  1. Welcome to the Rheem Sound Church of God podcast.

  2. Wherever you're listening from, we hope you are blessed by

  3. today's message. We're going to the Book of

  4. Exodus chapter number. 12 and I would.

  5. Like to begin reading here and then.

  6. Skipping just a little and reading a bit more about this

  7. Passover that took place and Acts of Exodus 12 verse 12 says

    Exodus 12:12

  8. for I will pass. Through the land of Egypt on

  9. that night and will. Strike all the 1st.

  10. Born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast.

  11. And against all the gods. Of Egypt.

  12. I will execute judgment. I am the Lord now, the blood.

  13. Shall be assigned for you. On the houses.

  14. Where you are. And when I see the blood, when I

  15. see the. Blood.

  16. Remember that old song? Christ our Redeemer died on the

  17. cross, died for the Sinner, paid all it.

  18. All. Who receive him need never.

  19. Fear for He will pass will Passover you When I see the

  20. blood, I will Passover. You and the plague shall not be

  21. on. You to destroy you when I

  22. strike. The land of Egypt.

  23. Then we go down to verse #21 when?

  24. Moses gives instructions, and Moses called for all the elders

  25. of Israel and said to them, pick out and take lambs for

  26. yourselves according to your families, and kill the Passover

  27. lamb. And you shall take a.

  28. Bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and

  29. strike the lentil and the two doorposts with the blood that is

  30. in the. Basin and none of you.

  31. None of you, none of you shall go out of the door of his house

  32. until morning. I want to speak today on this

  33. thought. Stay under the blood, stay

  34. under. The blood till morning comes.

  35. Father in the name of. Jesus.

  36. Lord, we've had a wonderful worship experience here.

  37. And Lord, we've heard a message and an interpretation.

  38. God that has assured us. Of your presence, God, and even

  39. when things seem difficult, God, how great.

  40. And how mighty you are. And even the things.

  41. That plagued us over a week. God now face the power of the

  42. Holy Spirit. And never can win against God.

  43. We just pray, Lord, now for the special anointing of your Spirit

  44. on this message and on the communion that will follow.

  45. Here for your glory and your honor, and we praise you for it

  46. in Jesus name, Amen. You may be seated. 2 weeks ago I

  47. preached on losing an hour and last.

  48. Week I preached on. On an invitation to an ARC

  49. encounter. And both of those messages

  50. toward the end begin to focus on the coming of Jesus.

  51. And I want to do the same thing again today.

  52. Interesting thing, a little side note to last week's message on

  53. an invitation to an ARC encounter.

  54. A little kind of humorous thing, but yet it was a blessing.

  55. And that is I was standing at the door back there greeting

  56. people, and Kelsey Robbins came and was stood in front of me to

  57. greet me. And she was.

  58. She was. Grinning and sort of laughing

  59. and. She said, Pastor, I just want to

  60. tell you the first time I came to this church, her mother, of

  61. course, Tina had been after her to get her.

  62. To come to. Church and so she finally.

  63. Came to. Church to satisfy her mother and

  64. she said you preached on Noah and the ark.

  65. And she said I laughed. She said I sat there and laughed

  66. and said that didn't happen. And she said this is reason I

  67. don't even. Want to go to church?

  68. Because of this kind of stuff. And she stood in front.

  69. Of me and she said she said I'm. Laughing today for a different

  70. reason. And you know what?

  71. She's in the Ark. With us now, so praise God, it's

  72. a holy laughter. Now, Kelsey.

  73. And it was a little more with that story, but it blessed my

  74. heart. And she laughed at me.

  75. I thought, what? You laughed at me, She laughed

  76. at me. And she's still living.

  77. No, just kidding about that. But but it was serious, she

  78. said. That didn't happen.

  79. But thank God, what the blood of Jesus Christ.

  80. Can do. For each and every one of us,

  81. this is. The writings and of.

  82. Course these five first. Books of the Bible, The

  83. Pentateuch, can we hear? Moses and the Bible speaks of

  84. Moses in Hebrews 11/28 and says by faith he kept the Passover

  85. and the sprinkling of blood lest.

  86. He who? Destroyed.

  87. The first born should touch them.

  88. And we know that there were somewhere, it was over 400 years

  89. that they were in Egypt, but the children of Israel were for

  90. hundreds of years they were slaves.

  91. They were in bondage. And there was all kinds of

  92. attempts to get them out of that captivity and bondage.

  93. And none of them worked. And even when God used Moses to

  94. bring plagues on the land, there were 9 plagues that did not

  95. work. There was.

  96. Water turned to blood. There were frogs in the land,

  97. there were lice, there were flies, there was disease,

  98. livestock, there were boils on their bodies.

  99. Locusts covered the. Land Darkness 9 Plagues and none

  100. of them brought deliverance. It took the 10th one which

  101. involved the blood of the lamb in our In other words, to become

  102. free from captivity. It took the blood of the lamb.

  103. Can I say to you today that it still takes the blood of the

  104. Lamb? Not one of those of that day,

  105. but John said in chapter 1 and verse 29 of his Gospel.

  106. He said the next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and

  107. said, Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the

  108. world. So as it took the blood of the

  109. Lamb, then it takes the blood of the Lamb.

  110. Now first Peter 118 says, knowing that you were not

  111. redeemed with corruptible things like silver or gold from your

  112. aimless conduct received by tradition from your Father's,

  113. but with the precious blood of Christ as of a Lamb without

  114. blemish and without spot. As the old song says, there is

  115. power, power, wonder, working power in the blood of the lamb.

  116. There is power, power, wonder, working power in the precious

  117. blood of the Lamb. And there's still power today in

  118. the blood of the Lamb of God and the only way we ever find

  119. forgiveness and redemption. And we sing about it earlier and

  120. we'll sing about it again. The blood of Jesus paid the

  121. eternal price for the redemption of our souls.

  122. In fact, it was actually during the celebration of this event,

  123. Passover, hundreds of years later, that Jesus instituted

  124. what you and I are going to do today in taking the Lord's

  125. Supper. Listen to what it says in

  126. Matthew 26, verse 26. And as they were eating, Jesus

    Matthew 26:26

  127. took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the

  128. disciples, and said, take, eat this.

  129. This is my body. Then he took the cup and gave

  130. thanks and gave it to them, saying, Drink from it, all of

  131. you, for this is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for

  132. many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, notice what

  133. comes next. He said, I say to you, I will

  134. not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day

  135. when I drink it. New with you?

  136. In my father's Kingdom. So Jesus said that even the the

  137. Lord's Supper, even the bread, even the, the wine, the juice,

  138. those elements that we take, he said, they not only remind you

  139. of what I will do for you on the cross, but they also remind you

  140. that I'm coming again. And when I come again for the

  141. first time, I'll have this meal again with you, but not until I

  142. come again and we're in the Father's Kingdom.

  143. Are you looking forward to it? The next great I said.

  144. The next great Lord's Supper is going to take place around the

  145. marriage Supper of the Lamb and the Table of Glory.

  146. Can you give him praise? In the House of the Lord, but

  147. He. Also said to them that.

  148. This event will mark. A brand new day for you.

  149. In fact, he says in Exodus chapter 12/2, he says this month

    Exodus 12 chapter mention

  150. shall be your beginning of months, it shall be the first

  151. month of the year to you speak to all the congregation of

  152. Israel, telling them or saying on the 10th of this month every

  153. man take for himself a lamb according to the House of his

  154. father, a lamb for a household. He said on this occasion, when

  155. this takes place, everything becomes new.

  156. You start, it's the beginning of a new year.

  157. How many are glad to know that when the blood is applied to our

  158. hearts and life, everything starts over.

  159. We get a new life. The Bible says we are born

  160. again. We're born of the Spirit of God

  161. and the water of heaven. We are born again, people of God

  162. and all begins new. Paul said that all things pass

  163. away and everything becomes new. Our whole life becomes brand new

  164. when the blood is applied to our hearts and lies.

  165. And I want you to notice that every house was included.

  166. It's interesting there that in that verse he said speak to all

  167. the congregation of the Israelites, the all the

  168. congregations. Now there were many families,

  169. right? There were many homes.

  170. There were lots of them. There were there were maybe

  171. 1,000,000 1/2 or even up to 2 million of them.

  172. So there were lots of houses, but he said I speak this to the

  173. congregation. So every house put together made

  174. the congregation of the House of Israel.

  175. Brothers and sisters, you come here as individuals and you will

  176. take this this cup and you will take this bread and you will

  177. take it as an individual. But you are part of the

  178. congregation. You are a part of the church.

  179. You are related to your brother and your sister.

  180. And it's this blood of Jesus Christ represented in this

  181. little cup that made you one. And now you're my brother.

  182. You're my sister and. I'm yours whether you like.

  183. It or not I was here to notice though.

  184. For this to take place, the Bible said the Lamb had to be

  185. without. Blemish and the Lamb had to be

  186. slain living. The lamb could not save.

  187. But dying the lamb could save the lamb alive the blameless.

  188. Lamb. The one that they picked out of

  189. the flock. The one that was so.

  190. Perfect. Couldn't do anything for anyone.

  191. Alive but when the lamb. Died could save first

  192. Corinthians 15 three, Paul said. I delivered to you first of all,

  193. that which I. Also received.

  194. That Christ died Christ died for our sins, according to.

  195. The scriptures, he also says in First Corinthians 57, Therefore

  196. purge out the old leaven that. You may be a new.

  197. Lump, since you truly are unleavened for indeed Christ.

  198. And what does he call him? Our Passover?

  199. He goes back to Exodus 12. He goes back to that time and

  200. says there was a Passover and there was a blemish, spotless

  201. lamb sacrifice. And that lamb, the blood had to

  202. be shed. That lamb had to die.

  203. And now Christ, he's our Passover and he was sacrificed

  204. for us. You know, there are people in

  205. our world, lots of them, that will say, oh, we think Jesus was

  206. a great teacher. We like the things he taught,

  207. like the lessons that he gave people.

  208. We like the things he did, but they don't want anything to do

  209. with the cross. But my brother and sister, the

  210. only way Jesus could ever save anybody was to go to the cross

  211. of Calvary. The cross is still the central

  212. message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

  213. Don't ever forget it. You could not have been saved by

  214. the good teaching of Jesus or the good life of Jesus, but you

  215. could be saved by his death and the shedding of his blood on the

  216. cross of Calvary. Are you thankful for that today?

  217. And it was not enough even that the blood was shed.

  218. It had to be. Applied.

  219. The blood had to be applied. Jesus shed his blood on the

  220. cross, but it has to be applied by faith.

  221. Jesus. When we get saved, when we ask

  222. Christ to come into our heart in a spiritual sense, Jesus

  223. sprinkled our hearts with his own blood.

  224. We receive the benefits of Calvary's cross.

  225. It's not a physical sprinkling, It's not somebody standing up

  226. with a little sprinkler, But what it is, it's a faith

  227. transaction where the blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on

  228. the cross is sprinkled on our conscience, sprinkled on our

  229. heart so that we can be forgiven of all our sins and have have a

  230. brand new life. Have you been sprinkled with the

  231. blood of Jesus? Have you been covered by the

  232. blood of the Lamb? Have you been covered?

  233. And then? The Bible says that blood.

  234. Had to be applied. It had to be applied.

  235. Tom, do me a favor. Go over there to that door, if

  236. you will. That's either one of them side

  237. door, that one. Either one.

  238. OK, so the Bible says. That that.

  239. Blood was shed that. Blood was sprinkled on the.

  240. Lentil. Where's the lentil, Tom?

  241. OK, so the lentil. And it said also.

  242. On the side post right? Show them the side post.

  243. OK, so if anybody doesn't. Know what a lentil is?

  244. He knows a lentil. Is that top right?

  245. That top piece and the side post?

  246. Thank you. Where is the one place the blood

  247. was not sprinkled on the bottom on the floor?

  248. Why? Because you never you never, you

  249. never walk on the. Blood you honor.

  250. The blood of Jesus Christ, you have covering by the blood of

  251. Jesus, but it's far too precious.

  252. And so you don't put blood on the floor, you put blood on the

  253. top and the sides because the blood of Jesus is the holy

  254. blood. It is a sanctifying, saving

  255. blood. They're people today that are

  256. walking on the blood of Jesus. Jesus today to their own hurt

  257. folks, honor the blood, give God thanks for the blood, be

  258. thankful that blood of Jesus has shed, but never, never walk on

  259. the blood of the Lord Jesus. It is too precious for that.

  260. The instructions were also given that not only was the blood to

  261. be sprinkled, but the lamb was to be eaten.

  262. The lamb that was what was slain had to be eaten.

  263. And the Bible gave specific instructions.

  264. The whole of the lamb, the whole lamb, it was not to be boiled in

  265. water. It was to be roast in fire so

  266. that it could remain because all of the lamb had to be consumed.

  267. In other words, everything about the lamb, everything about the

  268. lamb. And when we think about that and

  269. we think of Jesus being the Lamb of God, folks, we need to feed

  270. on Jesus everyday. I said we need to feed on Jesus,

  271. the whole lamb, not just the part we like, but all of the

  272. Lamb, all of the Lamb. Everything about Jesus, we need

  273. to be feeding on it. Because He's His word is His

  274. self and Himself is the very food that we need in our lives,

  275. not just what we like. We take His yoke and we feed on

  276. it. We take His cross and we feed on

  277. it. And one day we'll take His crown

  278. and we'll feed on it. Thank God.

  279. Thank God for Jesus today. Amen.

  280. Hallelujah. Then he said when you eat it,

  281. you eat it with bitter herbs. And bitter herbs were obviously

  282. a. Reminder.

  283. Reminder of the bitterness. That they went through.

  284. In Egypt, the. Hard times they went through.

  285. How many know? That Jesus tells us that if we

  286. live godly for him, we will suffer some persecution.

  287. There'll be some hard situations that come and you may go through

  288. some bitter experiences, but thank God, thank God they won't

  289. last forever. Do you hear what I'm saying?

  290. They're just a reminder of where we were.

  291. But thank God, we've been saved by the blood.

  292. We've got royal blood flowing in our spiritual veins today.

  293. We've got a new name and glory. Hallelujah.

  294. We've got a home with the Master, the Savior Church.

  295. We can rejoice because everything good that God could

  296. possibly give us. Comes through the power of the

  297. cross, then he even. Instructed them how to go about

  298. this meal. How do you eat a meal like that?

  299. Strange command, verse 11. Of that same chapter 12 says

  300. thus. Shall you eat it with a?

  301. Belt on your waist. And your sandals on your.

  302. Feet and your staff in your. Hand, so you shall eat it in

  303. haste. It is the Lord's.

  304. Passover, and I think most of you.

  305. Probably realize in that day they they wore long robes.

  306. They wore long robes and so. The belt was like what they used

  307. to gird it up and so when you got ready to walk, when you got

  308. ready. To go somewhere you didn't.

  309. Let your robe flow, but you tied it up so your legs would have

  310. mobility. And so God is giving them, he's

  311. giving them instructions and and he says, I, I want you to be

  312. ready. I want you to be ready because

  313. your deliverance is coming and I want you to be ready.

  314. I want you to be able to leave when the time comes.

  315. I don't want any delay. So he said when you eat this

  316. meal, think about it, because those people in that day didn't

  317. eat like we do. As we know in Bible times that

  318. was. Reclining at.

  319. At, at A, at a lower level table and people would, would sort of

  320. lay on their sides or whatever and, and sort of get up to the

  321. table. He, but he tells them like these

  322. stand up tables that you go to in some of these restaurants

  323. today, it's you go to the stand up table and you keep your

  324. sandals on because in that day, again, wearing those sandals,

  325. they would take them off and their feet would be washed and

  326. so they'd be barefoot. He said, I don't want you to be

  327. barefoot. I want you to have your robe on.

  328. I want you to have that thing tucked in and I want you to have

  329. your shoes on your feet. I want you to be ready get your

  330. staff in your hand because I'm bringing you out and when I

  331. bring you out out. I want you to be ready.

  332. I want time is running out. He's what God is saying this is

  333. about to happen and I'm going to call you out of bondage.

  334. Brothers and sisters, can I say something to you spiritually

  335. today and that is I'll continue the same practice spiritually

  336. speaking, always be ready, be ready.

  337. Have your loins girded with truth.

  338. Amen. Have on the breastplate of

  339. righteousness. Have your feet shod with the

  340. preparation of the gospel of peace and be ready to leave

  341. because Jesus. Jesus is going to call his

  342. church. I said Jesus is going to call

  343. his church. And you don't want to have to

  344. start getting ready then. You want to be ready.

  345. So when the Lord calls, when the trumpet sounds, you're ready to

  346. go. Are you ready to go?

  347. Today, Amen. He said I want you to be ready

  348. to leave at a moment's notice. That's not very comfortable to

  349. think that way, that. You're to eat.

  350. You got to have this me. You've got to have a staff at

  351. your hand, shoes on your feet, and you're ready like you're

  352. ready to. Run and you're.

  353. Kind of gobbling your food like your mom told you not to.

  354. Because. He wants you to be.

  355. Ready, he said, to leave at a moment's notice.

  356. But here's my main point in this message today, and it's found in

  357. verse 22. And you shall take a bunch of

  358. hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the

  359. lentil that you saw, the two doorposts with the blood that is

  360. in the basin. And none of you shall go out of

  361. the door of his house until morning.

  362. Don't go out until morning. The Hebrew root word for

  363. Passover means to skip. To skip.

  364. So God is saying when I see the blood I will the death Angel,

  365. the Angel of death, or however you want to phrase that will

  366. skip over your house. How many want to be skipped

  367. over? He said.

  368. But but what what I've got to have you do is I've got to have

  369. you apply the blood and you've got to strike.

  370. The lentil in the 2. Doorposts.

  371. And then you stay in that house. Don't you go out.

  372. I don't care who's at the door once you eat that evening meal,

  373. because it's going to be at midnight when this death

  374. presence comes through the land. It's going to be at midnight.

  375. But from the time you eat that meal till the next morning, you

  376. don't leave your house. You stay covered by the blood.

  377. Because if you go out that door, you're no longer covered by the

  378. blood. I want you to understand that as

  379. long as the blood was left in the basin.

  380. It was of no effect, no effect. It was merely blood that had

  381. been shed. The blood had power to save only

  382. when it was lifted out of the basin and sprinkled.

  383. There was no salvation just because the lamb died.

  384. There was only salvation when the blood of the lamb was

  385. applied. There's a Jewish story or a

  386. legend. And we'll say.

  387. It's a parable because there's don't know that it happened or

  388. not. But if you take.

  389. It as a as a parable of of a. Girl, the oldest in the family,

  390. because that's what the. Bible said that when this.

  391. Angel of death would come through the oldest, the first

  392. born in the house would die and this little girl was was sick

  393. and wasn't feeling well and and she was worried because she was

  394. the first born in the family. And she said to her dad, she

  395. said had has the blood been applied to the door?

  396. I heard that we had to have the blood applied or the first one

  397. would die. And she and he said to her,

  398. honey, it's taken care of. I had one of my top people in my

  399. one of my servants, top servant take care of that.

  400. You don't have to worry about it.

  401. But she did, and she kept worrying about it, and she'd go

  402. back to dad again, call him in the.

  403. Room and Dad are you? Sure that the blood is I said my

  404. servant would never dishonor me by not doing what I said.

  405. You don't have to worry about it.

  406. And finally she said, would you? Would you carry?

  407. Me out. Dad and and and carry me out to

  408. the door and so that I can. See with my own.

  409. Eyes that the blood is there and he said OK I'll do that and he.

  410. As he carried her out. Opened the door, he looked and

  411. the blood was not there, was not there and quickly he took the

  412. basin himself and took the the the bunch of.

  413. Hyssop and began to. Sprinkle the lentil and the

  414. doorpost just before midnight. Now whether that happened or

  415. not, you can see the spiritual principle that we can't trust

  416. anybody else if you. Thinking mom's going to save

  417. you? You've got it.

  418. Wrong. You think?

  419. Well, Dad's praying for me, so I'm OK.

  420. No, you're not. Now, I'm glad Dad is praying for

  421. you, but it's your salvation at stake.

  422. Amen. Before their deliverance, Before

  423. anything would happen, they went through all kinds of

  424. difficulties and trials and anger and wrath.

  425. But remember, as a child of God, you're not appointed to wrath.

  426. That's good news. Paul says in first.

  427. Thessalonians 59 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to

  428. obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ.

  429. Does that not make you feel better?

  430. That you that's you're not, you're not?

  431. Facing the wrath of God. You don't.

  432. Want to face the? Wrath of God.

  433. And the Angel of death that came through only knew sin.

  434. That's all the Angel knew. So when that Angel came through,

  435. as long as there was, there was sin.

  436. There's going to be. Death as long as there's.

  437. Sin. How many know that death is a

  438. result of sin? The Bible said when sin is

  439. finished. It brings forth death.

  440. So where there was sin, there was.

  441. So this presence of death goes through.

  442. The only thing it knows is that wherever there's sin, there's

  443. got to be death. But when you come.

  444. To a place. When you come to a house and you

  445. see that that house has the blood of the lamb on its lentil

  446. and doorpost, don't you dare touch anyone inside that house

  447. because someone paid for the price of the sin of the lives on

  448. the inside. Something has been done,

  449. something has happened, and there is no room for death now

  450. because I have forgiven that sin and you won't touch it.

  451. Amen. The only difference is the

  452. covering of the blood of the lamb.

  453. Aren't you glad you're covered today?

  454. Let me finish this. Message that slain Lamb.

  455. Paid the debt, took the. Place of the person inside.

  456. Because there was only one. That was supposed to.

  457. Die and it was the first born, but when the Angel, the death

  458. Angel, or whatever death presence you want to say, looked

  459. at that blood, it said. The judgment's already been

  460. executed on this House. Somebody's already.

  461. Died for this sin. Remember when I see the blood,

  462. when I see the blood, I will pass over you.

  463. Somebody has already or something has already died, and

  464. so I see that. There's nothing for me to do

  465. here. Because.

  466. Someone, something has already paid.

  467. The price with blood and has already died there's no use to

  468. have death here because death already happened here but it

  469. wasn't your death, it was his death.

  470. Jesus on the cross. It was the Lamb of God 2000

  471. years ago folks, he took my place.

  472. He took your place. He is a God that is full of

  473. mercy and grace and love and cares enough about every one of

  474. us that He paid the price. In fact, can I tell you this?

  475. Instead of you being condemned, he was condemned and Jesus was

  476. condemned for your sin. So you don't have to be.

  477. He took it all. Give Him praise before.

  478. I have a fit here. Hallelujah, full of love and.

  479. Mercy. God is so full of love and

  480. mercy. He doesn't.

  481. He doesn't condemn us, He redeems.

  482. Us because he was condemned for us.

  483. That's a hard pill to swallow. Jesus was condemned.

  484. It was famous Scripture. You've heard it once or twice.

  485. Think about it. John 316 For God so love the

  486. world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever

  487. believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting

  488. life, for God did not. Send.

  489. His son into the world. To condemn the world.

  490. But that the world through. Him might be.

  491. Saved He desires. Let me say it.

  492. This way His desire is not to condemn us for our sins.

  493. But to condemn our sins for us, let me say it again.

  494. He does not desire. To condemn.

  495. US. For our sins.

  496. He. Desires to condemn our sins for

  497. us. Separate the sin from us.

  498. He is willing. To do that.

  499. Instead of condemning us. Condemn.

  500. The sin and verse 18 says. He who believes in Him is not

  501. condemned. Why?

  502. Because Christ was already condemned.

  503. But he who does not believe. Is condemned already because he

  504. is not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

  505. You know if you have received Jesus Christ as your personal

  506. Savior, you have His blood on the doorpost of your heart, and

  507. you can look confidently to a wonderful future that God has

  508. for you. But I give you this final word,

  509. stay under the blood till the morning comes.

  510. Simple command, everything is done.

  511. Just stay under the covering of the blood.

  512. The enemy can't touch you there. You're safe.

  513. Don't go out. I don't care what party you're

  514. being invited to. God said stay under the blood.

  515. I don't care what salesman's got a something for you to look at

  516. out there. Don't go out for you don't want

  517. to do that. Follow me, right?

  518. Yeah, but I got a. Chance at this hot date?

  519. After dinner tonight, you better.

  520. Leave the hot date alone. And you better stay under the

  521. blood. Stay.

  522. If you're going on a date, do it before supper.

  523. Because once you get that blood covering, you ain't going

  524. nowhere you. Staying under the blood.

  525. The only safe place in the world is to be covered by the blood of

  526. Jesus Christ, because all they can take.

  527. From you, then is your earthly. Life.

  528. But you have an eternal life with God in the heavens.

  529. There's a new body without. Oh, without.

  530. Suffering or pain or anything. Hallelujah, Hallelujah.

  531. So stay. Under the blood, stay in.

  532. That that house, there's a New Testament principle there as

  533. well, and that one is in John 15 when Jesus said what he gave the

  534. parable of the vine and the branches of the allegory, he

  535. said in John. 15-4 Abide in me. And I in you.

  536. As a branch cannot bear. Fruit of itself unless it abides

  537. in the vine. Neither can you, unless you

  538. abide in me. I am the vine.

  539. Who's the vine? And he said, who's the?

  540. Branches. You and I are the branches.

  541. And he who abides in me. And I in him.

  542. Bears much fruit for without. Me, you can do nothing.

  543. And if anyone. Does not abide in me.

  544. Does not stay in me. He's cast out.

  545. As a branch is withered and they gather them, throw them into the

  546. fire, and they burn the only listen.

  547. I'm going to get very simple. It's so simple.

  548. Stay in the house under the blood.

  549. Stay covered. And abide in the vine.

  550. And what does that mean? Well, first of all, the vine

  551. that bears fruit, the branches don't.

  552. The branches have the fruit on them, but the strength comes

  553. from the vine, right? Not the branches.

  554. The branches can do nothing on their own.

  555. Cut them off. They do nothing.

  556. But if you. Stay in the vine.

  557. That's all that's required. Just stay connected to Jesus.

  558. Did you hear me? I want to simplify everything

  559. for every believer. In here you're you're, you're.

  560. Number one really your only. Challenge is just to stay in the

  561. vine. Don't get disconnected, don't

  562. walk away. Just stay in the vine.

  563. Stay in Jesus because everything you need is in.

  564. Jesus. I said just stay in the.

  565. Vine you want. How, how do I, how do I live

  566. this Christian life? Stay in the vine.

  567. Stay connected to him. Don't let anybody talk you out

  568. of the house. Don't let anybody chop your limb

  569. off. Just stay there.

  570. Just say, God, I'm going to serve you.

  571. I don't care if I go through good, bad or indifferent.

  572. I'm going to serve you good, bad and ugly.

  573. I'm serving you. I'm stuck on Jesus and Jesus is

  574. stuck on me. I'm in the vine.

  575. I'm a branch and everything I need, He's got it.

  576. He's got everything. Everything that I need so.

  577. Stay under the. Blood and then the last

  578. scripture that would you come. Hebrews chapter 3 Beware

    Hebrews 3 chapter mention

  579. brethren, verse 12 Hebrews 3 Beware, brethren, lest there be

  580. in any of you an evil heart of do you have that Scripture?

  581. There you go. I want you to see it.

  582. Beware brethren, lest there be an any of you, an evil heart.

  583. And first of all, he said brethren, so he's not talking to

  584. the world, lest there be an any of you, an evil heart of

  585. unbelief in departing from the living God.

  586. But exhort one another daily while it is called today, lest

  587. any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

  588. For we've become partakers of Christ.

  589. We have become partakers of Christ if we hold the beginning

  590. of our confidence steadfast to the end.

  591. It's all about abiding. Just Pastor, you're making me

  592. nervous. You don't need to be nervous.

  593. Just stay in Jesus. But whether or not, I don't know

  594. where everybody's theology is on this, but I'm going to tell what

  595. the Bible teaches here, OK? Because I know too many people

  596. in my lifetime and in my pastoral role here even who were

  597. but are not now. They were, but they aren't.

  598. They got detached. Something drew them away.

  599. I don't mean a church, I don't mean that at all, but the world

  600. somehow going out from under the covering of the blood no longer.

  601. And he said if if you don't abide in me, he said, you're

  602. like. A branch that's withered, and I

  603. don't really think that's. So much to talk about eternal

  604. fire. Just saying you're.

  605. You're basically worthless. You just.

  606. Throw them on a throw them on a heap and burn them out because

  607. it's they're not any good because they're not connected.

  608. You want to stay connected to Jesus.

  609. That's it. You don't need to be connected

  610. to me, but you need to be connected to Jesus.

  611. And that needs to mean more to you than anything else I said

  612. that needs to mean. More to you than anything.

  613. Else in your world that you stay connected to Jesus Christ for

  614. us. He's coming and you stay under

  615. the covering of the blood of the Lamb.

  616. Amen. Bow your heads with me.

  617. I want to 1st give an opportunity here this morning.

  618. I trust that this message is spoken to you in some way to

  619. help you realize all of us without Christ or under

  620. condemnation. See that even though that this.

  621. Curse of Death came on. Egypt.

  622. It applied to those people living in Goshen.

  623. Even the people of God had to follow what God said.

  624. That's the only the only thing that really made any difference

  625. that night was the blood applied.

  626. And so when we sit here today, there's no difference in any of

  627. us. None of us are better than the

  628. other. Give me a break.

  629. None of us are. Only difference is if we're

  630. covered by the blood of Jesus and our sins have been forgiven

  631. because of that. Thanks for joining us today.
