-
Come on, I want you to think about your story.
-
Think about your testimony.
-
Think about the miracles.
-
Think about the transformation.
-
I was thinking about that for myself this morning.
-
The darkest pit and how I've tasted the goodness of Jesus.
-
Anybody taste the goodness of Jesus?
-
Tell you what, what he's done for you in the past, he can do it again and again and again.
-
He's had faith.
-
Walking around these forms.
-
I found my life faithful.
-
What you have never failed in waiting for change to come, knowing the battles once.
-
For you have never failed.
-
Oh your promise still stands.
-
Great is your faithfulness, your faithful dance.
-
I'm still in your hand.
-
This is my confidence.
-
You never failed me.
-
Yes.
-
I love this lyric right here.
-
Come on.
-
I know the night won't last.
-
Your word will come to pass.
-
My heart will sing your praise again.
-
Everybody say the name right here.
-
Come on, SCC, sing it out.
-
Say, Jesus, you're still in now.
-
So keep me within your name.
-
My heart will sing your praise again.
-
Your promise sense great is your faithfulness.
-
Your faithfulness.
-
You never failed me.
-
Come on, do I have any witnesses here this morning?
-
You can say, God has never failed me, and He never will.
-
Come on, if you can see that for yourself.
-
See it, I'll say, I see you move.
-
You move the mountain.
-
I believe, I see you do it again.
-
You made away where there was nowhere.
-
I believe, I believe, I believe, I see you do it again.
-
I still move every mountain.
-
You move the mountain, every star.
-
I believe every insecurity.
-
I see you do every fish.
-
I believe I see you do it again.
-
I see do it again.
-
Oh God, I see you do it again.
-
Do it again again.
-
I see you do it again.
-
Do it again again.
-
Promise still stands.
-
Great is your faithfulness.
-
Your faithfulness.
-
I'm still in your hands.
-
This is my confidence.
-
You never failed me.
-
I know a name that can silence for in waves.
-
I know a name that can empty out of grave.
-
I know a name.
-
It's the only name that saves me, and it's worthy of all praise.
-
I call you Jesus.
-
I call you, I call you healer, risen and raining in power.
-
Something comes out of the grave.
-
Every time I call you Jesus, I call you, I call you Savior, worthy of glory forever.
-
Something comes out of the grave.
-
Every time I call your name.
-
Here we go.
-
I have a key.
-
I with a million of her death.
-
He holds a key.
-
That is Christmas serpent.
-
I resurrected free.
-
I call you Jesus.
-
I call you, I call you K.
-
Risen and raising and power.
-
Something comes out of the grave.
-
Every time I call you Jesus, I call you, I call you saving God.
-
Worthing your glory for death.
-
Something comes out of the grave.
-
Every time I call your name.
-
Anybody believe in the power of the name of Jesus?
-
At the mention of the name of Jesus, you shall be free, you shall be healed.
-
Come on if you believe in you, say every time I call your name, change, break, dry, both, break.
-
Every time I call your name, the gate of hell, shake.
-
Every time I call your name, drive on break, yeah, try and walk the name of Greek.
-
Every time I call your name, the gate the gate of hell.
-
Every time I call your name.
-
Something comes out of the rain.
-
Every time I call out of Jesus, I call you, I call you saved.
-
Something comes out of the grave.
-
Every time I call your day.
-
In the name of Jesus.
-
How many know that that's all we need?
-
Can you say I need Jesus?
-
I need Jesus.
-
All of this noise of fears surrounding me.
-
Oh it's screaming deception in my head.
-
Oh, lining by the lines that lead to vanity.
-
It's insanity.
-
Oh, I feel like I'm barely breathing.
-
I'm walking around, but I'm dead.
-
Oh, I need Jesus.
-
You can bring it back to the time.
-
Oh, it is my time.
-
Oh, I need Jesus.
-
Peace be still, that's what you say.
-
I can't whisper in my head.
-
Come on, brother.
-
Don't underwise this.
-
But it's you're now alive and I'm breathing.
-
You are the one that you Jesus.
-
Shut it down the water.
-
You want Jesus?
-
You can bring back to that.
-
Jesus Savior always wants that.
-
Sometimes about too small.
-
All I know is the body Jesus is my two.
-
Every hour.
-
Oh bless me now.
-
I come to the come on family.
-
Jesus, I can't make it another day.
-
I come to the Thank you, Jesus.
-
Woo, please be seated.
-
Wow.
-
So good to be with people who know they need Jesus.
-
Man, I remember when we first came here 36 years ago.
-
We came with a dollar and a dream.
-
Barely a dollar.
-
But God knows how to connect people at the right time.
-
And the Durons.
-
I'm not sure we'd be here if we didn't know you, Pastor.
-
Deonza, Pastor Denny Rodney, Pastor Sarah.
-
I don't know.
-
God's mercy is amazing, but your family has helped our family.
-
You know, our vision, the Katina Ministries, is to see families all over the world healing and united in love.
-
God gave us that vision, not because we've cornered the market on healing, but because we're a broken family in need of a savior.
-
And we see the savior in people like you.
-
So thank you for your love.
-
Thank you for your grace.
-
Thank you for your leadership.
-
I think uh Pastor Dav was like four, three or four running around when we first came.
-
Now you're running the show, brother.
-
Look at you.
-
So proud of you.
-
Shreveport uh it it has uh there are markers because we've been coming for 36 years.
-
I always remember different times.
-
Oh, I remember this time we went, this was going on, and uh four years ago we came for Pastor's birthday.
-
I think it was your 30th birthday, Pastor, four years ago.
-
And what I remember, it was a beautiful occasion, but what people didn't know is that I was having like high anxiety, like panic attacks.
-
I remember specifically getting on the plane to come here.
-
My wife came because of my anxiety, and I didn't know if I could make the plane ride.
-
I was claustrophobic, I was scared of the dark, and I remember quoting the scripture that I heard all my life that became real to me.
-
Philippians 4, 6 and 7.
-
Do not be anxious.
-
But in everything, in every situation, with prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.
-
I'll be honest with you, you know, for a long time when I would feel anxious or feel afraid, I almost felt guilty.
-
I almost felt like, dude, get some more faith.
-
Read more, fast more, pray more.
-
I felt ashamed to come to God because I was feeling anxious.
-
But over the last four years, here's what I know Philippians 4 is not throwing shade to people of anxiety, it's God inviting you close.
-
Come.
-
Come.
-
Because God knows the world we live in.
-
It's a dark world, it's an uncertain world.
-
The only thing certain is uncertainty.
-
I watched, I saw a bumper sticker the other day.
-
It said, No bad days.
-
I said, Where the heck do you live?
-
Paul does not say pretend everything is alright.
-
Paul does not say get your stuff together.
-
He doesn't say hide what you're feeling.
-
No, Paul says, Hey, you don't have to be anxious.
-
And so at the beginning of my anxiety, what I realized is I was trying to manage my anxiety.
-
I started box breathing.
-
I go for runs.
-
Started doing cold plunges.
-
Y'all do cold plunges here in Louisiana?
-
Not recommended.
-
I was doing these things and no disrespect to any of those things.
-
Those are all the great, but here's what I know in God.
-
The life that He wants for us is more than just managing anxiety.
-
He wants us to practice peace.
-
So, how do we practice it?
-
Three things, Paul tells us.
-
First of all, be honest.
-
Be honest.
-
So often we feel like we have to come to church all buttoned up and put together.
-
You look as beautiful as ever.
-
So good to see you.
-
Oh be honest.
-
Sometimes the best prayer is not the long religious dialogue.
-
God's not asking you to bring your polished version, He's asking you to bring your truthful version.
-
Who are you?
-
Where are you at?
-
What is going on?
-
Sometimes all you have to say is, God, I feel alone.
-
God, I'm afraid.
-
God, I'm ashamed.
-
God, I'm desperate.
-
God, I can't breathe.
-
God, what do I do about my kids?
-
I don't know.
-
God, my marriage isn't gonna.
-
God, I need you.
-
Jesus.
-
Be honest with where you're at.
-
I remember when our mother died, people meet well-meaning people would say, Hey, it's okay.
-
Don't cry.
-
Trust God, she's in a better place.
-
And I know that's true.
-
But don't cry.
-
Are you kidding me?
-
Even Jesus wept.
-
Be honest.
-
By prayer and petition.
-
Ask for help.
-
Ask for help.
-
You were never created to carry the burdens you're carrying on your own by yourself.
-
Present your request to God, and you know how God works.
-
He works through people.
-
He works through your pastor.
-
He works through your wife, your husband.
-
You see, anxiety exponentially grows in isolation.
-
Peace grows in connection and community.
-
For those of you who understand recovery, there's a saying in recovery.
-
It says sobriety is not the opposite of addiction.
-
The opposite of addiction is connection.
-
Jesus is inviting you to be honest.
-
Ask for help.
-
And lastly, choose gratitude.
-
Choose gratitude.
-
For most of us that live in America, we don't have to think hard about what to be thankful for.
-
William Arthur Ward, he said this.
-
He said, having gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a gift and not giving it.
-
Many of us live in homes full of rap gifts that need to be given away, Rusty.
-
Thank you.
-
God, out of this place.
-
And thank you that I'm not alone.
-
God, I lost a loved one.
-
Well, I didn't lose them.
-
I know where they're at.
-
They're with you.
-
But thank you.
-
That though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.
-
For you are with me.
-
Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
-
If you're here today, bow bowed and all eyes closed.
-
And you you have been carrying situations, trying to work them out, trying to trying to fix things on your own.
-
It doesn't work.
-
You don't have to.
-
That's why God says, hey, you don't have to be anxious.
-
But in every situation, in that financial situation, in that health situation, in that family situation, every situation.
-
Ask me.
-
Be honest.
-
And choose gratitude.
-
If you're here today and you say, Man, I need a I need I need God.
-
I need Jesus.
-
Just raise your hand wherever you are.
-
You say, That's me.
-
That's me.
-
That's me.
-
Yes, God bless you.
-
God bless you.
-
Just stand as you're raising your hand.
-
Just stand.
-
Lord, I thank you.
-
God, I thank you.
-
Thank you that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me.
-
We'll talk about more about it tonight at North Point.
-
We're gonna have a full concert.
-
I hope you come.
-
But I was introduced to this uh piece of jewelry uh about two months ago.
-
You can see you look up here, you can't see it, but what it is is it's an empty tomb.
-
We have it back at the table, and I don't usually wear jewelry because I lose everything.
-
I used to have a gold diamond ring 33 years ago when I got married, and I'll thank God for Amazon Prime, one dollar ring right here.
-
But somebody introduced this to me, and they said, Hey, you you need one of these.
-
And I said, What is it?
-
I don't wear jewelry.
-
He said, This is an empty tomb, and here's what it is it's I feel it against my chest.
-
And when anxiety comes, when situations come, here's what I'm reminded.
-
The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power that lives in me.
-
So, God, I pray, Lord, for every brother, every sister, God, we come to you.
-
We're honest with our situation, we need your help, and God, we're grateful.
-
We're grateful that we're not alone.
-
We have our families, we have our church community, we have our pastors, God, we have help, we have connection, and most of all, Jesus, we have you.
-
And for this, we are grateful, God, we don't have to manage anxiety.
-
Today, we're gonna start practicing peace.
-
Thank you, Jesus.
-
Come on, would you stand to your feet all over this place?
-
Hallelujah.
-
Anybody grateful this morning?
-
There was no way until you made one Grace upon grace, hallelujah.
-
Even though I don't deserve it, you did it And even though I could learn it, you give it Whoever That you give me all your life I'm just graceful for you I'm just graceful for you Oh you be right in graceful for you I'm just graceful for you Holy holy There's only one I give you glory, I give you glory for all that you done Even though I don't disturb it You did it Even though I could earn it You did for grateful you stay who keep me on your back I'm just grateful for you I'm just grateful for you all by Just grateful for you for you for you for you for you If you're grateful somebody can push out a pleasure Hallelujah Now would you lift your hands all over this building?
-
Think about this goodness you say God I'm just grateful for you God's grateful for you I'm grateful.
-
Just cry.
-
Thank you.
-
Say this with me.
-
Say, Father, thank you for the truth I've heard that has transformed me today.
-
Thank you that you've been faithful to speak right to me.
-
I want you just to stand there for a minute, let God deal with you.
-
Say, what do you mean?
-
I want you to let God assure you that this today was for you.
-
There are dozens of you that could relate to everything that was said.
-
I tell you, Joe gave a powerful message today.
-
Hallelujah, Father.
-
We thank you.
-
We thank you, we thank you, we thank you, we love you.
-
Bless the name of the Lord.
-
Thank the Lord.
-
You know, all over this place people need healing.
-
How many of you need physical healing today?
-
Raise your hand.
-
If you need physical, come on, everybody, raise your hand that you know you need physical healing.
-
Raise your hand.
-
Praise God.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Here's what I'm gonna ask.
-
I want you to look around.
-
Those of you who believe God heals, and I want you to, if the person's standing by you, then you just reach over and put your hand on their shoulder.
-
But I want you to move towards somebody.
-
I'm gonna ask the elders of the church that are here, uh pastors, uh, you pastors, come on, Pastor Rhonda, Pastor Josh, Pastor Lisa.
-
Yes, Pastor Bruce, would you please come?
-
Please come bring your oil here, please.
-
I need healing today.
-
I'm going tomorrow to Dallas to a specialist for a complete checkup of my throat.
-
I've lost, almost lost my voice over the last two years, and I can't get it back.
-
And so I'm going to have extensive work done tomorrow morning.
-
Here's what I'm gonna pray is that by the time, come on up, please, I'm gonna bring your oil and come on up.
-
Praise God.
-
Lacey's just going, Pastor Dane's bossing me around all day.
-
I don't know what the deal is.
-
Come on.
-
She loves me, though.
-
It's okay.
-
Here's what I'm gonna do.
-
I'm gonna, I need prayer, and so many of these people leave.
-
Here's what we're gonna believe for healing.
-
Amen.
-
How many of you want to believe God for healing with me?
-
I was sitting down there and I said, God forbid that I should leave this room with all of these praying people in it and go to a checkup without having them believe God for me.
-
Amen.
-
And so, right now, that's what we're gonna do.
-
I want you to put your hands toward me.
-
I want you to put them toward the people that are there, and we're going to believe God for healing in Jesus' name.
-
Amen.
-
Praise God, praise God.
-
Yes, yes.
-
Praise God in the name of the Lord.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Oh God, thank you, Jesus.
-
Thank you, Father, so Father, we thank you so much for this pastor you've put in our midst.
-
Such a joy for us, and such a marvelous voice that you've given him over the years.
-
We ask that you renew his vocals, oh God, that you will give a complete healing to him from the crown of his head to the sole of his feet.
-
We believe this.
-
God, every good and perfect gift comes from you.
-
And so we ask that you would anoint our pastor with the Holy Spirit of God, with the oil that comes right out of your own altar.
-
Father, we pray that you will continue to touch his hands, his feet, wherever he goes.
-
You'll be able to preach the gospel, oh God, with more power than he's ever been before.
-
And we'll give you the thanks and praises.
-
For these, we have this confidence that whatever we ask you.
-
According to your will, that you hear us.
-
And because you hear us, we know that we have our petitions answered.
-
In the name of Jesus, we can we we receive this.
-
Our pastor receives this.
-
People are holding our hands out in faith that you're healing, that this is happening today, and that you'll never, never, never have to face this again, but that you'll restore it.
-
God, also for the message that you give him in songwriting.
-
Such a great composer, such a man of God.
-
God, so many people have been reached by what you've placed in him in the way of ministry.
-
I pray for Deonta and all the family, oh God, that you will continue this.
-
Thank you for your blessing today.
-
And in the name of Jesus, we declare that it is done.
-
We declare that it is done in Jesus' name.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Praise God.
-
And now I want to pray for you right now.
-
Lift your hands if you need healing.
-
Father, this is a house of healing.
-
The testimony of the Levites, the ministers of this house, was that we came to you because of one miracle.
-
And we believe in your miracles.
-
In the name of Jesus, I rebuke every disease, every malady of the flesh, every injury.
-
I pray that you will heal it in Christ's name.
-
I pray that miracles will break out all over this room in the name of Jesus.
-
I pray that testimonies will pour in all over this room in the name of Jesus.
-
And we give you all the glory.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Amen.
-
Yes, Lord.
-
Praise God.
-
I uh I was speaking at a conference many years ago, probably 30 years ago.
-
And uh when I got through, there was only one person that answered the invitation.
-
Only one.
-
And it was a room of about 800 people.
-
And he walked right down the middle, and he was this really buffed-looking older gentleman.
-
And he put his hand out, came right here and put his hand out.
-
And so I put my hand out, and honestly, folks, I felt like I grabbed a piece of steel.
-
I said, Who are you?
-
He said, My name is Archie Moore.
-
I said, Not Archie Moore, the former heavyweight champion of the world.
-
He said, One and the same.
-
I said, Mr.
-
Moore, why are you here?
-
He said, Well, I've been running from God 70 years, and I think that's probably long enough.
-
He said, Today, today, I've made up my mind.
-
I'm not going another step without him.
-
Now, listen to me.
-
Some of you, you've you've loved the Lord at one time in your life, but you know you're not where you should be.
-
Others of you are just sick and tired of being sick and tired.
-
And today, maybe you would like to come forward here right at the end of this service and say, okay, I'm driving a stake in this date, on this day, that I've stopped running to.
-
And that's why I'm here today.
-
That's why we are here, because God has a plan to touch you in this moment.
-
So, on the count of three, I want you to step out and come and stand right here because this is your new launching pad for your relationship with God.
-
One, two, three.
-
I'm gonna ask you to step out right now.
-
If I'm talking to you, come on down.
-
Come on, give these people a hand right now that are coming.
-
Hallelujah.
-
So glad you're here.
-
So glad you're here.
-
Anyone else?
-
Anyone else?
-
Praise the Lord.
-
Here are others.
-
Come on.
-
This is your chance.
-
You don't want to pass up your chance, your opportunity to start all over.
-
Thank the Lord.
-
What a great, great day this is.
-
Praise the Lord.
-
You're so loved.
-
You have no idea how loved you are by the Lord.
-
And no matter what's going on in your life or what has happened, let me tell you, you can't fail enough times for him not to love you.
-
It's the truth.
-
Praise the Lord.
-
Put your hands out toward all of these wonderful people.
-
And I'm going to ask you that are standing here to pray this prayer with me.
-
Everybody, you ready?
-
Lord Jesus, I give you my life.
-
Fresh and new, my new beginning.
-
Thank you for forgiving me and for cleansing me from everything I'm ashamed of.
-
Thank you that today is my day.
-
Hallelujah.
-
Thank the Lord.
-
Today is our day.
-
Praise the Lord.
-
Well, we got people here that are going to pray with you and talk to you.
-
Thank you, Jesus.
-
And let me just say this to you.
-
If you don't have to lose your future and your inheritance and the blessings of that book that are for you, all you have to do is to reach out.
-
Just reach out.
-
A young man took his life that I was absolutely in relationship with for 40 years, 35 years.
-
Who cares?
-
But it's 35.
-
And when he took his life, I just grieved and grieved and grieved.
-
And I said to Deonza, I said he was one phone call away from being alive today.
-
Because he called me every time he was in a gym.
-
He had a mental condition, flipped him out, bad medication, misprescribed, and he killed himself.
-
And I said, if only he had picked up the phone and said, Hey, Denny, I'm struggling.
-
I said, He'd still be alive.
-
Let me tell you something.
-
Don't you ever, ever, and I'm talking about even if you are having a trial that's just flipping you out, causing you to lose your faith, don't you ever, ever, ever fail to reach out to people in this room because that's what we're here for.
-
Say this with me.
-
We are the body of Christ.
-
I want to bless you right now, and as you leave this place, you're going to leave with so much confidence.
-
Come on, put that up there, and let's let's receive this from the Lord.
-
Amen.
-
May the God of Jacob protect you from all harm.
-
May the Lord answer you when you're in distress.
-
May He send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion.
-
May remember all your best sacrifices, except all your best offerings.
-
May He give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed.
-
And yes, we will shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God.
-
You ready?
-
May the Lord shout it.
-
May the Lord answer all your prayers.
-
God bless you.
-
Have the best week ever.
-
Thank you for connecting with us today.
-
The first step to a new life in Christ is receiving the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.
-
If you have never received Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, repeat this prayer after me.
-
Jesus, I believe you died on a cross and rose again for me.
-
I ask that you come into my heart and be the Lord of my life.
-
In Jesus' name I pray.
-
Amen.
-
Whether you committed your life to Jesus for the first time today or are already on your journey of faith, we would love to stay connected with you.
