  1. You're very welcome to today's Triumph Church podcast.

  2. We pray that you enjoy the message we've been going

  3. through. The The Book of.

  4. Ephesians kind of verse by verse by verse, and this isn't

  5. something that I've really done. Before, like just go through a

  6. a. Book in the Bible and and go.

  7. Verse by verse. Through that, you know, but it's

  8. something that I really felt strongly going into the she knew

  9. year 202026 that the Lord really put it on my heart and Ephesians

  10. is an absolute. Lutely amazing book, so packed

  11. with just. Amazing truths and reality.

  12. Of God's. Word and what?

  13. Christ has purchased for us. Upon the cross and what God has

  14. purposed. Before the.

  15. Beginning of the world before the Foundation of of time.

  16. Here like he's. Purposed and had all of these

  17. things in place that we've been been learning about here it's

  18. been really cool last. Week we discussed the.

  19. Ephesians chapter 2 moved into the 2nd chapter, Ephesians

Ephesians 2 chapter mention Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  20. chapter 2 and verse one and three and we talked about God

  21. moving us from death. To to life.

  22. Right. And this week we're going to be

  23. looking at Ephesians chapter 2 and verses 4 through 10.

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  24. And this is really God's intervention in our

  25. helplessness, all right. So let's read together.

  26. Ephesians chapter 2 and verses 4 through 10.

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  27. I'm going to be reading these from the New King James Version

  28. starting in verse 4. It says, but God, who is rich in

  29. mercy. Because of his great.

  30. Love with? Which he loved us.

  31. Even when we were dead in trespasses in verse 5 made us

  32. alive together with Christ. By grace, you have been saved in

  33. verse 6 and raised. Us up together.

  34. And made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus

  35. that in the ages to come. He might show the exceeding

  36. riches of His grace. In his kindness toward us in

  37. Jesus Christ. For by grace, you.

  38. Have been saved. Through faith.

  39. And not. That of yourselves, for it is a

  40. gift of God. Verse 9.

  41. It's not of works, lest anyone should boast.

  42. For we are his. Workmanship created in.

  43. Christ Jesus for good. Works which God prepared

  44. beforehand that we should walk in them.

  45. It's rich, isn't it? There's 2 words.

  46. In Scripture that changes everything. 2 words that

  47. interrupt our helplessness. 2 words that rewrite our destiny.

  48. 2 words. That step into the.

  49. The. Hopelessness of our human

  50. failure and introduce. God's mercy and God's love to

  51. us. And those. 2 words are but God,

  52. but God we have all. These things happening around.

  53. Us, but God. Ephesians 2 begins with.

  54. Paul reminding the believers of. Who they were before Christ.

  55. We looked at this last week. We were spiritually.

  56. Dead we were enslaved to sin we were influenced by the devil and

  57. separated from. God, it's a pretty helpless

  58. situation, isn't it? Pretty hopeless situation, but.

  59. Then like a lightning bolt. Verse 4.

  60. Arrives and changes everything. So I want us to read verse four

  61. in the amplified classic version.

  62. All right. And the first point we're going

  63. to be going into? Is but God.

  64. All right now, years ago when I was.

  65. Going to Bible school. I was house sitting for for a

  66. friend and I was, you know, sitting sitting in a room and I

  67. was reading scripture and I was reading in the the amplified

  68. classic version and I was going through.

  69. The book of Ephesians. And I came.

  70. To Ephesians chapter 2. Four.

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  71. And it literally almost felt like lightning hit me like

  72. there. God gave me.

  73. Some. Revelation about what he did,

  74. what he purposed. And it's changed changed me ever

  75. since. Listen when the.

  76. Holy Spirit speaks. To you something when he gives

  77. you revelation. Of God's Word.

  78. That changes you. And you know it.

  79. Was from God and so I'm reading here in in in Ephesians chapter

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  80. 2 and verse four in the amplified classic version and it

  81. said. But God so rich is he in mercy

  82. because of? And in order.

  83. To satisfy the great. And wonderful and intense.

  84. Love with which he loved us. That's an absolutely amazing

  85. scripture, this scripture. Right here.

  86. If you want to know if anyone ever asked Pastor Bradley.

  87. What is your favorite scripture? In the entire Bible.

  88. This is it. Ephesians chapter 2.

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  89. And verse. 4 But God so rich. Is he in mercy?

  90. Because of. And in order to.

  91. Satisfy the great. And wonderful and intense.

  92. Love with which? He loved us.

  93. Now notice how the Apostle Paul. Describes God here, he says, so

  94. rich is he in mercy. This isn't how the world

  95. describes God, is it? A world may describe.

  96. God and think. Of God as harsh as cruel.

  97. As demanding as. Maybe trying to control their

  98. lives, right? And they think this false

  99. narrative because they don't actually know God.

  100. They don't understand the message.

  101. Of the glory of Christ. They're unable.

  102. To to see who God is. And why is that?

  103. The only God. That they know.

  104. Is the God of this world the devil?

  105. And so that's who they're attributing the characteristics

  106. to God as. But it's that's not God at all,

  107. is it the apostle Paul? Explains us in Two Corinthians

  108. in chapter 4 and verse four in the New Living Translation when

  109. he says this. He says.

  110. Satan, who is the God? Of this world.

  111. Has blinded the minds of those who don't believe, for they are

  112. unable. To see the glorious light.

  113. Of the good news, they don't understand this message.

  114. About the glory of Christ, who is the.

  115. Exact likeness of God and we can see this all around us, can't

  116. we? How the devil has blinded the

  117. minds of. People that we know.

  118. They're unable. To to see who God really is.

  119. But the light of the gospel penetrates.

  120. That blindness. Each of us here probably had

  121. someone share the good news, the gospel that Jesus came not to

  122. judge us but to save us, that he's a loving God, that he's a.

  123. Forgiving God that his kindness. Draws.

  124. Us to him. The light of the gospel

  125. penetrates that blindness. Listen to verse 6 of that same

  126. that same chapter, 2 Corinthians chapter 4 and verse 6 and it

    2 Corinthians 4 chapter mention

  127. says. But God, who said, let there be

  128. light. In the darkness has made this

  129. light shine in our. Hearts so we could.

  130. Know the glory of God that is seen in the face.

  131. Of Jesus Christ, wherever the gospel, the good news.

  132. Of the freedom of Jesus. Christ is shared the Holy

  133. Spirit. Is able to penetrate that

  134. blindness, that darkness that the devil is.

  135. Trying to keep people from hearing the gospel.

  136. From having an understanding. Of the Gospel.

  137. From from. Knowing what it is that Christ

  138. has done, but the devil. Can't stop that, right?

  139. And how? Do people hear the good news?

  140. How do people know this gospel? How many?

  141. Of us here. Had someone.

  142. Share the gospel this good news to us like let.

  143. Me see your hands most of us, right, Someone shared.

  144. The good news with us? It could be through a podcast,

  145. It could be. Through some programming on.

  146. On YouTube. Or on on television.

  147. It could be from a neighbor, it could be.

  148. From a family member, right? But someone shared this good.

  149. News with us this good news about Christ.

  150. And that's how we came to know him.

  151. Otherwise, none of us would be here, would we?

  152. Wherever the gospel is preached, that light.

  153. Is shown now back to Ephesians chapter 4.

    Ephesians 4 chapter mention

  154. Paul says. But God so rich.

  155. Ephesians 2. Yeah, Ephesians 2 and verse 4.

  156. Paul says. But God so rich.

  157. Is he in mercy? That word rich means abundant,

  158. it means overflowing, it means inexhaustible.

  159. So Paul is saying that mercy is not something.

  160. That that God gives occasionally, but it.

  161. Flows from who? He.

  162. Is it's something? That is, is there?

  163. In abundance. Like a mighty river.

  164. Flowing in our lives. But God so rich is he.

  165. In Mercy. But then he goes on to say.

  166. This because of. And in order to.

  167. Satisfy that great and. Wonderful and intense love.

  168. With which he loved us. Humanity became.

  169. Spiritually dead through their rebellious pride, right?

  170. Our decision to disobey God and choose to.

  171. Do what we wanted to do, what we thought was right, what we

  172. thought was best. And that decision has.

  173. Been really an epic. Failure for humanity.

  174. But because of God's love. And in order.

  175. To satisfy that love, he couldn't simply sit idly by.

  176. And do nothing if one of my children made a mess.

  177. Of of their lives, it would be incredibly difficult for me to

  178. sit idly by. And do nothing.

  179. I would really do really whatever it takes.

  180. To try to get them out of that situation, if their life was was

  181. in was in peril, Then I'd become, what's his name, Liam

  182. Neeson and you know, and and I'd go get them right.

  183. I would do whatever it takes to save my.

  184. Children I could not. Sit idly by because I love.

  185. Them. Because I care.

  186. For them and God. Could have just wiped out.

  187. Humanity and said, ah, they're a bunch of Egypt's, what's wrong

  188. with them? Right, But no.

  189. He loves us in order to satisfy that great.

  190. And wonderful and intense. Love with which he loved us

  191. it's. Hard to fathom that kind of

  192. love, isn't it? Love that, so sacrificial.

  193. That God would send his one and only Son who was.

  194. Perfect who was, righteous who was without?

  195. Sin to die on our. Behalf, but that's the love of

  196. our God. Isn't it love that?

  197. Had to be satisfied. In.

  198. Order to satisfy that great and wonderful love, his love like.

  199. Demanded like put a demand on. God to do.

  200. Something to. Rescue his children.

  201. That's an amazing love. Isn't it?

  202. Like as a as an earthly father, I would do something similar if

  203. my child was in the middle of the street and I saw a bus

  204. coming, you know, like I'd, I'd push them out of the way and put

  205. myself in harm's way for them. Like I.

  206. I would I would take that hit. From the bus so that.

  207. They could be saved right Which? What parent wouldn't do?

  208. That for the child, why would we expect?

  209. Anything less from our heavenly? Father from God, whose love

  210. every, all of our love. Is based upon his love.

  211. We wouldn't even know. What love is without God, right?

  212. So this this verse here. In Ephesians.

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  213. Chapter 2 and verse 4 like it just it just.

  214. Paints a different picture that we can read.

  215. John 316 For God so loved the world that he gave his only

  216. begotten Son, and whoever believes in him, you know, will

  217. not perish, but have everlasting life.

  218. But Ephesians. Chapter 2 Four Like takes this

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  219. to a totally different level. The intense love.

  220. In order to satisfy that love, the greatness of his love.

  221. Like that's pretty expressive, isn't it, when you look at

  222. yourself? In the mirror, right?

  223. Sometimes God loves me. You know Jesus loves me this.

  224. I know we sing that song, right? We know that song.

  225. But when we sing that, I don't know.

  226. That we realize the intensity of that love that God has for each

  227. and every. One of us.

  228. We're his child and that love is so.

  229. Incredibly intense and immense. It's hard to even fathom.

  230. So when you look at yourself in the mirror, brushing your hair

  231. in the morning, putting on your makeup, you know whatever it is

  232. that you're doing, you're looking at someone.

  233. That God loves. So incredibly.

  234. That he gave his life for you. You're.

  235. Loved. It's good news, isn't it?

  236. In Ephesians chapter 2 and verse 5.

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  237. The second thing I want to talk about is God made you alive with

  238. Christ. Ephesians chapter 2 and verse 5

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  239. it says even though you were. Dead.

  240. Because of your sins. He gave his life when he raised.

  241. Christ from the dead, it is only by God's grace that you have

  242. been saved. So Paul says something here, He

  243. says. That you were dead.

  244. Well, it's a nice thought. You were dead.

  245. Dead. Does not mean.

  246. Weak. All right.

  247. Dead. Does not mean struggling dead

  248. means incapable of. Self rescue, right?

  249. You were dead. You were lifeless.

  250. You were unable. To save yourself, you needed a

  251. savior. You.

  252. Needed someone to. Pull you out.

  253. From that death, from that. Enslavement to sin.

  254. You needed Christ. Spiritual death is separation

  255. from the life of God. No human effort can.

  256. Possibly bridge that gap. No religion can bridge.

  257. That gap. No amount of works.

  258. Or anything that we. Do on our part.

  259. Right, because we're dead. You ever seen a dead person

  260. resurrect themselves, right? No like we have.

  261. We have maybe some physicians who may resuscitate someone, but

  262. that person didn't raise themself right.

  263. It was a medical team that raised them, that resuscitated,

  264. that brought them to life. We're not.

  265. Able to do that? So the apostle Paul is saying

  266. that he made us alive. God made us alive with Christ,

  267. when Christ. Was raised.

  268. God raised us as well. Salvation isn't just about

  269. forgiveness, all right? That is a wonderful, wonderful

  270. part of salvation. Isn't the forgiveness of our

  271. sins Like if that's all it? Was that would be amazing,

  272. wouldn't it? And we would be.

  273. Eternally thankful for that forgiveness, but it's more than

  274. that. It's position we've been

  275. positioned. With Christ we've been made

  276. alive with. Christ, haven't we?

  277. In Two Corinthians chapter 5 and verse 17?

  278. We know this scripture at well as well.

  279. It says therefore if anyone is in Christ.

  280. He is a new creation. Old things have passed.

  281. Away and behold. All things.

  282. Have become new. All things have become new.

  283. Everything in your life has become new.

  284. Because you were dead. Weren't you?

  285. That person is dead. That person is buried.

  286. And you've been made alive with Christ.

  287. Now a new creation. You're not a repaired Sinner,

  288. all right. You're a new.

  289. Creation the same. Power that raised Christ.

  290. From the dead now. Operates in you.

  291. You have. Been positioned in Christ and in

  292. that place everything that you are now, everything that you

  293. have and. Everything that you live.

  294. By is now. Through Christ.

  295. So stop. Speaking about yourself as.

  296. Though you're still spiritually dead, that.

  297. Person doesn't exist anymore. Stop.

  298. Beating yourself up for the past things that you have done, the

  299. past sins that you have done, those things have been washed.

  300. Away by the. Blood of the lamb.

  301. Jesus paid the price. For those, there's no sin,

  302. there's no action, there's no words, there's nothing that you

  303. can. Do that Christ was.

  304. Not. Able to deal with.

  305. Upon the cross, you're not that. Big the.

  306. Things that you have done are not.

  307. That big Jesus paid for those. On the cross, the same power.

  308. That raised Christ. From the dead.

  309. Dealt with those issues. That's good news, isn't it?

  310. You are alive with. Christ and the Life.

  311. Of God is in you. You need to begin to think

  312. about. Who you are?

  313. Now you need to. Speak who you are now.

  314. You need to live. According to.

  315. Who you are? Now not.

  316. Who you used to be? No one wants to walk around like

  317. a zombie. Right.

  318. We're alive with Christ. Leave that dead.

  319. Person where they are in the grave.

  320. Amen. In Roman in Romans chapter 8 and

    Romans 8 chapter mention

  321. verse 11. Says but if the.

  322. If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in

  323. you. He who raised Christ.

  324. From the dead. Will also give life.

  325. To your mortal. Bodies through his Spirit who

  326. dwells. In you are.

  327. You starting to see a theme here.

  328. In Scripture, the spirit of Him who?

  329. Raised Jesus. From the dead dwells.

  330. In you you. Are now meant to.

  331. Live your life through Christ. In Christ.

  332. By Christ, that old. Person that.

  333. You used to be. You're not supposed to live

  334. according to that anymore. You're supposed.

  335. To live as an. Adopted child of God, you're in

  336. his family now. You no.

  337. Longer belong to the devil's family.

  338. You're not part of that family. You don't need.

  339. You know there's no joint. Custody.

  340. Right. There's no visitations or

  341. anything, right? You're.

  342. Totally and completely in God's family now.

  343. Live like it, act like it, think like it, like your life.

  344. Should be changing and alter. We're a new creation.

  345. Amen. But Paul doesn't stop.

  346. There he goes, even. Higher like this just keeps

  347. getting better and better, right?

  348. He says that you've been seated with Christ.

  349. Let's look at that. In Ephesians chapter 2 and verse

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  350. six and seven. And the last point that I want

  351. to make here is, is really one of the, I think one of the most.

  352. Outrageous realities. In the entire Bible, because

  353. this is something that is for our mind, something that's.

  354. Difficult to to wrestle with here, Ephesians.

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  355. Chapter 2 and verse six and seven it says for he raised us

  356. from the dead along with Christ and seated.

  357. Us with him? With who?

  358. With Christ. We've been raised together.

  359. With Christ, and he seated us with him.

  360. What does that mean? Right, Like sometimes it's just

  361. nice to slow things down a little bit and try to get

  362. understanding of. What it is that we're actually

  363. reading? Because we can just skip by

  364. things and be like, oh, that's nice.

  365. You know, we're seated with Christ in in heavenly places.

  366. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And move on to the next verse.

  367. But what does that mean? Like what this means?

  368. Is is absolutely amazing. For he has.

  369. Raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with

  370. him in the heavenly realms because we are united with

  371. Christ Jesus. So God can point to us in all

  372. future ages as examples. Of the incredible wealth of His

  373. grace. Which is his undeserving favor

  374. and his kindness. Towards us as.

  375. Shown in all that he has done for us who are united with.

  376. Christ. Now notice that progression.

  377. There He made us alive. He raised us up.

  378. And then? Seated us.

  379. With Christ. Paul reiterates this point in

  380. Colossians chapter 3 and in verse 1 he says if then.

    Colossians 3 chapter mention

  381. You were raised with Christ. Seek those things which are

  382. above. Where Christ is sitting at the

  383. right hand. Of God.

  384. So we're seated with Christ at the right hand of God.

  385. Scripture is saying right well in the ancient.

  386. World to be seated. At the right hand of a king had

  387. tremendous meaning. It meant honor.

  388. It meant privilege. It also indicated participation

  389. in authority like this is something really big that the.

  390. Apostle Paul is stating. Here and we can just skate on

  391. past this that we've been. Seated with Christ, but.

  392. What does this mean to our lives right now?

  393. Where we are, Paul also states. This in Romans chapter 8 and

    Romans 8 chapter mention

  394. verse 17, another outrageous reality in Scripture.

  395. He says if and if children right, we've been adopted into

  396. God's family. We're children of of God, right?

  397. Is there anyone else here who's a who's a child of God?

  398. Few of us couple hands. All right, don't be shy.

  399. Hello, this isn't a test. I'm going to give a a call at

  400. the end and I'm going to pray for some of you.

  401. You need to come into the family all right, Romans chapter 8

    Romans 8:17

  402. verse 17 and if children then. Heirs.

  403. Heirs of God. And joint.

  404. Heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer.

  405. With him that we may also. Be glorified together.

  406. These are some incredible statements.

  407. That the apostle Paul. Is making isn't it but when you

  408. understand that we've been adopted into into God's family

  409. and you and you understand what that adoption means and we you

  410. know and we had a Sunday where we talked about that what it.

  411. Means to be adopted. Into God's family, there's

  412. rights. There's there's.

  413. Privileges that are. Given to an adopted child in

  414. God's family, and this was written in the time of the of

  415. the Roman. Period there.

  416. And in the Roman Empire, when you were adopted, often times an

  417. an adopted child had more rights and privileges than the

  418. biological children. So when?

  419. The Apostle Paul. Is saying that we've been

  420. adopted in into God's family when he's saying things like if

  421. we're children, then we're. Errors we're errors of.

  422. God and joint errors with Christ, and if indeed we suffer

  423. with him, that we may also be glorified with Him.

  424. These are. Absolutely.

  425. Like world should be world. Shaking statements that are

  426. being made to us. You should be having fireworks.

  427. Go. Off on the inside if you

  428. understand what this actually means.

  429. For your life. Right now.

  430. You're a child of God, This. Incredible greatness, this

  431. intense love. What did God do with that?

  432. His mercy, His grace, His. Unmerited.

  433. Favor, all of that was purposed. Everything that he did was to

  434. adopt. You into his family.

  435. And make you an. Heir.

  436. Of God in joint heirs, with Christ seated.

  437. At the right hand of God in heavenly places.

  438. That's where God sees you. A position of favor.

  439. A position of love. A position of a of authority.

  440. Over your life, over the devil in your life, greater is he who

  441. is in you than he who is in the world.

  442. Why is that? Just because you say?

  443. Some different things. Oh yeah, my words have great

  444. power. It's because of who backs up

  445. those words, because you're a child of God.

  446. Because you've been adopted into his family.

  447. It's not just Bradley saying saying something to the wind.

  448. To say, To say. Something, that's who.

  449. Backs up those. Words when I'm speaking

  450. scripture over my. Life, it's as if.

  451. I'm a joint heir, right? I'm seated at the right hand of

  452. God in heavenly places when I'm speaking.

  453. Those words, who's speaking? Those words, is it me or am I

  454. just echoing? Words that have authority.

  455. I'm echoing those words, aren't I?

  456. It's not that my. Words have power, all right?

  457. It's. That I'm speaking the.

  458. Words that have power because they're God's words.

  459. So when I say something, when I'm praying, when I have a need

  460. in my life and I say something like Philippians 419 and my.

  461. God shall supply. All my need according to.

  462. His riches and glory. All of heaven stands to

  463. attention. Why?

  464. It's not because Bradley said something.

  465. It's because I spoke God. 'S words and.

  466. God's words have power. The scripture doesn't say that

  467. that when I speak. All right.

  468. Those words will not return null and void.

  469. But they will accomplish. What it is sent out to do?

  470. No, it says that when God's Word is spoken, when His word is

  471. spoken, it will accomplish what it is sent.

  472. Out to do well who's? Sending it out.

  473. I am all right. I'm sending it out and I'm

  474. believing and I'm trusting and I'm having.

  475. Faith that when I speak God's word, it has power.

  476. Look at yourself differently. Expect God to do in your life.

  477. Expect because you're a child of God.

  478. In Two Corinthians chapter 2 and verse 14, everything the apostle

  479. Paul is talking about here is positional.

  480. Truth. It's who we are in Christ, where

  481. we've. Been positioned where God.

  482. Sees us right where the devil sees us.

  483. Where all the Kingdom of darkness, the demons where?

  484. They see us. Like don't step down from that

  485. throne. Don't step down from that seat.

  486. That is where God expects you. That is where Christ expects you

  487. to live your life. From.

  488. He paid a very steep price so that you can be positioned.

  489. There honor him honor. His sacrifice, with your words,

  490. with your life. With your actions in Two

  491. Corinthians chapter 2 and verse 14 it says now thanks.

  492. Be to God, who always. Leads us in triumph in Christ.

  493. That is a great scripture, isn't it?

  494. It's where we got the name for this church, Triumph Church now.

  495. Thanks. Be to God who always leads us.

  496. Is it sometimes, occasionally, every once in a while, right?

  497. If you're. Really nice to God.

  498. If you have a. Really long prayer time.

  499. If you spend 7 days in a row reading some scripture, then.

  500. God will lead. You in triumph.

  501. What does it say? Now, thanks be to God.

  502. Who always leads us? In triumph in.

  503. Christ, where are you abiding? Where are you?

  504. Spending your time. Are you spending your time in

  505. that? Position seated with Christ.

  506. In him. Living your life.

  507. In him your words, in him your actions, in him when you.

  508. Are what's going to be. The result?

  509. Triumph. God will always lead you in

  510. triumph. Always lead you.

  511. In triumph, in Christ, Amen, we don't fight.

  512. For victory, all right. Sometimes it's just a little

  513. change in perspective. We fight.

  514. From victory Christ has. Already won the battle?

  515. You. Don't have to win the battle.

  516. The only thing you have. To do is enforce.

  517. What Christ did in your life? Don't allow the enemy to come

  518. and. Bully you, right?

  519. Give it back to him and how are? You going to get it?

  520. Give it. Back to him.

  521. You're going to give it back to him.

  522. Like Jesus did? Well, the word says.

  523. When the devil came to Jesus in in the wilderness.

  524. What did? How did Jesus?

  525. Respond to the devil. Did he get angry?

  526. Did he throw rocks? Did he kick up dirt?

  527. Like what did he? Do no.

  528. He used God's word. The word says right?

  529. That's how. You're going to enforce.

  530. Victory that Christ already. Won on the cross.

  531. For you, you're speaking what he's already like.

  532. This is all about what? He's won for us, right?

  533. This. Is why it's important that we

  534. find out and read scripture. Come to church be.

  535. Faithful to hear His word like whatever we can to hear what

  536. God's will is for our lives because.

  537. Once we know. Then we can begin.

  538. To walk in that. But if we don't?

  539. Know then the devil's able to kind of move and maneuver and

  540. and twist us and do whatever he wants because we don't know any

  541. different, right? It's important that we know what

  542. Christ has done. For us.

  543. So let's close with this. We read in Ephesians chapter 2

    Ephesians 2 chapter mention

  544. and verses one and three last week where all of our stories

  545. have begun and that was in a position of failure with

  546. darkness and we had all lived in prisoned by sin and that's

  547. where. All of us were stuck right?

  548. We couldn't help ourselves. We were completely helpless.

  549. But God. Thank God for what?

  550. He did. Thank God that he didn't.

  551. Abandoned us thank. God that he didn't just destroy.

  552. Us and and just let us live. Our live our lives as fools, but

  553. he sent Christ to die for us, made us alive with Christ,

  554. seated us with Christ in heavenly.

  555. Places like you're reading the same scriptures that I'm

  556. reading, right? This isn't something that I'm

  557. making up listen either. Either this is true or it.

  558. Isn't and what's? Cool is.

  559. Like I, I gave. You that.

  560. Prophecy in Jeremiah chapter 49. It's so.

    Jeremiah 49 chapter mention

  561. Amazing Scripture is absolutely amazing.

  562. It's life when we apply that to our lives, our lives.

  563. Will never ever be the same. But it's up to us.

  564. God is so. Rich in his mercy.

  565. Because. Of and in order to satisfy the

  566. great and wonderful and intense. Love with which he loved us

  567. because of that. He intervened.

  568. He made us. Alive with Christ, He raised us.

  569. He seated us and positioned each of us for a purpose.

  570. All of our life has meaning. We all have a.

  571. Purpose in God's Kingdom. That he has for us.

  572. So here's the take away. For you this morning if there's

  573. nothing. Else you take away.

  574. Except for this. This will be good.

  575. Stop living beneath. What Christ purchased to.

  576. Honor. Christ is to live.

  577. For him and to live through him, to honor.

  578. Christ is to see yourself, talk about yourself.

  579. And live in that triumph. Don't let the devil talk you out

  580. of that. You are positioned with Christ,

  581. and that position is so that you can live in victory.

  582. And listen, I I know there's situations in our lives.

  583. Jesus said this gave us this promise.

  584. All the other. Promises in the Bible are are

  585. great and make us really happy and want us to dance, make us

  586. want to dance and make us want to run and put a big smile on

  587. our face. But the the one that isn't quite

  588. so nice is when Jesus said that in this.

  589. Life we will. Have trials.

  590. And we will have tribulations. Why is that?

  591. It's because we live. In a sinful fallen world, right?

  592. But then he has scriptures like that that we read where we can.

  593. Triumph in Christ. Like there may be things that

  594. we're dealing with. In our lives.

  595. There's things that we're we've dealt.

  596. With in our past, there's things that we're dealing with, now

  597. there's things that we're going to.

  598. Deal with in the. Future.

  599. Right. But those things are not

  600. greater. Than Christ, we can live in

  601. victory if we'll abide. In him.

  602. If we'll speak his word over our lives.

  603. And sometimes it's. Easy to speak fear.

  604. Sometimes. It's easy to speak.

  605. Doubt instead. Of God's Word.

  606. Because when we're speaking against the natural.

  607. Things that we see, things that we feel.

  608. Things that we're experiencing and.

  609. Where it starts? Speaking things like by.

  610. Christ's stripes, I'm healed. Even though I don't.

  611. Feel like it? Right.

  612. God's Word is truth. It will.

  613. Accomplish what it's set forth to do.

  614. We just. Have to send it.

  615. Out and have belief in it and have faith in it and the

  616. miraculous will. Happen in our lives may not

  617. happen like. That, but it'll happen.

  618. I've seen it in my own life. Many of you have seen things

  619. happen in your own lives. I could have.

  620. I just had some testimonies about miracles happen in

  621. people's lives that I heard this past week.

  622. It's amazing. God is moving in our lives.

  623. And a lot. Of people in this church.

  624. It's absolutely amazing. We need to have another

  625. testimony service soon and we can share some of those things.

  626. God is so good, isn't he? Well, let's pray.

  627. Heavenly Father, Lord, I'm so thankful for what you've done

  628. for us. That wonderful and intense love.

  629. With which you loved us. And.

  630. Because of that love, Lord, it propelled you.

  631. It demanded of you. That you rescue us.

  632. From everything that was our own fault, that sin, that darkness,

  633. that. We allowed those.

  634. Decisions that we've made, Lord, but those things aren't big

  635. enough to overcome what Christ has done.

  636. Lord, I thank you that your mercy and goodness.

  637. Follow us all. The days.

  638. Of our life, Lord. Your word says that your favor

  639. surrounds us like a shield. Your word says that by Christ's

  640. stripes that we're healed. Your word says that no deadly

  641. thing shall harm us. Thank you, Lord, for your word.

  642. Lord, I thank you that each and every one of us here.

  643. Today that we would just begin to see that we would.

  644. Begin to have a revelation that the eyes of our understanding

  645. would be. Open that we would know what is

  646. the hope. Of your calling that that

  647. position that. Place that you've seated.

  648. Us in Christ, Lord, you've forgiven us of our sins.

  649. You've raised us from the dead, the helplessness that we were

  650. in. Lord, and you've seated us with.

  651. Christ in heavenly places that position that you want us to

  652. live. That you.

  653. Desire for us to. Live as your.

  654. Children as your ambassadors. For Christ, Lord, help us, Lord

  655. to. Walk in those things.

  656. Lord, don't let us be. Talked into or talked?

  657. Out of what it is that? You've promised us, Lord, but we

  658. would find in your word. We would.

  659. Dig into your word and find those truths and find those

  660. promises of. Who?

  661. We are in Christ so that we can honor.

  662. You with our lives. In Jesus name, Amen.

  663. Amen. Hallelujah.
