From Survival to Supply

You're stuck, another building, credit or call it, and then that can just

corrode you and weaken your faith and everywhere you look you're seeing

limitations. The word of God needs to come in. Blow the limits right off,

hallelujah. He's not a small God, he's a great God. I heard it right now in the

spirit that thought, how could he do it in my, I don't know how he can do it in

your life, but he will do it if you will link with him and believe that he will do

Well, it's been 14 months since I've talked about money. I think it's time. And judging

by the climate in the first service, I know it's time. Now, when I say I'm going

to talk about money, you might ask yourself, why? Why would you? And the answer is,

because that's what's on your mind. It's what you think about. It's what you spend

90% of your life trying to get. Isn't it amazing that you can spend 90% of your

time, your energy, trying to get this resource, money, and then somehow the devil made a taboo

that you can't talk about it in church, even though Jesus himself talked about money,

giving, lands, gold, talents. He talked about all of that more than heaven and hell combined.

Why? Because it's practical. It matters. God wants you to be at peace. God wants you

to have whole, to be whole, to have wholeness. He wants you to be a cup that overflows.

Yet somehow the topic of money has been made taboo. Don't fall for it. God wants you to

be blessed. God wants you to be prosperous. And in order to actually receive what he wants,

you have to have the word of God on the subject. I mean, not just like a head knowledge where

you go, oh, I know. Yeah, God wants me. God wants to be blessed. No, it's got to be alive.

Like churning inside of you. You've got to know these verses that speak to who you are

in Christ and what you have as a result of Christ. They've got to be alive in you. It's

got to be fresh, fresh mana from heaven inside your spirit. Amen. Now, just look at Ecclesiastes

10, 19. If you didn't know this was the Bible, you'd think a rapper wrote it. Because it says

money answers everything. Ecclesiastes, chapter 10, and verse 19.

Are there scribes? Are there scribing it? Is it being translated out of the original tongues?

I mean, I don't know what that is. That's

it. Chapter 10, verse 19. Praise God. How's it going, man? That's a nice jacket. That's

really nice. JJ Walker and good times had one just like that. That same cognac color. I love it.

Ah, there we go. A feast is made for laughter and wine makes merry. But money answers everything.

That's in the Bible. Biggie Smalls and I write that. Sounds like it could have. Sounds like

J. Z. Circa 96 to 03. Could have wrote that. But it didn't. That's actually in the Bible. Because

you're not supposed to shy away from the reality of what money is and how powerful it is. And whether

you want to talk about it or not, think about it or not, the reality is that 90% of your time is

spent trying to get some, working 40, 50, 60, some, 70 hours a week, two jobs, who bring on the

side trying to get some and then coming to church. And my job is to give you God's word on it.

That is the truth on it. And some people wig out. And I've noticed the people who get upset are

always the ones that need the message the most. It's incredible. I've never seen people of means

and wealthy people get upset saying, wow, you talked about money in church. It's always somebody

who really needs the message. You know what I'm trying to say here. They're broke. Nothing in

their pockets except lent. They need to hear what God has to say about finances, stewardship.

They need it. And they're the ones who fight you the most. Somehow, maybe you swallow the lie

that it's that money is unholy. And money really is neutral. It's just an extension of the heart.

It flows out from an extension of the hand that's connected to the body that contains the heart.

Amen. So everybody, I mean, even unbelievers, they know this next verse. I'm going to announce it

now. So we got plenty of time here. First Timothy 6, 10. Let me read to you just some things here.

You ready? Why it's important to have God's word on finances. Total household debt as of Q1,

2024. You ready? 17.987 trillion. That's the national debt. Not the national that, excuse me,

total household debt. This overwhelming debt can lead to a pervasive sense of hopelessness and

anxiety. This is why it's important to have God's word on the subject because when you're lacking

in finances, there is an anxiety that comes. Some people can struggle with depression. Do you know

what Jeremiah said in the book of Jeremiah? My peace has left me. I forgot prosperity. When you

forget or don't understand biblical prosperity, God's abundance, your peace can leave you. Anxiety

can come in. This is important and God actually cares about your level of peace. And you can't

relegate him to just the spiritual. He's here to help you in the spiritual, in the natural.

Average debt per person. 104,000. We are more indebted than any other nation on planet earth.

And most people carry overwhelming crushing credit card debt. It doesn't have to be you.

It's not God's will. Student loans that you're paying off. You have grandchildren and you're still

paying off student loans. That's the part of the debt cycle and the debt trap. God wants to bring

you relief. Credit card debt is total 1.16 trillion. High credit card balances often lead to

constant reminders of financial strain through interest rates and minimum payments. This can

result in emotional turmoil, including guilt, overspending fear of credit or calls and the stress

of managing monthly finances. God has a better way, amen. It goes, I have more but I'm not even

going to depress you with it. The bottom line is, I mean, it's not good. The bottom line is that

God has an answer. But for some weird reason, the bulk of Christians have stayed away from what

God has to say about it. Serving? Yeah, what does God have to say? We want you to have a servant's

heart. Okay. Heaven, hell, what does God have to say? The love walk, what does God have to say?

What about this other part of your life that occupies genuinely so much of your energy,

so much of your time, so much of your focus? Oh, I don't need to know what God has to say about it.

And then people's favorite verse concerning money seems to be that one right there. Everybody

knows it. Everybody's got it memorized. At least they paraphrase it. Unbelievers know it. You want

to talk about money and somebody's going to say, well, don't you know, money is the root of all

evil. And it's not that money is the root of all evil. The love of money. You know how you know

whether you love money or not? If you have a disciplined principle of generosity and you're

giving, you don't love money. I know people who love money. You see their money, George Washington,

as tears coming out of his eyes, just squeezing him so tightly. Not to mention Ben Franklin.

Ben Franklin's skull is all crushed in. Crying. They're white knuckling their money. They

would never give away a red scent. Giving shows that you don't love money because you understand

that money is a wonderful, wonderful servant but a terrible master. Hallelujah. So this is most

people who will fight against biblical prosperity of their favorite verse for the love of money

is the root of all kinds of evil. I say a big amen to that. Don't love money. Love God. Make him

number one in your life and then allow him to bring that stuff when you see key first the kingdom

of heaven and all his righteousness and all those other what? Things, things, all those other things

will be added unto you when you've put him and made him first. Hallelujah.

For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil for which some have strayed from the faith

and their greediness. How do you know if you're greedy or not? Well, if you're giving,

probably you're not struggling with greediness. If you're a disciplined either,

you're generous. You actually take people out. You don't mind buying someone lunch.

You give good gifts. You help someone who's poor. You're not suffering with greed. I know greedy

people. They don't give anything. Nothing. In fact, if they have to do it, anyway, I won't get into it.

But it's just because I'm hang out with you and I'm so surrounded by Christians now that I'm

meeting on belief. Most Christians are very, very loving, very, very generous. Then you meet

unbelievers and I'm talking about guys who have eight figures. One guy led out 20 mil plus.

I mean, you talk about a spirit of miserliness because anything less than what he has,

he almost, it's like he sees as a chunk of his own soul falling off. He takes such pride and

he identifies with his money so much that to actually give even a small percentage away,

it's almost like he's ripping off a part of his soul and giving it away.

So you can be rich like that. The Bible says, Pastor Moe help me out. What's that scripture about

the Lord making you rich, but he adds no sorrow to it.

The Lord makes, but he adds no sorrow. So there's people in the world, they're rich, but they're sorrow

to it. Like this fellow I'm referencing, you can be very wealthy and have a fat wallet, but very,

very scrawny, skinny heart. You're all emaciated and 80-bitty on the inside, like the Grinch.

I take the magnifying glass, see that heart. Two sizes, two small.

All right, so, and by the way, there is this, there is this weirdness when it comes to money. I

still after all these years can't figure it out. Why Christians will fight you on, on a message,

it's a positive message. It's that God is good. God's not cheap. When God gives, He gives an

abundance and you get to be a part of that and people respond like, ah, how can He say that?

What do you want me to say? God is broke. God is cheap. And God, I got good use for it. He

wants it to be poor. No, no, no, not America poor. I'm talking third world poor. I'm talking,

you need a potato sack. I'm talking kick your shoes off. I mean, good use. You want poverty?

Oh, God's God truckloads for you. I've been over 50 nations. A lot of them

written in poverty when I get off the plane and I come into a third world nation. I never think,

wow, this place is close to God's heart. You know, this place, you can just feel holiness

because money is bad. Capitalism is bad. Prosperity is bad. And some of you, you come from poor.

We just came back, team of 20 of us, from Guatemala, up in the mountains, far away. Not Guatemala city,

up in the mountains. All right, we have to use a bathroom. It was an SD 10 year old shower curtain.

You peel back the shower curtain. It's a bucket in the corner. When I was showing that bucket,

I didn't think, oh, divine. Holy. Now, this is what Godliness looks like. Me and that bucket.

No, whenever you look in the scriptures, poverty is a sign of the absence of God,

a sign of the absence of the anointing, a sign of the curse. Prosperity is always a sign of God

is in the house. When God was moving in Israel, it says that gold was everywhere. And silver

was so plentiful, it wasn't even counted. It was everywhere in the streets. You look at the

ministry of Jesus, always over the top and abundant. Some of you, maybe you got messed up.

Maybe you went to really religious school. Maybe you really liked 16th century art and you saw

Jesus dressed in rags and you're like, yeah, that's what he was like. He wasn't like that.

Look at the way Jesus gave. He did something in the Bible known as provisional miracles. Who

can guess what that is? A miracle of provision where someone needs something and then he provides,

all right, there's other physical miracles, physical healings. He started off his ministry with

a provisional miracle. He was at a wedding. They needed wine. He provided wine. Do you know, does

anybody? Because I've mentioned it before. When I last preached on this 14 months ago, it seems

like yesterday to me. It was 14 months. How? Who remembers? How much wine? Because these details

are in the Bible later, not in the Bible for no reason. Who remembers? Who wasn't in the first

service? Who remembers? How much wine Jesus made in the wedding feast in Canaan of Galilee? How much

wine? It was six water pots, each water pot containing 20 to 30 gallons.

So on the low end, the 120 gallons, on the high end, the 150 gallons of wine. I've been to a lot of

weddings. I've never seen a wedding that needed 120 gallons of wine. Not a little village wedding.

Whenever he does something, he does it in an over-the-top generous way. Find every provisional

miracle in the Bible and you will see the same pattern. When he fed the 5,000, which really,

they just counted the men, sexists. They didn't count the woman and children. You count the woman

and children. It would have been 15,000, 20,000. It says, they all ate and were filled. And then they

took up 12 baskets of what? Leftovers. Now here, I'm going to blow your mind right now. You know

why you have leftovers? Because the giver gave too much. Amen. Boy, babe. The giver gave too much.

He always gives too much. When it was time to bless Peter, because Peter needed some fish,

he didn't give them three fish. He didn't give them 30 fish. It says so much fish that the net began

to break and the boat began to sink. When God blessed Abraham, when he made that covenant with him,

one of the first things is, Abraham's goats and sheep and all his livestock started multiplying

so much at the very grass couldn't sustain them all. The sheep and goats and livestock were

multiplying quicker than the grass. That's actually in the Bible. So what kind of a God is God? He's

a too many sheep and goat giving, net breaking boat sinking over the top, 12 baskets left over too

much wine kind of God. Amen. And you need to get that in your spirit. You know why? Because all the

time there's other things flashing at you, getting in your head, getting in your eyes, getting in

your subconscious, lack, lack. You can't door close, door close, brick wall. You're stuck,

another bill, another bill, credit or call. And then that can just corrode you and weaken your faith

and everywhere you look, you're seeing limitations. The word of God needs to come in. Blow the limits

right off. Hallelujah. He's not a small God. He's a great God. And I even hear that thought. I heard

it right now in the spirit. That thought, oh, you don't know, how could he do it in my, I don't

know how he can do it in your life. But he will do it if you will link with him and believe that

he will do it. He's not out of tricks. He's not out of surprises. We believe this, didn't we,

babe? We made a decision. We were going to be givers. We were going to believe God is a good

God. We didn't know how he was going to do it. But then he did it and he's still doing it. And

he's done it amongst many of you and he'll do it with more you. But we need you to hook in,

link up, at least begin by affirming the scriptures. I'm the offering envelopes. There's a verse.

I put that there nearly 20 years ago that God takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.

Some people would read that. They think God takes pleasure in the poverty of His servant.

No, he takes no pleasure in anyone's poverty. But he takes pleasure in your prosperity.

Hallelujah. So first, Timothy 6, 10 is a lot of people's favorite verse. But then seven verses later.

Right, remember this? And people say it out of context. They don't even say the love of money.

They just say money. But look at just seven verses later. That's like 30 seconds in Paul time.

He's writing. He's writing the same thought. And he says to who's he writing to Timothy?

Pastor Timothy. He's giving Pastor Timothy advice, encouraging him,

advice on how to pastor his local church. And he says, command those who are rich in this

present age, not to be hardy. Where were those rich people in the flea market?

Out in the world? No, in Timothy's church. In other words, there were rich people in Timothy's

church. There's always been rich people in church. What should I tell them? Your riches are evil?

You know, some people, for example, Jesus told the rich young ruler, go and sell everything you have.

And people want to base their whole life on that. That means they should never ever be a wealthy Christian,

never, ever rich Christian. The moment you get a little, just sell it all and give it all to the poor.

There's people who actually believe that. Then you never, ever have generational wealth. Your kids

can never have a further start than how you started. It's absolute nonsense. That was specifically

to the rich young ruler because he came full of pride and he came boasting that he keeps the

entirety of the law, even though nobody can keep the entirety of the law. He was bragging and he was

boasting and Jesus expertly knew. Look, took one look at him and saw his heart. Put his finger on

what he knew was his real God money. So he challenged them, said, go and give away everything you have

and the rich young ruler and whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on. Because he came basically saying, Jesus, I'm

sold out. I love the Lord, my God, with all my heart, all my string, he's bragging about. You ever

meet a Christian who brags about how awesome, how much they love God, how greatly they follow him?

You ever hear that Christian? Just love him, but love him like, all right. Because they're about

to get a reckoning with reality. The Bible says, take heed when you think you stand, lest you fall.

And pride comes before a fold. Don't ever boast on how great your law keeping is. There's always an A

that you forgot to put the little cross through and an eye that's left undotted. Hallelujah.

Amen. Those who are rich in this present age not to be hardy or proud, nor to trust in uncertain

riches, but in the living God who gives us all things richly to enjoy. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

What's God's will? God's will is for his people here at City Light Church. I can't be responsible

for all Christians, but I'm responsible for the Christians at City Light Church.

To allow the word of God, concerning cross spirit and concerning abundance, to really take

root in your hearts. This is a secret. This is a key. When you let it take root in your heart,

it'll actually begin to shape the world around you because the word of God works. You consider

you can just mentally acquiesce. You can just nod your head and go, yeah, no, I believe that. Look,

after all, he's got some scriptures up there. Okay, it's in the Bible. All right, that's just

mental ascent. That's cheap. But faith comes out of your spirit. And in order for faith to really

be produced, it only comes from one place, the word of God. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by

the word of God. So that word of God concerning abundance and prosperity has to go in your spirit.

That's why I'm preaching this. I'm trying to fill you with the word of God which will produce faith.

There's just one problem. I'm not with you tomorrow or Tuesday or Wednesday. I cannot be your

personal life coach slash pastor that's, you know, maybe I know some churches are going to AI

route. Maybe there'll be a hologram AI version of me on Monday. Good morning, Jeff. I just want to

remind you that God takes pleasure in your prosperity. That's probably the mark of the beast right there.

You have to do it yourself. You got to feed yourself specifically with God's abundance to break the

back of that that miserly poverty lack small minded spirit. Oh, hallelujah. Let's look at

Philemon. I'm just going to show you some scriptures here that that will just rework our thinking.

I don't know who that was but if you do you all and make sure to do it extra loud.

Especially when I'm not preaching. Just in case anybody else is a little sleepy that'll let them

know they're not alone. Then we'll get five or six people. Hallelujah. Lord, thank you for

abundance and prosperity of sleep. You give your beloved gifts and sleep. If then here's Paul

writing to Philemon. Hallelujah. If you then count me as a partner, receive him as you would me.

Look, go on to the next verse, but let me say this. I just want to help you see these biblical

characters as they really are. A lot of Christians believe Paul was broke all the time. Why? Because in

one place he wrote that he was shipwrecked, that he was in a forced, fasted state and fastings

off and not like when we have a 21 days of prayer and fasting, like he didn't have food to eat.

And they take this little photograph, this Polaroid picture and they turn it into a whole movie.

Don't take a photograph and make it into a movie, right? Like, what if what if

what if ladies, what if my wife and I surprised you at five of them took a picture of you at five of

them and then just let the host, this is who they are all the time. You'd be like, ah, that was wrong.

You can't take a picture of Paul when he's being hit and go, this was Paul all the time. He even

said, I've learned how to be a base. I've learned how to abound that I've learned how to have more

than enough. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Here he's writing about an

pessimist, this former slave, next verse, please. And he says, I, Paul, I'm writing with my own

and I will repay. He basically tells this innkeeper, take care of this guy and whatever debts he

incurs, use my black AMX card. I don't even want to know how much is I got it. That's not how

a broke apostle talks. Amen. Now to mention, I love how he throws this in, not to mention that you

owe me your own self besides. I'll pay everything, but just remember you owe me one buddy.

Luke 8133. There's also this notion that Jesus was poor.

Other than religious teaching or some weird movie from the 70s that you saw or some painting

you saw, what makes you think that Jesus was poor? What? What in the word in the Bible? Forget

extrabiblical stuff. That abounds. What in the Bible makes you think that Jesus was poor? I've

seen people who are so, they need this message. They're struggling. They're poor. And then they

want to identify with Jesus. Well, you know, Jesus, like the enemy is so tricky, he wants to get you

in this terrible low state of poverty and then sanctify it in your mind so that you identify with

Jesus or identify with Paul. Paul was fine. Paul never lacked anything. He had all sufficiency

and all things. Jesus never lacked a thing. In fact, as soon as he was born, you know what happened?

Magi came. And what did they give him? A $5 gift card? No, they gave him gold. How much gold?

We don't know, but we know it was enough for Joseph to take him and Mary and flee to Egypt for many

years and live off that gold. So Jesus's life was started. People bring him gold.

Then whenever he does a miracle, he does it in abundance more than enough. Judas was stealing. We know

that. This is in the Bible. Judas was stealing and nobody knew. Why is that? Because when you have

so much and someone stealing, people won't notice. You know, when it's Christmas time, Emily makes

a lot of cookies. But we only put out five on the counter. Because if there's three there,

the next morning, we'd go, the kids stole cookies in the middle of the night. We had five. Now

there's three. They stole two. But if you put out all 50 cookies and they stole two, we couldn't

tell. So Judas is stealing. Nobody can tell because the ministry money bag is so full and abundant

and prosperous. Hallelujah. At his death, a woman was compelled to take a year's worth of wages.

That's how much that alabaster box in the fragrant oil was worth. Break it open and pour it over

Jesus's feet. A year's worth of wages. Why was she compelled to do that? It was prophetic.

She was moved by the spirit and also because Jesus was a money prosperity magnet. Everywhere he went,

he drew prosperity to himself. In fact, today we're celebrating Palm Sunday and he came in on a

cult. Look up, who actually got to ride a cult? Only the aristocracy, royalty, the upper,

upper crust, the 1%. The rest had to walk places. You think a cult is just some cheap beast of

burden? No, this was all precious. That's how we came into Jerusalem as a king. And by the way,

it was a cult on which never man sat, not previously owned. When he needed an upper room

to have the Passover, he just said the master has need of it and he got the best room in Jerusalem

for his Passover meal. Even in his death, did they take him and bury him in the potter's field?

What kind of tomb was Jesus buried in? A rich man's tomb. Joseph of Arimathea, as you're

taking his body down from the cross, is compelled and says he's going to be buried in a rich man's tomb

from his birth all throughout his life. Why did the Roman soldiers gamble over Jesus' clothes?

You see the art and they have Jesus and basically glorified potato sack. You really think he

looked like that? Why? Because the 17th century artist told you so? To get me on art.

You know, Da Vinci was a little light in the loafers. I don't know if you know that or not.

Did you know that? You don't know Da Vinci had a little sugar in his tank.

Yeah, and it's suspected, I've heard this even in the LGBTQ community, it's suspected that the

face of Jesus that Da Vinci popularized was actually the face of his gay lover.

Why do you think Jesus looked that way? Every black person here is like, I never did.

Good for you.

Some people got bamboozled. You know, you got somebody buying onto a statue,

praying to Da Vinci's gay lover. Like, how messed up is that?

If you didn't learn about prosperity, you learned something today.

Yeah, they show him poor, they show him broke. But Roman soldiers gambled over his garments.

These weren't Roman soldiers that saw him as the son of God. These weren't Roman soldiers that respected him.

These were the same Roman soldiers who blindfolded him, hit him and said,

prophesy unto us, Son of Man, which one of us was it that hit you?

Awful, degrading. Yet they gambled over his clothes. Why? Because they were clothes worth gambling over.

That means he was dressed well. Yeah.

Hallelujah. Now, it came to pass afterward that he went through every city and village.

If I want the finances of the church to increase, do you know what I do?

Have you ever heard me teach on money and go, all right, the reason why I've been teaching

on money is we've been really in the red. Maybe needs a new pair of shoes.

We need to keep the light on at city light. In fact, we're launching a new campaign. Keep the light

on at city light. You want money? Increase in the anointing. Yeah.

You want to have an increase in money? The anointing. That's the manifest presence of the Holy

Spirit, the substance of God, God's stuff. It is a magnet for abundance, for finances, for prosperity.

So if we're ever having a problem financially, we all know the staff knows. I know our solution

is that some clever campaign. That's why we never had one. Clever marketing, clever way. Okay,

let's find, you know, the top 20 givers take them out to dinner and I'll take them out, you know,

to Peter Luger's then Midway. I'll spring it on them. Would you like to be a covenant partner?

We're starting a, what's that whole thing? Everybody has the businessman's model, whatever. All

these games, anointing brings money. Jesus was a money magnet because he was the Christ, the

anointed one and he drew it in from everywhere. Hallelujah. In the Bible, when Israel was walking

right with God, money just came to them. When the temple was being dedicated and the glory of God

was there, it actually says the people had to be refrained from giving. Imagine that. Imagine

a church that receives an offering and I go, all right, stop it enough. We got enough. Put it back.

Yeah. In fact, the Bible says people will give freely in the day of his power. So the power of

God, the anointing of God is a magnet for the prosperity of God. Put that verse back up, please.

That's why Jesus, it says that he went through every city and village preaching and bringing the good

news of the kingdom of God and the 12 were with him and certain women who had been healed of evil

spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene out of whom had come seven demons and Joanna,

the wife of Shusa, Herod Stewart and Susanna and many others who did what? They were literally

assigned to give to him who provided for him from their substance. You think Jesus ever had to ask?

You have to call God forbid, a man and call a woman over. Hey, listen, girl, I'm a little

light here. What do you got for me this month? No, they couldn't help it. They couldn't help it.

Hallelujah. Those of you who were givers, you give because you love God, you worship him and then

you can't help it. You want to give to the anointing, the life of God, something that's actually making

a difference. Hallelujah. I'll close with this. Do it around me, chapter 8, verses 11 through 18.

We're going to have a great Easter service. But after Easter, I may continue along these lines.

I don't want any of you to hold me responsible for you lacking and saying, Pastor, you never told me.

I don't know how I let 14 months go by. I'll mention it, but I'm talking about a whole service

dedicated where we got to get stuff like a Thanksgiving turkey. Stuff full of the word of God.

The word of God concerning prosperity. You got to get sick and tired of being sick and tired, sick

and tired of lack. I said that in one guy here, I couldn't believe it. He's doing great now. We're

actually very close now. I was actually going to say his name only because I know he would laugh if I

did, because I have an anointing to tease him. And he has a grace to like it.

He turns to me and he goes, I'm good. I go, what do you mean you're good? Like with money,

he's like, oh man, I'm good. How good are you? I'm good. How many churches have you built?

How many orphanages have you founded? Oh, you mean you're good in the sense that you have just

enough for yourself and now you're good? That is the most selfish thing I've ever heard.

Yet people will say that and say, well, I'm being humble, you know, I don't want too much.

You're good because you have it at my fore and no more mentality. That's utterly selfish.

Don't tell me you're good. You're good when your cup is overflowing and wherever you go,

you relieve suffering and you leave a wake of healed bodies and buildings built for the glory of

God in your trail. Now you're good. You're not good when you're like middle, middle class and you're

not hungry. Oh, I'm good. No. Hallelujah. You guys read your Bible. Look, look at the patriarchs.

Look at Abraham, financially, superprosperous. Look at Isaac, financially, superprosperous. Jacob,

if you go down the list, God's hand designed them. What comes next? Abundance and prosperity.

Hallelujah. You cannot that. You cannot. Yes, there's warnings. Lots of warnings. I warn you too.

Don't bend the need of money. Don't love money. Don't let money rule over you. A good way to keep

all that and check once again. That's why God implemented the tithe is because it keeps your

heart pure. It's make sure that money never becomes your master, but stays your servant.

Because now you're honoring the Lord and you're putting first before money. All right,

Deuteronomy 8-11. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not

keeping his commandments, his judgments and his statutes, which I command you today. Worship

team, you can come up. Lest when you have eaten and are full, eaten and are full.

By the way, they're just meeting God. This is the children of Israel. They just come out of Egypt.

They're just getting to know his nature, his character. A good question always asks is,

what's God like? You ask 20 people that you get 20 different answers. You know who you can trust?

The Bible where he reveals his nature. He reveals his character. Here he's revealing who he is,

what he's all about. When you have eaten and are full, oh, so God is a God that likes me eating

and full. I'm so glad I could be obedient to the Lord at every meal and have built beautiful

houses and dwell in them. So he's not against beautiful houses. I learned something about God.

And when your herds and your flocks multiply, whoa, whoa, I've been praying for addition,

but I just found out that God's not against multiplication. He wants to multiply and your herds

and your flocks multiply and your silver and your gold are multiplied and in case you didn't list

everything enough. And then he says, and all that you have is multiplied. So God is a God of

multiplication. God is a God of abundance, of prosperity. Be careful. In other words, be careful

when I bring you all these blessings that your heart isn't lifted up and cried and that you forget

the Lord your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt from the house of bondage who led you

through that great and terrible wilderness in which were fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty land

where there was no water who brought water for you out of the flinty rock who fed you in the wilderness

with mana, which your fathers did not know that he might humble and you and that he might test you

and it's always to do you good in the end. Be careful when you're so blessed and you have beautiful

houses and your all your needs are met that you don't say in your heart my power and the might of

my hand have gained me this wealth. And you shall remember the Lord your God. You remember him

and you're giving and you're generosity for it is he who gives you power to get wealth,

power anointing creative ability. How will that happen? Don't worry about it. Believe that he

wants it. Believe that it is happening. Don't worry about the final result. You'll always be

shocked and surprised by how he did it. We're so limited in our thinking and our planning. He's

unlimited for it is he who gives you power to get wealth that he may establish his covenant

which he swore to your fathers as it is this day. Hallelujah. Father, I pray for everybody here

in the name of Jesus. I pray for mighty harvest on every seed soon. I pray for an attitude adjustment.

I pray Lord for a holy brainwashing that we would move away from small-minded thinking,

lack thinking, a scarcity mindset that we would fully embrace your ways which are grand,

your ways which are in addition but their multiplication. And I pray that you would come upon

everybody here who has anxiety in their life, who has stress in their life, who's struggling

and finances in any way come and meet their needs in an over the top manner as you promised in your

word you would do. In Jesus name, amen. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus.

Thank you, Lord. Well, are you ready to worship and honor the Lord with your tides and offerings?

Give the Lord a big shout. The giving information is to my left and to my right,

give only willingly. If you're unwilling, don't give until you're willing.

Give with a glad heart, give in faith, believing that you make a living by your giving and

anything you give, God multiplies back to you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.

Don't let your peace get lost like Jeremiah and forget prosperity.

Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.

Hallelujah. I pray you have a blessed holy week to take some time and meditate on what Jesus did for you.

And invite people like crazy for this coming Sunday. They're very willing to say yes,

people who need to hear the gospel. I'll be on best behavior. I promise.

I'm calling up Joe Lostin. I'm having him say a special, non-offensive prayer over me.

I am. I am. My wife and I have met him. It's just an amazing man. I just, my left,

marvelous. How could somebody be so unoffensive and sweet, unbelievable? So he's going to lay hands

on me. And in part, you'll be so proud of me next Sunday. I'm even going to wear a suit.

Yeah, I'm going to wear a suit. I'm going to say praise the Lord, everybody. Come on up, Emily.

and cuddly. It's going to be just like just like pop a bow came in giving everybody a hug.

You're going to be proud of me. Really? You're safe to bring your unbelieving friends. I'll be on

right. If you want prayer for anything, you might be new here. You might even not know what's

happening right now. But you know you need someone to pray with you and for you. You need just,

you need help. Maybe you can't even articulate it. Make your way to that blue lit section. There's

kind people, sweet people who know God and they will lead you into the things of God and pray with
