The Principles of Spiritual Fervency (Prayer)

You are blessed in Jesus name. For the past three weeks now the

man of God has been teaching on the subject the principles of

spiritual vacancy, the principle of spiritual vacancy.

We took our bearing from the book of Romans chapter 12, where

Romans 12 · chapter mention

opposed to Paul was pleading to the believers what our personal

life should be. And then we proceeded to verse

11 of the same chapter, Romans chapter 12, verse 11, where we

were made to understand that there are three prongs, so

success in life. A prong is like a fork with

teeth. That is the meaning of prongs.

There are three prongs to success in life.

A prong is like a fork with teeth meant to pick or hook

another object. So the man of God describe and

explain to us that there are three prongs to success in life

and that for anyone to succeed in life these three prongs must

be adhere to number one. He spoke about divine clemency

or you rather call it undeserved favour.

That is the place of the grace of God in a man's life.

This cannot be overlooked or underestimated.

If you will make headway in life, you need the grace of God

to achieve success in life. And number two thing is to

discuss with us is practical vibrancy.

Practical vibrancy that is the place of personal or practical

responsibility of man, the place of practical responsibility of

man. As a man, you have your part to

play in attaining success in life.

You can't afford to leave everything for God to do for

you. You have your part to play.

And of course, the number three thing he described and explained

to us is spiritual fervency. Don't forget, I'm trying to

remind us of the three prongs of success, which was explains to

us in the last three weeks. Now number one is divine

clemency. We talked about the grace of God

in a man's life, and #2 is practical vibrancy, the place of

practical responsibility of man, and #3 is spiritual vacancy.

That is the place of spiritual responsibility of man.

And then we dwell so well under this third prong, and our focus

has been on the issue of spiritual vacancy.

Spiritual vacancy. The man of God made it very

clear that life is a place of contestation and that life is

full of confrontations. Life is a place of contestation,

contestation and is full of confrontations.

And that is why spiritual fugacy is inevitable.

Life is a battlefield whether you are conscious of it or not.

Life is a battlefield and that is why it is necessary for you

to constantly keep feet in the Spirit and not to lose God.

The Bible made it clear to us in Ephesians chapter 6 verse 12.

very clear to us that in this life when we encounter warfare,

life is a battlefield. For we wrestle not against flesh

and blood, but against principalities.

There are principalities we must contend with.

Against power, there are powers, powers of darkness, powers in

high places that we must content with, against power, against the

rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual

wickedness. And of course we can't use human

weapons to to fight that that type of battle.

We are fighting against spiritual wickedness.

So battles of life is not dodgeable, but it is

conquerable. You can't dodge it.

The Bible has made it very clear that we rescue against

principalities, against paths of darkness.

So battles of life is not dodgeable, you can't dodge it.

You can't dodge it, but through the help of God it is

conquerable. Jesus said in John chapter 16

John 16:33

verse 33 the B path, He said in this world ye shall have

tribulation but be of good year. I have overcome the world.

That is the good news, that is the good news.

So battles of life is not dodgeable but Jesus has promised

to give us victory. I pray for you in the name of

Jesus you will conquer all your battles.

Can I hear your Amen? Louder I say, I pray for you.

In the name of Jesus. You will conquer all your

battles. You will be victorious over any

challenge that may come your way as you journey in destiny in the

name of Jesus. Again, the man of God said to us

that you don't delegate your spiritual responsibility as a

believer, as a man, you can't delegate your spiritual

responsibility. You have to rise up to it

through the grace and through the help of God.

Spiritual warfare is not what you can delegate people to fight

on your behalf. Don't forget that day it was

citing example of a husband delegating the wife, you

continue to pray for me and then the husband will be doing

anyhow. Or the wife will say my husband

is praying and then she will relax.

No, you can't delegate spiritual responsibility.

And of course, spiritual warfare is not what you can ask somebody

to do on your behalf. So spiritual warfare is what we

must understand and know. That is part of the package for

a believer. And then we must rise up by the

help of God, through the help of the Holy Spirit.

In the battles of life, your faith will not faint.

In the battle of life, your faith will not faint in the name

of Jesus. So spiritual warfare is not an

optional vocation in the journey of faith.

I have said that it's not an optional vocation.

I am trying to remind us of what we have been taught so that by

the time we rise up to pray, we will be able to pray

effectively. We must have this understanding.

Spiritual warfare is not an optional vocation in the journey

of faith. It is a component of faith that

cannot be separated from the journey of faith and destiny.

It is a vocation that is not optional in the school of faith.

Therefore, we must all be fervent in the Spirit and

serving the Lord. We must rise up.

We must be fathered. That is why spiritual vacancy is

necessary. It's important, and I want to

add this, it is compulsory For you as a believer, you must be

fathered. For you as a child of God, you

must be fathered. You must not be cool and casual

in your faith, in your Christian journey.

All of us must be people who can pray effective prayer of faith.

Praying effective prayer of faith is not only for the prayer

warriors, if not only for a separate gender.

It is meant for every one of us to rise on our feet and pray

effective prayer of a James chapter 5 verse 16.

The big part of it says the effectual pheasant prayer of a

righteous man at veiled much I pray for you receive the

tireless spirit of Christ. Receive the grace for fervency

of the spirits to be able to be persistence in your prayer life

in the name of Jesus. And then the man of Godfather

pointed out that life is a place of contest and conquest.

There are things that will confront you in life.

There are things that you must contest for.

Are we now saying life is a competition?

No. But there are things that you

desire. Those are the things you contest

for, things you desire. You desire success in life.

That is what you are contesting for.

You desire promotion. You desire breakthrough in

business. So there are things that you

contest for and there are things that will confront you in life.

Those are challenges of life, challenges of life.

So nobody is accepted. Nobody is accepted.

So to be able to contest and conquer whatever confronts you,

you must be spiritually fathens. That is why you need to be

fathens. Don't, don't put on the attitude

of art. God is not a wicked God anyhow.

Anyhow is OK with God. He looks only at your heart.

God knows that I am trying. You must rise up and be fervent.

The Bible says the factual fervent prayer of a righteous

man, a veiled much. So you must approach life with

spiritual mindedness. You must approach life, the

issue of life, how you live on daily basis, how you live your

life, how you interact with men, your relationship with other

people, how you live in your place of work, even in your

family. You must be spiritually minded.

The man of God said life is not a comedy space.

You must approach life with spiritual mindedness.

Life is not a comedy, a comedy space where you can just joke

and joke away your time, joke away your life, joke about

everything. Nothing serious about you,

nothing. Everything is just joke.

It is not a space. Life is not a space for the

funniest. Life does not deliver its best

for the funniest, but it deliver its best to the fittest.

Say God, help me to be fit. Life is a serious business is a

serious business. So if you have been living life

in a careless way, rise this morning and ask God for grace to

be fathers and spirit. Life is a serious business and

therefore this morning we are going to be praying that God

should funnel us into flame and that the Holy Spirit should

breathe on us and make us fit to conquer and be victors and not

victims in the battle of life in the name of Jesus.

The man of Godfather pointed for us, that pointed to us that life

offers confrontations. Like I said the other time,

challenges, life offer confrontations, challenges

descending into a valley, climbing mountains and so on and

so forth. Challenges of life.

As you are praying about an issue, as you are receiving

victory, you will. This is something we still pray

about. Life is not a matter of I have

done my part. Let me now rest.

Let me now sit down, no more praying, no more doing this and

that. I am OK.

Now you rise efficiency, put on the whole amount of God, I'll be

able to stand and after you have done everything he said stand.

He didn't say sit down. He didn't say go and sleep.

He didn't say go and rest. After you have done all these

things, you should do what stand.

Life is a serious business, so life offer confrontations,

challenges. So if not spiritual life event

life may push you out of the way.

If you are not spirit, that is the danger of not being

spiritual event. Life may push you out of the

way, that is, push you out of the Christian way, and you begin

to believe anything. You no longer have faith in the

power of God. You no longer honor God.

I have had a cancer with a man who will tell you, Jesu, there

was a yeah, he said, honey, Jesu Badu.

Yes, I have encountered such a man.

I tried to minister to him, to preach Jesus to him.

He was holy. Jesu die, so if you are not

spiritually pheasant, life will push you out of the way.

Therefore, we must be well equipped to engage life and be

victorious. Then, Father, equip me, I can't

hear you to be victorious in life in the name of Jesus.

I pray for you that Lord will grant you grace to exercise

yourself in all virtues of Christian discipline required to

be fit for divine conquest in the name of Jesus.

Again, during his teaching, the man of God said life is a race

and those who are slack have no chance.

Life is a race and those who are slack have no chance.

They will push you aside. It's a race in which you must

not be slack. When you enter a bus where if

the seat is meant for four people or three people to sit

and you are like 5 seats on that seat, some will sit down.

They are they are they are put up will not be touching the seat

of the of the fable. Can you feel that you know what

I'm talking about? Some will be able to sit down

but some their put up will not touch the seats and then they

will be looking for opportunity that once if they could enter

gallop or whatever as if they could enter gallop and everybody

jump or you will quickly put your bottom fear.

You have taken your place. If you are slack, there's no

chance for you. That is life.

You don't you don't run the race carelessly.

Focus. May you be energized by God in

the name of Jesus. Even when you are savored, you

must be sensitive to recognize it and be competent to manage

it. Even when God brings

opportunity, be sensitive to recognize that this is an

opportunity I must not miss. This is an opportunity I must

hold on to. So you must be able to recognize

it and then be competent to manage it.

May you be energized to manage your guarding, to manage every

opportunity that will come your way in the name of Jesus.

Why? Because there are forces who are

ready to fight and snatch it. That is life.

If you are too loose if you smack.

There are forces, there are people, there are powers, there

are principalities that are waiting for you to relax.

And then they will snatch it. They will fight against you.

So you must be spiritually fervent.

I pray for you. You will not slack, say you will

not slack. You will be empowered to fight

and conquer in the mighty name of Jesus.

Receive grace and strength to rise up to your responsibilities

in life in the name of Jesus. The law will make you to be well

positioned to have the good share of life in the name of

Jesus. What belongs to you in destiny

will not be forcefully taken from you in that name of Jesus.

Please, I want us to rise up as we call on God this morning.

I want you to really pray. Be fathered in your prayer.

If you don't have the right orientation about life, it may

make you to doubt God and His power.

You must therefore have the correct orientation about life,

and you must travel far in Christ to remain unshakable and

well positioned to have your share in the good things that

life has to offer. Do you understand?

Do you understand? You must have the correct

orientation about life. So the orientation you have

about life, we either turn you into a fighter or to a victim.

You will not become a victim in the battle of life.

In the name of Jesus orientation you have about life.

We tell you where you are going. It's all about it.

Yes. So your orientation about life,

we tell where you belong. And then he said we must travel

far. People are travelling far in the

world. Many years ago the man of God

said so. People are travelling far into

the world, maybe to get power, maybe to get connection, maybe

to be rich and so on and so forth.

They are travelling far. So you are self believer.

You must travel far in Christ, Know Him deeply.

Have your understanding of the Word of God.

Have the clear understanding of the move of God.

Know the voice of God when God is speaking and when the devil

is talking to you. Recognize and identify the grace

of God. Don't be confused.

Have the correct orientation about life.

So when you travelled far with Christ and His Word dwells in

you, then you will become unmovable and unshakeable in the

face of life Challenges and good things of life that have good

things that life has to offer will become yours.

Pray Father, in the name of Jesus, take me deep and you pray

here. Say, oh Lord, say, oh Lord, say,

oh Lord, take me deep in the knowledge of Christ and in the

word of God. Keep me unshakable and unmovable

in the face of life challenges in the name of Jesus.

Unmovable, uncheckable. You have deeper understanding of

God, deeper understanding of the Word of God.

Travel fire with Christ Jesus. Take me deep in the knowledge of

Christ. Take me deep in the Word of God.

Keep me unshakeable and unmovable in the face of life

challenges in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Father God, we are

thanking you for grace this morning.

Blessed be your name, in Jesus name we have praised.

Lord, we are so grateful for the opportunity, the privilege, the

strength you have granted to us to start in your presence this

morning to pray. Lord, we say be exalted in the

name of Jesus. You will find us into flame.

Holy Ghost will breathe upon our lives and make us fit to face

the challenges of life and to conquer.

We will not be victims, we will be victors in the name of Jesus.
