Second Corinthians chapter 12, many hills stop laughing.
2 Corinthians 12 chapter mention
-
2 Corinthians chapter 12, verse 6 through 9.
-
It says, This is the Apostle Paul speaking.
-
He says, If I wanted to boast, I would be no fool in doing so.
-
Because I will be telling the truth, but I won't do it because I don't want anyone to give me credit beyond what they can see in my life or hearing my message, even though I have received such wonderful revelations from God.
-
So to keep me from becoming proud, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger from Satan to torment me and to keep me from becoming proud.
-
Three different times I beg the Lord to take it away.
-
And each time he said, My grace is all you need, my power works best in weakness.
-
So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses so that the power of Christ can work through me.
-
The title of my message is Left on Red.
-
Left on Red.
-
Father, open up our eyes and our ears that we may receive a word from you that would change and transform our lives forevermore.
-
Hind me behind the cross, such a voice be louder than mine.
-
And Lord, thank you for letting LeBron James join the Philadelphia 76ers.
-
In Jesus' name we pray.
-
Everybody say, Everybody say, Amen, amen.
-
Left on red.
-
Have you ever sent someone many heel a text and watched that red receipt pop up and you didn't get nothing back in return?
-
No reply, no explanation, no response, five minutes turned into five hours, five hours turned into five days, and suddenly you find yourself going back to read read your message to see did I put something wrong?
-
Did I say the wrong thing?
-
Is it something off?
-
It is a horrible feeling to be left on red.
-
I mean, you just feel ignored, you you you feel embarrassed, you you feel overlooked.
-
Let me just do a quick shorthand.
-
Anybody here you ever been left on red after leaving a text message?
-
Where are you?
-
Raise your hand if that's ever happened to you.
-
Okay, let me let me ask you a question.
-
Any person in this room, you've left someone else on red before?
-
Wow, wow, wow.
-
Okay, let me ask you this question.
-
Is there anybody left on red by someone else in the room right now?
-
Oh, yeah, confront them.
-
Yeah, this is the time.
-
Get it?
-
I mean, he'll get it right.
-
Just go, wait a minute.
-
When are you gonna answer?
-
Pastor, what are we talking about?
-
I thought we were talking about prayer.
-
We are.
-
If you ever really get a prayer life and you ever really start to pray, what you will discover is there are times in prayer where it feels like God left you on red.
-
Do I got anybody who pray for real?
-
I mean, yeah, sometimes you wake up in the morning and you pray.
-
It feels like an angel is in the room with you.
-
And then there are sometimes you pray when you say, Hello, hello, hello, hello.
-
Can you hear me?
-
Can you hear me?
-
And it feels like God left you on red.
-
There are times when you pray that it feels like God ignored you, like you've been praying and you've been fasting and you've been asking, and you've been crying out, and it feels like heaven has left you on red.
-
Well, let me give you this word for every person in this room, and he'll check me out.
-
God has never left you on red, God has never ignored your prayer, he has never not heard your prayer.
-
In fact, God hears the prayers in your head, God hears the prayer that you whispered in the middle of the night.
-
God heard every single prayer.
-
Pastor, don't just say stuff, back that up with some scripture.
-
Let me back that thing up.
-
Psalm 34, verse 15 says that the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are what?
-
Open to their cry.
-
Whenever you cry, God's ears open up.
-
Whenever you talk to him, his ears are listening.
-
Okay, out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, so let a word be established.
-
Let's look at Psalm chapter 116, verse 2.
-
He says, Because he turned his ear to me, I will call on him as long as I live.
-
God turns his ear to you.
-
Do you hear that?
-
It's as if you guys are talking and he's facing you.
-
But when you start talking, he turns his ears into you.
-
Well, well, Pastor, if this is true, then what's going on?
-
What I've discovered is the problem is not that God doesn't answer our prayers.
-
The problem is we don't like the answers that he gives.
-
Can I get an amen?
-
Look at your neighbor and say, He gotta be talking to you.
-
Can't be talking to me because every answer God gives me, I like.
-
And in 2 Corinthians chapter 12, we got the apostle Paul.
2 Corinthians 12 chapter mention
-
Paul is a man of God, Paul is righteous, Paul is holy, Paul is that dude.
-
Paul don't play around.
-
And the Bible says that Paul has been given these fresh revelations from Godman Hill, so amazing that it says, along with the revelation came a messenger of Satan.
-
Be careful when you want all this revelation from God, because oftentimes a revelation comes with a tormentor at the same time.
-
Every time, spiritual elevation also comes with spiritual attacks.
-
And so Paul gets elevated in the spirit, but now he's being attacked in the spirit, and the Bible says that now scholars debate whether this was a sickness, whether this was a person, whether this was an eye issue, whether this was there's so many different things that have been said.
-
I'm not gonna get into that right here.
-
Just know he had a pain in his behind that he said came straight from Satan.
-
And so, what does he do?
-
He goes into prayer to talk to God about it.
-
Let me pause right here because I hear so many people in this generation, this culture, you say you you know, uh uh prayer is just to spend time with God, and you shouldn't be in there requesting stuff and asking for stuff that you're treating him like a Santa Claus and you're being selfish and all this stuff, and I hear what you're saying, and we're gonna talk about prayer and spending time with God.
-
That is true.
-
At the same time, there is an element of prayer, and you will see this all throughout scripture, where if you got a request, you go in there and make your request.
-
Well, if God just wanted to give it, he'd just do it.
-
No, you got to make some request.
-
So Paul says, I got a pain that I gotta deal with.
-
He goes into prayer, he says, Lord, I got a messenger of Satan tormenting me.
-
Remove it now, in Jesus' name.
-
And God's response is my grace is sufficient for you.
-
And Paul said, Oh, that's cute.
-
That's cute.
-
Paul said, Paul said, That's so cute, God.
-
You oh, that was good.
-
Oh, that was good.
-
God, you good, good, you, you, you, good, good, God.
-
So Paul said, Let me get in there and let me pray.
-
So he really got in there.
-
God, remove it.
-
And God says, My grace is sufficient.
-
So now I know Paul's getting a little perturbed because even in the passage, he said, I could brag, I could boast.
-
I think he went before God and said, Now come on, you see how many churches I've done opened.
-
You, you, you, you know how many times I've been stoned and came back.
-
You you see what I've gone through.
-
I'm begging you, take this away from me now.
-
The third time God says, My grace is sufficient for you.
-
I want you to write this down because it's important if you're going to be effective in your prayer life.
-
God will not give you the answer you requested, God will give you the answer you need.
-
Please write that down.
-
God will not give you the answer you requested.
-
God will give you the answer you need.
-
If you are gonna be effective in your prayer life, you gotta start being okay with God's answers.
-
Here's what the Bible says in Proverbs chapter 3, verse 5.
-
It says, Trust in the Lord.
-
Don't trust your emotions, don't trust your janky feelings, don't trust your schizophrenic mind.
-
Push it able to say he's talking to you.
-
You can't even figure out what you want to eat.
-
Ask the person what you want to eat when you leave it.
-
Ask them, they don't know what you want to eat.
-
I don't know, I'm supposed to trust a person who don't even know what they want to eat this afternoon.
-
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't you lean on your own understanding?
-
You are not smarter than God.
-
Just because God gave you five senses don't mean that you know more than Him.
-
Just because you can see, smell, touch, taste, that does not give you some type of supernatural power where when God gives you an answer, well, I don't I don't like that one, I want something different.
-
No, you gotta trust God's answer.
-
So, what I'm about to do is hear me, hear me, hear me, hear me, hear me.
-
You do not truly trust God until you can trust an answer you don't understand.
-
Man, this is good.
-
I'm really helping somebody today.
-
You do not truly trust God until God can give you an answer you don't truly understand.
-
Prayer is not about convincing God to agree with my will.
-
Prayer is me agreeing with God's will and learning what his will is and trusting his answer for my life.
-
So I'm gonna hook y'all up.
-
I'm gonna hook y'all up.
-
I'm gonna help you.
-
It's gonna change your prayer life.
-
It's gonna be so good after this.
-
I'm gonna hook you up.
-
I've been doing this a long time.
-
I've been praying since I was a kid, and I've discovered there's about four answers that God typically gives.
-
I'm gonna give you all four answers that God typically gives.
-
Usually God's either saying, Yes, no, wait, or better.
-
It's gonna help so many people.
-
I'm trying to tell you.
-
Come on, let's say it together.
-
Come on.
-
Yes, no, wait, battery, man.
-
I can't hear you.
-
Let's say it again.
-
Come on.
-
Yes, come on, man.
-
No, wait, better.
-
If you can understand these answers, if you can understand what God is trying to say to you, it will help you in every season of your life.
-
First answer is yes.
-
Say yes.
-
Everybody here like yes.
-
Oh, we love a yes, boy.
-
God, can I do that?
-
Yes.
-
God, can I go there?
-
Yes.
-
God, can I get that?
-
Yes.
-
God, can you do that?
-
Yeah.
-
Oh, yes.
-
We'll make you feel so good.
-
Yes, tastes delicious.
-
Y'all see that?
-
That thing where they're spraying and they say it's an old school way to put on cologne.
-
You and then you go like this.
-
That's how a yes feel.
-
Like, yes, yeah.
-
Wanna put it on?
-
Yes.
-
Yeah, yeah.
-
We love a yes.
-
Despite what you heard about God, God will give you a yes.
-
I know you keep hearing God is angry, he's mean, he's wrathful.
-
Some people you listen to, God is never happy, God's never in a good mood.
-
God is always mad, God's just upset.
-
That is not the God of the Bible.
-
There are people who are taking Old Testament God out of context that don't realize that Jesus died for your sins and that God actually exhausted all of his wrath on the cross at Jesus, and he's actually here to save you and bless you and not throw you away in hell.
-
You you guys are making it seem like Jesus died for nothing.
-
So, anyway, and I'm not saying he doesn't correct you, but this idea that he's just mad and wrathful all day, that's not it.
-
God will say yes.
-
Abraham wanted a son, he said yes.
-
Israel wanted to be delivered, he said yes.
-
Peter wanted to walk on water, he said yes.
-
A blind man said, I want to see.
-
He said yes.
-
The Bible is full of God saying yes.
-
Matter of fact, if you grab your Bible, every promise in here got a yes on it already.
-
If it's a promise in his word for your life, it already got yes on it.
-
Pastor, don't just be saying stuff.
-
Can you can you prove it with scripture?
-
I can.
-
Second Corinthians chapter 1, verse 20.
-
It says, For no matter how many promises God has made, they are yes in Christ.
-
And and it says, So through him, the amen is spoken by us.
-
So so God says yes, and you're supposed to say, God says yes, you're supposed to say it's spoken by us to the glory of God.
-
So so the promises are yes.
-
Everybody here wants a yes.
-
We we love a yes, we can't wait for a yes.
-
But what I've discovered is that yes can be dangerous at the same time.
-
And here's why yes can be dangerous.
-
The question is not does God give a yes?
-
The question is, will you still stay faithful after you get it?
-
Can you be trusted with a yes?
-
Because everybody up in here have experienced someone or we've done it ourselves, where we have spent 21 days praying to God for something, only for Him to give it to us, and we have never prayed like that ever again in our lives.
-
Pray for God for a job, only to get the job and forget God.
-
Begging for that many to get the man and have not been to church, you haven't had that fire since.
-
Every person here have gone.
-
Matter of fact, let me stay with this man thing for a sec.
-
Okay, ladies, do not be mad at me.
-
I didn't say this.
-
Ladies, I did not say this.
-
Don't be mad at me.
-
I did not, this is not from me.
-
This is what I've heard other men say to me about y'all.
-
Men have said to me, PB, I'll never marry a woman because the moment you say yes to marriage, she changed.
-
PB, I'm just trying to tell you that the moment you say yes, she no longer doing her hair ever again.
-
You say yes, she's never cooking for you ever again.
-
You say yes to marriage, all of a sudden she becomes entitled, she becomes this, she becomes.
-
So as long as I keep her auditioning for her role, she will be the nicest, sweetest, cutest, greatest.
-
Yes, poppy, yes, daddy, yes, yes, but the moment I put a ring on that finger, it's well, what you gonna do?
-
And where you at?
-
And what we're gonna do, make some money, it's just a dog, and it's like because there are single men who believe as a single woman you cannot handle a yes.
-
That's not me, that's not me.
-
I didn't say that.
-
That's not me, that's not me.
-
But I will say this God feels the same way.
-
God is wondering if I give you a yes, is this the last time we talk?
-
If I give you a yes, is this the last time I'm gonna see you?
-
Because while you're waiting on a yes, you're in church every week, you're praying, you're believing God.
-
Some of us, everybody here say the same lie.
-
God, I will tithe if you give me a raise.
-
And God said, Well, you stop lying.
-
So I'm stupid.
-
We both know the moment I give you 30,000 extra dollars, I'm never gonna see that money.
-
You're gonna find 30 other reasons and 30 other needs and 30 other things that came up.
-
What am I saying?
-
I'm saying that God, if God can start trusting you with a yes, you will get more yeses.
-
Hear me.
-
If it's in his will, you can get a yes.
-
If it's in his timing, you can get a yes.
-
If it's in his purpose, you can get a yes.
-
But can he trust you with a yes?
-
I don't know about you, but I want to be trusted with every yes that God gives me.
-
Come on now.
-
I'm believing God for a building for our church.
-
And I don't believe God for a building of my church.
-
I've already we committed, God, if you say yes, we're not changing.
-
We're gonna pursue you the same way we pursued you in a high school.
-
We're gonna pursue you the same way we did when there was no HC up in here.
-
We're gonna pursue you in the same way when there was very few seats.
-
We're gonna pray.
-
A building's not gonna change our heart, a building's not gonna change our passion.
-
We're gonna go after the lost, we're gonna get people free, we're gonna do everything we've been doing because this was just preparing ground to see if I can trust you with a yes.
-
Look at your neighbor and say, can you be trusted?
-
Here's the second thing that happens.
-
Manhill, check this out.
-
Here's a second thing that happens.
-
Not only do you get a yes, sometimes you get no.
-
There are times where God straight up just says no.
-
The answer is no.
-
And no bothers us.
-
God will say, no, no, no, that is not a spouse for you to marry.
-
No.
-
God said, now you know, get away, you know my scripture.
-
And you know, there ain't nothing about that person that aligns with anything that I've told you in this scripture.
-
You already know.
-
No.
-
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, God, can I, God, God, can I?
-
I just need to cuss them out.
-
I wanna cuss them out because I I want to give them a piece of my mind.
-
No, God, you don't understand.
-
If I don't let it out, I'm gonna blow up.
-
If you don't let it out, if I don't let it out, I'm gonna just I gotta get I've got to get this cuss out.
-
No, matter of fact, not only can you not cuss them out, you can't respond at all.
-
Don't say nothing, shut up.
-
Some of you, your thumbs are ready with a response.
-
You you got the text made.
-
You're just waiting on a release from Holy Spirit, but God said no.
-
Come on, rebuke your thumbs right now, the name of Jesus.
-
Come on, come on, rebuke your thumbs in the name of Jesus.
-
No, God says no.
-
No, you can't go on that trip.
-
No, we've seen your God says we've seen your budget.
-
God says, You just show me your budget.
-
What do you mean?
-
Can you go on the trip?
-
No, we just did your budget together.
-
We sat down in prayer, we just talked about your you know, you know it's no.
-
Y'all gonna get mad at me, but I don't care.
-
Uh uh, no, you met some of you, God says no, there's not a season where you can stop serving.
-
No.
-
Hey!
-
No.
-
Well, Pastor, I'm carrying a lot.
-
Yeah, but serving has been carrying you.
-
And so, how you gonna carry this stuff if the thing that's been carrying you and keeping you, if you let go of that.
-
What do you here's what happens with a no when you get a no man here, here's what you do you find every way to get around it.
-
In fact, you will deconstruct your entire faith because so that you can.
-
Justify something that God don't want you to do.
-
So now, because pleasure has called your name, but the thing that you want to bring you pleasure, Bible says no.
-
So now I gotta deconstruct this Bible.
-
Where did this really come from?
-
Who really wrote this in the first place?
-
Why did this I didn't I ain't seen the original canon?
-
And I don't.
-
So now you all your life you ain't never questioned this Bible, but because you want to do something that this Bible says no to, well, I don't even know if I can really trust it.
-
It was written by man.
-
You did all this just so you can have big fun.
-
Come on, 40 and over, 30 and over.
-
Big fun with the wretched in Baltimore.
-
You done explained God away.
-
Matter of fact, that's why some of you smoke so much.
-
That's why some of you drink so much, party so much, blast music all the time, always gotta have noise around you, always gotta have something on.
-
You are trying to drown out God's voice because you know He's screaming no at you.
-
So if I turn up life loud enough, maybe I won't be able to hear it.
-
And how many of us have destroyed and damaged our lives because we couldn't handle God's no?
-
We've seen it, that's how we all got here.
-
Genesis chapter 2, verse 16, 17.
-
And the Lord commanded the man, he said, You're free to eat from any tree in the garden.
-
But that tree, no, no, don't touch that fruit on that tree.
-
If you do it, you're gonna surely die.
-
Eve said, I heard you, but I just gotta touch it.
-
I gotta touch it.
-
And then Adam said, I hear you, but she told me, and I gotta listen to her.
-
You don't really do my work, and so I gotta listen to her.
-
You know why?
-
You gotta stop.
-
You don't like to know because you think God's hating on you.
-
You think he's some type of hater.
-
Like he's trying to stop you from doing what you really wanna.
-
I'm embarrassed to say this, but it's true.
-
Uh sometimes in the middle of the night, it could be midnight, I will I'll be laying in bed next to my wife, and I'll get up and I'll say, Babe, I'll be right back.
-
Uh there's a slice of pizza calling my name downstairs, and I'm going downstairs to get it.
-
And my wife has literally looked over at me and said, Don't do it, don't do it.
-
It's late.
-
You're gonna get heartburn.
-
Don't do it.
-
And I've looked at my wife and said, I am grown.
-
Go to sleep, mind your business.
-
Don't tell me, I'm telling you, my wife has grabbed my arm.
-
She, I, I, I have I'm like Denzel, I had to get your hands up.
-
I've had to my take your hands.
-
I've Denzeled my wife.
-
I've I've had to tell my wife, hey, let go of my arm.
-
I'm going downstairs.
-
I have I have snacks my doing go downstairs having a time in my life, eating pizza and this, and I mean, go back to sleep, and I mean 259.
-
I wake up, I mean the acid is like in my throat.
-
I have grabbed my wife, and my wife has waken up.
-
Now I'm dying, y'all.
-
My my heart is beating.
-
The pizza is landing, and my chest is stuck.
-
I can't breathe.
-
Acid is flowing.
-
I've said to my wife, get the tubs, get the tubs, get the tubs, get the chest, get the tubs.
-
And she has looked at me while I'm dying.
-
And said, I told you behind, don't go downstairs and get the pizza.
-
That's what you get.
-
Look at your dying right now.
-
Your steak, look at you, your smell, look at you, you're throwing out.
-
There are things that you have bypassed God's know to go get.
-
You have waken up in the middle of a season of your life, dying, and grasping for God.
-
And God is had to say, I thought I told you, and I'm gonna save you because I'm a good God.
-
But if you had listened to my no, you could have avoided this whole situation.
-
Come on, put your hands together.
-
When you will get to a place in your life where you realize no is the best thing God ever said to you.
-
Some of your greatest testimonies are things God never allowed to happen.
-
You hear what I just said?
-
Some of your greatest testimonies are things that God had never allowed to happen.
-
Because His knowledge protected you.
-
Okay, let's keep going.
-
We got the yes, we got a no, and then sometimes God says, wait, wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord, He will renew your strength.
-
So wait I say, wait on the Lord, wait on the Lord.
-
Come on, man, he'll he will renew your strength.
-
So wait I say sometimes God don't say yes, sometimes he don't say no, sometimes he just says, wait.
-
Come on, look at your neighbor and say, is God asking you to wait?
-
No, ask them, convict them, say, is God asking you to wait.
-
Wait does not mean it's not gonna happen.
-
Wait means it's not gonna happen right now.
-
Typically, when God says wait, it's one of two things.
-
Either it's not ready or you're not ready.
-
God, why don't you just send me my husband right now?
-
He's not ready yet.
-
I I gotta, I gotta separate, I gotta get this this this voodoo witch off of his life.
-
And then I gotta bring him to union, get him saved, put him in a group, then you're in.
-
I'm just like I'm just saying there's some stuff that we're waiting for, and God says it's not ready.
-
There's still somebody occupying that space.
-
There's still somebody in that house, there's still somebody in that building.
-
There's still, just give me some time.
-
I'm working.
-
Look at your neighbor and say, let them cook.
-
Okay?
-
But then sometimes it's you, you're not ready.
-
And the worst thing God can do is crush you with a premature blessing.
-
A blessing that you got you early.
-
You have never stewarded anything to this magnitude.
-
You haven't managed anything to this size, but somehow you want God just to throw all this stuff at you, and God is saying, there's a little bit of development that I have for you that you need.
-
Let me go back to serving.
-
Let me say this as from a pastoral standpoint.
-
Some of you don't serve, not realizing that serving is the development ground that God is using for something that you're gonna do in the secular world.
-
And God said, I need you to learn how to lead a team in here because I'm actually developing you and preparing you because you are gonna manage a team on another level in a secular spaceman here, but I need you to go through some development.
-
So when we don't want to wait, what do we do?
-
We rush, rush into every season, just rushing like you do when you driving, just rushing, speeding, and I'm telling you, you're gonna speed your way into something you're not ready for.
-
I I was rushing my life.
-
I couldn't wait to be an adult until I became one.
-
I couldn't wait to own a home till I owned one.
-
Couldn't wait to be a pastor until I became one.
-
Had no idea, but I know now.
-
Come on now.
-
Russian, rushing, pastor, but I need it.
-
It's my money, and I want it.
-
I need everybody to hear me.
-
Please hear me.
-
If God is making you wait, then it means that the blessing is too good for him to put it in a microwave.
-
This ain't a blessing he can zap for 30 seconds.
-
This that he has for you, it is so good and so divine that he's taking his time to bring it into your life because there are some blessings that are worth the wait.
-
I wish I had somebody in this room that can say it's worth the wait.
-
Can you do me a favor?
-
Can you preach to somebody around you?
-
Say, I don't even know you like that, but I'm just telling you it's worth the wait.
-
Don't rush, God, don't speed God, don't try to get in charge of the situation, don't try to do it in your own strength.
-
If God is making it take this long, then it means there's something good on it.
-
If I had to go through this many trials, if I had to fight this many giants to get this thing, then it must mean this land is a land flowing with milk and honey.
-
It must mean that the customs of grapes are so good that it's worth the wait.
-
I want to have somebody in the room.
-
I am trying to preach to you because you are about to rush into something that God says, give me another month, give me another week, give me one more year.
-
Let me do this thing because whatever it is that you're waiting for, the blessing is worth the wait.
-
Is there anybody in the room?
-
I just release on you right now a waiting spirit.
-
I release a supernatural patience for what God is about to do in your life because eyes have not seen it, ears have not heard what God has in store for your life.
-
I wish I had somebody in the room that can say, God, if you need me to wait another month, I'll wait another month.
-
If you need me to wait another year, I'll wait another year.
-
If you need me to hang on a little bit, just renew my strength so I can stay in the fight.
-
But whatever it is you're waiting on in here, God says it's gonna be worth it.
-
Wait till you see it, wait till you grab it, wait till you taste it, wait till you sit in it, wait till you walk in it, wait till you hold it, wait till you get it, you're gonna be glad you waited.
-
I feel like preaching it.
-
God says, wait till you get it, you're gonna be glad that you ate it.
-
You're gonna be glad that you stood in the fight, you're gonna be glad that you didn't get it on your own.
-
Put somebody say, I'll be worth the wait.
-
Here's my last point.
-
Here's my last point.
-
Let's give you this scripture.
-
Psalm chapter 130, verse 5.
-
Musicians, play something.
-
He says, I wait for the Lord, my whole being, my household.
-
Tell everybody in your family, we waiting.
-
What you doing right now?
-
I'm waiting.
-
That's what we're doing.
-
My whole being waits for the Lord, and in his word I will put my hope.
-
It will be an anchor for your soul.
-
Let's get up out of here.
-
Uh my last one is sometime God says yes, sometimes God says no, sometimes God says wait, and sometime God says better.
-
I wish I had somebody in the room.
-
Sometime God says, I got something better.
-
God says, I ignored you on purpose, I didn't say nothing for a reason.
-
God says, because what you're asking for, you are asking at the level you're at right now.
-
But God says I'm about to elevate you a little bit higher, and you're about to ask at a different level.
-
God says, I've got better for you.
-
Had I answered your request two years ago, you would have outgrown it already.
-
Had I already said yes five years ago, you would have already been bigger than what I gave you.
-
But God says, what I've got for you is in the secret place.
-
What I got for you is cooking in heaven.
-
And God says, I just have something better.
-
I'm sorry, what you're asking for is too small.
-
What you're asking for is too average.
-
What you're asking for is too mediocre.
-
What you're asking for, you way bigger than that.
-
God says you don't even know who you are yet.
-
You're asking you you're asking based on who you think you are now.
-
But God says I'm about to reveal a side of you that you didn't even know that you had.
-
I'm about to reveal something to you about you that you didn't even know you could do.
-
Come here, Abraham.
-
Abraham said, God, give me a ton.
-
God said, get out of here.
-
I'm trying to give you a nation.
-
Is there anybody in the room?
-
You've been asking for a ton, and God's been trying to stay nation.
-
God says, if you trust me, I will give you better.
-
God can take a dream and expand it.
-
He can take a prayer request and multiply it.
-
He can take an idea and increase it.
-
God can take that thing you brought to him and say, Oh, I can do way better than that.
-
Pack that up with some scripture, Ephesians chapter 3, verse 20, says now to him who is able to do far more.
-
I'm speaking that over your life abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us.
-
Sometimes better don't just mean bigger.
-
Sometimes God says this is gonna be better for your spirit.
-
This is gonna be better for your soul.
-
This is gonna be better for your family.
-
This is gonna be better for your mind.
-
This is gonna be better for your son.
-
This is gonna be better for your daughter.
-
This is gonna be better for your faith.
-
Somebody say better.
-
Somebody say better.
-
Throw that picture on the screen.
-
Throw that picture on the screen.
-
Throw that picture on the screen.
-
This is a true story.
-
Couple months ago, I'm sitting in a conversation with a gentleman at this event that I'm at, and he's telling me that he owns some golf clubs.
-
And I've been in this conversation with this man for an hour, and we just talking about these golf clubs that he owns.
-
And I'm just like, oh, this is a nice little cute conversation.
-
He really cares a lot about his golf clubs.
-
And so by the time the conversation was done, he said, Hey man, I'd love one day for you and your wife to come have lunch with us at my golf club.
-
And I'm sitting here saying, How am I gonna have lunch at the golf club?
-
Come to find out.
-
He didn't own a golf club, he owned a let me preach to somebody in the room.
-
You're asking God for a golf club.
-
God says, I'm trying to give you a golf clubhouse.
-
Is there anybody in the room that says I see better in my future?
-
God says I got something with your name on it, and it's better.
-
I said it's better.
-
I said it's better.
-
It's better than what you've been dreaming of.
-
It's better than what you wrote down in your journal.
-
It's better than what you originally taught.
-
Can I get somebody in Mendy Hill to prophetically open up your mouth and shout better?
-
I see better for my marriage, better for my finances, better for my health, better for this church.
-
I see better all around me.
-
If you see better, I dare you right there where you are.
-
Open up your mouth, lift up your voice, and say, God, don't bless me with a club, bless me with the clubhouse.
-
God, I pray in the name of Jesus that I have yet to see what you're about to bring into my life.
-
So on the count of three, I need you to release something from your spirit and shout better.
-
One, two, three, better.
-
If you're in this room, I want to introduce you to better.
-
I'm in Hill.
-
If you're not living for God, you're living for the enemy.
-
The enemy cannot give you a better life than God can.
-
He can't.
-
Okay, how much fun, how much pleasure.
-
He cannot.
-
The one who didn't create you cannot create a better plan than the one who designed you.
-
And he knows what's better for your life.
-
So I'm gonna introduce you to Jesus Christ.
-
I want you to make a decision today to make him the Lord of your life.
-
Every head bowed, every eye closed.
-
If you're in this room, you made it all the way here.
-
You came to Indian Trail.
-
You came to the North Manch.
-
And you're ready for better with Jesus.
-
And today you want to make him the Lord of your life.
-
Right where you are, every head bowed, nobody looking, mid here, nobody looking.
-
I need you.
-
If you want to be saved today, I just need you right where you are.
-
Throw your hand up, throw it back down.
-
Throw your hand up, throw it back down.
-
See your hand.
-
I see your hand, brother.
-
I see your hand, daughter.
-
I see your hand, I see your hand.
-
Just throw it up, throw it back down.
-
If you're in this room and you're saying, I want better, I want better.
-
I want the light that God has for me.
-
Just throw your hand up, throw it back down.
-
Throw your hand up, throw it back down.
-
I see your hand.
-
I see your hand.
-
I see your hand.
-
I see your hand.
-
Right now, I'm getting ready to pray to lead you in a prayer of salvation.
-
Hold, give me one second.
-
And everybody repeat up to me.
-
Come on.
-
Say, Father.
-
Thank you for loving me.
-
Thank you for sending your son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to die for me.
-
Today's a new day.
-
Today's a new beginning.
-
I believe Jesus lived.
-
Jesus died.
-
Jesus rose again.
-
Just for me.
-
Today I'm saved.
-
My mistakes are over.
-
I'm having a fresh start right now.
-
And today, I thank you.
-
In Jesus' name.
-
Come on, host.
-
Everybody shout, Amen.
-
Everybody shout, amen.
-
Come on, mid heel.
-
Can you make some noise for every person that just said yes to Jesus Christ?
