-
Have your seat in His presence. We are still taking lessons on
-
friendship and if you have followed critically, you will
-
discover that why we are teaching or dwelling on the
-
teachings of Christ of friendship.
-
We are drawing our examples from the Old Testament, so that will
-
tell you something about the structure of the Bible.
-
If you examine your Bible critically, you will observe
-
that you have more of history of people and nations in the Old
-
Testament. Yes, you have historical books
-
in the New Testament 2 but more about the history, genealogy of
-
Jesus Christ and the history of the church.
-
Praise the name of the Lord. So, and that is why it's been
-
very convenient for us since the topic we are dealing with is
-
about people. So we are taking the teachings
-
from the teachings of Christ in the New Testament and drawing
-
are examples as it relates to people from the Old Testament,
-
which is more, which has more of history of people and nations
-
for a start. Today, it's also important that
-
I let you know that every teaching session is a dining
-
spiritual session, or a spiritual dining session rather.
-
Every teaching session is a spiritual dining session and
-
that is why we call this meeting this particular Congress or
-
convocation of God's people. Every early hour of Sundays
-
leaders break fast. So every teaching session is a
-
feeding session where we feast on the Word of God to make us
-
fit for the rest of life onto eternity.
-
The law we perform is good purpose in your life.
-
As I bring the counsel of God again this morning in the name
-
of Jesus, then why is it important that the man standing
-
on any pulpit must be apartment to teach?
-
The scripture says a pastor must be apartment to teach.
-
One of the ways you can tell if your pastor is indeed a shepherd
-
is by the compassion he expresses.
-
One of the ways you can tell if your pastor is indeed a shepherd
-
is by the compassion he expresses.
-
Mark 634 and Jesus when he came out so much people and was moved
-
with compassion towards them. So being the Good Shepherd, when
-
he saw the multitude of the people and he can see through
-
into their condition, he can see through into their lacks, he can
-
see through into the situations they were going through.
-
The response of Jesus was that of compassion.
-
He was moved with compassion towards them because they were a
-
sheep, not having a shepherd. Now their problem, they have
-
different symptoms. Are you with me?
-
But the root cause why the problems were there in the first
-
instance was because they were sheep without word shepherd.
-
And so as the Good Shepherd having diagnosed what the
-
problem was, he stepped in. And the first function, the
-
first role he played by stepping in OK, was what we have in the
-
last part of that Scripture and began to teach them many things.
-
Can you see the relationship between the shepherd, compassion
-
and the teaching ministry? Am I talking to somebody?
-
So he dragonized properly that the reason they were in their
-
bad condition was because the large shepherd and as a Good
-
Shepherd, when he stepped in, he started to teach them.
-
Don't forget I said every teaching session is a feeding
-
session, is a spiritual dining session.
-
So in other words, when scriptures say he began to teach
-
them is he began to feed them, he began to give them food that
-
would nourish them. Praise the name of the Lord,
-
praise the name of the Lord. So one of the way you can tell
-
if your pastor is indeed a shepherd is by the compassion he
-
expresses. And the first fighter sign of
-
that expression is the recognition of your spiritual
-
needs. No, those multitude of people
-
that were there, OK, they may not even know that their
-
greatest need is a shepherd. Those who are physically hungry,
-
we think food is their problem. Those who have one's bodily
-
sickness or the other, or those who have material life would
-
think that was their problem, whereas their real problem is
-
that they lack a shepherd who will feed them with the Word of
-
God and by the nourishment they gain from the feeding from the
-
Word of God. If we address those problems I
-
pray in the name of Jesus as I come here constantly declaring
-
the mind of God to you and as we are feeding on the word of God.
-
It will address all of your situations.
-
I said the word of God we capable to address all of your
-
situations in the name of Jesus. I'm saying this that you should
-
not get tired, OK, of being taught again and again many
-
things the scriptures say and Jesus have been recognized that
-
they were multitude that lack is shepherd.
-
He stepped into their situation and he began to teach them many
-
things say Lord, I am here, I am available to be taught many
-
things and of course there are many things that you need to
-
know. So the first fact, as I am of
-
the expression of the compassion of the Shepherd after Christ's
-
manner is the recognition of your spiritual name.
-
And then the second that now follow is the recognition of
-
your physical needs. And then the response that a
-
Good Shepherd we give to the 2 needs, OK, we also follow in
-
that sequence. We also follow in that word in
-
that sequence. Let's push back that same gospel
-
to Saint Mark chapter 6. Maybe we should take the reading
Mark 6 chapter mention
-
from verse 30. And the apostles gather
-
themselves together onto Jesus and told him all things, both
-
what they are done and what they are taught.
-
Now the disciples that Jesus brought to himself, he taught
-
them. After teaching them, he sent
-
them out to teach others. And as they went teaching
-
others, science, wonders and miracles were happening.
-
And then asked him to report back to Jesus what they had
-
experienced. Then vested one, and he said
-
unto them, Come ye yourself apart into a desert, into a
-
desert, please, and rest a while.
-
For there were many coming and going, and they had no less so
-
much as to eat. See, this one was so consumed,
-
OK, and baptized into the spirit of the Word of God, that
-
physical food really did not matter to them.
-
And they departed into a desert place by sheep privately in
-
verse 33, And the people saw them departing, and many knew
-
him and ran our food either out of our city and outwent them and
-
came together on to him. It was then that Jesus now saw
-
this much people in verse 34 and then was moved with compassion.
-
There was a clear gap between this multitude and the
-
disciples. Are you with me now?
-
This discip? The story started with the
-
disciples that had been with him, that had been taught by
-
him, that I grew to the level whereby they have even become
-
teachers of others. But there are a set of new
-
people, majority huge number that came, who have not had that
-
opportunity of intimacy with Jesus and to have gone through
-
his school of discipleship. And so he was moved with
-
compassion towards them that their own condition can also
-
change for the better. And then he knew that they had
-
other needs. He knew that they have different
-
reasons why they have no migrated to Him to follow up
-
time to pick one miracle or the other.
-
But Jesus stepped all that down and started to teach them
-
because He knew that if they received the teachings, those
-
teachings will address their other problems.
-
Am I talking to somebody? But today multitude love to go
-
to places where they isolate their problem, OK for attention,
-
rather than give attention to the teaching of the Word of God
-
that will eventually address other issues.
-
So Jesus as a Good Shepherd, he responded force to their
-
spiritual need and then follow up with their physical need.
-
You will, if you now push the reading further, you will now
-
discover that after they have made themselves available to be
-
taught, they never complain. Are you with me?
-
It was Jesus, they were so engrossed in the teachings of
-
Jesus Christ that they were hungry and they were not aware.
-
It was the disciple that I came up and said now that if the evil
-
has come and this will be going back, we observed that they are
-
already tired and they need food.
-
So and in that order Jesus now performed the miracle of
-
multiply bread, but before the miracle of multiplying bread and
-
fish, he force sat them down and taught them.
-
Are you ready to be taught? If you are ready to be taught
-
that you become great in the Kingdom in the name of Jesus?
-
So Christ, like pastoral compassion, is not expressed by
-
pity, but by teaching what is helpful to the congregation.
-
So the foundation I'm laying today, okay, is for you to
-
appreciate better the reason we are giving ourselves to teaching
-
you many things. Are you with me?
-
So crash, like pastoral compassion is not expressed by
-
pity, but by teaching what is helpful to the congression.
-
You now discover that this was later follow up with performing
-
the miracle of multiplying bread and feast.
-
But the first thing he did was to feed them with the word of
-
God. So talk to your neighbor either
-
close to you or from a distance. Welcome to today's feeding
-
session. I can hear you say it.
-
Are you salivating already? Are you salivating already?
-
God will satisfy your hunger in the name of Jesus.
-
Now let us take a step back into last week.
-
We take a step back into last week.
-
It has been, I mean the focus has been Jesus discipleship
-
model of friendship and how you can rise by proper behavior, OK,
-
to become friends to people of higher hierarchy.
-
Just as Jesus looked at disciple one day and he said at this
-
moment by the reason of the teachings you have accepted and
-
how much you have grown, OK, I no longer call you servants.
-
You are now my friends. I no longer call you disciple,
-
but you are my friend. And we have been looking at the
-
example of how Eliaza of Damascus, a servant in the
-
house, rose to become a confidant, OK, a covenant career
-
of the spiritual heritage of Father Abraham's family.
-
So we are still taking back into that study particularly because
-
we have committed to paralleling lots and Iliasa so that you can
-
pick from these two which type of brother, sister you want to
-
be. So a step back into last week's
-
study reveals that Uncle lots less than honorable behavior.
-
So the behaviour of Lords can be described as one that is less
-
than honourable. So it's less than honourable
-
behaviour carried incalculable negative generational
-
consequences. And we're going to explore that
-
today. Remember, he chose the plane of
-
Pseudo and forfeited the plan of God.
-
He chose the plain of Sodom. He forfeited the plan of God.
-
He mingled with a society that are not in any way related to
-
his covenant prospects in destiny for the fact that Father
-
Abraham picked him and embark on the journey that God has
-
instructed him to embark on with him when it was not mandatory
-
upon father Abraham to do so gave him the opportunity to be
-
introduced into the covenant heritage of father Abraham
-
lineage. Are we together.
-
So which means he had a lot of prospects, lot of prospects in
-
that covenant equation. Then when you now examine him by
-
the wrong decision he took to disengage from Father Abraham,
-
you will notice that he eventually got married.
-
The probing question is from which land did you think he got
-
married from? Because we have an historical
-
trend of where father Abraham married from, an historic trend
-
of where Isaac married from, an historic trend of where Jacob
-
married from. There's no such record about
-
Lords if he told Dena Lutin Yahoo.
-
We are trying to explore the incalculable negative
-
generational consequences that is wrong choice brought upon his
-
posterity. So he most probably got his wife
-
from among the people that I was that the land God called Abraham
-
to live. It's part of the fact that he
-
was so privileged to be taken along by Father Abraham and also
-
follow after the pattern and godly lifestyle of Father
-
Abraham. So we're not taught specifically
-
from among which nations of people he marry from, but
-
certainly there is no record that he went back to his kinsmen
-
to get a wife according to the pattern established by Father
-
Ibrahim. Then raising of his children, he
-
raised his daughters even among these people, the people of
-
Sodom that were engaging in abhorrent practices.
-
So he raised his daughters among them, such that despite being
-
virgins in an ungodly land, those lady tried so much, but
-
they did not have either a father or a mother that helped
-
them. Because if the manner of
-
iniquity that is recorded about Sodom and Gomorrah was what we
-
have, and those guests who stays who stay as fetching up to the
-
moment when Sodom and Gomorrah will be destroyed.
-
Indeed those ladies were virtuous, but in spite of that,
-
the place chosen. By their father to live still
-
eventually had negative influence on their destiny.
-
The problem we don't know or most parents don't know, is that
-
the choices they are making today OK.
-
Whether I turn out well or turn out the other way is not only
-
about them, it's also about the future of their children.
-
The simple decision of we are Lord OK, we put in shock, we are
-
in, we practice his trade is what has brought these
-
consequences. Am I talking to somebody We know
-
it's about we are in in looked up and saw the plane of sudo
-
that it was good for commerce. It didn't factor in what is the
-
spiritual condition of the land that was good for commerce.
-
Am I talking to somebody that is and that is your view of so many
-
parents that are just about financial fortune.
-
You don't consider what is the spiritual climate, What is the
-
spiritual environment? What kind of influence the place
-
you are choosing to dwell will have on your children?
-
So this virtuous godly daughters eventually succumbed on that
-
situational pressure to a method of procreation that was even
-
worse than the one being practiced by the accost people.
-
What did they do? They made their father to sleep
-
with them. You know when eventually the
-
Angel came and pulled lots out of Sodom and Gomorrah so that it
-
will not be destroyed. The Bible mentioned to us that
-
the wife look back even when they have been instructed to run
-
out of that land and never look back.
-
The wife look back and she became a pillar of salt while
-
the why did she look back? She looked back because she
-
prioritized material things over her soul, over the salvation of
-
our life and of our family because when they were living,
-
they have so much weight in that line.
-
When they were living, they were living with nothing.
-
So on our mind where the ghosts and the jewelries, all the
-
collections she had hey. And in the process, she did what
-
she looked back. Number one negative consequence
-
of the choice or the number two negative consequence of the
-
choice of father, Lord, a woman he chose.
-
A woman that prioritise her physical beauty above the
-
prosperity of her soul, above the salvation of her life and
-
that of her and that of her family.
-
She looked back then the angels now pointed.
-
Lords go to the Monty. Lord said no.
-
So my Lord, let me go to the play now.
-
By the time we will get to the play it, you know when there is
-
danger. When there's danger you should
-
know that a right thinking person will run to the mountain.
-
Are you with me? When there is danger, either
-
fire or flood, whatever the danger is you are server on the
-
mountain than in the plane. But Lords chose to go to work to
-
the plane and he got to the plane.
-
By the time he got to the plane, he discovered that nobody was
-
there with him. Every other I think person have
-
run to the Monty. Am I talking to somebody In the
-
first instance? He was not supposed to be told
-
to run to the Monty. When fire is spreading, it's
-
easier for the fire to burn in the plane.
-
OK, that will climb the mountain.
-
Even if it will climb the mountain, it will take much
-
time. Am I talking to somebody?
-
And if it is flawed, the same. But yet he was being told the
-
right thing. OK.
-
Meanwhile giddy occur. He was choosing his own way
-
above godly cancer. Is that not your situation too?
-
What value did you put on godly cancer, Godly advice, godly
-
instruction, and for every wrong decision you are seeing the the
-
messy outcome. And yet you continue to follow
-
that same path of evil, that same path that is destroying
-
your life. That same path, OK, that is
-
making you retrogressive instead of progressing in destiny.
-
So a situational pressure now came up.
-
And what was the situational pressure?
-
There was nobody around, OK, that we marry these guys and I
-
was no more than a gay, OK to stand there and give them the
-
right can say. And all of these were coming up
-
because of the wrong choices of the father.
-
So the lady concluded among themselves in their navity that
-
is this how we are going to continue and die without our own
-
children. Let's get our father drunk, OK?
-
And they make they get him drunk.
-
The first night the senior sister slept with the father got
-
pregnanted. The second night the younger
-
sister slept with the father. OK got pregnant and the risk
-
pastor generation. So he raised his daughter among
-
the pseudomites so that despite being virgins in an ungodly
-
land, this lady eventually succumbed on that situational
-
prayer to a method of progression that was a cause
-
they made their father to sleep with them.
-
Now, what were the covenant prospects that Father Uncle Lot
-
bungled? Let's prove that more because of
-
his many wrong choices, starting with choosing to disengage from
-
Father Abraham #1 his session with Father Abraham gave him the
-
opportunity of becoming the potential manager of Father
-
Abraham estates. We read in Genesis 24.
-
That's why Father Abraham was trusting the Lord both in
-
Genesis 15 and Genesis 24. Why was he trusting the Lord?
-
He appointed Eliza of Damascos the manager of his estate.
-
And we also saw that the first person that will have fallen
-
into that office of honorable responsibility was not because
-
why it was with Father Abraham. Father Abraham allowed him to
-
have his own flock and also have his own servant, so he had no
-
reason whatsoever OK to make the kind of choice he made.
-
But by that wrong choice he lost that prospect of becoming the
-
potential manager of Father Hebron estate #2 he lost
-
personal prosperity. Because whatever he got from
-
Father Adam and Abraham and he took to the Plain of Sodom, and
-
whatever he multiplied in the Plain of Sodom were eventually
-
destroyed by fire. So he lost personal prosperity
-
#3 You also lost protection under the patriarchal blessing
-
of Father Abraham, because at a point some enemy came and
-
conquered him, took him a slave, collected everything that he
-
had. It was his father Abraham again
-
that someone, the servant of his house that have been trained in
-
warfare to pursue after the enemy, to rescue Lords and
-
recover everything that was stolen from him.
-
So if he were under the covering of Father Abraham, the enemy
-
wouldn't have messed up with him to the extent of capturing him
-
as his slave. So he lost his freedom to become
-
a slave until the mercy of God and the compassion that Father
-
Abraham had towards him got him rescued.
-
I said last week that if your your divine conference is in a
-
village, you better stay there then move to the city where the
-
company will be removed and your destiny will be in danger.
-
Then he lost permanent, I mean permanent connection to the
-
Abrahamic Covenant. And that is another area we are
-
going to prove properly do. There was a mention of it when
-
we're doing the reflection last week.
-
And that permanent, permanent connection will have come by a
-
possible marriage between one of those daughters and Isaac.
-
Are you with me? If he has stayed in the state
-
with Abraham and not moved to the plain of Sudo, there's a
-
possibility, very high possibility, that Isaac will
-
have married one of those daughters.
-
I mean, I can't. You can put me through again.
-
No. Isaac will have married one of
-
the daughters of Lords. Are we OK?
-
Are you following me? Asik will have probably most
-
probably marry one of the daughters of Lot.
-
And then if again the time he had issue with the destruction
-
of Sodom and Gomorrah and the Angel said move to the mountain,
-
maybe after the trouble was over, he now decided to return
-
back to Father Abraham. Because the destruction of Sodom
-
and Gomorrah happened in chapter 19.
-
The decision for who will marry, I mean who will Isaac marry came
-
up in chapter 24. Are you following the sequence?
-
So assuming in chapter 19 he reunited with Father Abraham,
-
there may not be any need for Father Abraham asking alias of
-
Damascus to travel very far again to go and get a wife for
-
Isaac. Because the priority and the
-
concern of Father Abraham is that Isaac, my son, should marry
-
from our lineage and not marry from among the foreigners.
-
Am I talking to somebody? So he lost permanent connection
-
to the Abrahamic covenant through a possible marriage
-
between Isaac and any one of his daughters.
-
However, by his wrong choices he bungled all this.
-
He disengaged prematurely. His wrong choice led to a number
-
of many messy outcome. He became vulnerable to the
-
enemy's attack. He was captured by the enemies.
-
The daughters stayed single because they could not marry
-
homosexual Sodom men. Hello.
-
Up to the point where the Angel came to Sodom, those daughters
-
were described as virgins. Are you with me?
-
So they stayed pure because they could not marry homosocial Sodom
-
men. However, when all hope was lost
-
due to the wrong choices of the father, AOB hear me, hear me
-
well. Parents hear me, hear me well
-
again. The choices you are making
-
today, the consequences of them, will not only be about you, it
-
will also be about these children.
-
So out of desperation his daughters got him drunk.
-
I made them father their children.
-
You'll find out in Genesis chapter 19.
Genesis 19 chapter mention
-
That story is captured in verse 30 to 38.
-
Whereas these daughters of Lords should be Abraham first
-
consideration as wife to Isaac. And I'll prove that because by
-
the time Isaac was right for marriage in Genesis 24, they
-
were already defined by their father.
-
And of course, by the marriage standard of that era, Isaac was
-
free to marry any of Lot's daughters.
-
Isaac mother Sarah was that for all half sister to father
-
Abraham, you know, in many places in the journey of Father
-
Hebram. OK, when he perceived that
-
there's going to be a problem or a contention over Sarah, he will
-
not introduce Sarah as my wife. He will rather introduce Sarah
-
as sister. And he was not lying because
-
Sarah was Father Hebram after half sister.
-
She was the daughters of Abrams father from another mother.
-
You can find out in Genesis chapter 20 verse 12 where I said
-
point blank that Sarah was my sister do not the daughter of my
-
mother but the daughter of my father.
-
So by the marriage standard of that era, it was permissible for
-
Isaac to marry any of Lord's daughters.
-
So we can therefore say that it was perhaps due to in
-
availability of Lord's daughters that Abraham had to send Eliza
-
to go back to another of his kinsmen, the man named Betwell,
-
the son of Naho, Abraham's brother.
-
So the father of Rebecca, OK is Betwell, and is the son of now
-
OK, and now his brother to Abraham.
-
And it was living farther away, and that was from there that
-
Eliza had to source for Rebecca. So this era of Lords became
-
compounded and it emanated from a simple but costly error of
-
judgment of disconnecting from his destiny helper.
-
Whereas the opponent was open to him to occupy the office of the
-
heir to Hebram when Isaac was still being awaited, but he did
-
not see that vacuum to occupy it.
-
So he made many wrong choices that turn out with mercy
-
outcomes. I pray in the name of Jesus
-
decisions that we take, I will produce mercy outcome.
-
The Spirit of God will direct you away from such decisions in
-
the name of Jesus. No Imagine if Isaac had married
-
any of those wonderful daughters, even Jacob.
-
OK, when he was to get married Rebecca came up.
-
I said go to Laba my brothers house.
-
That is where you should marry the you should marry from.
-
So from our study of our Elias of Damascus rose to become a
-
confidant of Father Abraham, we can deduce that friendship is an
-
institution born by long time interaction.
-
Friendship is an institution borne by long time interaction,
-
the type that is characterized by loyalty.
-
That was what Lot lacked, but ilias I had in abundance.
-
So friendship is an institution borne by long time interaction
-
characterized by loyalty and not just mere cultural connection.
-
So that was why Abraham didn't bother looking for Lords I hand
-
over to him. OK, He had to hand over to
-
Ilyasa of Damascus that has fulfilled that condition of long
-
time interaction. Characterized by what?
-
Loyalty. So friendship, OK, that will
-
make you rise OK to the level whereby you benefit from both
-
the horizontal blessing that come from friendship and the
-
fatika blessing that come from being friends to people of
-
higher Iraqi does not follow cultural connection line.
-
It follow long time interaction line that is characterized by
-
loyalty. It is never a short time
-
spontaneous event. It's never what a short time
-
spontaneous event? How much are we going to say?
-
Abraham knew about lots because it is engaged to Ali.
-
Are we together? Are we together?
-
The sale boy OK is more trusted than you by your uncle and you
-
will commit so much responsibility to him and then
-
you'll be complaining and grumbling behind that.
-
My uncle did not like me. Your uncle did not like will not
-
Will not. He likes you, he loves you, OK,
-
but you have not satisfied the condition of long time
-
interaction characterized by loyalty that can make him to
-
have been able to prove and test you so that he can now commit
-
his estate unto you. Are you with me?
-
You just want to count on cultural connection to get it.
-
It doesn't follow that way. So Elias has stayed long enough
-
to be regarded as the Eddest, Eddest son of the House of
-
Abraham. And then you will also read from
-
that account in Genesis 24 that it took Abraham a 10 year old
-
age before assigning him the most critical assignment of
-
getting a wife for Isaac. Genesis 24 the 1st 2 verses
-
again. And Abraham was who were
-
striking in age and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.
-
And Abraham said on to is eldest servant of his house.
-
There were other servants there. Are you with me?
-
Lord was not yet dead. But this responsibility can't go
-
to any short time servant and it can't go to the cultural line of
-
the Lords. OK, that was not stable.
-
Are we together? It has to go to the earlier
-
Sabbath of his house that rule over all that he had.
-
And of course, as we try to wind down to continue next week.
-
This aligned perfectly with our Lord Jesus Christ in the way he
-
also handled the progressive development of his disciple to
-
the point where he said at this point I will not just regard you
-
as disciple, but I will call you my friend.
-
So this aligned perfectly with our logistics.
-
Christ Mulder who took his time before he designated his
-
disciples as friends. It took him so more time before
-
he designated them as a friend In 1515 of Gospel account to
-
Saint John Hensford. I call you not servants, for the
-
servant knew it not. What is Lord?
-
Do it now. That's your uncle's business
-
that you want him to entrust to you.
-
How much do you know about how he's doing it?
-
But I have called you friends for all things that I have heard
-
of my father, I have made known unto you.
-
Then when we parallel this with the time he designated them a
-
post to, you will discover that it didn't take him so much time
-
before he designed them a post to.
-
But it took him time before he designated them as friends.
-
That again bothers the facts. OK or confirm my position that
-
the highest form of interpersonal relationship is
-
what is friendship wasn't work or lose or what opposed to am I
-
talking to somebody. So please know that it did not
-
take him so much time or so much time to designate them as
-
opposed to Luke 613. And when it was dead, he called
-
on to him his disciples and of them he chose 12 whom your whom
-
also he named apostles. That happened very highly in his
-
ministry. Am I talking to somebody?
-
So it's important that you now know this related to your office
-
OK of service is different from your office of God's confidence.
-
So be an apostle, pastor, evangelist, Esteria.
-
All these are service level relationship.
-
They are only present to friendship level relationship.
-
I'm a pastor, I'm an evangelist, I'm an apostle, I am a dicky.
-
All of these, they are service level relationship, they are
-
only president to friendship level relationship.
-
So you can come into those offices, OK where you are here
-
to be a friend of God. You will notice that not all
-
patriarchs of faith operated at the friends at the friendship
-
level with God. Not all patriarchs operated at
-
the friendship level with God. I pray that we so grew that God
-
will be able to trust us OK to the degree that will become his
-
friends in the name of Jesus. So in the same manner that not
-
all patrias rose to the level of being friend with God, not all
-
pastors operate at the friendship level with God.
-
Not all pastor operate at the friendship level with God.
-
After Abraham. We have to wait and it was Moses
-
time before we have another friend of God.
-
Go read your Bible critically after Abraham.
-
We have to wait until it was Moses time before we had another
-
friend of God, Not Jacob, not Isaac.
-
I think that friendship status, why it is never a cultural
-
inheritance. I said that already when we are
-
looking at Lords Iliaza Ibrahim that it didn't follow the
-
cultural connection line. Are we together?
-
So friendship is never a cultural inheritance, rather
-
friendship is learning and loyalty based.
-
Someone O3 verse 7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts
-
unto the children of Israel. 2 clear categories of relationship
-
with God, the one that know his way and the order that is just
-
either a beneficiary or a spectator of his acts.
-
And you can fall into any category.
-
OK, but I pray over my destiny I will fall into the Moses
-
category. I will know the ways of the law.
-
Hello, Jesus is a miracle worker, but it's also the way,
-
the truth and the life. So do you know Him as the way,
-
the truth and the life? Or you only experience Him as a
-
miracle worker, as one that give you bread, as the one that hands
-
out your prayer? Or do you know Him as the way,
-
the truth and life? You are safe.
-
Far from starting the journey of becoming a friend of God, He
-
made known His ways unto Moses. No wonder Moses who can become a
-
miracle worker. He could pass the rest his acts
-
unto the children of Israel. They needed protein, oh quirky,
-
they needed food. Manner in down their water was
-
bitter. So they were either spectators
-
of the wonders of God or partakers of the wonders of God.
-
They didn't know the way of God. Even those that were companions
-
to Moses, OK, one day they stood up and said, is it only Moses
-
that God is speaking to? We are also prophet and God say
-
well OK, in this Kingdom there are men and there are boys.
-
The men's know the ways of God. The boys, the girls, they only
-
see the hearts or experience the hearts.
-
Numbers 12 and Miriam and Aaron spake against Moses, that's this
-
one, because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married, for
-
he had married an Ethiopian woman.
-
And they said, had the Lord indeed spoken only by Moses?
-
Are they not spoken also by us? And the Lord had it.
-
I said to you already that not all patriarchs rose to the
-
level, not all matriarchs rose to the level of becoming a
-
friend to God. In the same way, not all pastor
-
operate at the level of friendship with God.
-
Service level relationship is different from friendship level
-
relationship. So they were at the service
-
level relationship and they were comparing themselves with a man
-
that has rushed to the level of friendship relationship.
-
And they said had the Lord spoken only by Moses?
-
Had he not spoken also by us? And the Lord had it.
-
Please young man, when God start to move you, I started to know
-
to operate in some levels, OK, those babas OK, because they
-
don't have so much energy to jump up and down the way you are
-
jumping off. Be very careful.
-
You may not have attained the level by which they are
-
operating we go. They may not have your charisma.
-
In fact, they may lack your kind of popularity, OK, but the kind
-
their own kind of route has grown deeper, deeper, deeper
-
down there, though you have grown taller.
-
Am I talking to somebody? And they said had Lord this
-
spoken only by Moses? Had you not spoken also by all
-
and the Lord had it. You know, you you, you know what
-
was tempting them to do all of that because as at that time the
-
road of Iran, OK, as boded almond and the rod of Moses is
-
there as dry as it was. I am I talking to somebody is as
-
dry as it has always been, but it has never lost its potency
-
because as a relationship, OK, that happened between God and
-
Moses. OK.
-
That convert potency upon that road?
-
Verse 3 Now the man Moses was very meek.
-
Kumar Brad Khakri Kumar le billboards everywhere.
-
Are you with me? Because since we are not seeing
-
his face on the Billboard everywhere at every junction in
-
the city, he may not be as popular as this one that are
-
always on big billboards. It's not about how much, it's
-
not about billboard appearance, it's about how much of God's
-
grace you carry the protest confound you by your intimacy
-
with God. Now the man was this was very
-
mean above all men which were upon the face of the earth.
-
But you will not see it in this mannerism that it carries such
-
grace. What it does so far only let me
-
pay. Let me pay both.
-
Say you go and read it. Well, by the time it was, it was
-
not only the rod of Iran that was attractive.
-
I saw Rene Yatto. Hello.
-
It's not by the rope, it's by the potency of your spiritual
-
anointment. Talking
-
to somebody. And the law specks suddenly.
-
On to Moses. Moses will not answer you in
-
this matter. God Himself took it upon himself
-
to answer it, and unto hero, and.
-
Unto Miriam come. Out E3 onto the Tabernacle of
-
the congression and the three came out and lock him down in
-
the pillar of the cloud and stood in the door of the
-
Tabernacle and call Heron and Miram and they both came forth.
-
Oh yeah, ambassador. And he said, here now my words,
-
if there be a prophet among you, I, the Lord will make myself
-
known unto him in the vision. I will speak unto him in a
-
dream. You.
-
See the things by which we judge and we.
-
Raise men of God to be very high in this day are the things that
-
God said. They are the lesser parameters.
-
He said. If there be a prophet among you,
-
how the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision.
-
Oh, Pastor, for now I will speak out to him in a dream.
-
My my savant Moses is not so Moses.
-
Is God talking to somebody? Is somebody upgrading and
-
learning? He said My.
-
Most my Sabah Moses. Is not.
-
So who is faithful in all? My house.
-
So what graduated into the? Frenzy level was.
-
Faithfulness, not the gifts. With him I speak mouth.
-
To mouth so when God speak to Moses, there is no drama about
-
it. Hello, are you with me?
-
OK, where you are your friend? If I don't sorrow, is there any
-
drama about it? Does he follow any particular
-
protocol? Am I talking to somebody?
-
Within my speak, mouth to mouth, even apparently are.
-
Not in dark speeches and the similitude of the Lord.
-
Shall he? Behold, wherefore then were ye
-
not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
-
Let me draw the country here by saying.
-
God desire. Is that we rise.
-
Beyond the multitude status to the friendship status.
-
But why we are saying this? It's.
-
Important that I draw this important caution that when we
-
emphasize friendship status, we are not saying graduate House of
-
discipleship status. So, so that somebody will not go
-
ahead and be boasting. Up I was a disciple man.
-
Or you're Lola. I told you the example.
-
Of Jesus Christ. Philippian. 5.
-
From verse 2, do you go with God?
-
He didn't see see that say something entitled to and then
-
start to misbehave and equate himself with God.
-
So. Be warned, you don't graduate.
-
From the discipleship status to attend the friendship rank, but
-
rather you excel in discipleship to be regarded as a friend so.
-
You you excel in discipleship. Moses.
-
Faithful in all my house. Then he became the friend of God
-
alias I stayed. Long.
-
Enough he remained A servant, yet the manager of the estate.
-
Are you with me? And then Abraham, can I say?
-
Oh, I commit everything. Into your hand, including Isaac
-
my. Son, how my son will.
-
Get it right so you excel in discipleship to attain the
-
friendship stick. You don't graduate out of
-
discipleship. God bless you in Jesus name.
-
Don't be left in the dark. Get proper.
-
Understanding of life through the Word of God.
-
My people perish for lack of knowledge.
-
The Word of God is an illumination which gives
-
direction. Remain placed as Reverend was
-
far and illuminates your mind with the Word of God with all
-
simplicity and clarity.
