The Power Of Worship

We pray that you enjoy the message.

Thank. You.

Amen. It's good to be in the house.

You can keep that going for just a second, just a second before

we move on. It's good to be with you this

morning. I believe his presence is here,

and that's not a feeling, that's a knowing.

The Bible says that when two or more in the midst there I am,

there's more than two people here, Amen.

And I thank God when I can feel his presence and I do and I love

his presence, but I've learned and what I believe the Lord

wants us to learn, that is he. He is there even when you don't

feel him because God is not a feeling.

He's a God. And thank God for his presence,

right? Anyone in services like this, or

maybe you've been in a service and you've sensed His presence

and you realize there's something there.

You know, I remember when I was a teenager, I went to a service

for the first time. I'm sorry, I'm a little weepy,

whatever, but I remember, you know, I grew up in church my

whole life. I'm not saying that to brag.

I just had that, you know, fortunate ability to grow up in

church, right? But I had to find out if God was

real for me. I can't just live off my mama's

faith, can't just live off my dad's faith.

I have to experience God for myself, right?

Because one day I'm going to move out and I'm not going to

live in my parents home anymore. I'm not going to have all the

luxuries. And I have to know God, are you?

Real. And I don't believe God is

offended when we ask him that question.

I think everything should be questioned.

I don't mean we should question the Bible, but you know, but

he's such a good God. I think, I think we can come to

him and say, God, if you're real, show me.

I'm struggling. I don't know if you're real.

I've heard you are, but I don't know.

And it doesn't offend him because the Bible says if you.

Seek him, you will find him. He can find a drug addict,

someone who's been. Lost all their life.

And they're standing before a bridge about to take their life

and they say, Lord, if you're real, give me a sign.

I believe the Lord could speak to that.

I don't believe the Lord's offended by that.

The Lord is not saying you got to come to church.

You got to get cleaned up. You got to put a suit and tie on

it. No, no, he, he's near to the

broken hearted. I remember going to the service

and I'm man, I experienced the presence of God like I've never

experienced. You know, I don't want goofy.

Sometimes we've made the Holy Spirit goofy and weird.

He's not weird. People make him weird.

I want genuine. How about you?

I want genuine. I want the Jesus the Bible talks

about. I want to walk with the Jesus

that performed miracles and signs and wonders.

And he was. Near to the broken hearted and

the prostitutes and the ones that were down and out and he

would lift their head and give them hope and encourage them.

He wouldn't rebuke them when religion kicked him to the curb,

Jesus said there's. More that's the God we serve and

I'm so thankful to be with you this morning.

And I just I, I just want to know that his presence is here

and and I just believe that he's moving us to a season that thank

God we can feel him, David, thank God we can sense him, but

there's going to be seasons in your life.

Listen to me church. There's going to be seasons in

your life that it feels like he is 1,000,000 miles away, but I'm

here to remind you he's not. Because situations and things

will come against you and opposition's and symptoms and

sicknesses and and trials and tribulations will try to

overtake you and the enemy will, will, will send even people

right to to come against you. And it can feel like God.

Where are you at? But I'm here to remind you he's

never left and he's here inside of you.

Father, we thank you for your presence here today.

We just This room is yours. We don't need a sermon.

We don't need, we don't need a name.

We don't need a man. We need you.

May your presence be felt in this room.

May your words be remembered in this room.

May my name be completely forgotten.

Because it is your name that heals.

It is your name that saves. It is your name that raises the

dead. It is your name.

That heals the broken hearted. But I thank you Lord, even in

seasons where we feel like you are not there, I thank you.

You send us the services today to remind us is that you're

still here and you're present, ever ready to.

Help in time of need. That you are a good father.

And that you still move mountains.

Come on. If you believe that this

morning, Triumph Church, can you just shout Amen.

Guys, you can turn that off. It's good to be with you this

morning. Pastor Brad, Pastor Amy, thank

you for allowing me to be with you.

Honored privileged. It's not, I don't even like the

word opportunity because that sounds kind of like cheap, you

know, like I have an opportunity.

It's not an opportunity, it's a privilege.

And so I'm honored to partner with you, to plow the ground

with you. I am a local church guy.

You know, we're from Oklahoma, if you even know what that is.

It's Cowboy State, OK. It's the middle of America where

we live in teepees and, and you know, we, we, we, we don't wear

normal clothes. This is the first time I'm

wearing normal clothes. Normally I wear, you know,

sheepskin. And I'm kidding from Oklahoma,

but we moved to Florida about 20 years ago to start a church.

And I was there 20 years and we started it like this.

It wasn't a hotel. This is actually way nicer than

where we started. We started in a school, you

know, a middle school with, with boogers and gum all over the

tables and all the gross stuff that we had to set up and tear

down for. So I, I set up and tear down.

I, I know where you're at. But, but the, the great thing

about it is this is just a season, but how we treat this

season is so important. How we treat this little because

I found that there are no small moments with God.

Everything he asked us to do is important.

How we treat every. And I found that sometimes we

decide what's small and we decide what's really important.

You know, one day when we have our church and we have all

everything set up and that's going to be great.

But this moment is still extremely important.

And how we steward these moments are everything.

He's a big God, but he cares about the small things because

it's the small things that make great things happen.

I don't run for big things. David did not run for Goliath.

You know what David did? He ran to be faithful.

He was in the field when everyone forgot about him.

He was taking care of sheep when all the men were at battle doing

cool big boy things. But he was being faithful,

taking bread and cheese to his brothers.

And in that moment, his life changed overnight.

How many people? Believe God can still do that.

Amen. So I've got about 15 sermons in

my head right now that we're just going to flow.

We're not. You know, my heart today is that

you. I just, I believe that God wants

to shift some things today. I believe coming to church on

purpose. Amen.

Well, what I mean by that is I believe that we don't just come

on accident. And so again, Pastor Brian, Amy,

it's an honor to be with you. I just love the local church.

I was there 20 years at our church.

We started in a school and we were there and then we moved to

facility, facility, facility and finally got another facility and

I was there 20 years until July last year.

The Lord said it's time to go. And so I quit.

Everything that I knew was comfort.

You know, when you work for a place for 20 years, you have

some comfort. You know, you have some tenure,

you have some salaries. You know, you have things that

you've built up and all these things.

But the greatest place you can be for your family is in the

will of God. And my kids don't need more

money. They need purpose because

purpose will bring them everything they need.

And so I found myself walking through the fields because I

knew, David, there was more inside of me.

What are you doing? What I was doing was was right.

But I knew there was another season ahead and I knew that it

was just. Driving me this, they never felt

like that. Where you know God, there's

something inside that you know there's more than what you're

doing. Not what you're doing is bad,

but you know there's more. And I began to walk in like a

crazy person at fields and around my neighborhood and, and

through the and through the force and just like God, what

do, what do I need to do? And I remember I went to bed one

night and the Lord gave me a vision about traveling and, and

so Long story short, met with my pastor all the things and we

quit. July 1 was my last day on staff

of last year and we have literally not stopped since.

And the Lord has been so faithful and gracious and kind.

And and so we travel full time. We're we're crazy people.

We got a bus. We live in that, we travel in

that. And that's what we do all over

America. And so I'm just honored to be

with you and your country, your beautiful country, your green

country. Yeah, I have my I'm sorry, my

wife and Jonah and Judah with my son Judah's in the back.

We travel full time as a family. By the way, when we started

traveling, it was non negotiable.

They came with me and so we're a package deal.

Sorry. And so they've been on the road

with this full time and it's been the greatest thing.

And so we're honored. Let's go to Ephesians chapter 5,

Ephesians 5:15

verse 15. And for those people who your

hand, who you felt like God was touching you in worship, I just

want to encourage you, man. It's a new season for you.

He came to heal the broken hearted.

He came to heal. And the reason your heart needs

to be healed is not just so that you can live your life and have

your best life is so that you can move forward with the

purpose of God on your life. Because the enemy comes to

steal, kill and destroy, doesn't he?

But what should we do? Oh, just run and hide.

No, but but the Bible says come on.

But it says. Be of good cheer.

Come on, for we have overcome the world.

The Bible says Trials and tribulations will come, but but

be of good cheer. Come on, can anyone say we're

going to overcome? Yes.

And so for those of you whose hands was up, I come on, I

encourage you. It can be the greatest season of

your life, starting now. And you came to this, you came

to the service on purpose, wasn't by accident.

It might have been through Facebook or a friend, but it was

more than that. It was the Spirit of God that

drew you. And so Ephesians chapter 5,

Ephesians 5:15

verse 15, it says this, it says be very careful how you live,

not as unwise, but as wise, making the most of every

opportunity because what the do I need to scoot over for people?

I'm kind of in the OK, OK, I got a big head, so let me make sure

you can see behind me. It says making the most of every

opportunity because the days are evil.

Come on, can anyone agree that the days are a little evil?

Can we agree that things are getting a little crazy out

there? You know, we got COVID, we got

all these other things and we got the news and.

And so if we're not careful, if we.

Keep our eyes. On that then it can really

overtake us if we keep our eyes on the news.

Can I just encourage you don't watch the news.

I'm not an anti news person but I do think less that we watch of

it. Come on.

The less we keep our eyes on it because there is an agenda and

it's called fear. And I found especially I lived

in Florida, hurricane, you know, hurricanes happen all the time.

And it was like every other month in hurricane or every

other week in hurricane season, there was a hurricane that would

come against us. And and if you keep your eyes

glued to the TV and what the weatherman says.

You'd be convinced you were all going to die, You know, there,

you know, get out. You know, it's the end of the

world. You will get wiped out.

Your children will be, you know. If you watch it, I'm not saying

we should be ignorant, but I am happy.

But there is a thing called the Spirit of God that I have to

keep my eyes turned towards Him. And so in this season it says

this, it says there are days that are evil.

Verse 17. Therefore don't be foolish, but

understand, come on, say understand, Understand what the

Lord's will is. Can I just encourage you?

This is not my message, but let me just encourage you.

It is the season to understand why you are breathing.

It is the IT is the season to understand God.

Why am I on this earth? Why have you created me?

What do you want me to do? And the Bible says, I said don't

be foolish, but understand, which means I'm here to give you

good news. You can know the will of God.

He's a good father. He said if you seek me, you will

what find me. He's not hiding from you.

He is dear to people. And when they say God, I don't

know what to do with my life. Will you help me?

He listens. So it says, but understand what

the will of the Lord is. Verse 18 it says don't get drunk

on wine, which leads to debauchery instead.

Come on, try and say instead. Instead, what does it say?

It says be filled with the Spirit so many times we can run

I, I I like how the Bible said wine, but so many times we can

run to certain things like wine or alcohol or other things to

what to try to help us in our season to take the edge off to

to help but to help us cope. But can I tell you there was a

Father in heaven who wants to help you?

He's better than a drink. He's better than a drug.

He will literally come and satisfy you like.

Nothing else can. Oh, he's a good God.

And he's teaching us in this season.

He says you need to understand. But he says, he says, don't get

drunk or don't get distracted or, or don't watch too much

Netflix or don't watch all these things that just keep us, you

know, distracted. I listened to one of your

sermons recently. The pastor Brad was talking

about, about our, our, our iPhones and things how we can,

you know, they're great, but they also can be super

distracting. And we keep our eyes on all

these things and and we get filled with all these things,

and then we wonder why we can't hear.

God, but he gives us an answer. Thank God.

It says instead. Be filled with the Spirit.

Is anyone filled with the Spirit in this wonderful church?

Amen, it says, speaking to one another.

With what? With psalms, with hymns, and

with what songs? Come on, say songs.

Songs from the Spirit. And the Bible even talks about

this. He goes on and says, sing, come

on, sing and make music in your heart to the Lord.

Verse 20. Always, always giving what?

I know Thanksgiving is coming up, but can I just tell you

Thanksgiving should not just be a holiday.

I love Thanksgiving, by the way. It is my favorite holiday.

Why are you guys going to do that here?

I don't. OK, so that's an American thing,

but you've heard of it. But Thanksgiving in America is

like a big deal for one day and then we move on, right?

But shouldn't we be giving thanks to the Lord every day

because he's a good father? It says it says always give

thanks to God. The Father for everything in the

name of our Lord Jesus Christ, let me give you another

scripture, Hebrews 1315, Hebrews 1315.

It says through him. This is the amplified version,

or they call this the woman's version.

You know, all the all the details and all that things.

Give me the man version. Just tell me what it says.

But this will tell you all that it says, right?

It says it says it says. Through him.

Come on. Therefore, let us what at all

times, come on, say that at all times, at all times, OfferUp to

God a sacrifice of praise. Which is the fruit of our lips

that thankfully come on, acknowledge and glorify and

confess, or sorry and confess and glorify his name.

I love that because it says let us OfferUp at all.

Times Notice it doesn't say at church on Sunday.

Come on notice it doesn't say when we come together at our

midweek service or when we come to Triumph Church on Sunday

morning. It doesn't say that It says at

all times. That means even at times at your

house when the enemy is coming against your mind.

That means even when you're in your family and things are

coming against you, when the enemy is lying to you, the Bible

says at all times offered to God a sacrifice of praise.

Triumph Church, I'm here to tell you it is the season to get your

voice back. It is the season to get your

voice because if you read about our Bible, which.

I'm sorry, I, I am a Bible guy, but I left it in Scotland last

week, which is so bad and sad, you know, 'cause I've had that

Bible for almost 20 years and I have like every note.

I don't feel like I can read the Bible without that, you know,

'cause you have everything like. And so I'm Bible list this

morning. But.

It says offer at all times a sacrifice of of praise, which is

the fruit of our lips. It is time to start lifting our

voice again. If you read the Bible, it is so

much. There's so much about music and

singing and dancing and shouting and rejoicing.

I'm sorry to say, if you don't like music, you're going to hate

heaven because right now the Bible says are seated around the

throne of God. There were angels singing, come

on, holy. Holy is the Lord God Almighty.

He is a God of music. I'm here to tell you the world

did not create music. Nashville, LA, Hollywood did not

create music. London did not create music.

Music was created by God. And it is the season to worship.

I know this is not popular, but this is what we need because

there were seasons in our life that we're walking through the.

Valley of the shadow of death and thank God for the word, but

so many times we've wanted prayer to do what only.

Praise can do. God is looking for his people to

start to worship, not in church when we have a band.

Thank God for this. But what about at home?

What about in the hospital room? Come on, what about when

everything is piling up and, and, and it feels like your

world is caving in and it's not just for the bad times.

I found we've, we've, we've, we've formulated worship to a 30

minute set list on a Sunday. But what about at home when no

one's around? Can I not just lift my hands and

lift my voice to God and just say God, I worship you, I

magnify you, I glorify you, not just because he's God, which he

is. We're going to talk about that.

But there's a reason you need your worship church.

You need your worship. I'm telling your worship can get

you through some moments. There's a power and you know the

Bible talks about back in the Old Testament that people begin

to shout walls came down. You know that we search so for

God that can move walls that I don't care what you're facing.

I just want to bring some hope. Today there was a God who in

heaven who was still a miracle working God, and he can steal

whatever the enemy meant for bad.

God can steal what turn for good.

Does anyone believe that? I believe it.

And so let me just as we move on, I'll just give you this

disclaimer. I don't mind if you say Amen to

me, if you shout at me, if you run around this room, don't get

weird. We don't want weird.

But if something resonates, it's OK to say Amen, because I found

that we will go to a football game, a cricket match, a soccer

match or whatever match, whatever your favorite match is.

And I've seen grown men and women screaming their guts out,

singing and dancing. And you ever been to a football

game where you see someone paint their whole body?

In America, we do that, right? They're like.

They call it tailgating. They'll get to the game early

and they'll they're fans, crazy fans.

They'll come in the snow, right? And they're sold out fans, but

how much more does the God deserve our praise?

He's a faithful God. So here we go.

So I want to give you a couple verses of scriptures about

worship. And I want to I just want to

paint a picture because I'm going to talk about two

individuals today in the in the time that we have left, I just

want to talk about two individuals today who went

through some turbulent times. Has anyone went through some

turbulent times? What do I mean by that?

Times that it was like this is not fun.

In fact, when we flew over here to Ireland, it was not fun.

It was turbulent. The plane was like, I was like

Jesus, Jesus, you know, but I, but I don't want you to think,

hear my heart. We don't just call out to him in

the bad times. He's not a lucky charm.

Oh, things are bad. Let Jesus.

No, no, I want to know him and walk with him when things are

great. Thank God I can run to him when

things are not great, but I just want to sit with Him when things

are great and say, Lord, I don't need anything, but I just want

to sit with you because I love you and I'm thankful for you and

you've been a good father. I just want to spend some time

with you because I found when you spend time with God, it rubs

off on you. Come on.

And things become a little bit easier.

Psalms 100 I'm going to give. You a couple verses about

worship I. Think we we we mainly all know

but in but maybe you don't so I don't want to assume but I feel.

Like as a. Church, most of us know that

worship honors God, right? OK Psalms 100, verse one.

Psalms 100, verse one. It says this, it says, it says

make a joyful what? Shout to the Lord.

All you lands serve the Lord. With what gladness come before

his presence with singing. Yes, know that the Lord He is

God. And it is He who has made us and

not ourselves. We are his people and the sheep

of his pasture. Verse 4, This is the great one.

What does it say? It says enter into his gates.

With what? Thanksgiving.

Yes, and enter into his courts with praise.

Be thankful to him and bless his name.

The Bible says enter into his courts not with silence, not

with staring, but with rejoicing, but with shouting.

Again, I'm not. I don't want to be weird.

I've met weird people. I've met weird church people.

We don't want that. That's that.

I want genuine, but I do believe that we have to get beyond how

we feel and get beyond looking weird.

David was used mightily by God and he didn't give, he didn't

care at all what people thought about him when the Spirit of

God, the presence of God and the ark came before him and the

ended. And in the Old Testament, the

Bible says David tore off his clothes and begin to dance

before the Lord. It wasn't because he was trying

to be weird. He was just so thankful that the

presence of God came and he was so thankful that God chose him

and was using him that he began to worship God will use.

Worshippers, yes. And so let's go to one more John

John 4 · chapter mention

Chapter 4. Verse 23.

John 423. This is a very familiar one if

you've been in church for a little bit, but if you haven't,

it's new. John 4/23 it says.

But the time is coming, and indeed, it's here now.

Come on, say it's now. I believe Ireland.

Is for Ireland was. Created for the glory of.

God, how many people believe that?

That this is. God's land.

These are God's people. And he didn't come to establish

religion. Man did that.

He came to establish a Kingdom and he came to establish heaven

on earth. And he is A and he, he came to

establish, I believe there's, I believe even this church, that

this church and others, there are churches that are rising

that it is a season, as your pastor said, it's been revving

up and it's been revving up. And now we're in a new gear that

it is a new season. And I see I hear a sound coming

out of Ireland and it's not a man made sound, it's not a sound

from a pub, it's not a sound from a bar, it's not a a sound

from a band. But it is a sound of his people

worshipping him. And I don't know about you, but

I want to be a part of that sound anyone because people need

his presence. There was a darkness here in

other places as well and there and there can be a heaviness.

But here's good news that the Spirit of God can break that,

and freedom can come. The Bible says that where the

Spirit of the Lord is, there is what?

Freedom. Yeah.

It's better to be free, isn't it?

So much better to be free, so it says.

But the time is coming, and indeed it's here now.

Come on, say it's now, it's now. It says this when worshippers

will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, Yes, and

the father is looking one translation says he's seeking

for those who will worship him that way.

So can we agree that Scripture does encourage us to worship

God, right. I mean, this is not a hard

question, but it it it does encourage.

Us so so, so triumph Church we know this that God loves come

on, we know he desires and that he is worthy of our worship and

we even know scripts so that the Bible tells us to, but also

scripts so that it says he's seeking it, he's longing it,

he's looking for it. But Triumph Church, nowhere in

the Bible does it say that God needs he needs it.

Don't throw rocks at me. Just think about it.

Nowhere does it say that he needs it.

Can I just say this statement? I want to.

I want to break it down. I don't believe God needs our

worship to be God. Think about it, whether you.

Sing to him or not, he is still who he is, right?

Whether we sing, whether we, you know, run around this room, you

know, you know, like, you know, and praise.

We're running around and jumping and shouting and dancing like

maybe we have or maybe you've seen before whether we do that.

Has anyone ever been like a real crazy church service?

Maybe a few, maybe not a lot, but you know, maybe if we have

one of those or you know, or if we just stand here like this,

whether we do this or whether we run jump and shout, he is still

God right his identity. He's not tied to our worship.

He's not like man Triumph church was was quiet this morning.

I guess I don't know who I am. No, no, he knows who he is

worship. Listen, it doesn't change him.

It cannot Why because the Bible says in James 13/8 that he is

the same yesterday today and forever.

So he is who he is, whether we. Get involved or not, right?

Think about this, think about and and maybe you've been in

these. Think about one of the greatest

worship services you ever been in.

Anyone can think of 1 by hands this morning.

I know I'm kidding. But think about maybe you've

been into a really powerful worship service or maybe a

concert. I know you went to CC Wine as

when she came, but but think about a one.

Think about one of the most powerful worship experiences and

church services that you've been a part of.

Think about this. You left different, but God was

still the same. You walked out of that room

lighter come on, anyone You walked out of that room and

courage. You walked in that room like

man, I feel good man, thank God. Look at this.

I feel different and I feel encouraged.

Strength in my head is a little higher and I can do this and and

so you walked out changed, but God was still the same again.

He loves it and he desires our worship but triumph church if he

doesn't need your worship to exist, who must need worship?

We do. It's the season of worship

triumph. Church, you were created to

worship. You were created to magnify God.

You were created to lift your hands, lift your voice.

You were created not not to be goofy.

I don't want goofy, David. I don't want that.

I want to kick that. I want genuine.

But we were created to worship. You were created to lift your

voice and magnify God. Because I'm here.

To tell you when you start doing that, everything begins to

change in your life. My wife and I have had so many

miraculous seasons of God's hand moved in our life in a miracle

way. And it wasn't just because I was

a Christian. It wasn't because I just went to

church my whole life. It was because in the moment of

chaos, I got on my knees. We did, and we begin to lift our

hands and magnify God right in the middle of it.

I mean, I could give you testimony after testimony.

You know, when you follow God, you're going to have people that

come against you. Did you know that Ireland does

not want your church to get a building?

But thank God, we don't serve Ireland.

Come on. We serve the name of we serve

God. And if God be for you, come on,

who can be against you? Yes, we honor the government we

respect, we pray for, but he has the final say.

He has the final say he had not man because I'm not serving man,

I'm serving God. And so that's why you will get a

building in Jesus name can when you agree that that you will get

a building when people couldn't, you will because it ain't you.

It's God. It's not you, it's God.

And God can move mountains. God can work on the hearts of

people. God can can unlock things that

have been bound up for years. God can move on buildings and

when people's hearts say no, no, I'll never sell it.

God can get involved and they sell, but it's not for you.

It's for the people. It's for the church.

So who says you can't have a building?

Who says that you can't, you know, have rooms and property?

Come on. Does anyone believe that Triumph

Church is bigger than this room? 4 people, come on.

Does anyone believe that Triumph Church is bigger than this

building, than this room that God's going to send you people

come on. And families and children come

on and ministries that you're going to have to have rooms and

places to put it. Can we dream that big?

We don't serve a small God. And so my wife and I, we had

some trials, man, man, a lot of. Trials, one of the biggest ones

is when we stepped out in ministry years ago, you know, we

stepped out because the Lord told us to and it wasn't

comfortable. I was working a secular job.

What that means is I was working for a big company, but I knew I

was called Pastor Brad to ministry and there was a season

to work for them. But I knew in my spirit that God

was like, you need to get out of this because it's distracting

you, it's keeping you too busy. Making a lot of money, but.

You're in the wrong. Place, he said.

I didn't call you here to work this job.

I called you here to. Ministry and so you need to.

Quit and I was like, but I got a mortgage and I got, you know,

kids I'm trying to raise one day and I, you know, anyone think

like that? I got a house but God don't care

because. He knows what he's going to do.

He wants to know if we're going to trust him because he can see

past what we're dealing in. And some of you in this room,

you've been dealing with some things, and I'm here to tell

you. We got to look.

Past it and I want to help you seek past it this morning.

And so we were believing God for money for our house because we

needed to pay off some things and I I quit my job like the

Lord told me to. It wasn't like he said Marcus

quit. I don't want to make God weird

and mysterious. I just sense, does anyone just

sense that you feel like God wants you to do it was just like

an inward like. I feel like I got to do this.

And I quit and all the bills piled up, right?

And I'm like God, where you act like you told me to do this.

But we found strength and clarity around our piano every

night. Not because I'm a musician, not

because I'm a singer, but because I'm a believer.

I begin to do, the Bible says. I begin to worship.

Him and give thanks to him and magnify him.

Come on and lift up his name and declare you have the name above

And we begin to sing that. Sing that in our living room.

Because I'm no longer a slave to fear.

Anyone been there before? Had to declare that I am a child

of God. I begin to magnify, we begin to

declare and worship and I'm telling you it's amazing the

miraculous things that begin to happen and how checks came not

overnight, but how God began to move because we begin to

worship. Guys, you need your worship more

than you realize. Worship is not 30 minutes.

Worship is a lifestyle and there's so much that He wants to

do in your life. If you would just lift your

voice, you say I'm not a singer. I'm not talking to singers.

I'm talking to believers. Any believers in the room this

morning? Why do you need your worship?

Triumph Church? I'm going to tell you why

because your worship will get you away from yourself and how

many people need to get away from themselves.

Sometimes we need to come on. Your hands should be up because

your mind will mess you up. You any overthinkers, You don't

have to raise your hand. Overthinkers in there.

I saw that she's like overthinkers.

You're like, I am a overthinker thinking my overthinking.

I think, think and we overthink. And if you allow these things to

loop in your mind, come on and these things, and I'm telling

that's why you got to get away from your mind and you got to

get on your knees before God and just begin to lift your voice.

I'm here to tell you He will come and He will bring clarity

to you. He will bring peace that you

need. You've been running around and

thinking about it and trying all these things.

When is the last time? When is the last time you lifted

your? Hands and just begin to magnify

him. He said.

I feels weird, Absolutely. It does, but when you begin to

magnify him, he begins to get involved.

He begins to get involved. Some of you, there are things

that you're dealing with and God says you don't have to deal with

this anymore. Let me get involved with you.

These things that we've been running around and carrying our

whole life and overthinking in our mind and God says, no, let

me get involved with that. He's not going to come and force

him away his way on you. He's not going to say you got to

worship. Me.

No, no, that's religion. He's going to say, hey, come on,

if you want, come on, I'm here, I'm here.

I just want to talk about two people real quick in the Bible.

We're going to close this down because we just got we, I think

we're going to end about 4:00 and so.

Kidding. It's a joke.

It's a joke. Just kidding, man.

Listen, why do you need your worship triumph?

You need it because it gets you away from yourself.

Come on when you. Realize the power of your

worship. Come on and what it can do in

your life. I'm telling you, you will not

let anyone or anything keep you quiet.

Come on. When you realize the power that

is contained in a shout of faith, when you realize what it

can do in your life, you will not let anybody keep you quiet.

When you know when he's touched you anybody, when you know how

he's healed you. Has he healed?

Anybody in this room? Has he touched anybody in this

room? When you know how he has

forgiven you? How he has been patient with

you? Come on.

How He helped your children, how He came through when no one else

did, how He sent that encouraging word.

Come on. When you think about what God

has done, it's easy to lift your hand and magnify the Lord.

I'm here to tell you it's the season to worship because some

of us are dealing with things and we don't have to deal with

them anymore. Paul was in prison.

We're going to go here a couple verses.

Acts chapter 416. I love this.

We know this story about Paul and Silas, right?

We, we've heard this, David, this is, this is the churchiest

churchy verse ever, right? Acts chapter 16.

Here's Paul and Silas. In prison?

Has anyone ever been in prison? well-being in prison I might be

embarrassing. I've been in prison since I've

been 18, no joke doing ministry so.

Pastor Brad's like, Oh my gosh, who is this guy?

No, I've been in, I've been doing prison ministry probably

before, since almost 1617. I'm I love prison ministry and

I've been in it my whole life until we moved away from

Florida. But I would.

I would regularly, once a month go in, we'd have worship nights

come on, we would go in and God would move in a mighty way.

So I'm like, Lord, call me to prison, I'll commit a crime.

If you want me to get in, I, I. I don't know.

I'm just kidding. I'm kidding.

I'm kidding. I just love it.

But here's Paul and Silas in prison.

Now let me let you know they were not in the prison like

today's prison. Today's prisons, I'm not saying

are all nice, but some I've been.

I'm like. I could rob a bank.

I mean, it's really not that bad, you know?

I mean, you know, some I'm like, one time I was in prison and the

guy's like, hey, what's your e-mail?

I'll e-mail you. I was like, what?

He's like, he pulled out an iPad.

He's like, I'm like, you have an iPad?

I was like, did you sneak that in?

Like he's like, no, we all get them.

I was like, OK, that's different.

Next time I was in service and the guy's like, hey, you want to

see my dog? I was like, what?

He had a dog. A comfort dog in his cell.

Yeah, Prison's way different today.

I'm not saying it's glorious. I would rather be not in prison.

But what I'm saying is that the prison, you know, just want to

just want to get that out there. I don't want to go to prison.

I will pray Jesus name Amen. Don't kid me.

So here's Paul and Silas in prison.

But this is a really bad prison, right back in the day prison.

And here's the crazy thing. They were in prison for doing

the work of God. They didn't rob.

They didn't kill someone. They actually set a young girl

free. There's a story that Paul and

Silas were traveling and there was a young girl.

Who was possessed? By an evil spirit, and some men

saw that and begin to use her for profit because she could

tell the future. It was the Spirit, right?

And these guys, you know, basically trafficked her and

used her and, you know, manipulated her and took

advantage of her and, and traveled with her and she.

Would tell the. Future for money and they would

get money and it was like a good.

Business deal, right? Well, Paul came across here, the

Bible says, and he got greatly annoyed because she kept talking

about who he was like, you're the son of God.

And he said in the name of Jesus, get out.

And so this young girl was free. Amen.

And and you, you would think the whole city went into revival.

It didn't happen. They got mad because now their

business was hindered and they threw Paul and Silas in prison

for setting a young girl free. Do you think Paul and Silas

deserved to be there? No.

Here's Paul and Silas. But Acts chapter 16, verse 22,

Acts 16:22

what does it say? And then the multitudes, what?

They rose up together against them, and they tore off their

clothes and they commanded them to be beaten with rods.

I've never been beaten with rods.

I never want to be but here they're being beat for for

setting a young girl free. Isn't that crazy Verse 23.

But here's the thing. Why did they throw them?

They they didn't understand what was going on.

And some of you some people that are coming against you and

they're saying things against you and you can't take a

personal because it's not flesh and blood.

Hear me these these people when they should have been praising

Paul and been like, oh man, look what you've done.

Let's take up an offering you you have helped us.

They came against them and threw them in prison.

And some of you, I believe by the Spirit of God that there are

people that are talking about you when coming against you.

And I just want to encourage you.

It's not personal. It's not flesh and blood.

And so that's why we can't take things personal, because

sometimes there were spirits that work against us, and the

Bible says that we. Live in a fallen world.

That God, that the devil has blinded people's eyes.

It says that and they walk and sometimes they don't know why

they're doing what they do. You ever met someone who's an

addict and you're like, man, get out of there.

But they they just don't. It's.

Because they need to be set. Free.

They're in there they're in bondage and and and so here here

are these people they're in bondage and they they get upset

with Paul they throw them in prison and it says in verse 24

haven't received such a charge he.

Put them into the inner prison. Fasten their feet to the stocks.

Verse 25. But at midnight.

Paul and Silas were praying and complaining to God.

Sorry, Paul and Silas were praying and they were posting on

Facebook to all their family members about all the drama.

That's no it's. The Bible says they were.

Singing, they were singing, they were singing, they were, they

were singing hymns to God and the prisoners were listening to

them. Verse 26 suddenly Come on, can

someone shout suddenly? Suddenly what happened as they

begin to worship? What happened as they begin to

worship? The Bible says suddenly there

was a great earthquake so that the foundations come on of the

prison were shaken and immediately all the doors were

opened and everybody's chains were loosed.

Can I encourage you, Triumph Church, we still serve the God

of the. Suddenly.

I'm here to tell you, I want to encourage you, we still serve

the God of the suddenly. We serve the God because

currently sickness can be in your body.

But I'm here to tell you, suddenly healing can flow.

Maybe currently family problems and drama and anxiety and

depression and worry has been plaguing you.

But can I just declare to you today that the God of the

suddenly that that, that, that peace can come, that currently

maybe people can be coming against you or currently things

can be having issues, But can I just declare that suddenly peace

and clarity and restoration and direction can.

Flow. Triumph.

Look how they look, how they responded during this terrible

situation. They worshipped, They magnified

God. In other words, they chose.

Let's make it real simple. What did they do?

They chose to magnify God in this moment.

Come on, how many times do we magnify our situations?

Come on, how many times do we talk about our situations?

We post about our situations, we go on Google about our

situations. Now we have ChatGPT about our

situations and we researched and we had researched and we talk

and we post and we worry and we type the church.

When is the last time you got down on your knees about it?

When is the last time you lifted your hands about it?

When is the last time you begin to magnify God?

Right in the middle of it. I'm here to tell you,

breakthrough happens when you do that.

Listen, they didn't worship to get out, they worship to get

away from themselves. And I'm here to prophecy and

declare over you in this church. Come on.

I'm here to declare that breakthrough is coming to people

in this room when you get your eyes off yourself and begin to

magnify God. Come on, God is raising up a

people. Can I even go a little farther?

God is raising up a church in Ireland who will learn to

magnify God right in the middle of the madness, right in the

middle of the pain, right in the middle of the questioning.

But they will begin to magnify God and worship God and lift

their hands to God. And I'm here to tell you, you

will watch the doors open up. God is wanting to get involved

in your life so bad. He's a good father.

I don't know what you've been told about him, but I'm here to

tell you. He's a good father.

He's a miracle working father. He's a kind God, he's a

forgiving God. He's a second chance God,

anyone. He is a he is a God that can

turn to make get your mess and and put you on a whole other

place if you let him get involved.

And one of the ways today that we have to let him get involved

is not just in our praying. Yes, we need to pray.

It's not just in our reading our Bible.

Yes, we need to read the Bible, but it is the season to worship.

Said it before, I'll say it again.

Sometimes we've wanted praise. We've wanted Bible reading and

prayer to do what only praise can do.

There's a time to read. We need to read all the time.

We need to pray. Thank God we prayed here at

10:00. I love prayer.

We need to pray, but also sometimes I need to shout.

I need to lift my hands come on, I need to lift my voice and I

begin I get I I need to start singing because there were

things that happened when I begin to magnify him.

Look what the God in the suddenly came and.

Broke those doors open and everyone was.

Free. I don't have time, but there was

another season. Another.

Story with with. David, when he was facing many

of his battles, God, just I mean, you read his life.

It was crazy. OK, I will.

Yeah. Yeah, I wrote this down early

this morning. There were some people in this

room that you are in the middle right now.

What I mean by that, you're in the middle.

God has promised you something, you know God's will concerning

something, but yet it hasn't came to pass or it looks like

it's not coming to pass. And right now you feel like

you're in the middle. God wants you to.

God's asking you a question. Will you worship me in the

middle? Will you worship me when it

doesn't make sense, when you worship me when things seem like

it's not going to work out, I'm here to tell you it will work

out If you keep your eyes on Him, it will work out.

If you keep acknowledging Him, it will work out if we start to

magnify the Lord, our minds can be our biggest problems.

We try to figure things out, but God.

Doesn't want you to figure things out.

He's too quick like that. He's like, no, no, you're too

smart. I don't want to figure him out.

I want to the Bible says I want to trust in the Lord with all my

heart. I want to lean not come on on my

own understandings. I I want to in all my ways

acknowledge him because the Bible says when I do that then

he will what direct my path Proverbs for.

If we if we, we got to just I'm, I got to.

Quit trying to figure things out.

You can't figure God out. Psalms 34 one.

We're going to wrap this up. I'm going to have David come up

and play something pretty in a minute.

Psalms 34 one, we know this is such a churchy verse.

What I mean by that is this is a verse that we quote a lot in

church. Maybe put this on your fridge.

Bumper sticker people in here, any bumper sticker people, this

would be a good bumper sticker. Psalms 34 one, it says I will

bless the Lord at all times. His praise shall continually be

in my mouth. My soul shall make us boast in

the Lord. The humble shall hear of it and

be glad. Verse 3 O magnify the Lord with

me, and let us exalt His name together.

Isn't that cute? That's so cute.

Yeah, it's cute. Do we have any idea?

Church where that verse was written.

That's why we got to read the Bible.

David did not write that verse when he was sitting in the

synagogue's. He did not write that verse

sitting on the throne. He did not write that verse when

everything was going wonderful. It sounds wonderful, but you

don't hear anything negative. What do you hear all about God.

Do you know that in that season, David was running from a guy

named King Saul who was trying to murder him, David who was

going to be the one of the next anointed kings of Israel.

But you know, he's, I can't get in.

But you know the story. He served King Saul faithfully

and all the things, but there was a season that Spears began

to be thrown at him. And he's like, if I don't go

now, I will die. But he was anointed.

And the Bible says that David was on the run for many years in

caves and fields and creeks and running from a king.

Who wanted to murder him? You think of God, where were you

at? Like like this is this is not in

my plan. This should not be happening.

This is not my fault. You anointed me before my

brothers. Why am I being chased?

Why? Why is my character being torn

apart? Why am I being lied about?

Why all these things that David and he finds himself in a cave,

The Cave of a Dulum? Actually, First Samuel 22 he

finds himself in a cave running from Saul and see we thought we

had it bad, right? And David and probably one of

the maybe the most question anyone have a moment where you

question God like God. Here's David in a cave and he

began to write this and he said I will bless the Lord at all

times. He said his praise, so beware in

my mouth. Think about what David was.

Going through at. This moment, Oh my gosh, this

did not seem like a good time to bless the Lord.

He said, My soul shall make its boast in the Lord, the humble

shall hear of it. Come on him, be glad.

What did he say in the middle of all this?

He said, O magnify the Lord with me, let us exalt his name.

Together. I love verse. 2 Because he said,

My soul shall make its boast in the Lord.

David didn't boast about his situation.

David didn't even talk about where he was at.

David didn't talk about all the problems.

David talked about the one thing that got him out his God.

Guys, some of you. We're, we're, we're dealing with

things. I'm here to tell you it is the

season to start talking about how big God is.

It is the season to start magnifying His name because his

name is high and exalted above every name.

His name still brings healing. His name still brings power.

His name still brings deliverance.

His name still stops the work of the enemy.

His name can still bring walls down.

The things that you've been facing, could it be because

you've had your mouth closed? This is the season to open up

your mouth, not just to say words, but to magnify God.

Some of you need to shut your door, turn off the TV, get on

your knees, lift your hands and just begin to magnify God.

And I'm tearing to I, I can't tell you what he will do when he

will do, but I will say this. He will come and he will get

involved and clarity will come. Peace will come and you can walk

through some of the most crazy trials of your life, but you'll

have peace. You will have joy, as the Bible

says, it's a peace that surpasses understanding people.

Be like how? Are you so joyful How are you so

peaceful but God come on, but God come on triumph church just

the season of worship. Come on David I'm close and I

have I have this verse that I want to share as we as we wrap

this down. Come on, Paul and David had some

pretty monumental could be frustrating seems scary moments.

I I didn't even get on the the verse I wanted to the Bible says

there was another season that David faced another crazy trial

that all the people came against him because he was following God

and all their kids got taken and his wives got taken and those

that were with him got frustrated and the Bible says

that they wanted to stone him. It's a pretty big deal.

But David, The Bible says David. Encouraged himself in the Lord

David. Encouraged himself in the Lord.

What got Paul out of the prison? His voice.

What got David out of The Cave? His voice.

What's going to keep you out of The Cave?

And when The Cave tries when, when cave situations trying to

come up against you, what's going to keep your sanity?

Your voice. Father, we thank you that you're

here in this room. Father, we thank you that your

presence is here. We thank you, Lord.

There's a verse in Hebrews 12/2. You don't need to go there, but

there was a verse that was dear to my heart.

It says Hebrews 12212 Two. It says Looking unto Jesus.

Who is the? Author and the finisher of our

faith, he said. He's the author and the finisher

of our faith. As we close, I just want to

encourage you, God has the final say over your life.

Not people, not circumstances, not situations, come on, not

symptoms, not family members. God has the final say.

He has the final say over your life.

He has the final say over your situation and church.

It is the season to worship. It is the season to magnify God.

I'm here to tell you test him and watch what will happen if

you make it a a practice a practice.

Paul and David made it a practice to worship God.

And I'm here to tell you they did some miraculous things and

he's not a respecter of person, which means if he if he showed

up for them, how many people believe he'll show up for us?

Guys, it's the season to worship.

He says he's the author and the finisher of our faith.

As we close this, I want to pray is that OK?

Can I pray, guys? It's the season to worship.

You can do this. Oh, I'm telling you the

miracles, the miracles, the clarity, the peace that will

come when we begin to magnify God.

I know I gave a call earlier, but David was in a cave and Paul

was in a prison. It was a pretty dark moment, but

I maybe there's some people here that you feel like you're in a

dark moment. We're not dragging this out.

I just want to quickly pray for you.

That's it. I just want to pray for you,

Nick. We can pray for you where you're

at. You don't even have to come

down. I just believe that when we come

to church that God wants to give back, that some of you maybe be

facing a dark moment. I don't know what it is.

I'm not saying you have a headache today.

I'm saying there are some things that you feel like, man, I feel

like I'm kind of in a dark moment or I feel like I'm in a

dark season in my life. I just.

Need you to know your word is worship.

Worship will get you out, but I do.

Believe in the power of prayer as well.

I believe in the power of coming together and agreeing with

people because I believe the presence of the Lord wants to

help you today. Maybe you're here this morning

saying I feel like I'm going through a dark moment.

Listen, I have been there. You know what?

I just came out of one. If I could be super transparent,

probably 1 of the hardest seasons of my life, actually

following the plan of God for my life.

And it is the most wonderful season of our life.

But it's amazing how when you follow God, sometimes people

don't like that. And you have people that you

thought were your family, right? Anyone had that before?

And you're like, oh wow, I never saw that side.

And you get their wounds that you're dealing with that you've

never dealt with before, and voices and conversations that

you're like, I never saw this coming, but God, come on.

But if I keep my eyes on that, I'll go crazy.

But if I keep my eyes on him, he'll help me.

He wants to help you today. Maybe you're here and you say,

man, I'm going through a dark moment.

I want you to know you can get out.

Religion will tell you, listen, it'll get better when you get to

heaven. You just have to.

No, no. But Jesus came and said, you can

be free today. Jesus doesn't come.

Just put band aids on US. Jesus came to set us free.

And the devil's a liar. If you hear this morning, just

lift your hand. You say, you know what?

I'm going through a moment. I could use some prayer.

Could I? Could you be bold enough just to

lift your hand? If it's not, that's OK.

Just lift it up. Lift it up.

Lift it up. Yeah.

Can I pray over you? Can we?

Just. If your hands are up, look at

me. Your answer is worship.

I can pray for you, but you don't need me.

You need Him and you can access Him every single day of your

life and the way we access Him. Guys, I'm saying I see some of

you making your home a sanctuary again.

I see some of you getting on your knees.

You married people, you need to grab your spouse's hand and you

need to have nights of worship together.

Turn off the television. I'm telling you what can happen

if we begin to make our homes a sanctuary and we begin to

worship together. Oh, I'm telling you, God will

get involved, Woo and doors will open up.

Clarity will come. Healing will come.

And things that you've been fighting against.

Come on. I'm telling you, peace and

freedom can come. Come on.

If your hand is up, let me pray for you.

What I thank you for every hand in this room that's up.

Oh Lord, I thank you, Father. Oh I speak healing.

Come on, I speak peace, Lord, they are here because they're

hungry for you. And so Lord you, Lord, I pray

Lord, for every hand that is up right now in Jesus name, and I

say restoration, come. Oh, I thank you for the peace of

God that surpasses our understanding.

Oh, I thank you for freedom, Lord, and I ask you to do a work

that only you can do. And Lord, as we commit to

worship you, as we commit to worship you, we thank you, Lord,

that doors are going to open up. Come on, doors are going to open

up. Can we believe that?

Come on, say doors are opening up.

Come on, say it. Like you, you believe it.

Come on, say doors are opening up.

I'd rather believe that than anything else.

Amen. Doors are opening up.

Doors of clarity. Doors of clarity.

Doors of healing. Come on.

Doors of restoration. Oh, I thank you, Doors of joy.

I thank you for doors of joy. I thank you for the joy of the

Lord is our strength. I thank you, Lord, for the joy

of the Lord is our strength. If I can pray for you, I thank

the Lord that the joy of the Lord is her strength.

The joy of the Lord is her strength.

Father, we thank you for what the enemy meant for bad God will

turn for good. Lord, we thank you that the joy

of the Lord is their strength. I thank you for this couple.

Lord, I thank you. The joy of the Lord is their

strength. The joy of the Lord, The joy of

the Lord is their strength. Father, I thank you for

strength. Oh, I thank you for supernatural

strength. That's not even going to make

sense. It's not even going to be

normal. It's not even going to be father

planned, but Father, they're going to walk in a grace.

Father, I thank you for supernatural joy in their life.

Father, we thank you. This is the season to worship.

Father, we thank you for your presence.

Come on, look at me as we as we're as I'm about to hand this

over. Church is the season of worship.

It doesn't have to happen overnight, but we got to get

there. Oh, I'm telling you, watch what

will happen when we when we begin to magnify God.

If he did it for Paul, if he did it for David, I'm telling you he

will do it for you. He's done it for me.

I don't need just get me alone with God.

That's all I need. I just need his presence.

I need to get my mind on him as I walked through one of the most

challenging seasons of my life. I had to get away from that.

I had to get away from it and I had to get along with God and I

had to open up my mouth and begin to magnify God.

And I'm telling you, I walked right through it.

And you can too. Because we serve a good God.

Amen. Come on.

I said we serve a good God. Come on.

Your greatest day is ahead of you.

Come on. This is the season of worship,

season of shouting, season of dancing.

Yeah, I said it. Season of dancing.

Season of rejoicing, seizing, of being undignified.

That I don't care what people say.

I don't care what people say about me.

Come on. I will be undignified.

I will dance. I will sing.

I will jump. I will shout.

Because you didn't change me. He did.

Let the redeemed. Of the Lord.

Say so, Father, we thank you for your presence, we honor you, we

love you, We thank you, Lord, in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
