-
knowledge. The Word of God is an
-
illumination which gives direction.

with the Word of God with all simplicity and clarity.
-
Strategies of church growth and last week we focused on
-
dimensions of church groups. From the background of the
-
understanding that church group is a multi dimensional concepts
-
and that there are different dimensions to church groups, we
-
itemized 4 dimensions. The numerical growth that is
-
achievable by evangelization strictly by soul winning and
-
trench planting. And the second dimension is
-
spiritual growth. And we mention that that is
-
achievable by effective discipleship.
-
Effective discipleship. Thirdly, we also mentioned that
-
the gospel, if it we advance and fulfill the global mandate that
-
it was intended and designed to be.
-
Financial groups can also not be overemphasized.
-
I will mention that that is achievable by stewardship there
-
infrastructural growth also very important and what we bring that
-
to be is visionary leadership. So numerical growth comes by
-
evangelization, strictly souvenir and judge planting.
-
Spiritual growth comes by effective discipleship,
-
financial growth by teaching the delivers to embrace still
-
worship of their resources such that God that has provided
-
whenever he makes a demand for the use of the resources he has
-
provided for his war, we are willing to release it for God's
-
use. And then infrastructural growth
-
can come by reason of visionary leadership because even if the
-
financial resources is there, it may not be properly applied.
-
So it takes visionary leadership to also go into infrastructural
-
development. And I did mention that the kind
-
of infrastructure development that is required is one that can
-
further help discipleship, OK, like schools, mission schools,
-
where you have mission school is not for the financial benefit of
-
it, but for the purpose of educating the younger generation
-
in the right direction with the right curriculum.
-
Praise the name of the law. And so today we're going to move
-
on to now itemize about 10 specific strategies on how to
-
achieve all sided church growth. So since we mentioned that
-
church growth is multidimensional, so if we will
-
not just be growing in one area and be slacking in the other
-
areas, OK, certainly we must have a good knowledge of how to
-
achieve comprehensive church growth such that the kind of
-
growth we're going to be experiencing will be all sided.
-
Now number one is effective by effective puppet ministry,
-
effective puppet ministry of preaching and teaching the Son
-
doctrine of Christ. So if church growth will be all
-
sided, it's not going to be 1 sided if it's not going to be
-
acromegaly. Acromegaly in the biological or
-
medical balance is the type of roots that happen to just one
-
organ and it grew out of proportion to other parts of the
-
body. For instance, if your harm is is
-
1 yard length OK, your right hand is 1 yard length and then
-
your left hand is 2 yard length, you know that one is already
-
disproportionate to the pair that should that should be
-
balanced. So it's going to be a kind of a
-
disfigure type of growth. So if church growth will not be
-
accommodally, if it's going to be all sided and balanced.
-
So this 10 areas must be looked into.
-
And the first one we're examining of the 10 is effective
-
pulpit ministry, using the ministry to do what?
-
To preach and to teach the holistic gospel, to preach and
-
to teach the sound doctrine of Christ.
-
In Acts chapter 6, OK, which has been our scriptural bearing to
Acts 6 chapter mention
-
drive the message of church groups, OK, you discover that
-
the apostles there, the reason they decided to have separation
-
of libel. OK was because they discovered
-
that the pulpit ministry was already being negatively
-
impacted and they have been distracted to attend to mania
-
issues as against giving their full attention to the crucial
-
issue of the ministry of the world and prayer.
-
And so when issues of distractions came up, the
-
disciple decided in Acts chapter 6, verse four, that but we will
Acts 6 chapter mention
-
give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of
-
the world. We will give ourselves
-
continually to prayer and to the ministry of the world.
-
In other words, they prioritize their puppet ministry for the
-
teaching of the Son doctrine of Christ.
-
So when we talk about the ministry of the world, the
-
ministry of the world is carried out through, or basically
-
through preaching and teaching. They look alike, but they are
-
not the same. So preaching and teaching
-
complements, praise the name of the Lord.
-
So by preaching we tell the people what to know and what to
-
do. So when a preacher comes home to
-
use the puppy, his mission, his purpose, his objective is to
-
tell the people what they need to know and what to do.
-
OK, But many at times you tell people what they need to know,
-
what to do, but they don't know how to do it.
-
So now teaching them how to do it or training people how to do
-
it, that is teaching. Praise the name of the Lord.
-
So it's like a marathon race. Preaching start the race and
-
teaching complete the race. Am I talking to somebody?
-
So in the ministry of the world, two basically are essential
-
preaching and teaching. And by preaching we'll tell the
-
people what to know and what to do.
-
And by preaching the people are further instructed, OK and
-
trained how to do what they have been told.
-
So in teaching the people are further instructed and trained
-
on how to do what they have been told.
-
By preaching you are told by teaching you are trained.
-
Hello, hello. So what preaching does is to
-
introduce people to the faith. It is teaching that establish
-
the believer in the faith. So preaching welcomes welcome
-
you OK, and teaching establishes you.
-
So by teaching the people are further instructed and trained
-
to do what they have been told. So by preaching the people are
-
introduced to the faith and so they become believers.
-
And then the believers are established in the faith by the
-
teaching ministry, by the teaching ministry.
-
And I said it can be likely to hear lyrics whereby the
-
preachers start the race, OK, and hand over to the teacher.
-
But the same person who preached can also teach.
-
I went together, I went together.
-
So the apostles in Acts chapter 6, as was today, we will give
Acts 6 chapter mention
-
ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the
-
world. And this is essential because
-
the lifestyle of the believers also matter if the church will
-
grow and the kind of teaching that a believer is receiving OK.
-
We also inform how the believer will conduct himself or serve in
-
the larger society. Are we following him?
-
So to a larger extent, the individual, private and public
-
life of the members of the Church, the believers of the
-
church, will reflect the kind of spiritual diet the Church is
-
serving for them to eat in an ideal sense.
-
OK, except you are recalcitrant. Except you are an hypocrite.
-
Am I talking to somebody now? The kind of life you live
-
outside there. OK, Suze, give a signal to the
-
people the kind of spiritual diet you are receiving in the
-
church. So, but the big question is how
-
many of you, OK are living what you are being taught?
-
Are you not living contrary to the things you are being you are
-
being taught? So let it sink down to you that
-
to a larger extent, OK, your individual private and public
-
life will reflect the kind of spiritual diet that you are
-
receiving or that has been served to you from the pulpit
-
ministry of your pastor. The second strategy that is
-
required to make church groups well-rounded all sided effective
-
is fathend and effective prayer. Fathend and what effective
-
prayer still act Chapter 6, verse 4.
-
In fact, we are going to follow this sequence.
-
You will discord that giving prayer comes before the ministry
-
of the world. The apostle said we will no
-
relieve ourselves of this distraction and give ourselves
-
to prayer and the ministry of the world.
-
And of course it is said, and I buy into it, that a praise
-
church is a growing church. A praying church is what a
-
growing church, A church that cannot pray with taglets.
-
And we saw the results in Acts chapter 6, verse 7, that when
-
the apostle decided to give themselves to the ministry of
-
prayer and the world, the church grew exponentially, grew
-
exponentially. So lending credence to the fact
-
that a pray church is a growing church.
-
A church that prays will grow. And of course, prayer is ghost
-
number one instrument for every aspect of church work.
-
For every aspect of church war, the number one instrument is
-
prayer. Are you working on the pulpit?
-
Are you working in the choir? Are you working in the technical
-
room? OK, every aspect of church war,
-
the number one instrument to carry it out effectively is to
-
involve God. And how do you involve God?
-
By prayer without him, Jesus said we can do nothing.
-
So I do not have him with you always in all that you do.
-
By prayer, by what? By prayer, by recognizing his
-
sovereignty. So, and as far as God is
-
concerned, we also also need to also know, OK, the balance and
-
the balance is that prayer is not a stand alone spiritual
-
exercise. So the fact that we have said
-
that prayer is paramount, prayer is important, prayer is
-
fundamental. And now all you do is just to
-
pray and do nothing more. Reflect on some of the things we
-
learned last week that is going to be wrong for us to want to
-
hold a meeting, OK. And all we do is to lock
-
ourselves off in prayer and fasting and releasing angels to
-
go and bring the people we will. We don't do advance.
-
We don't go from street to St. evangelism.
-
We don't bring Flyers to invite people.
-
And all we do is lock ourselves off in prayer and fasting as
-
ordering angels to go and bring people from the east, from the
-
West, from the north. It's good if you pray that
-
prayer, but you must back that prayer up with action.
-
Am I talking to somebody? So why we engage and embrace
-
prayer? OK for effective ministry, we
-
should understand that prayer is not a stand alone spiritual
-
exercise. Prayer is an act of faith.
-
But faith without war, the scripture says, is.
-
What is that? It's dead, It's immobile.
-
So. And when you study even the
-
teachings and sayings of Jesus about prayer, OK, you will
-
discover that Jesus also recognized the fact that prayer
-
is essential, prayer is important, but that we must not
-
take it as a stand alone instrument for spiritual and
-
practical engagement. So watch and pray what the
-
direct words of Jesus watch and do what and pray you may if you
-
don't watch and you just jump into prayer, you may pray and
-
miss Hello. If you don't watch and you just
-
jump into prayer, you may do what?
-
Pray and miss. Because in the way Jesus
-
presented that saying he didn't say pray and watch, but he said
-
what? Watch and pray.
-
So prayer and work is a fundamental teaching of Apostle
-
Paul, too. So we cannot do any Kingdom work
-
without prayer. We can't do any Kingdom work
-
successfully without prayer, however, and at the same time,
-
we must not leave all Kingdom works for prayer.
-
That is the balance. We can't do any Kingdom work
-
without prayer. However, at the same time, we
-
must not leave all Kingdom words to prayer.
-
Can we move on church? Can we move on to #3?
-
We must create conducive atmosphere for the Holy Spirit
-
to govern the church, a church that will grow OK.
-
Man must not be the CEO. The Holy Spirit must be the CEO,
-
so conducive atmosphere must be created for the Holy Spirit to
-
govern the Church, not only in the area of governance, but also
-
for the manifestation of the diverse gift of the Holy Spring
-
through His vessels to a church that we grew must not be
-
monopolized. Maybe just by the senior pastor.
-
We'll study in vision. Chapter 4, that the apostles,
-
the teacher, the prophets, the pastor, I watch the evangelist,
-
OK. They are the leadership offices
-
in the church ministry, but their purpose is not to take the
-
work upon themselves, but to train, to keep the general
-
believers to do the work of ministry.
-
So we are called labourers together with God.
-
So the demonstration of the gift of the Holy Spirit must not be
-
monopolized by just the pastorates.
-
Hello, are we together? Not just a segment of the church
-
member. In fact, in our age, OK, it is
-
the age of prophecy fulfillment. Way back in history, the prophet
-
Joel said in the last days God will pour out His Spirit upon
-
all flesh, so and that spirit is being poured out.
-
OK. Therefore, we must create the
-
atmosphere, the conducive environment for believers to
-
exercise the diverse gifts of the Holy Spirit.
-
In Acts 13, verse one to two, that was where we first found
-
serious. Transnational movement of the
-
gospel. You know when Jesus gave the
-
mandates in Acts chapter one verse 8, he said I will pour out
-
my spirit upon all flesh. You will be my witnesses.
-
Trust Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria to the uttermost part of the
-
earth. OK, but in a way it didn't
-
happen very quickly. Praise the name of the Lord.
-
It didn't happen very quickly, but when it will start to happen
-
in a very mega and the drastic proactive way was under the
-
ministry of Apostle apostle Paul and Acts of Apostle chapter 13.
-
OK signals that praise the name of the Lord, but that again you
-
will discover it upon under a conducive atmosphere for the
-
manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit, not just by one
-
person, but by different people. That's one at 13.
-
Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain
-
prophets and teachers as Barnabas and Simeon that was
-
called Niggal and Lucius of serene and mana end, which had
-
been brought up with error the tetrarch and shore.
-
Then verse 2 as the minister to the law and fasted the only go
-
said Praise the name of the Lord.
-
So that phenomenal advancement of the Gospel, phenomenal growth
-
of the church happen when the holy breeds said something and
-
the Holy Ghost said separately Barnabas and so on for the work
-
we are on to. I have called them and you know
-
what happened without church in their vessels, church in
-
Galicia, church in mentioned them.
-
Blood So genuine power OK, and the growth will be well-rounded.
-
So general power, ministry and manifestation of the
-
supernatural must be encouraged. Why without science and wonders,
-
there are categories of people who will never take the church
-
seriously. Without science and wonders,
-
some will not believe. And of course, our world is
-
filled with countless situations that require supernatural
-
interventions. So many things are happening in
-
the world that require supernatural intervention, and
-
only the Church qualify to manifest that dimension of
-
supernatural manifestation. Don't let the Church OK is
-
qualified to introduce that dimension of supernatural
-
intervention. Say, Father, make me the
-
instrument of supernatural intervention in every area of
-
confusion that the world is going through.
-
In the name of Jesus, receive power, receive grace, receive
-
power, receive grace to work in the supernatural.
-
In the name of Jesus in John 448 Then said Jesus unto him, Except
-
you see signs and wonder, you will not believe.
-
Praise the name of the Lord, you see your your evangelism will
-
bring some people, your good conduct will bring some people,
-
your charity will bring some people.
-
But there are some people. The only thing that can bring
-
them to Christ is signs and wonders.
-
AM I talking to somebody? So let nobody castigate signs
-
and wonder are you believe? Hello.
-
Let nobody castigate science and wonder are you?
-
Just follow them. The man that is teaching, thank
-
God for his teaching. Are we together?
-
The man that is doing charity, thank God for his charity.
-
The man that is doing St. to St. evangelism and witnessing to
-
people and they are turning to cry, Thank God.
-
But the man that has been greased to also manifest the
-
supernatural, OK, he has his own category of people that only
-
science and wonder can compare to believe the gospel.
-
Am I talking to somebody? So the growth of the church, if
-
it will be well-rounded, conducive environment, conducive
-
atmosphere, must be created for the full manifestation of the
-
diverse gifts of the Holy Spirit, Jesus Himself.
-
Affirming that there are categories of people who will
-
never come to the faith except the see.
-
Signs are wonders. But the unfortunate thing about
-
our generation is that some of the things we call signs are
-
wonder. Today they are nothing but
-
shames and blunders. Hello.
-
They are not about what Saints and blunders.
-
So if you have to arrange the miracle is Saints and blunders,
-
no science and wonder. So if you have to go out of the
-
gospel and use mischievous means, demonic means
-
manipulative means OK, So achieve miracle.
-
OK, that is not science and wonder, that is shapes and
-
blunders. Genuine science and wonder comes
-
from the Holy Spirit and nothing else.
-
And if the Lord decided not to make it happen, OK, you don't do
-
anything to help it and make it happen.
-
Am I talking to somebody? Yours is to pray, OK Yours is to
-
announce that God can do it, OK? When he does it, the glory goes
-
to him. If he didn't do it, he has his
-
reason why he has not done it. You just move on.
-
Am I talking to somebody? Mark 1617 and these signs shall
-
follow them that believe not any particular OK senior category of
-
church population, but them that believe in my name shall they
-
cast out devils. This I speak with Newtons and
-
verse 20, what he promised in verse 16 manifested and they
-
went forth and preached everywhere, the Lord walking
-
with them and confirming the word with signs following with
-
signs the word following. So yours is to confess the Word.
-
This is to confirm it every, every gracious thing you confess
-
about Jesus, you will be there with you to confirm it in the
-
name of Jesus. So take note of this.
-
A powerless church is the caricature of the one purchased
-
by the precious blood of Jesus. When a church is powerless, no
-
any slight manifestation of the supernatural.
-
When a church is operate just like a mere social organization,
-
such a church where there is no testimony of the mighty works of
-
God, OK things that God will do in the lives of the people and
-
can be traced only to the power of God.
-
Am I talking to somebody? OK, so such a powerless church
-
is the caricature of the one purchased by the precious blood
-
of Jesus #4 #4 when the growth of the church is well-rounded.
-
OK #4 in such a church, there will be active involvement of
-
the youths. Active involvement of the youth
-
will be very, very feasible. We saw phenomenal growth of the
-
church, transnational in the ministry of Apostle Paul.
-
But one thing you also notice with Apostle Paul is that a work
-
with many youths, he worked, he kept the company of youths that
-
assisted in and we're going to find out so, so it is
-
instructive to notice that Apple Support went around on his
-
missionary journey with dynamic young men like Titus, like Luke,
-
this man, I believe them to be young, middle-aged men.
-
Look, for instance, as a doctor catered for his wound after he
-
was tuned and left for dead at Lystra.
-
You know, in the pursuit of his mission, his calling, he got to
-
Lystra and then they rejected the gospel, rejected him too,
-
and also wanted him dead. They stood him and left him for
-
dead, but they dragged him outside the outside the city.
-
A brief came on him and then he came alive.
-
It was after that we started to notice that Doctor Luke OK was
-
part of his mission. So certainly he puts to use to
-
help him loss the wounds he succeeded.
-
I mean he sustained from the persecution using his medical
-
training. So Luke as a middle age young
-
doctor was on his ministry team who catered for his one after he
-
was stoned and left for dead at Nystra.
-
Now this man OK went on to write one of the Gospel, the Gospel
-
according to Saint Luke. He also wrote Acts of the
-
Apostles praise the name of the Lord.
-
And so it was a young man on the ministry team of Apostle Paul
-
that did all of this. Then when you also track this
-
ministry journey of Apostle Paul, you will also discover
-
that whereas there are this, a senior man called Barnabas with
-
him, but as they were going, they carry with them another
-
young man called John Mack. An issue came up that made him
-
to separate from John Mack for some for some time because it
-
was not proven to be as useful as it ought to to be.
-
OK, It was not proven to take on challenge of difficult Terry as
-
expected that they used to be in the front, in the front line.
-
So Apostle Paul was not comfortable with that.
-
And for that reason, OK, he decided not to go with him on
-
the second missionary journey. But at least for the start of
-
his ministry, we found this young man John Mark on on team.
-
And so whatever they were able to achieve in the first journey,
-
certainly John Mark made some contribution, praise the name of
-
the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.
-
And eventually later, at the very advanced age of Paul, he
-
also made a comment about John Mark that revealed that amplify
-
OK is weakness above his strength because he eventually
-
now discovered that he needed this John Mark, this young man
-
that is separated from. So at advanced age, when Apostle
-
Paul was about to lay down this world, he demanded for John
-
Mark, a very vibrant young man whom at that advanced age he
-
described as a man profitable for ministry.
-
Hallelujah. So this was in spite of an
-
earlier period of separation. In Second Timothy 411, he said
-
only Luke is with me. Can we give it to Luke?
-
There was no any time of breaking away.
-
From the moment he joined Paul, even to the point when Paul was
-
in the prison, he still maintained the relationship.
-
The name of the Lord. Luke was not a fair weather
-
disciple. OK, when things are going
-
smoothly, they are there. What that crisis in the
-
ministry? They fly around, they fly away.
-
No, that was not Luke. So in second motion for a level
-
in what you can term as a some of the paledictory writings of
-
apostle Paul about to lay down this world.
-
He has this to say about this young man Luke.
-
OK, that join him and contributed effectively.
-
He said only Luke is with me. Will you be that Luke that Luke
-
that when your pastor look around and everybody has gone
-
away. OK, you'll be able to say Luke
-
is with me. I think this by this man Luke
-
got the spirit of Apostle Peter when men left Jesus OK and Peter
-
said we are not going anywhere only you have the word of life.
-
May you be baptized with the spirit of Luke.
-
You will not you will not break rank in the name of Jesus.
-
You will not but light as we have this read about Luke.
-
OK. We also have another young man
-
called Demas. It was in this same text that
-
Apostropos said they must left me because he loved this present
-
word. Ayo ninja Oba le le le your
-
lauru after Ayo ninja Oba le your lauru.
-
I never see this way about Luke. He said only Luke is with me.
-
People were about Fidel Sousile in me.
-
You know Fidel Sousile. I don't know about you.
-
I'm saying it about myself and you are still looking at me.
-
You have a plan to go away is the reason you cannot say it
-
about yourself. I knew you when he was writing
-
this. Luke Paul was in prison and he
-
can still look around and find Luke.
-
And he said whole name Luke is with me.
-
He was, he was, he was, he was a man expressing loneliness.
-
And let me say, let me say this to you.
-
Nothing destroyed the soul of the soul of a man like its
-
loneliness. Nothing destroyed the soul, the
-
soul of a man like what it loneliness.
-
Our Lord Jesus Christ endured everything on the cross.
-
The only one he complained about was loneliness.
-
The disciple. I've deserted.
-
I've deserted him. Are you with me?
-
Then God himself turned his back to him momentarily.
-
It was at that point, just say my father, my father, why art
-
thou forsaken me? So nothing destroyed the soul of
-
a man like what it's loneliness. So Apostrophe was going through
-
loneliness. He was abandoned to himself.
-
But thank God that he could look around and find Luke.
-
But there was a test for him that he should still enjoy the
-
company of this vibrant young man that he will hand over to
-
who will continue after him. His test in second multiple
-
level was not for Barnabas. Are we together?
-
He said. Take Mark and bring him with
-
thee, for he is profitable to me for the ministry.
-
And of course you will also find out as you study or you track
-
his ministry that the men he appointed as Bishop were young
-
men. So he appointed younger family
-
men such as Timothy and even titles as Bishop.
-
OK. If you go to find out from
-
scholars, it is believed that Timothy was likely in his late
-
20s to mid 30s when he was appointed Bishop of Ephesus.
-
So a church that we grow in a well-rounded manner, he must
-
prioritize the usefulness of the youth.
-
So it is believed that Timothy was likely in his late 20s to
-
mid 30s when he was appointed Bishop of Ephesus.
-
Titles was also there. Titles served as Paul secretary.
-
He also served as Paul interpreter when Paul had risen
-
to send people to visit the different churches where he
-
administer. You will find titles on on the
-
team. So titles was also sent on
-
crucial mission to churches and tradition gave us clue that he
-
served eventually as the Archbishop of Crete after
-
Apostle Paul dead. He was a young man on the team.
-
So as we were providing these men, now give me one around Paul
-
that was not a young man. So what is the lesson here?
-
The lesson here is that to achieve effective church groups
-
we must involve well discipled youths and we are not to despise
-
them. We must involve well discipled
-
youths and we are not to this despite their Apostle Paul used
-
that approach and we saw the kind of phenomenal growth that
-
the church experienced because he prioritized the involvement
-
of well discipled youth. First Timothy Fort will let no
-
man despise their youth. He was talking to Timothy
-
because Timothy himself was a young man.
-
For be thou an example of the believers in Word, in
-
conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity,
-
their writing to titles. OK.
-
He gave the same admonition. Distance, speak and exhaust and
-
rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
-
However, today's youth must realize that this youth that we
-
are talking about you Mark Timothy titles mentioned there
-
were accorded so much honor and not despise.
-
They were trusted with responsibility because they
-
themselves so highly commitment to their feet.
-
They showed what highly commitment to their feet and
-
they display spiritual maturity. It's not just using youth for
-
youth's sake. Hello it's not just using youth
-
for the capacity to jump up and jump down.
-
Praise the name of the Lord. You must so early commitment to
-
your faith and demonstrate spiritual maturity here this
-
about Timothy second Timothy chapter 3 verse 14 and 15 but
-
continue down in the things without as lay and has been
-
assured of knowing of whom thou has lent them.
-
Verse 15 and that from a child thou has known the Holy
-
Scripture and a commitment to faith is the reason there can be
-
so much honor and highly trusted.
-
What is your attitude to the Scriptures?
-
What's your attitude to the Word of God?
-
What is your attitude to godly instruction?
-
Wake up, Ally. OK to the seriousness of your
-
spiritual life, don't push it to the background.
-
A lot of you today are being deceived.
-
OK that this serious with God. OK, It's not what matter at a
-
younger age. They postpone it till maybe when
-
they grow older. Hello.
-
OK, so we pay. AM I talking to somebody so, and
-
that from a child thou has known the only creatures which are
-
able to make the wise unto salvation through faith which is
-
in Christ Jesus. So, Halle, commitment to faith,
-
delayed gratification, display of maturity.
-
Okay, we make you useful to yourself, useful to your family,
-
useful to God, useful to your nation.
-
Am I talking to somebody right from what MOTU was being taught
-
by the mother and grandmother, she embraces Apple support came
-
into the state and pick it up from there.
-
He glued to Apple to Apple support.
-
He eventually became the great man that he became.
-
Luke that we mentioned that that that that that we talked about
-
OK, highly educated in language and medicine.
-
AM I talking to somebody in language and medicine?
-
#5 We said #1 Effective pulpit ministry #2 Partment and
-
effective prayer #3 For this adventure for the manifestation
-
of the Holy Spirit #4 active government of the youth and #5
-
strategic engagement of the women.
-
The choice that we grew in a well-rounded manner must also
-
embrace strategic engagement of the women.
-
Our Lord Jesus Christ Himself involved women.
-
He accepted the administration of money, material and other
-
welfare. Luke chapter 8 Let's go through
Luke 8 chapter mention
-
the first the first 3 verses and it came to pass afterward that
-
it went throughout every city and village because some people
-
are paying the bills can. As we read further, we
-
discovered that the prominent amount of people that are paying
-
the bills were we made preaching and seeing the glad tidings of
-
the Kingdom of God, and the twers were with Him, and there
-
was no record of any time that they ever went hungry.
-
Am I talking to somebody? Verse 2.
-
Uncertain women which had been healed of evil spirit and
-
infirmity. Mary Magdalene out of whom went
-
seven Devils verse 3 and Joanna the wife of Husha.
-
Errol Stewart a very senior man in government, the wife of that
-
person was on Jesus ministry team for work purpose.
-
And Susanna and many others and all those others we are talking
-
about our women with minister unto him of their substance.
-
What kind of a woman are you? Oh, Nemotier.
-
OK, Well, that's a reaction if we were compared to Netany
-
Church by anyone. Am I talking to somebody just to
-
prevent him OK, from putting his resources, his substance into
-
supporting the work of the ministry?
-
But this were women, wives of nobility OK and some that OK the
-
hard problem. And in response to the fact that
-
Jesus ministry touched the ally, they committed themselves to
-
supporting Jesus ministry. Jesus ate the food of matter.
-
If you were matter, you will never cook for Jesus again.
-
You remember that story when Jesus was visiting what it was
-
their village now Bethany and Mata was going up and down
-
killing about jail and so on and then marry the sister sat by
-
Jesus and Mata felt like at least I mean maybe she also
-
learned a helping hand and then said why are you there?
-
Come on, come on, join me in the kitchen.
-
I just said no, praise the name of the Lord.
-
There are many times we want to hold, we want to hold program
-
here and our women, we want to cook, OK.
-
And I'll be telling them we arrange a call, you know,
-
disturb, you know, some of them are not comfortable when I say
-
it, am I talking to somebody? Why?
-
Because so you must strike a balance.
-
You must do what? Strike a balance.
-
Ensure that you don't because you are jumping up and down now.
-
Miss out of the spiritual blessing.
-
The funny thing was that after cooking the food that the rebuke
-
matter for it went on to eat the food.
-
If it were you, you will mumble, you will grumble.
-
When Jesus is visiting, you will not cook, but anytime Jesus is
-
visiting Bethany, OK, forget it. You will always be accommodated
-
in that house and the hospitality will be top notch
-
because that's a matter that we always cook.
-
May you rub Jesus with expensive alabaster oil so I won't Benny
-
two years to car. I want to walk back with Seneca
-
Co. I won't even know that's it if
-
you know, so do save me. But when we have multitude of
-
women in our program today, what are they contributing?
-
Some noise and media? How about the charity The
-
Christmas? Am I talking to somebody when
-
Jesus met that Samaritan woman by the website and all that that
-
woman could do was to go back to the village and evangelize the
-
village. Jesus just say you are a woman.
-
Evangelization is for men. So you find women play very
-
prominent role in the ministry of Jesus.
-
When he rose from the dead, he told Mary Magdalene to go and
-
break the news of his resurrection, news of his
-
resurrection Father. Well, thank you for this is how
-
far you have helped us again today we ask alone that in our
-
own way, in our own way, we will contribute optimally to the
-
advancement of the gospel and the growth of your church.
-
In the name of Jesus, thank you Jehovah God.
-
Jesus name we pray. We believe you'll be blessed by
-
the ministry of this message. You will do well to be the doer
-
of all you've heard. For further inquiry and
