  1. Hey, welcome to the City Point Church podcast.

  2. Thanks for joining us. Every day is an opportunity to

  3. take hold of, so we hope this message inspires you and builds

  4. your faith, but it helps you have more of a God perspective

  5. for your day. Enjoy.

  6. And I need to realign myself. This prayer is core and at the

  7. centre of every Jewish belief in the oneness of God.

  8. This prayers pray resided twice a day and is central to the

  9. Jewish monotheistic faith. And so I want us to reboot

  10. ourselves and realign ourselves. In Jeremiah 31 three, the Lord

  11. says of all of us, I have loved you with an everlasting love.

  12. Therefore I have drawn you with my loving kindness.

  13. I brought that Scripture last preach here and it's still for

  14. you today for me today. It's still active today.

  15. So here, O church, put your name in there.

  16. Here, O the Lord God is 1. Here he is.

  17. Here's Chris. And so, but the Lord has drawn

  18. you over a long time. Some of you feel here that

  19. you've been drawn and corded. I can feel it.

  20. I can feel the original pain. I can feel.

  21. And if I can feel it, you know that that's the Lord in me.

  22. Yeah. I can feel the original wounding

  23. and the original pain and then I can feel all the subsequent

  24. secondary injuries and I can even feel the pain of your

  25. hoping and and wanting it to end.

  26. And God is saying to you today, he wants a response because it's

  27. going to end. There's going to a closing of a

  28. chapter, but we need to partner with God.

  29. Amen. That word drawn means and it's a

  30. progression. OK, God's brilliant, only he can

  31. do it. And it's in the word.

  32. Study the word because it's like he will blow you away and your

  33. life will change. You will become this vessel that

  34. is just yeah, anointed. And you're a change agent

  35. everywhere. Drawn means to.

  36. He will continue to develop you. He will continue to make you,

  37. but he will stretch you. So he's like, I love being

  38. developed. Yeah.

  39. Pour in, pour in. Just keep going and walking

  40. because then he's making you. And then you've hit, oh, he's

  41. stretching me. Oh, he's pulling me.

  42. Oh, he's extending me. And now he's deferring me on the

  43. shelf. And now he's delaying me.

  44. And now he's pouring me out of myself so that he can pour in.

  45. He pours us from vessel to vessel.

  46. But I'm letting him. I'm letting him.

  47. I've got a relationship with the Lord.

  48. So at times I'm going. This isn't great.

  49. I'm not really thinking that I can trust you.

  50. This is even hurting. Oh, Rach.

  51. Yeah. God bless you, darling.

  52. And then he sows us, Amen. And then he deploys us.

  53. And then he can wield us in influence, like in war, like

  54. authority can't cheat that process, Amen.

  55. What? Why would we want to?

  56. Yeah. And so let God do that.

  57. You know, when John 418 says we, This is so quoted so often.

  58. But here at our church today, there is No Fear in love,

  59. because perfect love casts out all fear.

  60. Our relationship with our God casts out all fear.

  61. Amen. In Ephesians 6/3/16, God says, I

  62. pray that He will grant you according to the riches of His

  63. glory to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your

  64. inner being that Christ may dwell in your hearts through

  65. faith that being rooted, say it being being you're on journey.

  66. You'll get to a place where it's now really working.

  67. But we always have to keep an eye on it, OK.

  68. And so you, being rooted and grounded and established in his

  69. love, may be able to grasp with all the Saints, how wide, how

  70. long, how high, how deep is the love of Christ, which surpasses

  71. knowledge that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

  72. Isn't that your desire? Amen.

  73. That word grasp. There is also a process.

  74. Isn't God loving? Didn't he say I have loved you

  75. with an everlasting love? He doesn't say right, you're

  76. born again. No, now go and save the nations.

  77. We need to grow and He gives us time, but we need to respond to

  78. every step. Grass means initially to

  79. perceive. I perceive that my God loves me

  80. and that I am His, that my beloved is mine and I am His.

  81. And I receive that. I perceive it.

  82. I receive it and now lay hold of it, and now I seize it.

  83. Because you're becoming powerful and an influencer and the

  84. devil's like, the devil's like, I don't like you.

  85. And so you might be getting pushed back.

  86. It's OK. You are rooted and grounded and

  87. established and you will not be shaken.

  88. Amen. You know how high and wide and

  89. deep is the love of God? For you the love of God means

  90. protection and safety, provision and and and comfort and

  91. everything that you need so to perceive, receive, lay hold of,

  92. seize and capture by force and possess it, possess it, stand on

  93. it, on the rock in Jesus name. Remember I bought this scripture

  94. Zechariah 912 calling God, calling to us still.

  95. Please return to your stronghold, you prisoner of

  96. hope. This very day I am declaring

  97. that I will restore double to you.

  98. Another version says come back to your place of safety all you

  99. prisoners who still have hope and trust in the Lord.

  100. For I promise this very day that I will repay you 2 blessings for

  101. each of your troubles. This is ABBA Father speaking to

  102. us. ABBA Father, a good father.

  103. Jesus called the Father. Come on, good.

  104. He called him good. When I'm in Israel and I'm

  105. ministering as you just in the communities and everywhere you

  106. go, you little hear, you kid, hear little kids go ABBA, ABBA.

  107. And I go, oh, oh, they're calling their father.

  108. We say, dad, hey, dad. And they ABBA, ABBA.

  109. And it's like, oh, it just does something to you.

  110. Amen. And so this is Paul speaking.

  111. So in one Corinthians 16-8 to 11, Paul is addressing something

  112. that is hindering a person's ministry, but hindering their

  113. life as well. And as Paul speaking and he says

  114. he's he's talking, he's writing a letter and he's saying, I'm

  115. going to come to you and I may spend the winter with you and I

  116. will stay on at Ephesus until Pentecost because I perceive, I

  117. receive and I see a great door of effective ministry and work

  118. has opened to me. But there are many adversaries,

  119. many things that are opposing that, many things that are

  120. trying to stop that. So in that context of there is

  121. just this incredible thing happening now, but particularly

  122. in the future, that there is a threat to it.

  123. There's always a threat to it, but God makes a way, Amen.

  124. Because he is God Almighty, isn't he?

  125. And so in that context, he now addresses something in the

  126. church. It's everywhere in this world.

  127. It's always been here because it's a part of the fall.

  128. But we as the church are the ones, we are the part of the

  129. solution, not a part of the problem.

  130. So he says when Timothy comes, see to it that he has nothing to

  131. fear. Say nothing to fear, nothing to

  132. fear. When Timothy comes to you, see

  133. to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you.

  134. For he is carrying on the work of the ministry of the Lord,

  135. just as I am. Like Paul would come to a church

  136. and they go, the apostle Paul's here and there'd be honour and

  137. respect and and everything. And then when Timothy comes, but

  138. he's just like Paul, they may treat him a different way.

  139. Yeah. And so he goes.

  140. Paul goes on to say no one then should treat Timothy with

  141. contempt. There's the anointing in this

  142. place. Don't worry if it gets really

  143. quiet, we don't need to hype anything up.

  144. We need to let Lord, the Lord, do whatever he wants to.

  145. Lord, come and do whatever you want to.

  146. Amen. Yeah.

  147. We don't like sometimes we don't like the silence.

  148. Sometimes we don't like that the anointing comes and the

  149. anointing is powerful in this place and he, the Holy Spirit

  150. will settle on you because there are peoples who in this church

  151. whose life has been affected by contempt in Jesus name, Amen.

  152. He said no one should treat him with contempt.

  153. Send him away in peace that he may return to me.

  154. So there is a blockage. There may be already a blockage

  155. for Timothy as it's like Timothy's on the bill.

  156. Oh, I might not come to church. Oh, it's just Timothy.

  157. But if Paul was on the bill, everyone's, there's no chairs.

  158. And it's like that's got to stop.

  159. That's got to stop in every sector of life.

  160. Amen. I know you're with me.

  161. Different word, isn't it? The word contempt in that

  162. context means hold on, OK? It means despised, it means

  163. rejected. It means disrespected, deemed as

  164. unworthy and of little value, worthless.

  165. Let's discard that. Let's discard that person.

  166. Let's throw them away. Let's snub them, disapprove of

  167. them, exclude them. Let's disdain them.

  168. And even let's mock them. Let's talk about them.

  169. Let's let's, you know, slander them.

  170. This, this will 'cause something to stop and I will come and give

  171. this word and then go away. OK, well, thank God until she

  172. comes back again. But this, this word needs to be

  173. preached. This word needs to go out.

  174. This is contempt means to withhold from a person or

  175. something beyond just Jew. That's in God's word.

  176. It means to neglect. And in that context, the word

  177. neglect means to make an orphan, to make that person feel like an

  178. orphan. It brings division, it draws, it

  179. destroys unity. It's insulting, humiliating,

  180. it's mean. It's it's to hate without a

  181. cause. Who else was hated without a

  182. cause? Jesus Amen.

  183. The person's experience of being made in contempt is what Paul's

  184. addressing. They become fearful.

  185. Their spirit is broken. Their heart is broken.

  186. Their mind is in torment. They are distressed.

  187. They are isolated, lonely, invisible.

  188. They become independent. They become clingy.

  189. They become people, pleasers. Oh, come on.

  190. They become performers, perfectionists.

  191. They become competitive, comparing.

  192. Do we want this in our family? Do we?

  193. No. We want this in our church, our

  194. workplace. No.

  195. This is a part of the fall. It's got no place here.

  196. Got no place in my heart. I got no right to held anything

  197. or anybody in contempt. All the anointings here, all the

  198. anointings here, it it, it's an accusational spirit that causes

  199. division. It causes that person to be

  200. vulnerable and to be a victim, to loop around in victim.

  201. It becomes they, they live in obsessive they, they develop

  202. approval addiction, affirmation addiction and inclusion

  203. addiction, which is now the world calls FOMO, fear of

  204. missing out. The world knows this and at

  205. times we need to hear this in our world.

  206. There's, we know it in, in the situation of contempt of court,

  207. right? We've, they still use it, but

  208. you can't be in contempt of court.

  209. It refers to the behaviour that disrespects or undermines the

  210. authority and dignity and integrity of a court process.

  211. It can involve disobeying court orders or disrupting court

  212. proceedings or even interfering with the administration of

  213. justice. It is a big deal.

  214. There is contempt of law. And now we're sort of going at a

  215. macro level, coming down to an individual level.

  216. There can be whole communities that all gather together because

  217. misery loves company. Same, same like, attracts like.

  218. And so contempt of law is lawlessness, criminality and

  219. then a seared conscience. Yeah.

  220. So we have, we can. And we see that there is

  221. contempt at work that people just sort of like, treat it as

  222. lightly. I can turn up late.

  223. I can flog all this, all the stationary.

  224. You know, I can leave early, then I can lie about it.

  225. We have contempt for the government.

  226. Yeah. It's we're so fickle.

  227. We, we elect a new, new government.

  228. We're like, and within two weeks, we're like rotten

  229. government. And then we have contempt of

  230. life, we have contempt for our family.

  231. Sometimes we have contempt for others.

  232. And we can even have contempt of God that what he says and what

  233. he asks us to do. We just sort of muck around with

  234. it and it's God's. Don't worry, this will, this

  235. will shift. OK, this won't go down, but we

  236. are going down again into the valley of the shadow of of death

  237. because it will block it will stop an individual, a family.

  238. But the most destructive of all that God is addressing is

  239. contempt of self. We can have that.

  240. I am nothing, I am worthless. And this is a carry on from the

  241. ministry that God has called us to do this weekend.

  242. And so we are saying, Lord, do whatever you want to and it's

  243. causes an orphan spirit and this spirit whispers or shouts you

  244. are not enough. It encourages you to strive and

  245. drives you out into the wilderness to isolate and it

  246. makes you believe that you don't belong.

  247. This is a lie in the name of Jesus and we know it.

  248. This is not your portion. God does not hold you at a

  249. distance in contempt. He draws US, doesn't he?

  250. Do not partner with this lie and this stronghold.

  251. Amen. Whenever God in His Word calls

  252. it a spirit, it affect. It can be a evil spirit that

  253. possesses or oppresses, but it affects our breathing because

  254. the word there is pneuma breath. And when we live in fear and

  255. when we live in pain and when we live lonely and isolated

  256. wandering around in the wilderness, we it affects our

  257. breathing and we're hardly breathing and we're like a

  258. smoking flax. But today the Lord not, maybe

  259. not in a shout out mighty way. Don't underestimate that, let

  260. God be God. I can feel what the Holy Spirit

  261. is doing here today and I just need that.

  262. You won't get a preacher here that will hype anything up.

  263. I'll I'll get out the way. I'll let God do what he wants to

  264. do Amen. Do not partner with this lie.

  265. You are a child of God. You are fully known, fully

  266. loved, and fully accepted. Repeat after me.

  267. I am fully known, loved and accepted.

  268. Amen. In according to your faith.

  269. According to your faith, so be it.

  270. And according to your coming back today and saying God's

  271. dealing with this because it's stopping me and it's causing

  272. problems and God's closing a chapter once and for all today,

  273. the orphan spirit says there are reasons why God doesn't love me

  274. and why he does. He doesn't do that.

  275. He just loves. Amen.

  276. Because he is love. But God loves you for for no

  277. reason at all. Oh, come on.

  278. It's just incredible. The orphan spirit causes you to

  279. feel insecure and rejected. If you have been feeling

  280. unworthy, unloved, overlooked, and in need of constant

  281. validation and affirmation, you are experiencing you are

  282. struggling with an orphan spirit.

  283. The orphan spirit will cause you to strive.

  284. If you have a feeling like you are never good enough.

  285. It will cause you to pursue perfection, people pleasing,

  286. striving, and depending on yourself.

  287. It will cause you to perform posture.

  288. God was bringing that word in that we posture ourselves before

  289. God. There's a posturing all this

  290. that I'm going to unpack very quickly.

  291. Doesn't work. I'm just going to say it.

  292. It doesn't work. Yeah.

  293. And today it's got to be chucked.

  294. It's the one that we hold in contempt.

  295. Chuck it in the bin. Chuck it out outside.

  296. Evicted. Never going to live like this

  297. again. Never going to waste another

  298. day. Not another day with this lie of

  299. the enemy. Amen.

  300. You will. It will cause you to prove to

  301. others that you are worthy. Rather than trusting God's

  302. provision and His protection and His love and grace.

  303. The orphan spirit causes you to operate in fear and anxiety.

  304. It will have you in deep fear of abandonment, dread.

  305. Here it comes, Here it comes, it always does.

  306. In Jesus name I break that off your life.

  307. In Jesus name, I break that off your life.

  308. Let signs and wonders follow the preaching of your word.

  309. In the name of Jesus. We cry ABBA father.

  310. We cry ABBA Father in Jesus name.

  311. Sometimes you have to get the the IT says that that the the

  312. violent. There's a violence in our that

  313. we take it by force. Amen.

  314. We seize it back. We don't go through the process

  315. and we get to a point where we just say it's enough, enough of

  316. this. I cannot live like this.

  317. Life's not a dress rehearsal. This is it.

  318. I am in, I am in my early 60s and I'm proud.

  319. I, I'm proud to be this, this age now because I just think,

  320. Lord, you keep me alive with all my stupid things that I did.

  321. You kept me alive and now I can just spend my life.

  322. I'm never going to retire so I'm going to keep well I go to the

  323. gym now I've got 0 pain in this body, 0 pain zero, 60 whatever

  324. stiffness. OK God, I was like getting out

  325. of bed like this and God said the Holy Spirit move your body

  326. and I and I'm like. And so I'm now at the gym doing

  327. leg presses and shoulder presses and then I just do my own thing

  328. and I've got 0 pain and at times it's like, you know, practical,

  329. emotional and spiritual. Amen.

  330. I've got a motive because I don't want to go over because

  331. Pastor Graham sits there like like this.

  332. Anyway. It will cause you to have deep

  333. abandonment of failure. You'll overwork.

  334. You'll over perform to earn approval.

  335. The orphan spirit will cause you to feel a lack of belonging,

  336. like you could be in a room like this and you just feel like an

  337. orphan, that you can't connect, you can't attach some of it.

  338. It's from your historic family experience and it will have you

  339. struggling, feeling that you can't even connect with God or

  340. people in church or even your own family or community, and a

  341. constant feeling that people don't want you around, even your

  342. loved ones, even in church. There's rubbish.

  343. That's a lie but there are reasons why you are in that and

  344. God knows. Amen.

  345. God's not putting a Band-Aid on this.

  346. He's healing it. He's making it new.

  347. He's setting you free, making you free.

  348. The orphan spirit makes you feel jealous and you compare

  349. comparison. If you are envying others

  350. success and blessing and relationships due to due to a

  351. lack of a sense of lack and poverty that you always get the

  352. dregs. But you know what God's word

  353. says that the last shall be first.

  354. Amen. The last shall be first and some

  355. of you need to prophecy that, but not out of an angst, not out

  356. of heat, not out of brokenness, out of faith and out of

  357. holiness. Posturing and positioning

  358. yourself that the last shall be first.

  359. He he saves the the the best wine to the last in Jesus name.

  360. The orphan spirit prevents you from trusting God's love and it

  361. will have you viewing God as distant, harsh, conditional in

  362. His love rather than a loving ABBA father.

  363. The orphan spirit prevents you from asking God and other people

  364. for help, will drive you out in incredible independence.

  365. I ended up like this and God, just, I, it was survival mode.

  366. I had to look after myself 'cause there was nobody else to

  367. depend on and and God didn't have a hard time.

  368. I had a hard time letting that go because I'd got in touch with

  369. just that. Oh, I can't stand this feeling.

  370. I just it's just the pain is unbelievable and and the panic

  371. like I'm I'll literally die if I don't look after myself and it

  372. will have you manipulate by using your emotions in any

  373. setting and therefore it doesn't work because what you're looking

  374. for love and and inclusion you're driving people away.

  375. You may as well spray yourself with fly spray.

  376. I did for years. It will cause you using anger

  377. and distress and crying to get help instead of just asking for

  378. help, asking for help. You don't have to ask everybody.

  379. Go to a trusted person and just say I need a little bit of

  380. confidential private help. And that person like, you know,

  381. I do that. My doors always open.

  382. But, but if you sort of start to be clingy and, and, and text me

  383. at 2:00 AM, I'm like, I'm your Mama and OK.

  384. And I, I am your Emma, not your Emma, but I will help you.

  385. There are so many that will. If you have rooted in the, if

  386. you are rooted in the fear that you're never good enough,

  387. causing you to believe that there is a need to prove

  388. yourself and yourself worth. You have an orphan spirit.

  389. I'm not saying you're possessed. You just have a, you just have

  390. a, it's always there. It's always there.

  391. It's going today. The orphan spirit causes you to

  392. have a scarcity and poverty mentality.

  393. It will have you believing that there is never enough to go

  394. around, not enough positions in the church.

  395. Not never, never get the invite. Don't buy into the lie of self

  396. pity. Got run into your ABBA?

  397. Run into your ABBA with this brokenness as it's rubbing salt

  398. in your historic wound and let him do that work.

  399. Let him do a reversal. That's what he's doing today.

  400. If there's if anyone has something, then it means that

  401. there is less for you. Not enough love to go around,

  402. not enough opportunities. OK, not enough money, not enough

  403. friends. Always afraid that you're going

  404. to run out and miss out. The orphan causes spirit, causes

  405. you to use your emotions to manipulate.

  406. If you call, it will cause you to believe that you.

  407. If you speak plainly, you'll be rejected.

  408. Now, that does happen. We've got our eyes wide open.

  409. All this stuff happens. Paul's addressing it.

  410. Stop treating Timothy like he's nothing, OK?

  411. And it will have you using emotions as a way to passively

  412. or passive aggressively or aggressively communicate to get

  413. your needs met. What you're doing is driving

  414. everyone away. You're already alone.

  415. You already feel like an orphan, and now you're making it worse.

  416. I can preach this because this has been my journey.

  417. Amen. And so I'm giving this to you as

  418. a gift. Amen.

  419. The orphan spirit is a spiritual stronghold in your mind, in your

  420. emotions. It's making your body sick, your

  421. social health. What health?

  422. OK. And so the enemy wants to keep

  423. you in a realm of the natural, convincing you that your

  424. problems are just in the natural and not spiritual.

  425. He will keep you fighting, blaming, accusing against flesh

  426. and blood. He'll keep it grounded on the

  427. ground because he knows there's going nowhere.

  428. Soon as you lift it up and take it to the heavenlies and

  429. surrender and open and come back to say ABBA Father, ABBA Father,

  430. Amen. It starts to change.

  431. We fight at home with our spouse, children, family, at

  432. work, boss, everybody changing jobs, changing jobs.

  433. There's always that person. They'll always be the person.

  434. At some point, it's got to stop. You're working with the system

  435. at school, teachers, government and church.

  436. Amen. They can't be everywhere.

  437. I know they are. OK.

  438. I'm not silly. I know this does happen because

  439. we live in a fallen world. But there when you are carrying

  440. this, it's all you see. You are fixated on it.

  441. Amen. And it's torment and it's pain.

  442. God wants us to believe and grow and pray and progress and do

  443. spiritual battle and warfare in our authority in Christ.

  444. So that when contempt does happen to you, when abuse and

  445. when accusation and when when it does happen to you, you do have

  446. a support person that you can say, oh, man, this is this is

  447. really I'm in a real attack at the moment and I just need a

  448. hug. McKay Like, I'd go to Pastor

  449. Rachel. I wouldn't go to a guy.

  450. OK. And so you're just keeping this

  451. appropriate. And so I'd go Pastor Rachel and

  452. I'd say just give me a hug because that's a part of our

  453. life as well. And then, you know, I need just

  454. some emotional pray for me. And then I get up and I deal

  455. with it in the Spirit. It may still continue.

  456. I don't care. It's dealt with and I keep going

  457. until it submits itself. Everything bows its knee to the

  458. name of Jesus. God wants us to walk.

  459. God wants us to walk in a spirit of adoption.

  460. This church has got a mantle for adoption, even practically OK,

  461. you're you're adopting all over, even in my family, OK.

  462. And God can trust this church. This is a message for this

  463. church. And you've already been

  464. preaching this out. Maybe not like this, but that's

  465. OK. So John 1418, God said Jesus

  466. said I will not leave you as orphans, I will come to you

  467. often in that context means fatherless, but it means

  468. comfortless, it means bereaved, it means pain, something has

  469. died. So it's not literally an orphan.

  470. It can be but or you might be pushed out of your family or

  471. pushed out of somewhere and it is literal, but it causes death

  472. and blockage to your dreams, your hope, your vision, your

  473. abundant life, and your relationship with your father.

  474. Psalm 655-B says he is a father to the fatherless.

  475. Ephesians 15 says He predestined us for adoption as sons and

  476. daughters through Jesus Christ, according to his pleasure of His

  477. will, just because it gives him pleasure, just because God is

  478. love. Hebrews 10/19 says so.

  479. Dear brothers and sisters, we can now boldly enter heaven's

  480. most holy place because of the blood of Jesus.

  481. The spirit of adoption. Romans 815 says, For you have

  482. not received a spirit of slavery and an orphan spirit leading you

  483. to fear, but you have received the spirit of adoption, sons and

  484. daughters by which we cry. ABBA Father, ABBA Father, ABBA

  485. father. There is an anointing on this

  486. ABBA, ABBA. There is a cry from an orphan

  487. that's like my dash hound dog at the moment when I leave the

  488. room, it goes and she's like 14 weeks old because she loves me.

  489. And she's like, you know, And so there is a cry, there is a

  490. constant crying and it might not come out your mouth, but it, it

  491. needs to come out. It needs to be released.

  492. It needs to be not in sort of any disruptive way here.

  493. But at some point if God leads you as you get on your face with

  494. him and that spirit and all the pain from that comes out.

  495. When Joseph, when Joseph was, things were corrected for him.

  496. He let out a whale that the whole palace heard.

  497. The whole palace heard. Just the years of compounded

  498. living with this thing. Let it go, cry out.

  499. Let it go and then cry out. ABBA, ABBA, ABBA.

  500. There's a come on. ABBA, ABBA, say it.

  501. ABBA, ABBA. I don't care if we don't have

  502. any music. OK, This is going to happen and

  503. there's an anointing, there's a miraculous anointing, ABBA ABBA.

  504. And until you believe it, until it actually sinks in and it's

  505. now rooted and established and you and God closes the chapter

  506. and you walk out this place and leave this place today changed

  507. forever in Jesus name. Come boldly, come with faith,

  508. come with all your, with everything that you are because

  509. God is just waiting, but he wants a response.

  510. He's just waiting. You're already in, but you don't

  511. believe it. And so now this morning it's

  512. going to change. The characteristics of the

  513. spirit of adoption is rest. Instead of striving as I read

  514. these out, say just breathe in under your breath.

  515. I have a rest. I have the spirit of adoption.

  516. I'm a son, I am a daughter. I have rest instead of striving,

  517. confidence and boldness instead of fear.

  518. I am brave, I am courageous. I am not timid, I am not

  519. intimidated. Amen.

  520. That may be happening to you, but this is a faith step.

  521. You need to declare it. That word cry ABBA is the action

  522. of a prophet, not prophesying something to come.

  523. Prophesying like a prophet declaring, declaring it's

  524. already happened. So we cry ABBA, ABBA like that.

  525. Belonging instead of rejection, peace instead of torment.

  526. Trust instead of independence. Comparison, competition and

  527. control. Protection instead of being

  528. unsafe and at risk. Joy instead of pain.

  529. Obedience instead of sacrifice. Just like telling yourself, you

  530. know that lies of if I just perform, if I just do all this

  531. sacrifice, look what I'm doing. Just God says, you know,

  532. obedience is better than sacrifice.

  533. Provision and inheritance and blessing.

  534. Generosity instead of poverty. Balance and boundaries instead

  535. of living in crisis and chaos and living in risk.

  536. Identity in Christ instead of feeling like an impostor.

  537. The world calls that impostor syndrome.

  538. You are not treated with contempt by God.

  539. Hear that. You are not treated with

  540. contempt by God. The prodigal son had an orphan

  541. spirit all through the Bible. We do, you know, we're, we're,

  542. we were fallen and therefore we were removed from God.

  543. And then God's design was that we chose him.

  544. He always chose us, but we've always had this.

  545. So the prodigal son went and went off and ruined his life.

  546. And then he came to his senses. But he is the orphan spirit

  547. kicking in. I am no longer worthy to be

  548. called the son. Oh God, fix that quick.

  549. And he put it in his word so that we could preach it and

  550. preach it and preach it. Because when he got up and said,

  551. I am going to do my part in fixing this.

  552. So when he got up and went to his father, but while he was

  553. still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with

  554. compassion. And he ran to his son, and he

  555. threw his arms around him and kissed him.

  556. So as you play that song, we can do things a little bit

  557. differently. I believe we are going to go out

  558. with a joy, Chris and rage. OK?

  559. I believe that the the worship team will come back and that we

  560. will rejoice in this work. OK, Don't, don't be sort of like

  561. the oh, I don't feel it, I'm not feeling it.

  562. No, don't, don't do that. God's bigger than that.

  563. Amen. He's shifting something within

  564. you. But I want you as you listen to

  565. this, the words of this song will be on the screen.

  566. I want you to start saying ABBA, ABBA.

  567. I am your son. I am your daughter.

  568. I am your son. Let that cry come out because

  569. what happens in when we use our faith like Pastor Mel said that

  570. faith without works doesn't work.

  571. OK, But as we start to in faith say I believe, I believe you are

  572. my father. I believe that you accept me.

  573. Something will shift and you'll get in touch with the cry of the

  574. orphan spirit, and then you will believe it will be established.

  575. Are you having trouble with that song?

  576. Yeah. All right.

  577. Let's just wait. God wants to do something.

  578. Will you let him? Yeah.

  579. We'll do something different. Lord God.

  580. Hallelujah. Bless you, Lord.

  581. Holy Spirit. Calm, Holy Spirit.

  582. Calm. Lord.

  583. We will let you. Yes.

  584. Stand up. There's people responding.

  585. Come on. He's calling you.

  586. I'm standing. Lie down, stand up.

  587. This is a this is an operating theatre today.

  588. Confidence. My adoption song.

  589. Rebuke it Spirit blood of Jesus. Now he doesn't.

  590. Hallelujah. I'll sing in confidence.

  591. I adoption song. You are my family.

  592. I belong. I belong.

  593. Hallelujah. Confidence.

  594. My adoption song. Nothing's going to take it away.

  595. You don't have to strive. I carry your name.

  596. Hallelujah, Nothing's going to take.

  597. Nothing's going to take it away. I carry your name.

  598. I carry your name. Yes, we are.

  599. Thank you, Lord. I seize my inheritance.

  600. I claim I receive it. I seize it.

  601. I run after it. No one's going to take it.

  602. Nothing's going to take it. Sing it out in confidence.

  603. Hallelujah, Hallelujah. Thank you, Holy Spirit, powerful

  604. Holy Spirit. Just stay standing.

  605. It's just going to play.
