Who is this a Freedom Bible Church, The Church of A?
-
Disney Christian narration. Our focus today, we're going to
-
be examining moderation and spiritual fallacy.
-
Moderation and spiritual fallacy.
-
But before we go on, I like you to understand this study as an
-
advanced class and the school of discipleship.
-
In that sense, you will need to pay keen attention to get the
-
information accurately. Praise the name of the Lord.
-
I'm trusted the Lord that I will not misinform you.
-
I'm also trusted the Lord that you will not misinterpret me in
-
the name of Jesus. And so we also get ourselves to
-
the guidance of the Holy Spirit for help.
-
And I know it will build a teacher and the structure of our
-
mind this morning in the name of Jesus.
-
When we talk about spiritual Farhan, see, it is expected to
-
be more evidence among young people generally, all believers
-
to be spiritually Farhan. We've been emphasizing that over
-
and over again. But when lukewarmness
-
characterize the youthful Christian population is an issue
-
of serious concern. Am I talking to somebody is an
-
issue of what serious concern? Because what are you going to
-
give us an explanation that warrant that you will not deploy
-
your youthful energy and active commitment to your faith?
-
So spiritual privacy, though expected of all believers, of
-
all age groups and categories, it is much more expected to be
-
more evident among young people, not only young people, among
-
young believers. There's a difference between
-
young people and young believers.
-
Young people is a question of age.
-
Young. Being a young believer is a part
-
when you come to know the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.
-
So a person of a younger age may not be a young believer if it
-
comes to know the Lord earlier in life than an adult.
-
Am I talking to somebody? And so I'm saying essentially
-
that spiritual fervency should be much evidence among the
-
youthful Christian population generally.
-
Then it is also expected that when you just come to the Lord
-
as a young believer, OK, that fires to be evident.
-
So maturity is therefore required for moderation in
-
handling your zeal. And that is why we are bringing
-
in the balance that is necessary to manage spiritual vacancy this
-
morning. So maturity is required to
-
moderate the kind of zealousness that a young believer will
-
demonstrate, the kind of zealousness that is always
-
evidence among the youthful Christian population.
-
Because if that moderation is not taught to help them attain
-
maturity, no, they become a victim of what I call spiritual
-
juvenile syndrome. So I'm going to speak so much
-
about that as we proceed in the study.
-
Spiritual juvenilism or spiritual juvenile syndrome will
-
always result when spiritual pharmacy is not managed with
-
moderation that can help young believers to quickly attain
-
maturity. So if you are young in faith and
-
you are young in age, you have no justification to be
-
spiritually sluggish, no justification for somebody who
-
is a Christian and young in age or for somebody who is young in
-
faith to be spiritually sluggish.
-
You know the advantage you have as a young person.
-
It lies in the combination of your youthful energy and the
-
only spirit baptism that you have received.
-
So the combination of your youthful energy and the Holy St.
-
baptism is expected to produce super spiritual commitment,
-
excellent spiritual commitment. Am I talking to somebody?
-
So a situation whereby you are carefree and you are not serious
-
with your faith is, is an issue of serious concern.
-
The Scripture says in Lamentation it is good for a
-
young man to bear the youth in his youth.
-
Of course, our Lord Jesus Christ stood opposed to Peter, that it
-
is natural for young people to be vibrant.
-
You remember after he resurrected and he visited Peter
-
and a few other disciples by the sea where they were trying to
-
catch fish and they could not catch.
-
Then he eventually he made already prepared fees available
-
to them. Then he started a discourse with
-
them. That was where he emphasized to
-
Peter to put his attention his focus on feeding the sheep.
-
You recall that story there about goes back on to Saint John
-
chapter 2021, Prince, the name of the Lord in that place.
-
He told Peter, I said now that you are young, you can jump up
-
and down. So a time will come when you
-
will need younger persons to lead you.
-
All right, So Jesus here was incredibly saying that it is
-
natural for young people to be vibrant.
-
So it's an abrasion if you are young person and not spiritually
-
vibrant, I am not dedicating your youthful energy, OK, or
-
expressing your youthful energy even in the area of commitment
-
to your feet. So the lack of social vibrancy
-
in young people is an abnormal situation.
-
Get off that abnormal situation, tell your neighbor, get off that
-
abnormal situation. And of course, in older people,
-
people who have stayed long and fit or they have stayed longer
-
in years, if we find spiritual vibrancy in them, it is
-
commendable. Then we should move closer to
-
searchable to learn the secret. If an elderly person is still up
-
and doing in the area of prayers, in the area of
-
evangelism, OK, in the area of spiritual sharpness,
-
sensitivity, OK, Certainly there is much to learn from such an
-
elderly believer. So to me, it is both
-
supernatural and commendable that old people sustain their
-
vibrancy. Because when you catch fire, OK,
-
the tendency is there that as the wind is blowing, it may blow
-
out the fire. A life coal that is not
-
supported by Ezra coal, OK, to keep burning, we eventually die.
-
So what? The natural progression of the
-
lifespan of any fire. In that fire we want to go down.
-
Am I talking to somebody? But whereby you find elderly
-
people, OK, they are still burning for the law.
-
To me it is something supernatural.
-
It is also something highly commendable on the part of those
-
elderly people to have been able to sustain the fire.
-
So it is therefore wise on the part of younger believers and
-
the youthful population to move closer to such elders, relate
-
with such elders, to be able to know what is the secret that
-
kept them burning, that help them to sustain their spiritual
-
vibrancy. So as a youth, the challenge is
-
on you, the responsibility is on you that you must exercise the
-
natural. What I mean by that is that it
-
is expected of you naturally to be energetic.
-
It is expected of you naturally to be up and doing.
-
It is expected of you naturally to be vibrant because you have
-
everything going well for you to be able to do so.
-
Biologically you are son. Head wise you are son, mental
-
wise you are son. And so you expect to exhibit
-
natural sharpness, including spiritual sharpness.
-
Am I talking to somebody? So, but where you hold back,
-
where you are among the population that lay back in
-
spiritual privacy at the younger age, you are creating a problem
-
for your future years. So as a youth you must exercise
-
the natural for you to be able to exhibit the supernatural at
-
old age. So don't hold back the natural
-
capacity to be fathomed. Don't hold back the natural
-
capacity to be hope and doing. Don't hold back the natural
-
capacity to stay up in the place of prayer as a spinster because
-
a time will come when the hormones of baby making we make
-
your strength to win. Am I talking to somebody?
-
So when it is natural for you, exercise it such that when it is
-
not natural for you, you enjoy the supernatural dimension.
-
You'll be able to exhibit the supernatural.
-
If you slack at young age, you will suffer at old age Blonde
-
truths. If you slack at your younger
-
age, you will suffer at. I pray that you will prepare
-
yourself for the years when natural energy will not favour
-
you in the name of Jesus. So now that you are expected to
-
be vibrant at younger age, our today's focus is to draw your
-
attention to the need to match your vibrancy with maturity.
-
So the focus for today is how you can exercise moderation in
-
the exhibition of your vacancy. How to manage your physical
-
vibrancy and your spiritual vacancy with moderation.
-
Because when you have passion, you must learn caution.
-
Where you have passion, once you learn, you learn caution.
-
How do I mean by that? Recently I posted on my Facebook
-
page. You might have come across it.
-
I said the wise in your devotional activities and I
-
related that to the consecration that can affect your aids.
-
I said endangering your aids is not consecration.
-
I said faith is vital, but it must not become fatter.
-
Faith is very vital that in your fit life you must be there
-
upright, you must be there fragment, you must be there
-
optimally, but it must not become fata.
-
We have had stories of people who, because of their zeal to
-
carry the power of gold, go into fasting, but because they didn't
-
do it with knowledge, OK, instead of coming out, it's OK
-
to demonstrate power before men. After the consecration of prayer
-
and fasting, they are now before Angel singing.
-
So be wisely your devotional activities, because endangering
-
your earth is not consecration. Faith is vital, but it must not
-
become fertile. Let's relate it practically.
-
If there are students, Bible study is necessary for your
-
spiritual growth, but it must not replace your academic study.
-
Moderation and under spiritual vacancy As a student, Bible
-
study is necessary for your spiritual growth, but it must
-
not replace your academic study. Zeal mismanagement has never
-
helped spiritually, so you need to learn how to manage your
-
zeal. Zeal mismanagement has never
-
helped spiritually. It has always lead to a
-
regrettable hand and that is why my emphasis today will be on how
-
to overcome spiritual juvenile syndrome or spiritual
-
juvenilism. It is a disease that come
-
predisposes to a spiritual dead end.
-
How do I mean by spiritual juvenilism or spiritual or
-
spiritual juvenile syndrome? It is that stage of faith
-
whereby if we call you a spiritual B, you will be
-
offended because you have been around for some time, you've got
-
born again for some time, praise the name of the Lord.
-
So at that stage of spiritual juvenilism, if we call you a
-
spiritual B, you will be offended.
-
And we are also not comfortable to regard you as a spiritual B.
-
But it is evidence in the way you are going about your faith
-
life that the basic parameters of maturity are obviously absent
-
both in your speech and Christian conduct.
-
So that's my definition of spiritual juvenilism.
-
Are you with me or you want me to come again?
-
Maybe I'm relating with your reality.
-
Maybe I'm relating with the reality of somebody you know.
-
OK, he's been around for some time.
-
He's been born again for some time.
-
OK, he is here and there and everywhere in the things of the
-
of the spirit. But you can actually not place
-
that person as somebody who is serious, who is mature.
-
They easily form victim of seal management.
-
So it is that stage in your first war whereby if we call you
-
spiritual baby, you will be offended and of course we are
-
also careful to call you like that to regard to you like that.
-
We are also not comfortable, OK to see you as such.
-
OK, so you are neither a babe or a grown up and you are staying
-
too long at that plateau, OK of not being a babe or an adult.
-
Am I talking to somebody? Why is this so?
-
Because the way and manner you are conducting yourself
-
spiritually, we can obviously see that the parameters of
-
spiritual maturity are obviously absent in your life.
-
The apostle Paul first, that kind of situation with the
-
Corinthian church. Let's hear him in First Constant
-
chapter 3, the 1st 2 verses of First Constant Chapter 3.
-
And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual.
-
In other words, if I communicate deep things of the Spirit to
-
you, you will not understand. If I share deep things of the
-
Spirit with you, you will not understand.
-
If I engage you OK with the kind of assignment that spiritual
-
adults should be giving you will mess it up so.
-
And here you are, you are speaking in tongue, here you
-
are, you are manifesting gifts of the Spirit.
-
You are vibrant, you are everywhere.
-
So when it comes to the issue of external vibrancy, external
-
vibrancy, you are there, but you are lightweight in the spirit.
-
You have volume, small, full year.
-
Am I talking to somebody? Your volume of gravity is
-
missing, he said to the church in Corinne Brethen I could not
-
speak unto you as unto spiritual.
-
So if we address you as spiritual, babe, you'll be
-
offended. And we are also careful not to
-
address you as sword because we knew that you have been around
-
for a very long time. But as unto Kana, so your
-
classification or the classical configuration that fits you most
-
is to call you a Kana Christian, but you are not seeing yourself
-
as such. But for the Spirit of God and
-
your spiritual mentors, that is what they are seeing in you.
-
Even as unto babes in Christ, I have fed you with me and not
-
with me. So by the years that you have
-
been around, by the presence that you create, OK, you are
-
qualified to be invited to the table where they share meat.
-
But if we make mistake of feeding you with meat, you will
-
not be able to digest it. And we don't want to cost you
-
spiritual Constipation. And so we continue to feed you
-
with me. In fact, in the only spirit
-
personal dealing with you. OK when you come with your SQC,
-
we accept it just to tolerate you.
-
So what can perfectly define relationship with the only
-
spirit is toleration. Those with himself is not
-
comfortable with you, but he can't throw you out.
-
Am I talking to somebody? So that is the state that I
-
define as the state of spiritual juvenilism.
-
They are fed you with me and not with me.
-
But either though you are not able to be, IE neither yet now
-
are you able in our thinking, OK, we are saying you should
-
have outgrown this stage, but we are still comfortable around
-
that same mountain of spiritual juvenilism at that stage.
-
Your case is the case of having less of wisdom and essence of
-
zeal, less of knowledge and essence of what zeal?
-
Remember I told you that you should give Kane attention
-
because this class is an advanced class in discipleship.
-
Is the case of imbalance between zeal and knowledge?
-
Is the case where individuals prioritize emotional
-
experiences, where individual prioritize simplistic answers
-
over deeper learning We are individual prioritize self
-
reflection and the over self reflection and mature faith
-
practices. The prioritize simplistic
-
answers over deeper learning over self reflection over mature
-
faith practices just create an atmosphere of Jamboree.
-
They are there are we together? But when they come to issues of
-
deeper reflection, mature faith practices, they are not
-
comfortable to use medical terms is a condition that can be
-
likened to the essence of essential or more that is
-
actually needed in moderate quantity whereby you need more
-
of or more that attract towards knowledge.
-
You are demonstrating essence or more for hyperactivity.
-
Am I talking to somebody? So the why you need a moderate
-
quantity you have with an s s quantity.
-
For instance, the condition called hypothyroidism in
-
medicine which is an abnormal medical condition whereby your
-
thyroid gland is overactive producing too much of thyroid or
-
moon. And of course you know that this
-
will cause symptoms like weight loss, rapid heartbeat, anxiety,
-
eat intolerance and evil deaths. Are you relating with me and
-
even that so in the process, the terror or more was supposed to
-
serve as your body engine regulator to control metabolism,
-
energy level, growth and development.
-
You know the thyroid or more required to keep your body
-
running smoothly. Now start to overall now start
-
to operate riotously. I'll give you the example of a
-
young prophet in the Bible. It's a lengthy reading, but
-
there's so much to learn from him.
-
OK. How he could not moderate his
-
spiritual vacancy. How you could not manage his
-
spiritual calling. How you could not manage his
-
spiritual giftedness. And Iran to a dead end.
-
You will not run to a dead end in the name of Jesus.
-
So let us examine the case of the young prophet that was
-
affected by spiritual juvenile syndrome in the Bible and pick
-
lessings that can help us to avoid is kind of hero First
1 Kings 13 chapter mention
-
Kings chapter 13 we're reading a whole lot of 32 verses.
-
Church, are you good to go? Answer me.
-
Church, are you good to go? If you were a copper, you
-
answer, good to go, good to go. Praise the name of the Lord.
-
That's when and beyond here came the man of God out of Judah, by
-
the word of the Lord unto better.
-
So a man can be a man of God, a man of the puppet, A preacher,
-
and yet is spiritual juvenile. Are we together?
-
Yet is spiritual, juvenile, and beyond that came the man of God
-
out of Judah, by the word of the Lord unto better.
-
And Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn insane, and it cry
-
against the altar in the word of the Lord.
-
So it might come be a preacher who has the word of the Lord,
-
who has instruction from God, and yet is pretty juvenile.
-
And say, Oh, altar, altar does sell the law, the old, the child
-
shall be born unto the House of baby Josiah by name.
-
So a man can be able to professor accurately.
-
Now if you go further in Bible history, you will discover that
-
the prophecy that he gave were very accurate prophecy.
-
Everything prophesied about King Josiah.
-
OK, eventually happened. Am I talking to somebody?
-
You know, for somebody to come by said it was, I think it was
-
prophet Isaiah that came close to that, OK, who prophesied that
-
a child will be born and this is the name of the child.
-
And it happened with accuracy in history.
-
So this young prophet here, though is between juvenile who
-
was very, very vibrant and effective, OK, even in his
-
prophetic ministry. But juvenilism eventually did
-
not allow him to survive. Spiritual predators.
-
Am I talking to somebody? Part of the danger of staying as
-
a spiritual juvenile is that you become victim of spiritual
-
predators. And in our days there are many
-
spiritual predators on the pulpit.
-
OK, you think you are serving the Lord along with them.
-
You think you are following them to heaven, but they are leading
-
you somewhere else. They are exploiting you.
-
They are taking advantage of you.
-
Praise the name of the law. There are not a lot of young
-
people that are wasting away OK, thinking they are a ministry,
-
but actually they are nowhere near serving the law.
-
They are merely serving me. Am I talking to somebody?
-
Some men just take advantage of the hospital juvenilism.
-
Brainwash them, OK, and keep them productive unto them, not
-
unto God. So this subject is a very
-
serious 1:00. AM I talking to somebody, Joseph
-
by name? And upon thee shall over thee
-
shall over the priests of the high places, that bonuses upon
-
thee and men's bones shall be borne upon thee.
-
And he gave a sign that same day, same This is the sign with
-
the Lord has spoken before The altar shall be reigned, and the
-
ashes that are upon shall be poured out.
-
And it came to pass, when King Jeorbaum had the same of the man
-
of God, which he had cried against the altar in better that
-
he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, lay hold on him
-
and his, and which he put for against him dried off, so that
-
he could not pull it in again. To him who without the hand of
-
the king, the man of God or God, answer me, Is it the man of God,
-
that without the hand of the king or God?
-
God, because that the hand of the king with that was not part
-
of the pronouncement. Young man, settle down, you need
-
this message seriously. The author also was reigned, And
-
the ashes proud from the altar, according to the sign with the
-
man of God, are given by the word of the Lord.
-
And the king answered and said unto the man of God, Entreat now
-
the face of the Lord thy God, and pray for me, that my hand
-
may be restored me again. He started by taking instruction
-
from God. Now the king is now trying to
-
absorb the place of God and start to instruct him.
-
Am I talking to somebody? And because of spiritual
-
juvenilism, he missed it. He acted according to what the
-
king demanded, and one thing led to the other until he lost his
-
life. Beware of spiritual predators.
-
And the man of God besought the Lord, and the King's hand was
-
restored him again, and became as it was before.
-
In the earlier fascist, we read the manuscript, we read the
-
mandate, we read the old package of what God has commanded him to
-
go and do. Going there to go and perform
-
miracle of him in the hand of a man that put trouble upon
-
himself was not part of the package.
-
So part of what you find as the problem or error of virtual
-
juvenilism is that you want to showcase power even when it is
-
against the will of God. That's why I said in that stage
-
of your spiritual faith work, OK, you prioritize emotional
-
display above deep reflection. If there was a deep reflection,
-
he will not respond to the request of the king.
-
And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, I
-
refreshed, I say, and I will give thee a reward.
-
And the man of God said unto the King, If that will give me half
-
of the house, I will not go in with thee, if you are a matured
-
man of God. The old conversation we had
-
there, but he proceeded, Neither will I eat bread nor drink water
-
in this place. Well, he has not said much here,
-
but he didn't stop. Verse 9 For so was he charge me
-
by the word of the Lord. Did he need to communicate his
-
consecration? Hello, say eat, nor bread, nor
-
drink water, nor turn again, by the same way that thou camest.
-
He has said too much. Part of the casualties of
-
spiritual juveniles is that they always say too much the same,
-
more than necessary. Hello, the message I want to
-
preach today by the grace of God as I enter the bathroom when I
-
half my clothes OK before I will take the soap and pour water on
-
my body. Then suddenly you also said hold
-
on to me and the woman who is saying that is a Pretty Woman of
-
God preaching among young people and try to describe what was
-
happening in the space room. Those young men will no longer
-
listening to you. You already suggested something
-
to you, they are no longer saying you preaching, they are
-
saying your nakedness. Am I talking to somebody?
-
You said too much when you are still at that stage of spiritual
-
juveniles and you don't realize it.
-
For someone she charged me by the word of law say eat no bread
-
nor drink water nor turn again by the same way that thou came
-
as assume it was this days of banditry.
-
OK, he has already given you an information that this is the
-
route I will take. Am I talking to somebody?
-
You have to preach your revelation and keep your
-
consecration. But in Spiritual Juvenile we
-
both preach his revelation and expose his consecration.
-
Just to feel big, OK, Just to prove and impress people.
-
That is super spiritual. Am I talking to somebody?
-
Because as I teach you on spiritual fibrancy and spiritual
-
fibrancy, grace will come upon you.
-
Part of the lesson you need to learn to manage the grace that
-
comes with fibrancy is our only to communicate your revelation
-
and keep your consecration to yourself.
-
Here He was exposing his consecration, for so was he
-
charged me by the word of Lord, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink
-
water, nor turn again by the way that thou came in.
-
So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he
-
came to birthday now that dwell, and all prophet in better.
-
And his sons came and told him all the words that the man of
-
God had done that day in better, the words which he has spoken
-
unto the king. Then they told also to their
-
father, And their father said unto them, What way went he?
-
Ordinarily, when this whole predator that is called a
-
prophet wanted to follow after him, he will have followed the
-
path he came from. Are you with me?
-
Because if he came from the West, certainly if they want to
-
pursue him, they will also say, well, this is the way he came
-
from. We saw when he was coming,
-
therefore he must have followed that path.
-
But he already exposed his consecration by excessive
-
communication that God told me that I should not follow the way
-
I come from. And so they knew the alternative
-
route. So they will have missed him,
-
but they caught up with him because he exposed his
-
consecration. Am I talking to somebody?
-
And the father said unto them, What way went he?
-
For his sons had seen what way the man of God where we came
-
from Judah. And he said unto his sons,
-
Saddle me the house. So they saddle him the house.
-
And he rode thereon, and went after the man of God, and found
-
him sitting under an O. And he said unto him about the
-
man of God that came out from Judah.
-
And he said, I am. Then he said unto him, Come home
-
with me, and eat bread. And he said, I may not return
-
with thee, nor go in with thee, neither will I eat bread or
-
drink water with thee in this place.
-
For it was said to me by the word of the Lord.
-
He never stopped committing the same error.
-
Thus I eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to
-
go by the way that thou came. He said unto him, I am a prophet
-
also, as thou art. And an Angel speak unto me by
-
the word of the Lord. The Lord himself spoke to the
-
young prophet. The old prophet said an Angel
-
spoke to him with superior. He dropped what the Lord said to
-
him to embrace what somebody claim an Angel said to him,
-
Somebody that has been having personal and private building
-
with God, who understand the counsel of God.
-
Somebody is now saying a message from a secondary agent, OK, to
-
substitute what it got directly from the law.
-
I pray for you. You love the Lord, you want to
-
serve the Lord. You will not serve the law under
-
a spiritual predator. Many young people today are
-
serving under spiritual predators who are just taking
-
advantage of their juvenilism, saying, Bring him back with thee
-
into thy house, that he may eat bread and drink water.
-
But he lied unto him. There are many line spirits on
-
the pupil today. So he went back with him, and
-
did eat bread in his house, and drank water.
-
And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of
-
the Lord came unto the prophet that brought him back.
-
I would Ali, Ali, I will battle in there but in one law and the
-
crown to the man of what I came from Judah saying, Don't say the
-
law, for as much as thou as disobeyed the mouth of the law
-
and has not kept the commandment with the Lord, thy God commanded
-
thee, but came back and has eaten bread and drunk water, in
-
the place of the which the Lord did say to thee, Eat not bread
-
and dig no water. Thy carcass shall not come unto
-
the sepulchre of thy fathers. And he was not even careful, he
-
was not even remorseful to deliver the message because all
-
along he has been helping the young prophet that how could I
-
be in the land, OK. And it's going to be a younger
-
person that will be delivering the mind of God.
-
You will not be a victim of malicious elders in the name of
-
Jesus. And it kept to pass after he had
-
eaten bread and after he had drunk that his saddle for him,
-
they asked to wait for the prophet whom he had brought
-
back. And when he was gone, it lion
-
met him by the way and slew him, and his carcass was cast in the
-
way, and the ash stood by he. The lion also stood by the
-
carcass. And behold, men passed by, and
-
saw the carcass cast in the way, and the lion standing by the
-
carcass. And they came and told it in the
-
city where the old prophet dwelt.
-
And when the prophet that brought him back from the way
-
had thereof, he said, it is the man of God who was disobedience,
-
or to the word of the law. He never mentioned a part of
-
our. He contributed to his
-
disobedience. They will trick you to evil.
-
When the consequences come, they will wash off their hands.
-
They will distance themselves from you.
-
My Denny Kennedy, also Reburuku. It could be another person, it
-
could be a friend. They push you to eat, and when
-
the consequences come back to you, then they run away.
-
They leave you to eat, to survive it alone.
-
Therefore the Lord had delivered him unto the lion.
-
We had turned him and slid him according to the word of the
-
Lord, which is speak unto him, and he speak to his son, saying,
-
Saddle me the house, and the saddle him.
-
And he went and found his carcass cast in the way, and the
-
ass, and the lion standing by the carcass.
-
The lion had not eaten the carcass, nor turned the house.
-
And the prophet took up the carcass of the man of God and
-
laid it upon the house and brought it back.
-
And the and the the prophet came to the city to mourn and to bury
-
him. Your enemy will not celebrate
-
your death. Your enemy will not celebrate
-
your downfall in the name of Jesus.
-
Deceive us will not deceive you to your death.
-
Deceive us will not source to deceive you to your destruction
-
in the name of Jesus. And he lay this cast in his own
-
grave, and the mourn over him, saying, Alas, my brother.
-
And it came to pass after he had buried him that he speak to his
-
son, saying, when I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre
-
where the man of God is buried. Lay my bone behind his bones.
-
You want to identify with him because of the great miracle and
-
the prophecy that he gave. For they say which he cried by
-
the word of the Lord against the all time better and against all
-
the houses of the high places which are the city of Samaria
-
shall surely come to pass. Let's do a further reflection on
-
this reading. It was easy for the old prophet
-
to deceive this young prophet because of inexperience, because
-
of juvenilism. His disobedience was not
-
deliberate. His disobedience was born out of
-
inexperience. To me, this is a clear case of
-
spiritual juvenile syndrome. It was deceived by testimony of
-
encounter, an encounter that the whole profession with him that
-
an Angel spoke to me. Hello.
-
And you know the way we garnish prophecy, we garnish our puppet
-
presentation. OK, That soup you off your leg.
-
OK, I make you think that before I came to church this morning,
-
myself and an Angel has eaten a plate of amala.
-
And so because of that, you are ready to swallow everything that
-
I say unto you. Correct or not correct?
-
Am I talking to somebody? So you will sweep all these legs
-
by the testimony of an encounter with an Angel that you professor
-
within. He did not do a background check
-
of the character behind the encounter.
-
So one of the things you must do is that when somebody sharing an
-
encounter with you, do a background check of the
-
character that is sharing the encounter.
-
Am I talking to somebody? So it was deceived by the
-
testimony of encounter. He did not do a background check
-
of the character behind the encounter.
-
This is not going to be the first time that prophet will be
-
telling lies. Are you with me?
-
And if we are, he cannot even get a person to check with.
-
Why can't he check with his spirit?
-
God spoke to me and the same God that was speaking to me wanted
-
to reverse the instruction. OK, He has to go through a third
-
party to reverse the instruction.
-
No, I need to pray about this matter before I took.
-
I take steps. Am I talking to somebody?
-
He said that I didn't hear God correctly or somebody's lying to
-
me. This is what the Bible says.
-
Very clear position of the Scripture.
-
But somebody said God has given him a revelation.
-
God has given him a Rhema that contradicts the word of God.
-
That's a clear contrast to the clear position of the Scripture.
-
You need to check the character behind the encounter.
-
In the face of God, character matters more than encounter.
-
Hold that in the face of God, in the face of the spirit,
-
character matters more than what the encounter.
-
That is why we say on the last day to some people who will come
-
hear your name, where is the dead?
-
In your name we heal the sea. Then we say unto them, Go away
-
from me. I don't know you, you workers of
-
inequity. So the encounter he didn't deny,
-
but their character didn't match.
-
Am I talking to somebody? So in the things of the spirit,
-
character matters more than encounter.
-
Don't let anybody use their testimony of encounter to
-
deceive you. Then we noticed that it
-
performed a miracle that was not originally a part of the divine
-
Commission. Even the widow hand of the King
-
was not part of the original Commission.
-
Always check the manuscript of your personal encounter and let
-
it be consistent with what you are doing.
-
Am I talking to somebody? Then he preached his
-
consecration that was supposed to be kept.
-
I emphasize that seriously, while we're analyzing the
-
Scripture, he preached his consecration that was supposed
-
to be kept. And this is your rule.
-
Preach your revelation, but keep your consecration.
-
Manage your communication. Speak decently, avoid excessive
-
talking, excessive narration. I recollect the story of a man
-
of God who bragged about his matamorial fidelity.
-
I was dragged down to commit immorality against his wish by
-
Jezebel in his church. Here's the story it's in A man
-
of God shared it with us years back when I was in Syria that a
-
man of God was celebrating 25 years of his marriage and he
-
said I thank God in the last 25 years that I've been married to
-
my beautiful wife. I've never seen the lap of
-
another woman and a decibel sitting on the pue live say you
-
it means you have not met people like us and what does she do She
-
got home and arranged with a few other people OK and and fame
-
madness OK and that same Sunday they rushed her to the church
-
that the lady that were together in church today.
-
No has been inflicted with the spirit of insanity.
-
And the man of what I was bragging was a deliverance
-
minister and then he prayed and because it was a fake madness it
-
has to go because man of God has prayed praise the name of the
-
Lord. And they took her home and as
-
soon as he got home the madness returned.
-
So they have to return her. And they repeated that until it
-
was getting late in the night. And then a suggestion was made
-
is part of the script to the man of God that since the atmos in
-
the atmosphere of the church the madness was not coming on was
-
coming on her president of the law let us stay over overnight
-
and then they put her in the bus scooter OK everybody left.
-
He went to his own main building to go and sleep and when it was
-
the dead of the night OK, when the wife was also already
-
sleeping and tired, the lady started to demonstrate again in
-
our quarters in our apartment. And then the man of God had to
-
come again to minister deliverance and by the time she
-
will he will enter the we enter the apartment.
-
They met a stack naked woman and then she quickly pulled the door
-
and locked the door. It was her and the man of God
-
and I said man of God do it or I scream that you came here to RIP
-
me. So with the support of the
-
demons that were working with her, the man of God that was
-
boasting on the puppet in the day that for 25 years he has not
-
seen the lap of another woman, slept with her and said you know
-
Philly, why you are doing your posting when saying that you've
-
never met our type. Preach your revelation, keep
-
your consecration. So he preaches concretion that
-
he was supposed to keep, and the rule is preach your revelation,
-
but keep your consecration. He acted against his
-
consecration again by staying over at better and by eating in
-
the House of the prophet. A spiritual warrior that is not
-
mature is vulnerable in many respects as we have seen with
-
this young prophet. A speaker juvenile is vulnerable
-
to hear any strange voices without being able to design.
-
What do you need to do? 6 virtual groups pursue
-
progressive revelation. Commit to that seriously and all
-
repent deadly. You need spirituality to anchor
-
your consecration. You need maturity to anchor your
-
fortification. Hello, you need spirituality to
-
anchor your consecration. But match that spirituality with
-
maturity, because that is what will fortify you against
-
spiritual predators. For that essential lesson, you
-
need to know that spiritual warfare is not a fleshly
-
emotional venture. Spiritual warfare is not a
-
fleshly emotional venture. You need to put on the whole
-
amount of gold. Yeah, you may be able to stand
-
against the wise of the devil efficiencies from verse 11 to
-
13. Verse 12.
-
For what is to not against flesh and blood, but against
-
principality, against power, against the rulers of the
-
darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high
-
places? Therefore, or wherefore, take
-
unto you the whole armor of God, not part of them the whole armor
-
of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil days, and
-
having done all you stand, you don't sleep.
-
Second Lesson. Spiritual warfare is a delicate
-
field of operation, therefore spiritual juvenile must engage
-
in it with caution. Even spiritual veterans must be
-
aware of self volition approach to spiritual warfare.
-
Self volition approach to spiritual warfare.
-
It was self volition that made him to heal the wider hand of
-
the king. If you don't put all these
-
cautions in place, you don't put these cautions in place, you
-
become a victim of what I call negative bass bag.
-
Because in science it is said to every action that is equal and
-
opposite reaction. And in the faith for every
-
Kingdom progress, there is a matching protest from hell.
-
Hello, there's a matching protest from war from hell.
-
So spirituality match which maturity is required to be an
-
effective spiritual warrior. Otherwise you may abuse
-
spiritual gift or you mismanage divine instruction.
-
That young prophet was a victim of boots.
-
He abused spiritual gifts. He mismanaged divine
-
instruction. A spiritual warrior that is not
-
mature is vulnerable to deception that may lead to
-
destruction. Rise on your feet as we pray.
-
Rise on your feet as we pray. Rise on your feet as we pray.
-
Ask the Lord to help you. Ask the law to make you commit
-
to spiritual growth. Ask the Law to help you to be
-
able to manage your consecration.
-
Ask the Lord to help you to make you outgrow your spiritual
-
weaknesses, like excessive talking, like prayerlessness,
-
like simplistic attitude that make you vulnerable and you can
-
be easily deceived. Thank you Lord for answer
-
prayers in Jesus name we are praying the church can say
-
louder. Amen.
-
Father, I commit your children to your evil hands that as they
-
reflect on this matter, you will give them spiritual gravity.
-
They will stop being spiritual lightweight.
-
They will stop being people who pursue fancy.
-
They will pursue reality in the name of Jesus.
-
Thank you Daddy for answer prayers in Jesus name we have
-
prayed Hallelujah. Don't be left.
