Who is this of Wisdom Bible? Church, The Church of.
-
A distance generation passion for impact is still the therapy.
-
We are running on the fourth leg on this very important
-
discussion and for today, we will focus on how to generate
-
passion. Last week we traced the root of
-
passion and we blessed God for our mummy in the house that the
-
Lord used very mightily. I was following on all the way
-
from Ibadan and it was such a wonderful session.
-
Can we appreciate God in our life?
-
So we did that last week, tracing the root of passion
-
because the ability to trace the source of the thing guarantee
-
the opportunity to assess and even possess that thing.
-
What you want to assess? What you want to possess.
-
OK, you must learn to trace its source.
-
For instance, if you know where to get fish, you will search for
-
it in the woods. Hello, who carry is gone, bows
-
and arrow into the woods, into the forest, because they want to
-
catch fish, they want to catch fish.
-
Since you are aware that fish live in waters, you go to the
-
river. I pray that you will be guided
-
by the Spirit of God. You will be led by the Spirit of
-
God to the place where your success and destiny is
-
guaranteed in the name of Jesus. So based on the earlier three
-
previous studies we have had, I think by now you should know
-
that the acts of indifference, that is people who are generally
-
disinterested on matters, the act of complacency in form of I
-
don't careless, a fair attitude, including the Big Brother of
-
them all. Indolence which you know as
-
laziness can be traced to absence of passion.
-
Where there is passion for a thing, you will not be lukewarm
-
towards that thing. Where you have passion for
-
collective sources, you will not be in the group and be passive.
-
There will not be. There will not be complacency.
-
Where you have a goal that you are pursuing now, you have
-
passion for it. Listeners and everything that
-
represents all points in the direction of listeners will not
-
be part of your attitude. So by now, from the previous
-
studies we have done, you should know that anywhere you see
-
indifference, complacency and indolence, such can be traced to
-
absence of passion. Say, Father, baptize me with the
-
Spirit of passion. Say it again, baptize me with
-
the spirit of Passion. You see to make it ultimately in
-
life you need safe motivation to make it ultimately a life you
-
need self motivation and passion is the power behind self
-
motivation. Anybody who will be self
-
motivated must be passionate. So passion is the power behind
-
self motivation about You can be an active person, but the type
-
of action that will produce the desired result must be powered
-
by the right passion. Must be powered by a passion
-
that is well channeled for positive purpose, for godly
-
purpose. Am I talking to somebody?
-
So a passion back action is the only type of action that can
-
produce the desire results and that is why today we will focus
-
on how you can generate passion. You must know fundamentally that
-
vision or put differently, purpose must precede passion.
-
Otherwise any action you take will be fruitless action.
-
So before we can talk about passion, there is always
-
something behind it, something that must come first.
-
And that thing that must come first is vision, which otherwise
-
you can call purpose. So in the step by step sequence
-
of success, you know success is built precept by precept, line
-
upon line. Success is not something
-
sporadic, OK, you build drop onto success.
-
Success don't jump on people. Am I talking to somebody?
-
So in the step by step sequence of sources, vision, which I also
-
call purpose, must precede passion.
-
Vision must precede what passion?
-
You must have a specific destination in mind.
-
That's what we mean by vision or purpose.
-
You have a specific definition in mind.
-
If you don't have a specific destination in mind, are you
-
engaged in locomotion? You are moving, you are taking
-
action. Such action will hand in mere
-
fruitless activity. So without a specific
-
destination in mind, locomotion is a mere exercise in futility.
-
I pray over your destiny. You will not label in vain in
-
the name of Jesus. You will not plant so much and
-
adverse nothing in the name of Jesus.
-
So you must have a destination in mind Before you're running up
-
and down can be meaningful and fruitful.
-
Before you're running up and down can be meaningful and
-
fruitful. You must have a specific
-
destination in mind. And that's why I'm saying vision
-
must precede passion in the step by step sequence to success.
-
Visual or purpose must precede passion.
-
So if your life will not be about motion without movement,
-
if your life will not be about activity without productivity,
-
then you must live for purpose. Tap your neighbor, say neighbor,
-
live for purpose. Tell somebody live for purpose.
-
So if your life will not just be about motion without movement,
-
if your life will not be Mr. Atlas, OK, we're engaging in
-
motion without movement. If your life will not be about
-
activity without productivity, then you must live for purpose.
-
If your energy will not be wasted, if your investment will
-
not be wasted, you must live for purpose.
-
So the focus of today's study, like I mentioned earlier, is to
-
now put in your hands tools that you can engage to generate
-
passion, tools that you can engage to generate passion.
-
And then we are going to study the life of the patriarch Jacob
-
in the Bible, how he was able to mobilize his passion and channel
-
it properly for purposeful achievement.
-
Genesis 27, we read verse 41 to 46.
-
Then we'll go to chapter 28. I will also partly read from
-
chapter 29. Are we set to go church?
-
Are we set to go So Genesis chapter 27 from verse 41 and
Genesis 27 chapter mention
-
Esau he tell Jacob because of the blessing we are with his
-
father blessed him and Esau said in his heart the days of
-
mourning for my father and then will I slay my brother Jacob.
-
So if from here Jacob will respond to the situation around
-
him, it will not be responding to vision, rather it will be
-
responding to persecution. Am I talking to somebody?
-
And that is the problem of so many destiny rather than
-
responding to vision, OK, one thing or the other has happened
-
around them that is making them to respond to persecution.
-
So you see people labour in place of prayer.
-
They're actually not labour in place of prayer to be focused in
-
life about their purpose in destiny, but rather their energy
-
is being depleted or distracted, OK Labouring on what the enemy
-
wants to do to them. As many of you that are
-
listening to me and the issues surrounding your destiny, the
-
issues that the adversities are racing against you is the reason
-
you are not living for purpose. The Lord with silence such
-
powers that are distracting you in the name of Jesus.
-
Do you understand what I'm talking about?
-
This was a man that has a great destiny ahead of him, spoke even
-
before he was born. But one thing or the other that
-
you can also not absorb him from happened.
-
You know the the way he plays some games and they offended his
-
brother, made his brother to say OK, one day when our father is
-
gone, I know what to do to him. I will slay him.
-
OK, So when you not see him running, he was not running
-
after purpose. He was running away from
-
persecution. AM I talking to somebody then
-
verse 4 through and this was of Esau our elder son were total
-
Rebecca as he sent and called Jacob our younger son and said
-
unto him, Behold thy brother Esau as touching the dot comfort
-
himself proposing to kill thee now Yeah, it's another man that
-
had a purpose but a purpose in the wrong direction, not a
-
purpose to fulfill his own destiny, but a purpose to fight
-
his brother. I pray again in the name of
-
Jesus, you will not be an instrument in the hand of the
-
devil. Your passion will not be
-
mobilized to pursue wrong purpose in the name of Jesus.
-
There was 43 now. Therefore, my son, obey my voice
-
and arise, flee down to Lebanon, my brother to Iran, and tally
-
with him a few days until thy brothers fully torn away.
-
So the mission the mother was sending him was not to go there
-
and be fulfilled, but to just escape for a moment from evil
-
and return empty handed. Waste his years in exile was
-
fortified on to thy brothers. I got turned away from thee and
-
he forget that without us done to him.
-
Then I will send and fake thee from them.
-
Why should I be deprived also of you both in one day and verse 26
-
and Rebecca said to Isaac, I am weary of my life because of the
-
daughters of heads. So she has to come up with the
-
reason that we justify his movements to exile.
-
Not necessarily that that reason he was putting up OK was
-
concrete enough a propose that Jacob should pursue.
-
Am I talking to somebody? Because as we are reading all
-
you will now see a Rebecca said. I think I am wary of my life
-
because of the daughters of em. If Jacob take a wife of the
-
daughters of em such as this, which are the daughters of the
-
land, what cool shall my life do me?
-
Then when you get to chapter 28, you will not see the way the
-
manner she went to the father and I told the father that let
-
us allow Jacob to relocate to go and get married.
-
Marriage is good but everything about life is not marriage.
-
Are you listening to me? Marriage is wonderful, but
-
everything about life is not just what married.
-
This is a this is a man that the patriarchal anointing is upon
-
him to bear responsibility, OK, for the covenant that was with
-
the grandfather Abraham, and they just wanted to reduce him
-
to just a child bearing machine. So yeah, we discovered that
-
Jacob left home without a personal destiny scripts.
-
Hello. He left home without a personal
-
destiny scripts to pursue. He left home only to carry out
-
the instruction of the model. Whatever you see Jacob doing,
-
stepping out OK was not a thing that was intentional about
-
himself, was not generated by himself.
-
For how long will you continue to live by the script written
-
for you by others? When will you sit down and
-
identify by yourself the purpose you must live your life to
-
fulfill? A godly 1.
-
He left home without even a map of his destiny, no clear
-
understanding of the map of his destiny, not a personal script
-
of the purpose he should pursue. He left home unprepared, but
-
thank God along the line, he developed the passion to
-
continue the journey because he caught a passionate vision.
-
We're going to read that in chapter 28 so that I hear
-
listening to me where you left. Oh, maybe just on the structure
-
of the father. My father want me to go to
-
school. My mother want me to study.
-
Mercy, am I talking to somebody? My uncle is ready to sponsor me
-
to go to school. Why are you in school?
-
You don't know. At the end of the schooling, to
-
what purpose and destiny will you apply your study?
-
You don't know. Are you a Hardy years upon
-
years? It is time for you to catch a
-
concrete vision that will generate passion in you to live
-
for purpose. Is that time so for Jacob, OK,
-
he left home. No personal Destiny scripts, no
-
Destiny map, he was not even prepared for where he was being
-
sent to. Even the married thing that the
-
mother cooked up, OK, it has never occurred to him that that
-
was the next purpose to pursue in Destiny.
-
But tango that along the line he was able to develop the passion
-
to continue the journey because he caught a vision.
-
That vision is so along the line became the fuel that triggered
-
his passion. Initially, as I mentioned, it
-
was merely responding to persecution.
-
Suppose persecution, it was not running towards a predetermined
-
destination. May I say to you and warn you,
-
your life should not just be based on responding to
-
persecution. Your life should not just be
-
based on responding to what the enemies, the adversary are doing
-
around you. You are wasting too much energy
-
concentrating on the enemy. Hello, rather than running
-
around because of the enemy, run towards your vision.
-
So your life should not be based on responding to provocation.
-
It should be a baronet towards a predetermined destination.
-
Can we read verse 10 to 16 of chapter 28?
-
We are moving from chapter 27 to chapter 28.
-
How the story eventually change? For Jacob, let's stay.
-
Are we there? Are we there?
-
And Jacob went out from Bathsheba and went towards Iran.
-
He level, and he lighted upon a certain place, and started there
-
all night, because the sun was said.
-
And he took off the stone of that place, and put them for
-
pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.
-
And he dreamed. And behold a ladder set up on
-
the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven.
-
And behold the angels of God ascending and descending on him.
-
And behold the law stood above it and said I am the Lord God of
-
Abraham, thy father and the God of I See the land we are on down
-
lies to thee will I give it and to thy sea.
-
Hello. That where you are going to
-
don't get there OK, and get married and become distracted.
-
There is a purpose that is higher than you just going to
-
here. And am I talking to somebody
-
now? If this encounter had not
-
happened, Jacob will have just gone there, get married, have
-
all the prosperity he had, and continue forever in that place.
-
But God was saying to him, that place where your mother is
-
sending you is just a land of preparation.
-
It is not your destination. AM I talking to somebody?
-
And I still shall be as doors of the earth, and thou shall spread
-
abroad to the West, and to the east, and to the north and to
-
the South, and in the And I see shall all the families of the
-
earth be blessed. And behold, I help with thee,
-
and we keep thee in all places without that way, and we bring
-
thee again to this land. So where you are running to is a
-
land of preparation is not your destination.
-
For I will not leave thee until I have done that which I have
-
spoken to thee of. Now at this point God is not
-
giving him a personal destiny script.
-
I will give on to thee that which I have spoken to thee of.
-
Have you come to that level in your intimacy with God, in your
-
personal relationship with God in the place of prayer, study of
-
the Word of God and meditation to be able to say that this is
-
the purpose for which God wants me to apply my talents.
-
This is my pursuit in destiny. This is my personal destiny
-
script. This is what I will leave to
-
achieve. Tell somebody again, leave for
-
purpose. I can't hear you which I have
-
spoken to the of and Jacob awake out of his sleep and he said
-
surely the law is in this place and I knew it not.
-
So from that time on. He did not wait for others
-
before he will do the needful. So shortly after that vision of
-
following that vision immediately what we saw Jacob
-
demonstrate was passion. And one of the way you identify
-
a personal demand is that it need not wait for instruction to
-
do the needful. Hello.
-
A personal person need not wait for instruction to do the
-
needful. A personal person need not wait
-
for instruction or be teleguided before we do the right thing.
-
He knows that there's the need for him to wake up early.
-
He wake up early. There's need for him to observe
-
quiet time. You observe quiet time.
-
There's the need for him to set up a schedule of what he will do
-
daily. He does all of that and he
-
ensure that without being teleguided, without being
-
monitored, he's doing the right thing by himself, for himself
-
for all that and for destiny fulfillment.
-
Chapter 29 The 1st 10 verses Then Jacob went on his journey.
-
He need not wait again. He went on and he came to the
-
land of the people of the East, and he look and behold a well in
-
the feet. And lo, there were three flocks
-
of sleep lined by he. For out of that world they
-
watered the floor, and the greystone was upon the West
-
mouth. Take note, a greystone was upon
-
the West mouth, and leader were all the flaws gathered.
-
And they rolled the stone from the West mouth, and watered the
-
sheep, and put the stone again upon the West mouth in his
-
place. And Jacob said unto them, the
-
men he met around the world, my brother, where do you come from?
-
And they said of Iran are we? And they said unto them, Know ye
-
Lebanon, the son of Naha? And they said, We know him.
-
And he said unto them, Is he well?
-
And they said It is well and beyond Rachel his daughter
-
cometh with the sheep. And he said no it is yet I pay
-
listen to the several very critical.
-
He now said to those other indifferent complacent men who
-
had sheep that are tested for water.
-
Are we together? And they allow those sheep to
-
lie there because they were not self motivated enough to lift
-
the stool. We are afraid that that world
-
will always be covered by a stone.
-
And it said to them, it is high yet high day.
-
Neither is it time that the cartoon should be gathered
-
together. Make ease answer me, I can't
-
hear you. Why the sunshine?
-
But why the sunshine? They were sleeping no passion,
-
but the man that has encountered gold that not had a vision and a
-
purpose that is living for he didn't get there and join them
-
to be whiling away when the ship should be watered.
-
He confronted and he said to them what are doing strange?
-
Why you at ease It is yet I day my brother it is yet I day my
-
sister it is yet I day this was said I will walk.
-
Why the day is still on for the night comet when no one can walk
-
but when it was I day and the ship need water.
-
This man from Iran OK they were by the West side but could not
-
lift a finger to remove the stool so that they can water the
-
animal. You have the energy now to run
-
around. What are you applying the energy
-
to? And no, it is yet I day neither
-
is it time that the cattle should be gathered together.
-
What are you, the sheep? And go and feed them.
-
And they said, look at the excuse.
-
We cannot until all the flocks be gathered together, until they
-
roll the stone from the worst mouth.
-
Whose responsibility is it? I had Mama saying to you last
-
Sunday that there are some of you, OK?
-
You live at the mercy of others. People's favor and your style
-
and attitude to life is that every other people should do
-
everything for you. You are not ready to do anything
-
either for yourself or for others.
-
Everybody man who by profession, by career are shepherd that
-
should be concerned about how to water the animal and feed the
-
animal. They kept the animal by the
-
website. They did not hold the stool
-
waiting for people who will do it for them.
-
And they said, can you see that in verse 8?
-
We cannot impossibility thinkers when there is no passion.
-
You always parade excuse when there is no passion, OK,
-
Excellence will not characterize your activity, your daily
-
living. And they said we cannot also all
-
the floss be gathered together until they roll the stone from
-
the West mouth. I will never want to allow you
-
Kutakuru. Who are those days that should
-
do it for them. Then we water the sheep and I
-
often say to you that your motto in life should not be I do my
-
best, I live the rest. Your motto in life should be
-
after you have done your best and that is small to do you have
-
the rest. So they are trying to observe,
-
observe a protocol, A protocol that we don't allow the animals
-
to be welfare, that it is some people that roll away the store.
-
Ours is to water the sheep and the person that rolled the
-
stone. If that person didn't come, your
-
animal will not be fed. Who is losing?
-
Am I talking to somebody? Can you see the sequence there?
-
I want to. Hello.
-
The fact that the people that surround you are not serious
-
does not mean you should not be serious.
-
You should be different. Tell somebody be different, tell
-
somebody be different. Let's check that.
-
Verse 20, verse 8 again, Chapter 29.
-
And they say we cannot until all the flocks be gathered together
-
until they rolled the stone from the well mouth.
-
Then we water the sheep. But yeah, they are they are
-
friendly and they are failure. We are factual negatively.
-
Why would you rush up OK, and not limit yourself to all your
-
own duty? Hide their own duty.
-
So that one if it were copied. And why he expect with them?
-
Rachel came with her father ship for she kept them.
-
Look at a woman. She had she had brother.
-
So hello. She had what?
-
Brothers. When animals were to be taken to
-
the feed, it was richer. When animals were to be water,
-
it was richer. Do nothing.
-
Elder brothers, am I talking to somebody only for them to wake
-
up late and begin to fight Jacob, who came in from nowhere
-
to replace them in terms of family business, You know, there
-
were the people that eventually conspired against Jacob.
-
They said he has taken everything that belongs to our
-
father, that would belong to their father that they did not
-
manage. They left to their sister to
-
manage. And we have some young men like
-
that in families. The only productive member of
-
the family is the daughter. What can we get back in the name
-
of Corinnewa of Corinne Lada? Hello.
-
And that's what you prefer? So why must it be rich and not
-
those brother that were later that that later were fighting
-
Jacob over sharing of family inheritance?
-
Don't forget the Yoruba poem that says I bought you local of
-
your a fool sheeta still of a stain.
-
It came to pass when Jacob saw Rachel, the daughter of Lebanon
-
is brought his mother's brother, and the sheep of Lebanon, his
-
mother's brother, that Jacob went near and rolled the stone
-
from the worst mouth. And what are the flock of
-
Lebanon? His mother's brother.
-
None of these were the duty of Jacob.
-
Hello. He was such a newcomer.
-
He was a stranger asking for direction.
-
Are you with me? But the storm that this man that
-
have been there refused to roll away.
-
What did he do? He went there.
-
He didn't even ask them to to join him, support him to do it.
-
He did it alone by himself. Now the duty of watering the
-
ship, the ships that were not even his own, he went ahead and
-
do what? What are them?
-
So what I will say, essentially we are connecting this with the
-
fact that even though he left home without a personal
-
Destiny's creep or a Destiny map along the line, he caught the
-
vision and that vision translated to passion.
-
And the way the passion manifested was the fact that
-
from that point on, he started to do the needful without any
-
external prompting. That's passion.
-
That's what passion. So we are tracing the roots of
-
passion, how to generate passion.
-
So from here we can conclude conveniently that vision,
-
otherwise known as purpose or which you can also call sense of
-
direction, was the source of Jacob's passion.
-
So vision will always come before passion.
-
Where there's no vision, there will be no passion.
-
So how do you generate passion? Let me attempt to discuss one
-
out of three today. Number one, you must discover
-
purpose and live for it. Discover purpose and do what?
-
And live for it. Where there is no purpose, there
-
will be no passion for impacts. And what is it that we call
-
vision? Vision is basically tangible
-
purpose. That's vision.
-
It's not about sleeping and dreaming dreams.
-
OK, it may, It may come that way.
-
But basically vision means tangible purpose that you are
-
living for. And that purpose of vision is
-
the reason you will choose diligence over indolence.
-
Purpose is the reason you will choose courage over despair in
-
Left home in fear. But it became both to pursue
-
destiny because it caught a vision and that vision
-
translated to passion. Purpose will compel you to pay
-
the price been demanded by sources.
-
This purpose that will make you or compel you to pay the price
-
that has been demanded by sources.
-
Purpose is the brain behind the power you need to define all
-
odds to attain sources. There are always obstacles on
-
the way to success. OK.
-
It is when you have purpose that you will now generate the power
-
that you need to define all those all before you can attain
-
sources. And without purpose, passion
-
cannot be triggered. Without purpose, passion cannot
-
be triggered. It is purpose that generate
-
passion. But we need to not ask ourselves
-
how do we develop purpose? So what are the things that can
-
generate purpose? What can we describe as the
-
stimulus for purpose? Things that can stimulate
-
purpose. Take note of this and hold it
-
tight. Purpose does not evolve.
-
Purpose does not evolve by itself.
-
Rather, purpose is informed. Purpose does not evolve by
-
itself. So purpose is not a thing that
-
metamorphosize, OK? It doesn't have X stage, sea
-
lava stage, Puppa stage and then the complete inset stage.
-
No, purpose don't evolve OK Rather purpose is informed.
-
It is not a spontaneous phenomenon, is an intentional
-
affair. It is a stimulated endeavor.
-
You have to be deliberate about life before you can live for
-
purpose. You have to be intentional about
-
wanting to achieve in life before you can have a purpose
-
that you will live for. So purpose does not evolve.
-
Purpose is informed. Purpose is not a spent
-
spontaneous phenomenon. Purpose is a stimulated
-
endeavour. And what are those things that
-
can stimulate purpose? Let's quickly run through them
-
and close for today. Stimulus of purpose, number one,
-
is information. That's why I said purpose does
-
not evolve. Purpose is informed.
-
You must have had it said over and over again that if you are
-
not informed you will be deformed.
-
Have you had it said before? If you are not informed, you
-
will be what you will be deformed?
-
So #1 symbol of purpose is information.
-
But I want to hardly write that to that popular saying.
-
If you are not informed, you will be informed that if you are
-
deformed, you cannot perform. It is said that if you are not
-
informed, you will be deformed. But I am adding a writer to it
-
that if you are now deformed because you are not informed,
-
you will not be able to perform. In life, nobody can operate
-
above the level of information that is available to him.
-
So whatever you can do to have the right information about life
-
because it will have to stimulate purpose.
-
OK, Please do your best to be informed.
-
Tell your neighbor, do your best to be informed.
-
I can't hear that sister. I can't hear that Mama.
-
Let me hear that Father. Do your best to be want to be
-
informed and I will point to you directions or how good from
-
which you can gain the right information.
-
Number one education #2 inspiration.
-
So you obtain information by education.
-
I describe education as the natural route to purpose, the
-
natural route to information. Education.
-
Then inspiration is virtual link to information.
-
Are we together? The natural route to information
-
is education. The spiritual roots that is road
-
or link to information is inspiration.
-
So that information you seek by practical means is education.
-
The one you seek by spiritual means is revelation.
-
Hello, do you understand the two dimensions?
-
Now? The natural Rd. you travel to to
-
obtain information is through education.
-
The spiritual route to obtain information is what inspiration.
-
So whether you are now get it by education or by revelation, the
-
important thing is that information is key to destiny
-
pursuit. Information is very key to
-
destiny pursuit. When you see a man that you call
-
an activist that cannot watch injustice, it is because he has
-
education. There is no ignore Amos who is a
-
freedom fighter. When you see somebody rise up
-
and fight against injustice and defend the oppressed, there is
-
an information he has that others don't have.
-
There's a perspective to life that they ask that others don't
-
have. If you live in ignorance, they
-
will be cheating you. I will not know that you are
-
being cheated. Am I talking to somebody?
-
So an activist can stand up against injustice because he has
-
education. If you have education, you will
-
hate intimidation. So if you enjoy intimidation, I
-
query the quality of your education.
-
I query the Genuity of your education.
-
If you are passive and indolent, if our happenings around you and
-
you can ask responsible question and seek the right answer.
-
I query the kind of education you are parading.
-
Am I talking to somebody? Ditto for spiritual revelation.
-
If you have it, you will escape frustration.
-
If you are spiritual revelation, you will not be comfortable
-
around mediocrity, and it will help you to escape frustration.
-
You see, those who succumb easily to intimidation are
-
without passion because they lack information.
-
If you succumb easily to intimidation, you succumb easily
-
to injustice, you succumb easily to poverty, you succumb easily
-
to anything less than excellent is a pointer to the fact that
-
you lack passion because you are not operating by the right
-
information #2 stimulus of purpose is observation.
-
You recollect that in one of the previous session we had, there
-
was this terminal testimony given by Dickness Ulubenga on
-
how she observed a head passionate episode 1 to dress is
-
wound and from that day on she developed passion for the
-
nursing profession and today is an excellent nurse.
-
Praise the name of the Lord by what observation?
-
But many of us, OK, we don't even take note of our
-
environment, the scarcity in our environment, the abundance in
-
our environment. That's what there is a thing you
-
can do about this scarcity in your environment and lead to
-
lead you to prosperity. There's something you can do
-
about the abundance in your environment, OK, and lead you to
-
become a manager of resources. Am I talking to somebody?
-
So wisdom is the form of education you don't pay school
-
fees to assess. If you are a master of managing
-
your observation, you gain wisdom that you don't pay school
-
fees to assess. Church are we together?
-
So when look at we know, we know, we know.
-
Go. Are you following the logic?
-
So that is that form of education.
-
You don't pay school fees to assess and it is called wisdom.
-
And one of the way to assess that level of education is that
-
you are a person that observe and you make good out of your
-
observation. All you need to do that is to
-
have a teachable heart and you master the act of learning by
-
observation. You learn by observation.
-
You see somebody doing well, OK, and you query what is he doing
-
differently? You may not even move closer to
-
that person from a distance. You observe and you gain.
-
You clean wisdom from that person.
-
You see somebody failing and you see and you take a decision by
-
looking at his life and the trajectory of where he's heading
-
to. And you avoid and say, this is
-
not the type of person I can move with just by mere critical
-
world observation. But if you are not a master of
-
observation, OK, you will leave. You will, you will leave the
-
person that can help your destiny.
-
And you also say with the person that will ruin your destiny.
-
The third one, inspiration, if you are not inspired, you will
-
easily retire from the center of action.
-
We are not inspired, you easily retire from the centre of
-
action. It is passion that keeps a man
-
in the centre of action without losing interest.
-
If you start and finish strong and you will not lose steam, you
-
must be regularly inspired. So what is the source of your
-
inspiration? How close are you to the Bible
-
to draw inspiration? How much of your pastor's
-
message you listen to after Sunday to draw information that
-
will give you the energy OK to stay strong in the race?
-
Because outside there are there are many discouraging factors.
-
Am I talking to somebody? So it is passion that keeps a
-
man the center of action without losing interest.
-
And you must be divided, connected by having a rich
-
personal life or devotion through the story of the Word of
-
God and by meditation to stay inspired.
-
So that brings me to the fourth stimulus of purpose, meditation.
-
Meditation. The number one thing we mention
-
is what? Answer me #2 #3 and #4 Moses
-
told Joshua. This book of the law studies.
-
Meditate on it day and night. Do what you have learned from
-
me. And if you do that, what would
-
be the end result? Good success, Good success,
-
Success with quality, success that will challenge others.
-
Now, meditation life is a mixed bag of motivation and
-
discouragement. In fact, the happenings around
-
us that motivate joy, they are happy around us that inspire
-
positivity are not so much available by your personal
-
meditation. You can sort out issues and sift
-
out those. That can poison your.
-
Mind, that's what is one of the things you do by meditation.
-
Hello. Meditation is not about
-
negative. Thinking, OK, it's about putting
-
the old issues around you together.
-
Are you able to sort them out? The one that will serve like a
-
poison to your mind. You trust them.
-
Many of you don't know how to trust negative thoughts.
-
You dwell on them. And I said to you in life, if
-
you want. To be among the smartest in
-
life, then you must engage your mind in meditation.
-
Meditative people are the smartest people you always
-
encounter and that is why. When people.
-
Misbehave. Have you had?
-
It said. Before in Yoruba, when people.
-
All the time. Hello my all the time.
-
I keep on saying it, Are you everybody like they would say in
-
this part of the world? Everybody.
-
What do you think? They give you your personal
-
name. You know why we go there?
-
Just to distinguish you. And the last?
-
Before I draw the curtain, today is irritation.
-
Irritation. As it applied to the.
-
Regular function. Of the biological system.
-
So it applied to Destiny Pursuit.
-
Who said they did Barbados or say they did Barbados or say
-
they did nothing irritates you. What manner of person are you?
-
What about? What can say you?
-
See those people you see as activists?
-
What inform their passion is irritation.
-
So more often than not, activists develop passion for
-
advocacy because they cannot stand up pressure.
-
They cannot stand up pressure the room you.
-
Want to sleep is smoky. OK, and you are not even feeling
-
it and let people begin to ask. You are sleeping in this house.
-
Am I talking to somebody? AM I talking to somebody?
-
Do you know if there's? A false man around you, whether
-
you passive or you don't passive it something.
-
Will you take your test board? Am I?
-
Talking to somebody. But why you?
-
Don't engage your irritation, OK?
-
Anything, any a life of anything goes.
-
Please instead of. Lamentation.
-
Choose Confrontation. And the way you can.
-
Do that is where you develop your capacity for irritation let
-
failure. Irritate you?
-
AM I talking to somebody? Don't be.
-
Comfortable with failure or failure, they commit an
-
assignment. To your hand you are not
-
produced in. Banana Uncle life continue.
-
You will not see that and say, OK, what do I do differently so
-
that this kind of failure will know I will not repeat it.
-
Children. OK, you you break.
-
Up. OK, I say.
-
They also broke it last week and that didn't say anything.
-
No remorse. So instead of lamentation,
-
choose confrontation. And there is what we are happy
-
to do that is where you engage in the teacher.
-
The difference between activity and other member of that is that
-
order can only more more. Are you with me?
-
But the activists have. Passion, Passion to make sure
-
that everything goes well for everybody and I.
-
Conclude by saying. In life you.
-
Will experience things that irritate?
-
You and I call those things garbage.
-
And you need to manage them because if you can.
-
Manage your garbage. It will produce garbage.
-
You know what cabbage is as I'm a church, you know.
-
What cabbage is? OK, and by the time you use your
-
garbage as Manor for cabbage, your cabbage will do well.
-
So engage the things that irritate you.
-
Turn them to manure that will inspire you to go for greatness.
-
God bless you. We believe you'll be blessed by
-
the ministry. Of this message you will do well
-
to be the duer of all you've heard.
