it's only her second or third time here,
-
she just quickly shared with me.
-
But I walked away going, this woman is healed of the Lord.
-
And it's with such an unfortunate,
-
I don't do that with everyone.
-
Sometimes someone goes, because she made this sweet positive confession,
-
I'm healed, but there's Christians who go,
-
but you know, I'm sick, but you know, I'm healed.
-
Like, what, what is this again?
-
What do you,
-
get to that place where you believe it?
-
Believe it.
-
Just make it this way.
-
I believe it.
-
And receive it.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And so I walked away going,
-
just like that.
-
I saw that she had faith to be healed.
-
I watched these guys,
-
because I like watches.
-
And, you know, they have a lot of fake Rolexes now.
-
They always had fakes,
-
but now they have the super clones out of China.
-
And they're the exact weight.
-
They even, they reverse engineered the Rolexes.
-
You know, Rolex has refineries.
-
Like, Rolex doesn't like buy gold from the outside.
-
They actually combine their own gold
-
and refine them right on site.
-
Same thing with the platinum and all that.
-
And these, these super clones have come in now
-
and flooded the market and are fooling a lot of people.
-
So I watched these guys on Instagram.
-
And, you know, the guy assumes it's a fake watch,
-
and he takes it to that one guy on 47th Street, of course.
-
And there's like over 20 different security tells
-
within a Rolex that'll show you whether it's real or not.
-
But usually he just takes them and goes,
-
hmm, fake.
-
And then he'll show you all the ways that he,
-
that assure that it is fake.
-
But the moment he took it, he was like,
-
they ask, how did you know?
-
He's like, he just felt off.
-
And so it's like that with the discernment
-
and the discerning of faith,
-
when a woman spoke to me,
-
it just felt on.
-
You've seen it enough times, it just felt on.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Thank you, Jesus.
-
It felt on.
-
Authentical.
-
Legitimate.
-
Amen.
-
Hallelujah.
-
For me, the faith is not a game.
-
It's oftentimes a matter of life or death.
-
And if you're trying to believe that's all right,
-
but don't camp out there forever,
-
make a decision.
-
Either I'm going to believe or I won't believe.
-
But then be solid in that decision.
-
Hallelujah.
-
I had a message prepared,
-
but because it's this terrible, terrible blizzard outside,
-
and a lot of people have stayed back,
-
I'm going to save it till next Sunday,
-
because it's an important message.
-
It was on the sons of Ishikar who had wisdom and understanding
-
and discernment of the times that we're in.
-
And I feel like we just need to recalibrate.
-
Ever so often we need to recalibrate
-
and just talk about the seasons and the times that we're in.
-
Amen.
-
I've found that there is such a flood of information right now,
-
but even though there's such a flood of information right now,
-
there are lots of people,
-
sadly a lot in the church,
-
that really don't know what's happening in the world right now.
-
All they know is what their TikTok algo feeds them.
-
That's it.
-
They've stopped paying attention to the news,
-
they've stopped, and they just kind of are living in a bubble.
-
Have you ever encountered someone like that?
-
Have you ever tried to talk about something current?
-
And they're still in 2015?
-
Like they don't...
-
No, just me.
-
Just me and one person nodding at me.
-
Yeah, you're like, is he talking about me?
-
Yes, if you're wondering if I'm talking about you,
-
I'm talking about you.
-
And so...
-
With just being aware of what's happening.
-
Like for example, you know we're going to war with Iran, right?
-
They didn't say it quite like that, but...
-
Yeah, America's going to do Israel a solid.
-
And do some regime changing in Iran.
-
That's pretty much going to happen.
-
And something that's been coming up over and over again is the robots again.
-
The robots...
-
I said this six, eight months ago,
-
and I feel like...
-
I mean, I felt like you were looking at me like at six heads.
-
But when somebody with 160 IQ
-
and is also the world's richest man is incestantly talking about it
-
and saying it's coming much sooner and much quicker than you all think,
-
I would start paying attention.
-
Just look at how much it's...
-
Remember when AI first came out just a few years ago?
-
They didn't even have the apps,
-
they had this one website where you could upload a picture
-
and then a day or two later,
-
they would send you 10 pictures of like AI, different AI versions of you.
-
And it was terrible.
-
It was like, this is not me.
-
This is like one of them looked like Asian me.
-
You know, another one was like Mexican me.
-
It was all the different...
-
And now it's come such a long way
-
because it keeps improving upon itself.
-
And I am just convinced that in two years
-
we're going to be looking at a completely different world
-
and we'll be interacting with the entire world in a completely different way.
-
I served documentary 15 years ago called The Singularity.
-
Anybody hear of it?
-
You should watch it.
-
It's by Raymond Kurzweil.
-
How many of you know the Kurzweil keyboard?
-
He's got hundreds of inventions.
-
One of them is the Kurzweil keyboard.
-
He's out of flushing queens.
-
And in the 70s and 80s and 90s,
-
he had...
-
I mean, he was like an invention machine.
-
And he's 80 something years old now.
-
And right now he's freelancing
-
at the head artificial intelligence role for Google.
-
But 15 years ago he came up with that documentary The Singularity
-
where he just posited that a singularity is coming.
-
What is the singularity?
-
That's where technology just starts advancing at such a rapid pace
-
that you actually need technology to keep up with the technology
-
and that you need to merge with technology just to keep up
-
with the ever-increasing technology.
-
So you take, say, there's 6000 years of human history,
-
known human history.
-
Is that fair to say?
-
5,900 of those years,
-
man has pretty much lived the same way.
-
No light bulbs, no electricity,
-
no television automobiles, no flying.
-
They pretty much lived the same way.
-
Wake up, turn the butter,
-
beat the clothes against the rock by the brook, no washing machines.
-
But now we've come into this time of enlightenment
-
and technology storing,
-
and if you look at how technology grows,
-
it's kind of like a hockey stick.
-
It's an exponential graph
-
until towards the end it's just a straight vertical line.
-
And 15 years ago he was talking about how that was coming
-
and now they're positing that in a couple of years we'll be there.
-
So what is our response as children of God?
-
What is our response as the people of God?
-
Because I mean if you take that thought to its logical end
-
that the robots with AI brains are coming,
-
well it means that really a lot of our jobs won't be necessary anymore.
-
And people right now are predicting 80% of all white-collar jobs
-
just evaporating overnight.
-
I'm happy Sunday everybody.
-
I just came to encourage you this morning.
-
Just wanted to build you up, you know?
-
Tell you got a bright and glorious future ahead.
-
Hallelujah.
-
What does that mean for the child of God?
-
It means definitely start with not being afraid.
-
Amen.
-
Knowing that the Lord is sovereign and nothing takes him by surprise.
-
Hallelujah.
-
And that whenever there's some kind of disruption it also means opportunity.
-
Some people are predicting, look if the robots with AI brains are coming
-
and they are, how many of you use AI frequently?
-
Let me just see your hands.
-
Have you noticed how much better it's gotten?
-
It just keeps getting better and better and better
-
because it's learning and improving.
-
And so there's a lot of theories about what happened,
-
but something that everyone seems to agree on is that,
-
well, when you've got millions of these things,
-
the cost of things is going to be driven down to zero.
-
And most people won't have to work.
-
I guess we'll just be like, you know, the ancient Greeks just walking around
-
and Toga is just telling stories in the marketplace and philosophizing.
-
But what will people do for money?
-
Some say, well, there won't even be a need for money.
-
I'm like, I don't know.
-
Heaven and Earth remain and money.
-
We'll always stick around somehow on this side of heaven.
-
In heaven, you don't need it. That's why the streets are made of gold.
-
But it could be that they'll try to introduce some form of UBI,
-
universal basic income, which commies are very, very big fans of,
-
I'm not. Amen.
-
Because if you have a universal basic income,
-
there is somebody who then can pull that from you,
-
depending on your behavior, threaten you and hang something over your head.
-
And we want to make sure that our freedoms are strong and maintained
-
and we're trusting the Lord, hallelujah.
-
And so we have to be willing to talk about these things and recognize what's on the horizon
-
specifically so we can pray now.
-
Listen, I found that the Lord responds very, very well when we start praying
-
without fear in advance of something.
-
Like a good while ahead, just start praying throughout the day.
-
What should I pray?
-
Lord, I thank you that you are with me.
-
There's a good beginning.
-
You are with me and you order my steps.
-
I will not be afraid. Why?
-
You know, the number one reason in the Bible not to be afraid is because thou art with me.
-
Thou ride and thy staff, they comfort me.
-
And you're trusting the Lord to keep praying that you will not be harmed.
-
You will be at the right place, at the right time.
-
That whatever disruption comes, it'll actually result in your promotion and your favor.
-
Hallelujah.
-
I want to show you something out of Genesis 5.
-
Because when you really start seeing what's happening, your mind can get carried away.
-
And you realize, I mean, in 2017, the biggest thing that was happening in Silicon Valley,
-
how many know what it was?
-
It was VR. That's all they were talking about.
-
I'll go to Wired Magazine at VR.
-
What happened to VR?
-
A few people played it, threw up, and that was that.
-
But 2017, 2018, it was all about VR.
-
And it was like, well, when is the future going to come here?
-
Then out of the blue, AI came.
-
It came quickly, quickly, and then just started growing exponentially.
-
And so now we find ourselves like looking around and going, what mean if this?
-
Where is this all going?
-
I want to just read to you something that I read and I remind myself just to remind me of the bigness of God.
-
The greatness of God.
-
And how he knows the end from the beginning.
-
And it's found in Genesis chapter 5, arguably the most boring chapter in the book of Genesis.
Genesis 5 chapter mention
-
Because it's just a bunch of genealogies and begats.
-
Yet God hit his awesomeness even in Genesis chapter 5.
Genesis 5 chapter mention
-
It says, this is the book of the genealogy of Adam.
-
That's all, folks.
-
In the day that God created man, he made him in the likeness of God.
-
He created the male and female, blessed them and called the man kind in the day they were created.
-
And Adam lived 130 years and begot a son in his own likeness after his image and named him Seth.
-
After he begot Seth, the days of Adam were 800 years and he had sons and daughters.
-
And then it goes on, going on to verse 9, Seth had a son called Inash.
-
Inash had a son, verse 12, called Canaan.
-
And Canaan had Mahalo.
-
And then Mahalo had Jarad.
-
And then Jarad lived, verse 18, 162 years and begot Inak.
-
And then Inak lived 65 years and begot Methuselah.
-
And it lists these things and then we go on to Genesis 6 and Genesis 6, of course.
-
The Nephilim come and things get really weird, real quick.
-
Six chapters in already, other dimensional beings are coming in and making the giants.
-
I could tell from a reaction that I should never preach on that and what I really believe.
-
Okay.
-
Let's look at those names in Genesis 5.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Adam.
-
Adam means man.
-
And then Adam had Seth, Seth means appointed.
-
And Seth had Inash, Inash means mortal.
-
And Inash begot Canaan and Canaan means sorrow.
-
These are all the names that you'll find in Genesis 5 in order.
-
Mahalo means the blessed of God.
-
Jarad used to work for subway.
-
It means she'll come down.
-
Inak means teaching.
-
Young man by the name of Methuselah means his death shall bring.
-
Les mech means the despairing and Noah means comfort or it means rest.
-
So those are the names in Genesis 5 and what they originally mean in Hebrew.
-
Now can you believe that God is so big and so grand that he hid the gospel message in the names in Genesis 5?
-
Because when you take all those names and put them together in a sentence, here's what it means.
-
Man is appointed to be mortal and to have sorrow.
-
But the blessed God shall come down teaching and his death shall bring the despairing comfort and rest.
-
Hallelujah.
-
He knows the end from the beginning.
-
In fact, his very name, Yahweh.
-
Yahweh is four symbols in the Hebrew.
-
Jude, hey, va, hey.
-
Look this up.
-
When I saw this, I fell in love with it so much I get attacked too.
-
I'm left arm of it.
-
Something so beautiful.
-
Everyone knows Jarwa.
-
Jehovah.
-
Yahweh.
-
Jude, hey, va, hey.
-
And each letter has a corresponding picture.
-
And Jude is a hand.
-
Hey, is a man going like this going, hey, behold, look over here.
-
Vive is a spike or a tent peg.
-
Jude, hey, va, hey again.
-
Again, the man holding his hand going, look over here.
-
Jude, hey, va, hey.
-
When you read it in Hebrew from right to left is look at the hand, look at the nail.
-
Behold the hand.
-
Behold the nail.
-
God hid the gospel message in his very name.
-
Yahweh.
-
Yahweh.
-
Behold the hand.
-
Behold the nail.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Well, Jesus, we're talking about the future over and over again said,
-
fear not.
-
Fear not.
-
Fear not.
-
Two sentiments that he echoed whenever talking about the end times was do not be deceived.
-
The key that no one deceived you.
-
And deception is bad because by its very nature you don't know you're getting deceived.
-
How do you avoid deception?
-
Well, love truth.
-
The Bible says buy the truth and sell it not.
-
You know how loving truth starts?
-
Don't tell yourself the little lies you tell yourself.
-
Ask the Holy Spirit to help you and arrest any of those lies.
-
We like to tell ourselves just to make ourselves feel good temporarily.
-
Don't entertain falsity.
-
There's some inconvenient and uncomfortable truths.
-
Jesus being the only way for a lot of people is one of them.
-
But I got to embrace it because I love truth.
-
Satan is known as the father of lies.
-
Jesus is the God of truth.
-
So we love truth.
-
We cling to his word.
-
We trust the Holy Spirit to lead us in righteousness and truth.
-
And then do not be afraid.
-
I want to just make a confession with you concerning the days ahead.
-
If I didn't talk about this stuff what kind of a pastor would I be?
-
If all of a sudden it sneaks up on us because when it comes it'll come quickly.
-
Already I just saw videos of Chinese robots from 2025 where they're all clunky and weird.
-
And now in 2026 where they are so nimble and so agile.
-
Two years ago I was looking at these things and the robot still couldn't tell what was water or what was mud or what was cement.
-
So I didn't know I mean you could trick it.
-
Now it scans and absolutely can tell the difference between different terrains.
-
Watching another video and this was the optimist robot from Tesla.
-
I was frying up some eggs, somebody chucked the tennis ball onto the side and with the other free hand the robot catches the tennis ball mid air.
-
Just to showcase its nimbleness and agility.
-
And it'll be pretty cool maybe when they can be in your house, make your bed for you, wash your dishes, tuck you in at night, give you a little kiss.
-
And walk around your house as a century as it charges itself back up.
-
We're trusting that we're going to be positioned right no matter what change takes place. Amen.
-
Let's sing this song to the Lord and I pray the Holy Spirit speak to you times of getting together like this.
-
What's so special about it, why it's so important is the presence of the Lord comes.
-
And the presence of the Lord seems to like coming when we're together to get gathered corporately, gathered bodily.
-
There is a wine in the cluster of grapes.
-
My prayer for you is that the Lord would speak to you right now, position you for the future.
-
Hallelujah.
-
You know I thank God for the gift that we have in Pastor Boyle.
-
Because they're not, all right, praise God.
-
Because here's the kicker, we don't have a lot of leaders that are willing to stand in the gap and be.
-
Sometimes ostracized for saying and doing the right thing and prepping and looking in the direction of the future where we're going.
-
But I thank God that we have a gift. Amen.
-
But I also thank God that we have a God.
-
Our God is so powerful, so glorious.
-
Now what I love to tell, actually tell my children this regarding God about his gloriousness.
-
His foresight and his ability to see everything and know all things is what gives us security.
-
So I tell my daughter sometimes because she's at the age where she thinks she knows sometimes a little bit more than I do.
-
And I remind her all the time, I said, I'm taller than you.
-
And I can see further than you and I've been here longer than you before you existed I was.
-
And I got to remind her every now and again just to put things into perspective.
-
And one of the ways that has always blessed me in teaching her and one of the ways that I'm still awed by God is when I look at the scriptures and I see the way that he develops things.
-
So go to Psalm 19.
-
Psalm 19 says, the heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows his handiwork.
-
Day unto day utter speech and night unto night reveals knowledge.
-
There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.
-
Their line has gone out through all the earth and the words to the end of the world.
-
In them he has set a tabernacle for the sun.
-
And if you read the rest of the song, it really goes out how he uses even the creation and nature itself to declare of his wonders and his might.
-
And I love that because even when it comes to terms of what we're talking about today, how we're to prepare for the future even in that God says, you know what?
-
I'll show you how you can go forward and not just get by.
-
Because here's the thing, as believers, I don't know if you know this, but God has not called you to be a second class citizen in this world and in life.
-
For too long, Christianity has meant it's looked like this weird thing where we're cowering as the second class when really the Lord has called us to be a bright shining beacon.
-
There I say a city light, a light on a hill so that we would be a prized possession that other people would see and be made jealous of and be brought closer to God.
-
And one of the ways that he does that, and this is what the Lord has encouraged me as of late, he tells me just like this song, I want you to follow what I'm doing in nature and I want you to do it too.
-
I said, come again, Jesus. He said, I want you to be a tree.
-
Because if you really look at all of creation, all of creation, despite or instead of mankind, is doing what God told it to do.
-
You have the birds, they give the most awesome and amazing worship.
-
You read the scriptures, you read Proverbs, and it speaks about how the lilies of the fields, they're cold, so magnificently.
-
We see all of creation doing what they're supposed to do.
-
But then we see mankind who's in this weird form of rebellion.
-
Because God tells the oceans, go here, and don't take a step past that until I say.
-
Tell us the birds, worship, and then he tells the trees, be trees.
-
And you don't even realize it, but they worship and they honor him.
-
Let's look at Psalms 92. You're going to look at two verses.
-
Because this is how we survive the future despite what the future may be.
-
This is the righteous shall flourish like a palm tree. He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
-
Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of their God.
-
So I feel like the Lord has given not just me this message, but all of us this message, we need to start being like trees.
-
We need to start showing forth the glory of God.
-
We need to start, and this is the thing, being rooted and planted.
-
See, how are you going to survive going forward in this rapid age of technology and growth that sometimes outpacing?
-
Again, what if you're in one of the jobs that wanted to robots come to take?
-
I mean, I thank God that.
-
Listen.
-
Ain't no robot carrying the anointing like this y'all. Hallelujah for God's mercy and grace.
-
But if you're not a pastor, what can you do?
-
You can be like a tree. You can learn to be rooted and grounded.
-
And here's the thing, don't be a consumer Christian.
-
Don't just be hopped into and fro based on likes and not actually being a disciple.
-
This is a season where you have to cling and hold close to the Lord.
-
Because in order to hear those sweet little nothings where he gives you guidance and direction and shows you how to move about life,
-
it requires real intimacy and relationship.
-
So if you want to be one of those that shows forth the glory of God in power, you want to be tree-like.
-
Then I'm going to need you to get real sensitive and real close to the Lord in this season.
-
This is not a time to be playing church. It's the time to be his church.
-
I want you to grab hold of that.
-
I want you to grab hold of the privilege and the opportunity we have.
-
Because what language is that? I think maybe Chinese where the word opportunity and calamity are the same.
-
Chaos. So when chaos is presented, there's also an opportunity presented because there's solution to the cat.
-
We're going to be the solution-oriented people that the Lord uses in this season. Amen.
-
We're going to show the glory of God in a powerful way and I'm looking forward to that.
-
Let that fill you with hope. Let that drive you and remind you that he's with you. Amen.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Thank you for that, Pastor Ma.
-
I really wanted to magnify the Lord with you this morning.
-
You know that phrase magnify the Lord, the Psalmist, David, other Psalmists in the Psalms.
-
Use it often. Why is it important to magnify the Lord?
-
Because Satan is always magnifying your problems.
-
He's always magnifying your circumstances.
-
And I tell you one thing, I got to keep a thermometer in my Christianity at all times.
-
I got to make sure I'm on fire and then I've learned to heed the warning signs when I'm not.
-
And one thing I've seen over and over again, if I even start approaching the danger area of my heart getting cold or even cooling off a smidge,
-
is that the enemy tries to get me to lose the awe of the Lord.
-
And what we're talking about this morning is being alert, being vigilant,
-
not having a spirit of stupid.
-
What is a spirit of stupid? The Bible warns about it over and over and over again.
-
Paul was writing Christians, not lost people, Christians and Ephesians where he says,
-
Awake, you who sleep.
-
Because you can be walking, you can be physically awake and asleep.
-
One of the first things that comes before the spirit of stupid, that spirit of sleepiness where you're just like a dead fish floating downstream,
-
is you lose your awe of the Lord. You lose your reverence.
-
And this present world, which is really just a flash in the pan, is so real to you and your problems are so real to you.
-
And you forget about the grandness and the majesty of God.
-
That's why I read Genesis 5 to you, just to remind you that even before you were born,
-
before anything you ever knew, God was.
-
And he hid the gospel in his name. He hid the gospel in the genealogy.
-
He knows the end from the beginning and you will be okay.
-
And Revelation 4, it's a beautiful chapter that really puts things in perspective.
-
Because sometimes we get nervous and we forget that heaven is not nervous.
-
And God's not stressed and He's not wondering what will happen.
-
Say, what's heaven like? Take a look at Revelation 4.
-
Religious people will tell you the way they describe heaven.
-
I'm like, I don't want to go there, the way you just described it.
-
And if you're going to be there, I really don't want to go there.
-
Is there another wing of heaven, please?
-
Revelation 4, after these things, I looked and behold, a door standing open in heaven.
-
What kind of door? We just read through that, a door.
-
Oh, was it a creaky door? Did it get WD-40?
-
Was it an oak door, a mahogany door, a metal door?
-
One deadbolt, two deadbolts. Maybe God likes extra security.
-
What kind of door? It was a portal.
-
John is crossing over into that other realm, into heaven.
-
What Paul called the third heaven, the very abode of God, the Hebrews believed in three heavens.
-
You know, when Jesus says like, Jesus looked up into the heavens,
-
or the Lord will open up his heavens and cause rain, that's the first heaven.
-
That's just a cloud. That's the atmosphere.
-
There's the second heaven which is the spirit realm.
-
The third heaven is the abode of God, where you will be with him for all of eternity.
-
It's where God dwells.
-
This portal opened up for John. He's part on the island of Patmos,
-
part he's looking through the portal, a door standing open in heaven.
-
At the first voice, and the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me,
-
saying, come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.
-
By the way, that voice is always saying that, come up here.
-
Come and see things from my vantage point.
-
Come and see with 2020 vision from heaven.
-
Immediately, and all you got to do is hear his voice.
-
The moment you hear his voice, boom, immediately I was in the spirit.
-
And behold, the throne said in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
-
And he who sat there was like a jasper and a sardier stone in appearance.
-
And there was a rainbow around the throne.
-
And appearance, like an emerald, around the throne.
-
Were 24 thrones, and on the thrones I saw 24 elders sitting clothed in white robes,
-
and they had crowns of gold on their heads.
-
And from the throne, preceded lightening, thundering, and voices.
-
Seven lamps of fire were burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God,
-
the Holy Ghost. Before the throne, there was a sea of glass like crystal,
-
a calm sea, not even a ripple, no calamity, no drama, not even a little ripple.
-
And in the midst of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes in front and in back.
-
The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a calf,
-
the third living creature had a face of a man, and the fourth living creature was American.
-
No, like a flying eagle.
-
The four living creatures each having six wings were full of eyes.
-
What is he seeing?
-
We don't know.
-
Oh, I know.
-
Is that this is why angels always have to say fear not when they show up.
-
You look at every single angel.
-
What are every angels' first words?
-
Don't be afraid.
-
Why do they say that?
-
Because when you really see an angel,
-
it's not like a six foot guy in a white robe and pantyhose or plastic wings sticking out his back.
-
They're fierce.
-
They're different.
-
And they do not rest day or night saying, holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty,
-
who was and is and is to come.
-
And whenever the living creatures, notice the tense of how he writes it.
-
This is whenever they pass tense.
-
It's whenever it's present tense because whenever you read this, this is happening.
-
This is what's happening right now.
-
There is a party in heaven.
-
He's not worried.
-
He's not stressed.
-
Oh, no, the robots are coming.
-
Oh, no, they're going to do regime change in Iran.
-
Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne,
-
who lives forever and ever, the 24 elders fall down before him,
-
who sits on the throne and worship him, who lives forever and ever,
-
and cast their crowns before the throne, saying, you are worthy, O Lord,
-
to receive glory and honor and power for you created all things
-
and by your will they exist and were created.
-
Not only by your will where they created, but you know in another place the Bible says
-
that he holds all things together by the power of his word,
-
everything is still alive and well and existing because he wills it.
-
He's great, but he's not so great that he doesn't have every hair on your head numbered.
-
He calls you out by name.
-
He knows you and you must receive for yourself that love.
-
People have a hard time.
-
I've actually stopped something not here, but when I've done meetings outside,
-
there's people who worked themselves up into a frenzy.
-
Go, God, I love you.
-
I love you.
-
And the Lord will just show me.
-
They have a very hard time receiving God's love.
-
But they go, God, I love you.
-
I love you and I'll say, if you just stop right now, just say, God, you love me.
-
And their mouth, they can't even say it.
-
Can you believe there's Christians?
-
There's no problem for them to tell God that they love him a thousand times in a row,
-
but to reverse it and actually appropriate the love of God for themselves,
-
their mind goes until their mouth ceases up.
-
And then they'll just start to cry and they'll realize they never ever actually receive God's love for themselves.
-
There are people who will go to church and they'll love others
-
and they believe God's love is a real thing, but it's for everyone else but not for them.
-
Don't be that person.
-
Be like John.
-
John, who in the gospels kept referring to himself as the disciple whom Jesus loved.
-
The other disciples may have said, oh, you're arrogant.
-
Look at you.
-
It's forever in the Scriptures now, John.
-
You wrote.
-
But you're the disciple whom Jesus loved.
-
And you can just say, look, I didn't say he loved me more.
-
I just said he loved me.
-
I was appropriating the love of God for myself.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Be that way appropriate for yourself.
-
That he knows you, he loves you.
-
And the days ahead are bright.
-
I just leave us in a prayer.
-
Just lift up your hands and say this, Lord Jesus, I believe you saved me for a reason.
-
And I believe you had me born in this age for a reason.
-
I trust you for my life and for my family's life.
-
I believe I will come out on top.
-
I'm the head and not the tail.
-
My future is bright.
-
You're with me always, even to the end of the age.
-
In Jesus name, amen.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Thank you, Jesus.
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
Thank you, Lord.
-
Hallelujah.
-
I believe there's going to be such a wealth transference.
-
I mean, I can practically just like it's percolating within myself.
-
Such a wealth transference.
-
You never heard about that.
-
It's in the scriptures.
-
Do a little study on it.
-
There's wicked people who've been stockpiling and storing all for you.
-
And then God comes and brings a whole lot of shaking and shakes it right out of the hands of the sinner into the hands of the just.
-
You actually have a picture of it in the Exodus when God set the Hebrews free from Egypt.
-
And Egypt gave them all their gold, all their silver, all the precious stones, and then caused them to come out.
-
Egypt then realized what happened.
-
Let's get our money back.
-
And then they found themselves under a hundred feet of red sea.
-
Hallelujah.
-
My prayer is that the wicked would come to Christ.
-
But if they don't, that stuff's got to go somewhere.
-
And I know a whole lot of loving people with kingdom expansion on their mind.
-
That will do a lot better with it and a lot more with it.
-
Yeah.
-
I can't believe you said that.
-
Well, I said it.
-
You know, there are some satan worshiping pedophiles with a whole lot of dough, private jets to private islands.
-
And God's going to shake it loose.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Well, let's worship and honor the Lord with our tides and offerings this morning.
-
The giving information is on the screens to my left and right.
-
Give with a glad heart, give and faith.
-
Give knowing that whatever leaves your hand today, it comes back as a harvest.
-
I believe that my family, we make a living by our giving.
-
The paycheck is just for fun.
-
But the real living is by our giving.
-
And then know that life groups are beginning.
-
And it's not too late to join one.
-
So all that information is online.
-
Also, if you have any questions, you can go by the hospitality table.
-
But be a part of a life group.
-
This is something Pastor most said, so important in this hour.
-
You can't just be a casual consumer Christian.
-
You know what a consumer Christian is?
-
It's somebody who like switches products all the time.
-
Isn't faithful.
-
You're on one phone plan.
-
You see another phone plan that's offering you more minutes of that year.
-
You switch phone plans.
-
That's some Christian street church and community.
-
You know, as a defense mechanism, the way I have overcome that is by being really offensive every Sunday.
-
And then I know I've chased everyone who's going to be chased away away already.
-
I joke, but there's some truth to that though.
-
See, who's here on a snowy Sunday morning?
-
The ineffensible ones.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Be a part of life groups.
-
You gotta be in community.
-
Can't be a lone ranger Christian.
-
Thank you, Jesus.
-
Well, ministry team, won't you go to that blue lit area?
-
If you need prayer, you want prayer by the laying out of hands.
-
Go on over to that area.
-
And our ministry team would love to lay hands on you and pray with you.
-
Go home, make some nice hot cocoa.
-
Get that taco shaped.
-
What's that thing called?
-
In the shape of a taco?
-
No?
-
Okay.
-
Huggies.
-
Yeah.
-
Get yourself that, Huggie.
-
Have a wonderful, wonderful snowy Sunday.
-
We'll see you next Sunday talking about the sons of Ishaqar.
-
Be blessed, city light.
-
Go rejoicing.
