Don't be left in the dark. Get proper understanding of life
-
through the Word of God. My people perish for lack of
-
knowledge. The Word of God is an
-
illumination which gives direction.
-
Remain placed as Reverend was far alone.
-
Illuminates your mind with the Word of God with all simplicity
-
and clarity. Basic precautions the
-
spiritually fervent believers most observe last week precisely
-
because we need to reiterate and take our bearing from where we
-
stopped last week we studied extensively about a man that was
-
simply introduced to us in first kings 13 verse one as the.
-
Man of God. A man of God and nobody will
-
care whether it was young or old, because if you mean a man
-
of God that is delivering excellently well on his
-
ministry, you won't want to care whether it's young or old.
-
It's just been a blessing to your life.
-
So nobody will care the way it was introduced in verse one and
-
behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the
-
Lord unto better. So he's a man of God.
-
He has the word of God. So nobody would care, like I
-
said, whether he was young or old until his juvenile actions.
-
So clearly that he was a young inexperienced prophet that was
-
easily swindled, deceived and destroyed by an envious,
-
malicious old prophet. I pray again over your life and
-
over your destiny that you will not forfeiting of seniors
-
spiritual predators in the name of Jesus because there is no
-
better. Word to.
-
Describe that old prophet that deceived the young prophet.
-
That is senior predator is never a pastor.
-
You will not mistake a predator for a pastor in the name of
-
Jesus. And the emphasis that we made
-
that last week is to let us know that spiritual fervency must be
-
matched with spiritual maturity, otherwise it becomes
-
counterproductive. So we put emphasis on moderation
-
in living a life that is spiritually fervent.
-
And of course, maturity more often than not is considered as
-
a function of experience. But from the study of that
-
dynamic, young, vibrant, spiritually fervent prophet,
-
it's very obvious that maturity is not just a function of
-
experience. Exposure also matters a lot.
-
What do I say matters a lot? Let's poem.
-
And of course, whether you have attained maturity or not, your
-
composure will reveal it. Your composure will reveal it.
-
So for today, we are taking precautions that will help you
-
to moderate your spiritual life and be excellent in your fifth
-
practice #1 is to know yourself inside out.
-
Know yourself inside out. The scripture expect us to have
-
a considerable knowledge. Of our self.
-
Corinthians 13 verse 5 The scripture says examine yourself,
-
whether you be in faith. Prove your own.
-
Selves, the key aspect to it is the one that follows, no?
-
Ye not your own selves now from here it's.
-
Very, very clear that the scriptures expect us to have a
-
considerable basic knowledge of ourselves.
-
So know yourself. Among other things, we help you
-
to tame your temperament and tame your tongue as especially
-
vibrant believer you are carrying power and as a need for
-
you in exercising. The power of God.
-
There's a need for you to avoid the error of the sons of
-
Thunder. Let's take a look at Luke
Luke 9 chapter mention
-
Chapter 9. We read about 7 verses there
-
from verse 51 and it came to pass when the time was come that
-
it should be received Hope, he steadfastly set his face to go
-
to Jerusalem. That is Jesus Christ here and
-
sent messengers before his face and they went and entered into a
-
village of the Samaritans to make ready for Him and they did
-
not resolve receive him because His face was as do he will go to
-
Jerusalem. And when his disciples James and
-
John saw this, they said, Lord without that we command fire to
-
come down from heaven and consume them even as Elias did.
-
I will pause here and ask a question.
-
Let's marry verse 23 and verse 24.
-
No, even from verse 52 OK and he sent messenger before his face
-
and they went and entered into the village of Samaritans to
-
make ready for him and they did not receive him because his face
-
was as though he will go to Jerusalem.
-
That's verse 53 that in Jesus intent himself was not prepared
-
to settle down at Samaria. Are we together and when is
-
disciple? Verse 54 James and John saw
-
this. They said law without that we
-
command fire to come down from evil.
-
They saw the physical part, they didn't see the spiritual part.
-
They saw the action of the Samaritan.
-
But they cannot by spirit perceive the mindset of Jesus.
-
What was not necessary for Jesus, what Jesus did not need,
-
what Jesus will not use, what Jesus will not embrace, what
-
Jesus will not prioritize. OK, they wanted to fight to
-
fight for Jesus. Am I talking to somebody?
-
You see, with spiritual vibrancy and fantasy comes over
-
zealousness. And there's a thin line between
-
over zealousness and fanaticism. Am I talking to somebody?
-
Verse 53 very clear. They did not receive him because
-
his face was do he will go to Jerusalem.
-
They did not receive him is the physical action that they were
-
not ready to accommodate him that they were not hospitable.
-
OK, but the man that these people were trying to resist, OK
-
himself, was not prepared to settle down, be part of, as we
-
say, because his face was as though he will go to Jerusalem.
-
Please in your spiritual fallacy, relate with the Spirit,
-
not just with the physical alone.
-
Am I talking to somebody? There's this high tendency for
-
spiritually minded people on the surface, OK, to be reacting in
-
the flesh, whereas they are not aligning with the Spirit of God.
-
So this men were not prepared to receive Jesus.
-
Jesus himself was not prepared to dwell there.
-
Yet you will see what follow, how some of his disciples who
-
are spiritually vibrant wanted to fight over what Jesus will
-
not need, over what Jesus will not consider important.
-
They want to make an offence out of what Jesus will not consider
-
an offence. Spiritual prophecy.
-
Not properly moderate OK may make you call evil good evil.
-
Am I talking to somebody and when is disciple James and Dawn
-
saw this they said law without that we command fire to come
-
down from heaven over what like my pussy kill like BAE kill like
-
Jew or something like that is somebody following and consume
-
them even as a lie as deed, but in tone I rebuked them and said
-
you know not what manner or spirit you are of.
-
So if you will not misapply grace, if you will not abuse the
-
gift of God as you practice your faith with five fancy OK, you
-
must know the manner of person you are made of.
-
You must know who you are know yourself inside out.
-
So the answer of Jesus to their oversee lostness.
-
They are almost fanatical dimension to the practice of
-
their faith. OK was that you won't do this if
-
you know the kind of spirit that is in you.
-
So do you know yourself inside out?
-
Jesus told I repeat them and say you don't know what manner of
-
spirit you are all for the Son of Man is not come to destroy
-
men's lives, but to save them, and they went to another
-
village. If you understand this message,
-
some of the prayers who have joined people to pray in the
-
past may need to be dependent on those kind of prayers.
-
Some of the people you have worked against, OK, you may need
-
to warm yourself back to their lives because you have only
-
reacted in the flesh, not in the spirit.
-
What you did may be acceptable religiously but offensive
-
spiritually. So we saw that young prophet in
-
the study we did last week, exercising unnecessary power,
-
just as the sons of Thunder wanted to exercise unnecessary
-
power and create crisis for Jesus.
-
Because by the time they call down fire and Thunder and kill
-
people, OK, that society was not without law enforcement
-
agencies. And then they apprehend Jesus,
-
and then they bring Jesus before the judges.
-
Yes, of course, ultimately, as he was going to Jerusalem, it
-
was in the same Jerusalem that it will eventually appear before
-
the judges. And then when they appear to be
-
accused of, they will not suspend any crime to him.
-
But if he had allowed this once to call down fire and Thunder
-
and kill people, OK, Will Jesus be able to stand before the
-
judges with a clean hand? Am I asking somebody or am I
-
talking to somebody rather? So in the same way we find that
-
young prophet exercising on necessary power, in his own case
-
it was not the active power that exercise, it was the passive
-
side of power. He sued mercy that was not
-
commanded. When he showed up at better and
-
he declared the word of God, and a king resisted him
-
straightforward his hand and the hand withered.
-
The man of God responded with mercy that was not commanded by
-
praying that the hand of the king should be restored.
-
And the king said, since you have restored my hand, I will
-
compensate you with a launch. I often say to people that
-
ministry is not doing anything that is good.
-
He's doing what has been commanded.
-
He's not doing things that are popular, OK, that you'll find
-
people are doing and it's acceptable.
-
It is doing what you have been commanded to do, working in your
-
ordination, carrying out your mandate as given to you by God,
-
not as you see it being done by others.
-
Am I talking to somebody? If fail to realize that the
-
anointing can multifate, at that point it's still excellent, but
-
as you progress further you will discover that the anointing can
-
intoxicate you. Progress further, you will get
-
to learn and know that the anointing can instigate to
-
instigate you to do certain things without checking with the
-
giver of the anointing. AM I talking to somebody?
-
What is my counsel? What is the precaution that I
-
recommend? You must not cease the control
-
switch of your anointing from the Holy Spirit.
-
Keep the anointing OK, but let the Holy Spirit have this
-
control switch. This must not be you turning
-
your anointing on and off by yourself.
-
You must be moved by the Spirit of God.
-
As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of
-
God. The day you stop being led by
-
the Spirit of God, you may be deceived, you may be moved by
-
the flesh. You may be moved by Satan to do
-
things that will make you lose your sonship.
-
Am I talking to somebody? As many as are led by the Spirit
-
of God. They are what the sons of God.
-
So keep the anointing exercise the anointing, but let the
-
control switch of the anointing be with the Holy Spirit.
-
Let him use you as it may please him.
-
Let him 'cause his player to prosper in your hand.
-
Let let him beat the control like general of everything about
-
the manner your practice your faith life, and you exercise
-
your spiritual gifts. We have often heard it said that
-
the great apostle of faith, Smith Wigglesworth often say
-
that if the Holy Spirit does not move me, I will move the Holy
-
Spirit. So don't misinterpret that
-
saying. Don't miss apply that words of
-
Wiggles word. Wiggles word was only cancelling
-
against passive faith that you don't live a life whereby you
-
are just there. Whatever the devil dumps on you
-
is what you achieve and then the Kingdom assignment will be there
-
and you are doing nothing. Hello, the devil is messing up
-
around you and you are just an onlooker.
-
That is what Wigglesworth cancel again.
-
Wigglesworth is not saying take over and occupy the place of the
-
Holy Spirit. You are not the Holy Spirit.
-
Say I am not the Holy Spirit. So.
-
What is my recommended precaution in that regard?
-
If the Holy Spirit has not move you, wait for the Holy Spirit.
-
If the Holy Spirit has not move you, what do you do?
-
Wait for the holy faith. Like I said earlier, let the
-
control switch of your anointing stay with the Holy Spirit.
-
The control switch of your anointing.
-
Let it stay with who? Asami Church with the Holy
-
Spirit. Being led by the Holy Spirit is
-
different from being instigated by the anointing.
-
You need to know the difference. There's a difference.
-
Being led by the Holy Spirit is different from being instigated
-
by the anointing. Being toxicated by the
-
anointing. Who is allowed?
-
But don't allow the anointing to instigate you against the plan
-
of God, instigate you against the will of God, instigate you
-
to take action that God will say who sent you?
-
I don't know about it. Hello.
-
If the Holy Spirit is leading you, OK, you will do things that
-
are consistent with the character of God.
-
You will do things that are constant with the calendar of
-
God because it's possible that you do things that are constant
-
with the car out to God that may not be consistent with the
-
calendar of God. Do you understand me?
-
Concerned with the car out of God?
-
Because that's what God will want you to do.
-
But what? How about the timing?
-
So if you are instigated by the anointing, OK, you may be doing
-
things that are concerned with the character of God, but that
-
does not align with the calendar of God.
-
Say, O Lord, let all my actions, all my steps of feet, all my
-
step in pursuit of purpose, align with your character and
-
consistent with your calendar in the name of Jesus.
-
So being led by the Holy Spirit is different from being
-
instigated by the anointing. Then from our comparison of the
-
unacceptable action of that young prophet and the rejected
-
or intended action of the sons of Thunder, the disciples of
-
Jesus, it's very obvious that there is no temperament that is
-
in moon to committing spiritual error.
-
That prophet to me looks more like an introvert temperament
-
person. Every request that is put to him
-
is submit to it. Oh, please pray to the prepare
-
to God to heal my hand. Yes, Sir.
-
To the King. Come over and heats in my house.
-
An Indian has told me that you come and hit in my house.
-
Yes, he submitted to it. You got that?
-
That manner of temperament is clearly different from the Sons
-
of Thunder. OK, we were actually trying to
-
take charge. OK, rather than take instruction
-
from Jesus who are trying to serve Jesus instruction, let's
-
call down fire. So the tendency is there because
-
you have a simple attitude to life.
-
On the surface you look cool and gentle.
-
You know, somebody can be gentle and not make hello.
-
So that does not mean that it's only aggressive people that can
-
commit spiritual error of going against the grain of the will of
-
God. Even cool and quiet people can
-
also go against the grain of the will of God.
-
So you need to know that no temperament is the moon to
-
committing spiritual error. Anger is not the only thing that
-
can trigger abuse of power. Anger is not the only thing that
-
can trigger the abuse of power. When you are overtly tender,
-
that can also make you intervene where you are not expected to do
-
so. It was a response of mercy, a
-
response of kindness that made that young prophet to pray for
-
the king, for his with a hand to be restored without checking
-
with the one who gave him the mandate didn't check properly.
-
Are we together? First King 13.
-
Let's read the first 6 verses. We read the same last week,
-
First Kings 13 and beyond. There came a man of God out of
-
Judah, like I said earlier on, simply, he was simply introduced
-
to us as a man of God. And we will not care whether
-
it's experience or not experience, whether it's young
-
or not young, because his anointing is already a blessing
-
to people. He has the word of God.
-
But his juvenile action was what eventually revealed him that
-
this one was young and inexperienced.
-
And I'm saying that experience is not the only yardstick by
-
which maturity is mayor exposure also matter.
-
Are we together? And that it is your composure
-
that will reveal whether you have attained maturity or not.
-
It came out of Judah by the word of the Lord unto Bethel.
-
And Dirubwam stood by the altar to born incense.
-
And he cried against the altar in the word of the Lord, and
-
said, O altar, altar, don't share the Lord.
-
Behold, a child shall be born unto the House of David Joshua
-
by name, and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high
-
places, that born in sense upon thee, and men boon shall be
-
burnt upon thee. He was highly gifted, and he
-
gave a sign the same day saying, This is the sign which the Lord
-
has spoken. This is the sign which the Lord
-
has spoken. Behold, the altar shall be
-
rained, and the acids that upon it shall be poured out.
-
The sign, OK, that he gave was the one that the Lord has
-
spoken. Then he performed another sign
-
that the Lord did not speak. That went against the grain, OK,
-
of God's judgment upon a king that was insolent.
-
And it came to pass when the king Rabam had the same of the
-
man of gold which had cry against the altar in better that
-
he put his hand. He put forth his hand from the
-
author, saying, lay hold on him, and his hand which he put forth
-
against him dry off, so that he could not pull it again.
-
To him. The author also was reigned that
-
sign that he prophesied which God spoke came to pass.
-
The altar was R.E.M., and the answers pour out from the altar
-
according to the sign with the man of God had given by the word
-
of the Lord, as many as are led by the Spirit of God by the word
-
of the Lord. He did it by the word of the
-
Lord, not by trying to showcase power or impress people or prove
-
to people that it's got the annoying thing.
-
And the king answered and said unto the man of God, indeed.
-
Now the face of the Lord, I go and pray for me that my hand may
-
be restored upon me, and man of God be forced done.
-
And the king and was restored in the game and became as it was
-
before. So one of the ways to avoid that
-
kind of error is to know yourself inside out.
-
So the emphasis we are putting forward this morning is on
-
knowing yourself inside out as a major precaution to avoid abuse
-
of spiritual grief that comes with spiritual fervency.
-
So know yourself in the Spirit and know yourself in the flesh.
-
To my mind, this job provide new serving the Spirit.
-
He knew the kind of grace he carried.
-
OK, and he exercised that grace authoritatively.
-
But I doubt if you knew himself enough in the flesh, and not
-
knowing himself in the flesh to me amount to the reason you
-
could not tame his tongue. We measure it, especially last
-
week, that when he engaged with the King, when he engaged with
-
the senior prophet, he said more than was necessary.
-
He said more than was what necessary.
-
To me. He really did not know himself
-
in the flesh. To know that he is weak, that
-
will fail me. OK.
-
To go academic, there's something they call SWOT
-
analysis. Yeah, if you will apply it
-
properly. OK, one of the contents is that
-
you must know your weakness. It applies spiritually too.
-
So you will therefore be able to put attention on crime to God
-
for the grace to overcome the weakness.
-
Examine yourself whether you still be in faith?
-
Do you not know yourself? So it means the scripture
-
expects us to do what? Know our self.
-
Don't just know what people are saying about you.
-
They may not be correct. Unenulu Manu Unenko, Lumaka.
-
Carry out regular spiritual checkup on yourself.
-
I think we already talked about that.
-
Check your spiritual vitals and be able to know your state of
-
faith, your moral strengths, your emotional strengths, All
-
this. You need to know where people
-
call you what you are not, and they even give you an assignment
-
that you are not capable of. You should be able to know where
-
they push you. Don't push yourself.
-
So he eventually ended up violating the rule of
-
consecration. Why?
-
He said more than was necessary and those information that was
-
not supposed to be leaked out, that he leaked out by himself
-
were reported to the old prophet.
-
If no report went to the old prophet about his consecration,
-
the old prophet may be out of strategy.
-
OK to trick him. It was the information he
-
volunteered carelessly that the old prophet capitalized upon to
-
trick him. I pray again over your life you
-
will not mistake a predator for a pastor.
-
So consecration is to be kept. It is not to be advertised.
-
Share your revelation. Keep your consecration was a
-
very strong emphasis last week, and I'm saying the same thing
-
differently this morning. Consecration is to be kept, it
-
is not meant to be what to be advertised.
-
One of the strength of modern Mary when the in jail met her
-
and announce what will happen to her.
-
The scripture was very clear about it that Mary kept all this
-
thing to herself no be church or church or she didn't carry out
-
for us to chat with her friends. If she has done that, the
-
information will not be properly managed and she will be
-
blackmailed. Are you with me Senweibu?
-
So she Fiasuriha, once they say to you, OK, you must say to
-
another person, it's a strong weakness if you are that type of
-
person, what they say to you and that person must hear about it.
-
Years back when I preached on that topic, I call it aura
-
diarrhea, uncontrollable stool, OK, that is diarrhea, is that
-
not? So?
-
Some people don't suffer the uncontrollable stool type, OK?
-
It is from their mouths that they are suffering diarrhea.
-
Say, Oh Lord, garment grace to overcome all manners of moral
-
weakness, all manners of spiritual weakness, in the name
-
of Jesus. So he said more than was
-
necessary from verse seventh, the first king.
-
And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, I
-
refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward.
-
And the man of God said unto the King, If that will give me half
-
of the house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat
-
bread nor drink water in this place.
-
That was not necessary to be said, for so was he charged me
-
by the word of the law, Say, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor
-
turn again by the same way that thou chemist.
-
So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he
-
came to better. Now they are dwell an old
-
prophet in better. And his son came and told him
-
all the words that the man of God had done that day in better,
-
the word which he has spoken unto the king.
-
Now those sons of the Sinner prophet that were there, they
-
will have just stopped at broadcasting the works that He
-
did had better Are you with me? If He had not said more than
-
necessary. So the Bible now said the words
-
which He has spoken unto the king.
-
Them they told also their father, and that was the
-
beginning of His downfall. That was what's the beginning of
-
His downfall? Is it Baba Adido?
-
Konni Arrow, Mera Kobami? There are many trouble people
-
have put upon themselves. Hallelujah.
-
Hallelujah, Hallelujah. Can we take one or two more?
-
Then what follow was the dining table.
-
He did not discipline his appetite, so discipline your
-
appetite is another precaution. Don't be like the young prophet
-
who honored A banquet organized against his destiny and dispute
-
that inspire that banquet was the spirit of malice, but he
-
didn't know it still force King 30 from verse 12 and their
-
father said unto them, that is the father of this prophet,
-
young prophet that brought the report.
-
What we went, he already volunteered that God said, I
-
should not go back to the way I came from, for his son has seen
-
what way the man of God went, which came from Judah.
-
And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the house, So they
-
saddle him the house, and he rolled their own.
-
And when when after the man of God, and found him sitting under
-
an oak, And he said unto him, I doubt the man of God that came
-
out from Judah. And he said, I am.
-
Then he said unto him, Come with me, and eat bread.
-
And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee.
-
Neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in
-
display. For it was said to me, by the
-
word of the law, Thou shalt eat no bread, nor drink water there,
-
nor turn again to go by the way that thou cameest.
-
I can tell somebody I am not eating without necessarily
-
telling you I am fasting. Are you with me?
-
It is where you tell them you are fasting.
-
OK, that they will now stop cooking custard.
-
They will now go and be roasting.
-
Planting. Because if it is just custard,
-
it may not be as tempting as roasted plantain and roasting
-
fish so that you can break your consecration call my heat.
-
I am not eating. I have already left your city.
-
I am going. God will bring another day when
-
I will be visiting and then you are going to lose me.
-
Let me go. He started to say.
-
That was what the Lord said to me was advertising is
-
consecration. Advertising is consecration.
-
Verse 18. He said unto him, I am a prophet
-
also, as thou art, and an Indian speak unto me by the word of the
-
Lord, saying, Bring him back with thee into the house, that
-
he may eat bread and drink water.
-
But he lied unto him. So he went back with him, and
-
did eat bread in his house, and drank water.
-
And he came to pass, as he sat at the table, that the word of
-
the Lord came unto the prophet, that brought him back at the
-
tune here, and came away. Why will God still not pass
-
through the same predator? Hello, that God used a man of
-
God for you yesterday. If he submit himself to the
-
devil does not mean the devil also cannot use him against you.
-
Are you with me and the crown? The man of God that came from
-
Judah said don't share the law for as much as thou as disobeyed
-
the mouth of the Lord and has not kept the commandment with
-
the Lord that God commanded thee.
-
Knowing fully aware that he occasioned it, knowing fully
-
aware that he orchestrated it. Yet you could with both face try
-
to push it to him that you disobey God whereas it was the
-
brain behind his disobedience. I pray again over your life you
-
will not mistake a predator for a pastor.
-
But camel's back, and has eaten bread and drink water in the
-
place of the week. The Lord said to thee, Eat no
-
bread and drink no water. Thy caca shall not come into the
-
sepulchre of thy father. The hand of the story was that
-
it was eaten by a lion. May I say it?
-
And I want you to hear it clearly.
-
The lap of women, the table of wine and the table of dentists
-
are to be watched against as you carry the grace of God are you
-
move in the anointing. Beware of the lap of women.
-
Beware of the table of wine and the table of dentists.
-
I will need to allow more, more and the name of Jesus because a
-
lot of people, they just want to be involved.
-
They want to be included. I preach about that years back,
-
that character error. Beautiful error of you forcing
-
inclusion. #3 with that man lack which you must possess as a
-
precaution. The spirit of discernment.
-
The spirit of what discernment? Remember Apostle Paul for days
-
in Philippi, a lady was following him and saying good
-
things about him, but those things were being said from a
-
wrong spirit, from a demonic spirit.
-
Man can praise you to your death if you are the time that just
-
want to hear people say good things and good things only
-
about you. Was anybody introduce an element
-
of correction. You block off 1st 1617 and 18 of
-
Acts of the Apostle. And it came to pass as we went
-
to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with the spirit of
-
divination methods, which brought our masters much game by
-
soothsaying the same follow Paul and us and Christ, saying these
-
men are the servants of the Most High God.
-
We see us the way of salvation. And this did she many days.
-
If she were cursing them, will she be able to do it many days?
-
Answer me, Would Paul have cast that demon out earlier than when
-
he did? And if that demon will not want
-
to be cast out, OK, Apostle will have rebuked her.
-
Are you with me? But because the kind of things
-
he was saying were good things. OK, the team did not give it
-
attention, but thank God that dispute of discernment
-
eventually came into play. Its part if this was zament did
-
not come into play it but they will have recruited her into the
-
ministry as would have been ordained and consecrated as a
-
prophet test in the ministry of Apostle Paul because the thing
-
that she was saying were correct things.
-
I mean, but the ambassador we pay Apostle Paul OK, these are
-
men. That's what now that's 17 saying
-
these men are the servants of the most high God.
-
Is it not correct? We see us the way of and this
-
did she many days, but Paul being grieved turned and said to
-
the Spirit I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out
-
of her and it came out the same hour and lastly, you must be
-
spiritually sound half depth that I have said earlier.
-
I'm just reemphasizing it because I'm drawing the cutting
-
on this subject today. Don't be like the sons of Skiva,
-
those seven sons of Skiva, that black personal encounter with
-
Jesus, but banking on the testimony they have heard about
-
the name of Jesus to operate in the power dimension.
-
Thank God for community anointing.
-
Thank God for community identity.
-
But personal anointing and personal identity.
-
We matter a lot in spiritual warfare.
-
Acts 19 I read from verse 11. And God wrote special miracles
-
by the hands of Paul, so that from his body were brought onto
-
the sick handkerchief or aprons, and the diseases departed from
-
them, and the evil spirit went out of them.
-
Then certain of the Vagabond Jews, exhausted, took upon them
-
to call over them without evil spirit, the name of the Lord
-
Jesus. Is it that somebody is using the
-
name of Jesus as a cover OK for his diabolical practices?
-
OK, should be suspected or don't fall. 50 AM I talking to
-
somebody? Vagabonds is what Jesus called
-
them, and they wonder what scripture call them.
-
Let's call them what vagabonds, exorcist.
-
The same thing they are doing in Babalahoustri is what they are
-
doing in their center, but they call it church.
-
So because it is church, you submit sheepishly.
-
So they were calling over people which are devoted with the name
-
of the Lord Jesus, saying we are joy you by Jesus whom Paul
-
preachers and there were several sons of once given a Jew and
-
chief of the priest which did so and evil spirit answered and
-
said, Jesus, I know and Paul I know, but who are ye?
-
Some people are sincere, OK, but they are sincerely wrong.
-
Oh, that was the one where you have to see or was she be
-
wanting be wanting suggestion answer.
-
What does that that would work on
-
So they were using the name of Jesus and the evil split
-
answered and say Jesus, I know I'm poor.
-
I know but a young call, Who are ye?
-
And the man in womb the evil spirit worse leapt on them,
-
overcame them, prevailed against them, so that they fled out of
-
the house naked and wounded. And this was known to all the
-
Jews and Greeks also dwelling and Ephesus.
-
And fear fell on them all and the name of the Lord Jesus was
-
magnified. Please know this because God
-
will so help you that you take your spiritual fabricy beyond
-
just your personal faith life devotion to a degree whereby God
-
will begin to use you mightily. I expect somebody to say mental
-
that. So take note that what is called
-
ministry is not mimicry. Ministry is not what mimicry
-
Minister is not what I see them doing over there I want to
-
replicate. It's not producing a carbon copy
-
of what others are doing. It's receiving your specific
-
mandate and carrying it out in a line with the grain of
-
cosplayer. You should know that there are
-
realms in the things of the spirit that answer only to
-
personal identity. There are realms in the things
-
of the spirit that answer to only personal identity.
-
Do you have a personal devotion? OK, that transcends going to the
-
pastor's office to receive prayer, visiting prophets to
-
receive prayer. Can you enter his presence
-
without knocking doors? Is your voice sufficiently
-
recognized in heaven? OK, that when you kneel down to
-
pray in, Jekyll will say, I know that voice in the last Come
-
again, Am I talking to somebody? So there are rhymes in the
-
things of the Spirit that answer only to personal identity and
-
not to the general identity of Oasis, general identity of
-
Redeem, general identity of CSE, your identity of Select, your
-
identity of CNA, your identity of whichever denomination you
-
belong to. Am I talking to somebody?
-
Have you got to that level? OK, that realm, OK, where you
-
have a personal recognition in the presence of God.
-
This faith is about your name in the book of life, your name.
-
So we will not enter heaven by group identity.
-
We are going to enter heaven by personal identity.
-
So there are ramps in the spirit of, I mean, in the case of the
-
spirit answer, to only personal identity and not to the general
-
identity, in fact, not to patriarchal identity.
-
There's that realm, the realm of the God whom I serve, the God
-
before whom I stand. May the Lord help you to come up
-
either to that realm where you will be able to see the God
-
before whom I stand, the God that I serve.
-
Thank God that your Father serve God.
-
Hello. And there are benefit that comes
-
with that level of faith whereby you can say, God of my Father's.
-
What kind of faith life are you living that can also be credited
-
to you that your own children will be able to pray tomorrow?
-
God of my father, don't you know you're also a father of some
-
children and if you are not yet one that you become father of
-
some children. So if you exhaust all the
-
blessings that the fathers of who that could work with your
-
own children meet. Am I talking to somebody?
-
If I met with my my memory will carry me properly.
-
There is, I came across a piece on the social media years back
-
of a particular restaurant whereby you come in and they say
-
eat anything you want, it is free.
-
And then people were rushing in and they get there OK and they
-
were eating everything they want to, they want to eat.
-
But when they want to exit the room, you must not go back from,
-
you don't go out from the door by which you come in.
-
So there's an exit door and by the time you got to the exit
-
door, there's another information there.
-
OK, pay for not for what you have eaten, but pay for others
-
that will come in to eat because what you had, somebody paid for
-
it. And that is the truth about
-
life. Are you with me?
-
So that realm, the answer to personal identity, not just the
-
general identity, not partake identity, is the realm I call
-
the realm of the God before whom I stand, the form who I have
-
personal identity, the God, the form whom I serve, not just the
-
God of my Father. So it is not over every little
-
thing Elijah must access the door of the God of Elijah.
-
When it was a juvenile, Elijah was a juvenile when he was just
-
trying to take to take to start up OK and pick it up from where
-
Elijah stopped, he got to River Jordan and he said where is the
-
Lord God of Elijah? I never heard him say that
-
again. Hello.
-
And whatever wonder or miracles Elijah performed, Elijah doubled
-
it, but only when he was his starter.
-
That said where the Lord God of Elijah, I'm not teaching you to
-
be arrogant. I'm teaching you to understand
-
the responsibility that support you over the issue of personal
-
identity. So not over every little thing
-
Eliza must I said the door of the God of Elijah, Second Kings
2 Kings 2 chapter mention
-
chapter 2, verse 1213 and 14. And Eliza saw it.
-
That was when Elijah was to be taken away, and he cried, My
-
father, my father, the childhood of Israel and the horsemen, they
-
are all And he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own
-
cloth and ran them in two pieces.
-
He took up also the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and
-
went back and stood by the Bank of Jordan.
-
Even the mantle. Hello, we are as did you read
-
that Elijah used that mantle. Hello, you want to leave by Dwar
-
Kodadwala? Have you come and resort to the
-
April you received from your pastor?
-
Am I talking to somebody? Yes, he received the mantu.
-
He used the mantu to pass the the Red Sea when he wanted to
-
raise the dead. He didn't go searching for the
-
mantu. If you want to take advantage of
-
you and make ourselves look very important and that you can't
-
move our spiritually without us. We will not tell you this, but
-
we're not going to be doing your destiny any good if we do that.
-
If you follow that pattern, am I talking to somebody?
-
So come up to that realm of personal.
-
I hear your voice and they will begin to run up and down to
-
execute what you have asked in the place of prayer.
-
Unless I saw it. And he cried, My father, my
-
father, the child of the official, and the horsemen
-
thereof. And he saw him no more.
-
And he took hold of his own clothes and ran them into
-
pieces. He took up also the mantra of
-
Elijah that fell from him, and went by and stood by the Bank of
-
Jordan. And he took the mantra of Elijah
-
that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is
-
the Lord God of Elijah? And when the Lord God of Elijah
-
showed up that day, he get hold of the Lord God of Elijah, he
-
never allow him to go again. Am I with me or are you with me
-
rather? So where?
-
Where is the Lord God of Elijah? The God of Elijah are there.
-
And we walked away from the Lord of Elijah.
-
We didn't glue to him. So every time, OK, we now need
-
gold, we step out through the door of Elijah.
-
And when he had also smitten the water, they departed, departed
-
either and either. And Eliza went over what am I
-
say? Essentially, what is perfect for
-
you at some stage may suggest another meaning at another stage
-
of your spiritual development. That stage of you, the mantle of
-
another man, that stage of calling the God of another man
-
was perfect for that stage. Hospital development of Elijah.
-
At that stage, it was a young prophet crossing River Jordan.
-
It was only different from an established prophet raising a
-
dead child. Hello, the stage of a young
-
prophet crossing the Jordan River.
-
It's different from an established prophet racing adult
-
child. So if you don't know where to
-
draw the line, prophetic action may eventually become idolatrous
-
practice. You don't know where to draw the
-
line. Prophetic action acceptable,
-
perfect, and God use it as an instrument of grace as a sort of
-
manifestation of his power may eventually turn out to become
-
idolatrous practice. He said that were being bitten
-
by snake in the wilderness. Moses was stood get his Smith
-
and calf A bruised snake. Hang it on a stick and when
-
anybody is bitten by a snake and they look up to it, that person
-
will be made old. And it worked excellently, but
-
Israelites kept it until the days of the king, and they
-
started to worship that serpent until a proverb came and said,
-
no, this is absolutely throw it away.
-
Am I talking to somebody? So if you don't know where to
-
draw the line, prophetic action eventually become idolatrous
-
practice. Izikaya on the day was under his
-
death sentence. You remember the king Izikaya to
-
came out of, I mean to come out of that death sentence.
-
It turned to save identity, not to dividic identity.
-
Are you with me? Such was the case with King
-
Hezekiah, the prophetic officer. Very delicate officer, these
-
people who are quick to call themselves prophet.
-
I really I think I don't think they really understood what that
-
office stands for when God will give you an assignment that you
-
know, we ridicule your identity. Jonah go and tell the people of
-
delivery that they would perish in days to come, and they went
-
down and announced. But he knew that this God is a
-
massive God. And that was exactly what
-
happened when you blame Jonah that he was not had to go to to
-
go to Nineveh and he was running to Tashi.
-
That was what he was running away from protecting his
-
personal identity because he knew God.
-
You know that what God says, you go and tell the people may
-
eventually not happen and he will not be there.
-
Well, go with reversity. Such is the mystery of the
-
prophetic office. Are you with me?
-
If the king became sick, this was sent to the Proverbs, a
-
prophet. Come and pray for the king to be
-
made. Oh, and there was no record that
-
this king has offended God or this king has done evil.
-
In fact, it was a godly king. Few of the king that did well
-
and God did not send a witch or a wizard.
-
So I granted the king that the king would die.
-
It was not a prophet. What if the king has said
-
prophet? You have said I will die.
-
What do we do about it? Because that is your office.
-
I told you last week we are an advanced discipleship class.
-
Who advanced? Have you advanced, you see, to
-
be an instrument in the hand of God and carry grace to minister
-
to people. You think it's it's a small
-
thing. It's not a small thing.
-
No. If you only see the side of
-
Daddy, the man of God. God bless you.
-
Hello. Christmas gift.
-
Birthday gift Ojibwelo. President, Press the name of the
-
Lord. Press the
-
name of the Lord. So it's like Hezekiah understood
-
that that was what was happening.
-
He didn't say prophet Isaiah, pray for me.
-
He excuse the prophet to go. Then he turned to personal
-
identity. Are you growing your face?
-
Then when situation and challenges of life come, you can
-
also stand before God and turn to personal identity and God
-
will say, I have no other option than to answer you.
-
Isaiah 3846 verses in those days was Hezekiah seek unto death.
-
And Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amos came unto him, and said
-
unto him does say, the Lord, say the house, in order for thou
-
shalt die and not live. Imagine the kind of
-
contemplation that that will have gone in the mind of Elijah
-
to go and deliver that kind of a message, not even to a peace
-
hand, but to a king that can say on muti uni, go and behead him.
-
You are not drunk, the king is sick.
-
And that's the kind of message you are bringing. #2 there is
-
here. Turn his face towards the world,
-
and pray unto the Lord, and say, Remember now, O Lord, I beseech
-
thee, how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect
-
heart. It turned to personal identity
-
and I've done that which is good in thy sides and it's a kind of
-
web soul. Then came the word of Lord to
-
Isaiah say go back, go and say to Ezekiel, you know there are
-
issues of life whereby the only minister of your pastor are the
-
things we see when it comes to who we pray.
-
It is you that we pray for yourself.
-
This I had say if you like take it but I pray I and I beg I pray
-
that you should take it. The thing that the pastor we say
-
we only guide you to know the kind of prayer to pray you don't
-
live the life of the pastor Mozu the prayer There are issues like
-
that in life. So you came he said the first
-
thing OK, the king prayed. Are you with me and God said to
-
the pro again, go and say another thing and he says it.
-
So your attitude to the Word of God, we go a very long way to
-
determine how far you go in the sense of the Spirit.
-
What attitude do you have towards the Word of God?
-
Then came the word of Lord to Isaiah saying, go and say to
-
Kaya, don't say the Lord, the God of David, thy father.
-
He didn't turn to the Davidic identity, though he was of the
-
language of David. Are we together?
-
I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears.
-
Behold, I will have unto thy this 15 years, and I will
-
deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of
-
Assyria, and I will defend this city.
-
I pray for you in the name of Jesus.
-
You will become so effective that your fervent prayer we do
-
wonders, that no part of darkness will be able to intrude
-
into your destiny perimeter, that because you are in charge,
-
the devil will not mess up around your family.
-
The devil not mess up again around your business in the name
-
of Jesus. By the reason of this message,
-
revival become your experience in the name of Jesus.
-
You will work in power, you will work in power, you will work in
-
dominion in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the
-
Holy Spirit. God bless you.
-
We believe you'll be blessed by the ministry of this message.
-
You will do well to be the doer of all you've heard.
