  1. You're very welcome to today's Triumph Church podcast.

  2. We pray that you enjoy the message.

  3. So I've been, I've been talking and going through in the 1st

  4. chapter of Ephesians, the Lord put on my heart just to roll

  5. things back a little bit before we go on to some more in the

  6. Ephesians prayer there. And specifically these verses,

  7. verse 11 and verse 14 and verse 18, all right?

  8. And these verses specifically, the apostle Paul is revealing to

  9. us a very important fact, all right, that we have an

  10. inheritance through Christ that amazing.

  11. How many of you have ever received an inheritance?

  12. It's an amazing thing to be able to leave this world and be able

  13. to give an inheritance to your children and grandchildren,

  14. right? But we have an inheritance

  15. through Christ, and it's absolutely amazing beyond

  16. anything that we can really fathom.

  17. That's so incredibly fantastic. Paul makes a tremendous effort

  18. in this chapter really to articulate what it is and what

  19. it is that we realize that Christ purchased with his blood

  20. like this is this is a big deal so big of a deal that Christ was

  21. willing to sacrifice his life and shed his blood for this.

  22. Now like what in verse 7 in Ephesians chapter 1 and and

    Ephesians 1 chapter mention

  23. verse 7, we're going to be focusing on on 11/14 and, and 18

  24. there. But in Ephesians chapter 1 and

    Ephesians 1 chapter mention

  25. verse 7 in the message paraphrase there, it says

  26. because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on

  27. the altar of the cross, we are free people.

  28. Isn't that good news? Free of penalties and

  29. punishment, punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds.

  30. And we are not just barely free either, but absolutely free.

  31. Like absolutely free. What Christ did has caused you

  32. to be absolutely free. This wasn't just some half

  33. thought out plan like God was all in on this.

  34. You have God the Father, you have God the Son and you have

  35. God the Holy Spirit all in on this.

  36. He didn't hold back and he didn't withhold anything from

  37. you. He paid for what Paul is

  38. revealing here in Ephesians chapter one with his blood.

  39. He was serious about this, right?

  40. Like that's a serious deal. If someone asks you, you know,

  41. well, OK, let's make this agreement together.

  42. All right, but I I want you to sign that in blood.

  43. You ever heard that before? Like, that's a serious deal,

  44. isn't it? Jesus paid for this with his

  45. blood, and he didn't only do it to do the bare minimum, right?

  46. Sometimes we, we, we, we think that, you know, ah, sure, this

  47. is enough. Like if, if, if Jesus only did

  48. that, that that would be enough, right?

  49. But he went so much further. He didn't just do the bare

  50. minimum. He went all out, spared

  51. absolutely nothing and I don't believe for one moment that the

  52. same God who obviously went out of his way in creation, right.

  53. You ever been been down to Killarney in the springtime and

  54. all the flowers are in bloom, right?

  55. It's beautiful, it's amazing. Was these massive bushes just

  56. full of flowers. There's trees and one of our

  57. favorite places to to go is the Muck Cross House there.

  58. And they have like a rolling lawn, you know, down the back

  59. and they have these massive elaborate gardens and there's

  60. all sorts of plants and vegetation and it goes down to

  61. the, to the foot of a lake. It's beautiful.

  62. And you look at something like that.

  63. OK, God went all out, right? Like is there anything more

  64. beautiful? People do paintings of things

  65. like that and we're like, oh, wow, that's a beautiful

  66. painting, right? And we hang it on our wall.

  67. I like that. But that's just a replica of

  68. something that is so much better in person.

  69. There's this lake that I, that was near where where I grew up.

  70. You know, where I grew up was in the United States in the, the

  71. top W there in the Pacific Northwest.

  72. But where I grew up there is this, there is this lake, it was

  73. called Crater Lake and it's from this volcano that had had blown

  74. up and over the, you know, thousands of years since it's

  75. filled up with water And the, the water when you see it in

  76. person is like this, this fluorescent type blue.

  77. It's hard to even describe it, right.

  78. They put a, they put a buoy marker down like a red buoy just

  79. to see how far down. You could still see that and it

  80. went down several 100 feet and you could still see that like

  81. the, the, the water is so clear and so pure, you know, and you

  82. take a photo of it, but that photo just can't do it justice

  83. because the color of the water and the beauty of it is just

  84. absolutely amazing, right? So if God went all out like in

  85. creation just for grass and flowers, right?

  86. And birds and a squirrel and whatever else, right?

  87. How much more do you think that he would go all out for you,

  88. right? Have you ever read in Ephesians

    Ephesians 3:18

  89. chapter 3 verse 18 and 20? Let's look at this is another

  90. one of the apostle Paul's prayers in the book of Ephesians

  91. and verse 18. He says may you be able to

  92. comprehend with all the Saints what is the width and the length

  93. and the depth and the height and verse 19 to know the love of

  94. Christ, which passes knowledge that you may be filled with all

  95. the fullness of God and in verse 20.

  96. Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all

  97. that we ask or think according to the power that works in US.

  98. Oh my, my goodness. Hello.

  99. According to the fullness of the power, it says that works in US.

  100. Who do you have living on the inside?

  101. It's no wonder the Bible says greater is he who is in you

  102. right than he who is in the world.

  103. This world has nothing on God ever.

  104. There is no power on the face of this planet that is more

  105. powerful than God. The devil tried, didn't work out

  106. too well for him. He got kicked out of heaven.

  107. Some of his followers, angels that rebelled with him against

  108. God, tried well, they got kicked out with him.

  109. There is no power that's greater than God.

  110. And you have that the fullness of God, right?

  111. Did did I read that correctly? Maybe I, maybe I, I read that.

  112. Where where was that? What scripture was that in?

  113. So there we go, verse 19 at the very end there that you may be

  114. filled with all the fullness of God.

  115. Not a little bit. That's just a, a, a little

  116. partial amount. Like it says fullness.

  117. And what does fullness mean? If I, if if you ask for a cup of

  118. water and you want it filled to full and I just pour a little

  119. bit in there, like are you going to be OK with that?

  120. Right. I said fill it to full.

  121. Pastor Brad, can you do that? Sure, right.

  122. Fill it all the way to the top. Well, that's what Paul is saying

  123. here, that we may be filled with all the fullness of God.

  124. God didn't hold back from you, Not one bit.

  125. What he accomplished through Christ's sacrifice is so much

  126. more than empty religion. Salvation is God adopting sons

  127. and daughters. Isn't that amazing?

  128. The purpose of this was to adopt you into the family of God, not

  129. just the forgiveness of your sins.

  130. That's an amazing part of that, right?

  131. But our sin was in the way of God doing that.

  132. So God had to take care of the sin issue so that He could adopt

  133. us into His family. That was the purpose of this, so

  134. that you could be in the family of God.

  135. Isn't that amazing? That's just the introduction.

  136. The first point is that we've obtained an inheritance through

  137. Christ. We're going to look at Ephesians

    Ephesians 1 chapter mention

  138. chapter 1 and verse 11. Ephesians 111 says in him we

  139. also have obtained an inheritance being predestined

  140. according to the purpose of him who works all things according

  141. to the counsel of his will. And notice here the apostle Paul

  142. says in him, right, your inheritance is not found in your

  143. effort. It's not found in your merit,

  144. your morality, being part of any religious organization.

  145. It's found in him in a relationship with God.

  146. All right, and an inheritance isn't a wage, it's not something

  147. you can earn. It's something that is given to

  148. you freely by the grace of God. It's something given and then

  149. received. Paul doesn't say that we will

  150. receive an inheritance, right? It's important that we pay

  151. attention to the wording. God is very intentional in what

  152. He's commuting, communicating to us in His Word.

  153. And He says that we have obtained an inheritance, meaning

  154. you have it now, right? It's past tense.

  155. It was settled at Jesus sacrifice, sacrificing his life.

  156. And this inheritance wasn't random or or accidental.

  157. The apostle Paul says that it was predestined.

  158. It was predetermined. It was decided beforehand.

  159. God had decided to give each of us such a gift that we can only

  160. comprehend it as the apostle Paul praise that we looked at

  161. last week, by the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, right?

  162. Like we can't even understand it on our own.

  163. God has to reveal it to us because it's so amazing, so

  164. immense. It's hard for us in our human

  165. reasoning to understand what God is actually what he has actually

  166. done, because it's so much bigger and so much grander than

  167. us. Like we'd be like, Oh, like I

  168. said, sure that like I'm fine with just this Lord.

  169. Like if if this is just the forgiveness of my sin, like I'm

  170. happy with that. I don't need anything else from

  171. you, Lord, Like I'm cool with just the forgiveness of my sin,

  172. thank you very much, right? But God wants to do so much more

  173. and He did so much more. And when we realize what it is

  174. that He actually did, man, every day, thank you, Lord.

  175. I just give you all the praise and all the glory and all the

  176. honor because of the amazing things that you have done

  177. through Christ. It's amazing.

  178. The second thing I want to look at is Ephesians chapter 1.

    Ephesians 1 chapter mention

  179. We're just going to read the the the back end of verse 13 and

  180. then go into 14. It's that the Holy Spirit

  181. guarantees our inheritance. All right.

  182. At the end of verse 13, it says that you were sealed with the

  183. Holy Spirit of promise. And then in verse 14, who is the

  184. guarantee of our inheritance and tell the redemption of the

  185. purchased possession to the praise of his glory.

  186. Now, when we talk about the Holy Spirit, a lot of people kind of

  187. talk about him like he's God's sidekick or something, right?

  188. Like, like he's the lesser version of the of the godhead.

  189. You have God the Father, God the Son, and you have the Holy

  190. Spirit. You know, you have God.

  191. Oh, then you have God the son. He came to the, to the earth,

  192. sacrificed his life. And then you have the Holy

  193. Spirit, right? The Holy Spirit plays in such an

  194. important part of everything that God does.

  195. You know, when Jesus, when Jesus died upon the cross, you know,

  196. he, he was resurrected, appeared to, you know, the, the disciples

  197. and well over 500 different people, right?

  198. And then they saw him ascend to heaven, right?

  199. In Ephesians chapter 2, it says that now Jesus is seated at the

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  200. right hand of the Father in heavenly places, right?

  201. We're going to get to that in a couple weeks here.

  202. So Jesus is up in heaven with with God the Father, Father.

  203. Well, who's here on the earth now doing the work of God the

  204. Father and God the Son. It's God the Holy Spirit, right?

  205. God the Holy Spirit is so much more than than just our

  206. comforter in our in our director.

  207. Like he's involved in every single aspect of my life of your

  208. life and every believer on the face of the planet.

  209. He's busy, right? Important part of the Godhead.

  210. But Paul is saying that that the Holy Spirit was sent in part to

  211. be the guarantee, right? You have God the Father sent God

  212. the Son, and then God the Holy Spirit was sent to be that

  213. guarantee and do the work of the ministry of God in this earth.

  214. So you have all hands on deck. All the parts of the Godhead

  215. were involved in our salvation and involved in our inheritance.

  216. Paul calls him the guarantee. Well, what does the word

  217. guarantee mean? And the Greek here it means a

  218. security, a deposit, a down payment, a binding legal pledge.

  219. Meaning that this isn't reversible, right?

  220. Like it's a done thing, can't be reneged on.

  221. In other words, God put his own spirit inside of you as proof of

  222. your inheritance in Christ that he will not renege on that

  223. promise. You have his guarantee.

  224. Then we have the the the third part here I want to spend a

  225. little more time on on this. The last point of what our

  226. inheritance entails. OK, in Ephesians chapter 1 and

    Ephesians 1 chapter mention

  227. verse 18, the apostle Paul says that the eyes of your

  228. understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the

  229. hope of his calling and what are the riches of the glory of his

  230. inheritance in the Saints. So Paul is praying here that we

  231. would have spiritual wisdom and revelation, that the eyes of our

  232. understanding would be enlightened, that we would know

  233. what this inheritance entails. You know, if someone leaves you

  234. an inheritance, you know that you, you have, you know, a

  235. solicitor may contact you or something.

  236. You would have what would be known as like the, the reading

  237. of the will and you would find out what it is that is in this

  238. inheritance. What did someone leave you?

  239. Well, the apostle Paul is saying that that God is revealing to us

  240. what it is that has been left to us.

  241. And it's important that we know because you can't walk in it if

  242. you don't know about it. You can't spend money that you

  243. don't have, right? So you need to know, you need to

  244. know who God is. You need to know who you are in

  245. Christ, and you need to know what that means, right?

  246. Paul's using a lot of legal language here in the book of

  247. Ephesians. And when we read the Bible, it's

  248. always important that we read things in context.

  249. And a lot of what the Apostle Paul is, is talking about here

  250. in Ephesians, you need to understand it in historical

  251. context, because the Apostle Paul is writing this to people

  252. who lived in the Roman Empire. So every, everything that he's

  253. saying, it isn't just something that in scriptural, we know what

  254. adopted means today, right? But when the Bible says that

  255. you've been adopted into God's family, he's, he's saying that

  256. to people who lived in the Roman Empire, right?

  257. It means something a little different, OK, than what a

  258. simple adoption may be today. We need to understand the

  259. historical context. So we're going to look at that.

  260. In the Roman Empire, adoption meant that there was a legal

  261. transfer of fatherhood. The person came fully under the

  262. authority of the new father. The old father's authority was

  263. completely terminated. And that adoption was public

  264. witnessed, and it was binding. All right.

  265. Sounds kind of similar to adoption today, doesn't it?

  266. But there's an amazing point that Paul is making here

  267. concerning our adoption into God's family.

  268. You might remember when, when Jesus was confronting religious

  269. leaders in in John chapter 8 and verse 44.

    John 8 chapter mention

  270. We're not going to turn there, but you can write it down and

  271. look, look at that story later. But Jesus said that they

  272. couldn't understand what it was that he was saying because they

  273. were of their father. The devil is talking to

  274. religious leaders here, right? I keep saying you guys, you

  275. religious leaders can't understand what it is that I'm

  276. saying because you're of your father, the devil.

  277. Well, that alone is probably a good reason for them to not like

  278. him and seek to stone him, right?

  279. I could you say anything a little more insulting to the

  280. religious leaders than saying your father's the devil, right?

  281. But that's what he said to them, didn't he?

  282. But the point that he's making is that anyone who's outside of

  283. the salvation of Jesus isn't of God, right?

  284. They're of the Father, the devil.

  285. There's only two families. There's God's family, and then

  286. there's the devil's family. You belong to one or the other.

  287. That's just how it is. There is no other family, just

  288. those two families. God said in Deuteronomy chapter

    Deuteronomy 30 chapter mention

  289. 30 and verse 19, He said that I have set before you life and

  290. death, blessing and cursing, but choose life that both you and

  291. your descendants may live. What is he saying here?

  292. Essentially he's saying choose which family you want to live

  293. in. Do you want to choose the family

  294. that's blessing and life, or do you want to choose the family

  295. that's death and cursing, right? And some people, they're a

  296. little thick in the head and they're not really sure.

  297. So God goes on to say, well, choose the family of life.

  298. OK, in case you're not sure, in case you're like, oh, I don't

  299. know. I should probably flip a coin

  300. and and see like choose life. It should be an easy choice,

  301. right? We know John 1010 and the

  302. amplified version, it says the thief comes only to steal, to

  303. kill and to destroy. That's the devil, right?

  304. He comes in order to steal, to kill and destroy.

  305. But Jesus says, I have come that they may have life, may enjoy

  306. life and have it in abundance. God always goes above and

  307. beyond. He doesn't shortchange us,

  308. right? He doesn't just go halfway.

  309. He says when you give, I'll give back to you.

  310. And what does he go on to say? I'll give back to you.

  311. Press down, shaken together and running over, right?

  312. God does everything in abundance.

  313. Well, how come I don't see that in my life?

  314. It's probably because you're limiting him from doing that.

  315. Before he can fill that cup up, you're pulling it away.

  316. That's enough, Lord, right? And how do we do that?

  317. We can do that through our words.

  318. We can do that what we what we believe, right?

  319. We can either go all in with God and have that above and beyond,

  320. right? Anything that we can comprehend

  321. or imagine that pressed down, shaken together and running over

  322. in our life. Or we can choose just to have

  323. 1/2 full glass. That's up to us.

  324. He'll give us whatever we allow Him to give us, you know, But

  325. He's standing there with that picture.

  326. Come on. Like, just believe me for that.

  327. Just trust me for that. Just have enough faith for that.

  328. I'm just waiting. Come on, right?

  329. He's waiting on us. He wants to give it to overflow.

  330. But when God adopts you, your former father, the devil, don't

  331. be offended. And his inheritance, sin, death,

  332. and destruction now has no legal claim on you.

  333. You've been adopted, right? You're in God's family now.

  334. The devil now has no legal claim on your life.

  335. Here's some more historical context of adoption in the Roman

  336. Empire. The old life was legally erased.

  337. Under Roman law, adoption meant total discontinuity of the past.

  338. That means that all former debts were canceled.

  339. Isn't that cool, man? I'd like that.

  340. Just in my regular life. Hey, I don't know anything on my

  341. credit card. Yeah, all right.

  342. All prior legal obligations were nullified.

  343. The person's previous identity no longer existed in the law.

  344. What does that mean? This is why the Apostle Paul

  345. repeatedly uses language like old man and new man, the old you

  346. to used to be that no longer exists, been legally wiped out

  347. by the blood of Jesus. Right now you put on the new

  348. man. Read in Ephesians chapter 4.

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  349. Read in Colossians chapter 3. Read in Romans chapter 6.

Colossians 3 chapter mention Romans 6 chapter mention

  350. Paul also uses language like you died right in Colossians chapter

    Colossians 2 chapter mention

  351. 2. In Colossians chapter 3 he talks

    Colossians 3 chapter mention

  352. about you died with Christ. The old you because you've been

  353. adopted into God's family, a new life.

  354. The old is completely different. When the apostle Paul in Two

  355. Corinthians 517 says that you are a new creation, old things

  356. have passed away right? Because legally, they no longer

  357. exist. You are a new creation.

  358. All things are new. Why?

  359. Because you've been adopted into God's family.

  360. So when the devil tries to bring condemnation to you, tries to

  361. bring up your past, right, he's bringing that up of someone who

  362. no longer exists anymore. Isn't that good news?

  363. You are a new creation. All things have become new

  364. legally. Jesus paid for it with his

  365. blood. That's how serious he was about

  366. this. These are not metaphors of self

  367. improvement, but these are legal descriptions of adoption and the

  368. Roman Empire. The adopted person received full

  369. inheritance rights. An adopted person became a full

  370. heir equal to the biological children.

  371. What does that mean? I'm about ready to blow up up

  372. here. I got angrily, like, so excited.

  373. Like, what does that mean? Like full inheritance, right?

  374. Oh, man, come on. What's an interesting fact is,

  375. is that adoption, like these days is more, you know, like

  376. younger people, children, you know, or, or youth or something

  377. along on those lines. Back in those days, in the Roman

  378. times, it was adults, right? How many of us are adults?

  379. And what's interesting about that is, is you were adopted not

  380. as not as not as children. It's a, it's a little different.

  381. You were adopted into a family because you were taking on that

  382. status of that family, right? You were taking on the

  383. responsibility of that family, the inheritance of that family,

  384. representation of the Father's name in that family, because

  385. you're now a child of that family, right?

  386. Well, you've been adopted into the family of God, who's your

  387. heavenly Father. You take on that status, that

  388. responsibility in the family, the inheritance, the

  389. representation. The apostle Paul says that we

  390. are ambassadors for Christ, right?

  391. We're taking on the representation of our Father

  392. with the adoption, the person that immediately carries the

  393. family name, the family honor, the family authority.

  394. Come on and get this. Adoption was irrevocable.

  395. Roman adoption was permanent. The devil can't take away your

  396. salvation. The devil can't take away your

  397. inheritance. You can give it away right, but

  398. the devil cannot take it away from you.

  399. It is irrevocable. You have a legal right to it by

  400. the blood of Christ. And check this out, a biological

  401. son could be disowned, but an adopted son could not.

  402. So when we look in Scripture and we say, ah, we're just an

  403. adopted child into God's family, you know, You know, when you

  404. understand what adoption into God's family actually means,

  405. that means that God will never, ever discard you.

  406. He can't legally discard you. That's good news.

  407. That's security, right? The Holy Spirit was sent to be

  408. that guarantee. Guarantee that God will never,

  409. ever, ever take away any of this inheritance from you.

  410. Because He's a good father, isn't he?

  411. His will is always what? Good and pleasing and perfect,

  412. right? You, His thoughts towards you

  413. are only ever good and pleasing and perfect.

  414. Are you beginning to see the immensity of what the Apostle

  415. Paul was praying for you and revealing to the Ephesians

  416. church and to all believers here like this is huge.

  417. He's revealing the immensity of God's will for you that you've

  418. been adopted into God's family. And I want to end this morning

  419. with this bombshell found in Romans chapter 8 and verse 17.

    Romans 8 chapter mention

  420. If you're a religious person, this may make you a little

  421. angry, but don't be angry at me because this is scripture, all

  422. right? It's in the Bible.

  423. Romans chapter 8 and verse 17 says, And since we are his

    Romans 8 chapter mention

  424. children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ,

  425. we are heirs of God's glory and the new King James Version.

  426. It says that we are joint heirs with Christ in Ephesians chapter

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  427. 2. It's going to go on say and

  428. we're going to get into a couple weeks that that we're seated

  429. together with Christ in heavenly places.

  430. That's because we're joint heirs with Christ.

  431. Well, what does that mean? You know, mate, when we read

  432. that sometimes it may be like, oh, well, that's that's a cool

  433. fact. We're joint heirs with Christ,

  434. right. But when we have an

  435. understanding of what that actually, actually means in

  436. context of what the apostle Paul is revealing here in Ephesians

  437. chapter one, that we've been adopted into God's family, that

  438. we have an inheritance in God through Christ, right?

  439. And that it didn't just stop with the forgiveness of our

  440. sins, right? It encompasses everything in our

  441. lives, every part When Scripture says that by Christ's stripes we

  442. are healed right, What does it mean by that?

  443. I guess he just like, you know, dangling, you know, you ever go

  444. to the zoo and have like a banana?

  445. You have like the the gorilla behind the glass and you just

  446. dangle a dangle a banana in front of the gorilla and he gets

  447. angry right And he like hits the hits the glass and he can't get

  448. that banana. You're just taunting him.

  449. Is that what God is doing to us saying by Christ's stripes that

  450. we're healed. He's just dangling a banana in

  451. front of us, but we can't actually take possession of

  452. that. How cruel is that the kind of

  453. God that you serve? No, when He says that I will

  454. supply all your need according to His riches and glory through

  455. Christ Jesus, what is he saying? He's saying that that's from our

  456. inheritance. He will provide for all of our

  457. need. Why?

  458. Because we are an adopted child of God.

  459. He is our heavenly Father. And what heavenly Father isn't

  460. going to give their children good gifts?

  461. What kind of what kind of father isn't going to provide for their

  462. children? Not a good father, right?

  463. But we serve a good Father whose will for us is only ever good

  464. and pleasing and perfect. Scripture says that all things

  465. He'll work all things to our good.

  466. All things work to the good for those who love them.

  467. Well, do you love God, right? Oh, wow.

  468. OK, well, let's just close our Bibles.

  469. We'll just say right there, maybe I need to do an altar call

  470. this morning. Right?

  471. And pray for all of you. We'll have a laying on the hands

  472. of service here, you know, maybe get some of you saved.

  473. How many of you love God? A few more hands.

  474. Oh, good. I thought I was in the wrong

  475. church this morning. If you love God, Scripture says

  476. that He will turn all things to your good meaning to your

  477. benefit, right? That doesn't mean you're not

  478. going to go through trials and tribulations.

  479. Jesus said himself that we're going to experience trials and

  480. tribulations in this life, right?

  481. But He's going to, if we will walk with him, put our faith and

  482. trust in Him, and continue with him.

  483. He promises us that He's going to turn all those things that

  484. the devil's trying to come into our lives to steal, to kill and

  485. cause destruction, that He's going to turn those things and

  486. work them out towards our good. Hey, man, we serve a good God.

  487. You're adopted children of God. You have an inheritance in

  488. Christ. You have the Spirit of God

  489. living on the inside as a guarantee of that man.

  490. You're in a good position, right?

  491. You're seated in a good position.

  492. And we should be so thankful for everything that God is doing in

  493. our lives, Amen. This is because we sit secure as

  494. His children. That's so amazing.

  495. You look back for some of us, like me, it's a little bit

  496. farther back than than maybe some of you like when you were a

  497. child. But how many cares, How many

  498. burdens did you shoulder when you were little?

  499. You didn't care about anything. You didn't have a have a thought

  500. about anything. Most of us, because we had

  501. parents that took care of us, we didn't have to think about those

  502. things because they thought about those things, right?

  503. When we're a child of God, we have such security.

  504. The Bible says seek ye first the Kingdom of God and his

  505. righteousness, and he'll take care of all your need.

  506. He goes. Jesus talks about in that

  507. chapter, you know, look at like the birds of the air, the

  508. flowers of the field, right? If God can take care of those

  509. things, don't you think that he can take care of you?

  510. Don't worry about tomorrow. You know, speak God's word over

  511. tomorrow, pray over tomorrow, but don't worry about it.

  512. Worry never accomplishes anything except a bad night's

  513. sleep, but faith, trust in God, and leaning into your

  514. inheritance, that'll give you a good night's sleep, won't it?

  515. Amen. Well, let's pray.

  516. Dear heavenly Father. Lord, I'm so thankful for what

  517. you've done for all of us, Lord, sending your Son Jesus to die

  518. upon the cross, sending the Holy Spirit as the guarantee of our

  519. salvation of our inheritance through him.

  520. Lord, I'm so thankful for what you're doing in each and every

  521. life here. Lord, 2026 is going to be an

  522. amazing, amazing, amazing year for those who put their trust in

  523. you, Lord, for those who put your their faith in you, Father,

  524. 'cause you're our a good Father, good and pleasing and perfect,

  525. Lord. And I just thank you, Lord, that

  526. you help us walk out this year in faith and in diligence to

  527. you, Lord, diligent to your word, diligent to to hear your

  528. voice and follow it and be obedient to it.

  529. Lord, I thank you for your goodness in our lives, your

  530. mercy in our lives, your grace in our lives, your favor upon us

  531. that surrounds us like a shield. Lord, Father, I thank you for

  532. your health in our lives. Thank you that you provide all

  533. of our need. Lord, whatever it is that we

  534. have need of, that you provided according to your riches and

  535. glory and that inheritance that you've given us through Christ

  536. Jesus, so thankful for it. Lord, we just give you all the

  537. praise and all the glory and all the honor in Jesus name.
